Danske ID is Danske Bank’s secure authentication app.  You can use Danske ID to authorise and approve actions on Mobile Bank, eBanking, District  and other Danske Bank requests.

You will need to be registered for eBanking or a registered District User in order to use the app.

To begin using the app, just download the app to your device and follow the activation steps.

When using Danske ID for the first time, you will need your eBanking User ID/District User ID and Passcode/Password.
You will also need to create a PIN code to log on to the app. For extra security you should choose a unique PIN code that you don’t use anywhere else.
Once the activation is complete, your Danske ID is ready to use. Simply log on and slide to approve when prompted by Danske Bank to do so.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS IN THE UK
If you are a business customer, you must be a registered District User to use Danske ID.
If you are a personal customer (aged 13 years and over) of Danske Bank in the UK using eBanking and have your eBanking User ID and passcode you can log on and use many of the features of the Danske ID. You must be registered for and have logged on to eBanking to use Danske ID. The Danske ID app may be temporarily unavailable when we are carrying out routine maintenance.

    doesn't work (android 7). force closes before giving any codes. since you stopped the security card that worked i have no way to connect to my account. you should do what other banks do - build your app around SMS. response to your response - i have called that number. rep promised to call me back and didn't. after a 10 minute hold on international rates. please fix your app and/or provide another way of communicating with you.

    App crashes on startup, essentially locking me out of internet banking. A lot of other reviews mention the same problem - seems to be an urgent issue. Started happening with the latest app version - 1.4 after Android upgrade to version 11. Side loading previous app version solves the issue temporarily. It's ridiculous that a critical issue like that is not yet fixed after multiple reports.

    Completely useless. It still crashes upon start on Android 11 release version on pixel 4 xl. And no this is not the beta version. EDIT: I followed the tip from another user and side loaded version 1.3.3 and this works fine even on Android 11, so there is definitely something wrong with version 1.4

    The most useless app ever encountered does not work on my phones bring back the card at least it worked not like this rubbish. New phone still doesn't work bring back the card at least it worked not this garbage app. Sorry but im fed up trying to get into bank but its useless with this app. Please don't keep telling everyone to ring bring the card that worked instead of this useless app Thank you.why do you not bring back the card at least it worked,why don't people listen to their customers.

    Its installed and I have used it. Trying now to use it and it wont work and the website says I have to download and install it but it already is...whats up?!? Never had any problems over these many years and now the new app is worthless

    App won't open since Android 11 update. It's unacceptable that a banking app does not work properly. How am I supposed to pay my bills if this app does not work? This app not working properly is enough reason to switch banks

    Yes here is one why? "It seems your mobile phone number is missing or needs to be updated in our records. Please select another activation method to proceed with activation. To update your phone number please visit your closest Danske Bank branch." I can update a number by myself on my bank profile, so now i cant use it even if i update a new number still i have to go to a the bank just to tell them Hi im here what now ?

    Very clumsy authentication process compared to most competitors. Out of a sudden needs activation again. Not nice to notice when you are in the middle of online payment. And you basically have to use backup credentials from different bank to handle it...

    Rubbish, can't make important payment, my ID must be different than my usual and it won't prompt or hint to remind what I must have uchanged to.

    Biometrics doesnt work, neither is it letting me set it up. The button "Use Biometrics" doesnt do anything. Please fix this.
