Best rhythm game so far. There's no doubt that this game gets a 5 star. It's challenging at times but you'll love it. Plus, with that Anime OP in the front, SICK! The BGM suits the OP a lot. Not to mention, it has a story and I definitely loved it. The songs are even categorised into different characters which make sense because they have their unique style of singing (so that the characters won't mix into other songs which sound really weird...) Keep it up, Rayark Games😊😊

  2. リンズ_ だ-avatar

apk I love this game so much even thought i have to purchase the characters' but there's a few character that are free thou..i hope that there will be another last character vanessa and looking forward for it to be a free characters....i'll be always supporting Arayark.

  3. Molly Sandera-avatar

gameplay Dude, i like this rhythm game, i like the way you have to use your fingers, and for some of you average players it may be difficult at start, but if you keep practicing you'll be doing chaos charts in no time*. The story is captivating and interesting. I'd say, definitely worth getting the extra content**. *exaggerated. Actual mastery may take a few months or more or less depending on how you learn **I'm not sure about the characters, but everything else is definitely extra.

ivy codes This is not the first time I tried to update this game and then it stops without reason, I'm using cellular data just to update some games especially this, it's almost 2gb and it will automatically stop when it reach 50% of the update. I'm using a 4G cellular data for faster network and it cost me too much, but it looks like the same as 3G network, even when I'm trying to update, please help me to my problem, I really need a help, or a response, i will give you a 5 star you deserve if its fixed.

opening - the whole rest Great Game! Relaxing and Fun! I really like games like this. It has a great story if you ignore the gameplay and take a look at some of the side stories on the posts that the characters posted and the other story like scenarios some Characters have. And all the characters have like different Genres of music type. Like Robo-Head is Future Bass + Remix type, ConneR is like Classical type. Great game overall. The devs clearly know what they are doing. Keep it up! (Ps, I got the game for free.)

  6. Miles 64-avatar

ivy Amazing game, though I'd recommend getting most IAPs from the character bundle of during sales. The story is magnificent and really picks up as you go.

wiki I Love the game so it's a 5 star for me, but i have a problem i need to address. When I restart the game when I have no internet.I can't play ConneR songs. It says i need to buy it so I need to connect to the internet to play ConneR's songs again. As someone who's not able to connect to the internet for long periods of time this is a problem for me please find a way to fix it. I also have miku but it doesn't happen to her.

  8. Stanley-avatar

mod apk it's a 5 star game, easily. However the character packs and capso is a too expensive, because the game itself is a paid game. I understand that it takes a lot of effort to produce such a beautiful game but not everyone can afford that much money just for a game, so please lower the game characters so that more people can access it. also, capso should be free for all, maybe just make those who pay have higher chance/better prize pool than those who don't. Then maybe we can all enjoy it more.

neko Absolutely love it! The game devs definitely stepped up their game as the cutscenes and story really keep me up! The song choices and the playable characters are charming and has a distinct personality that I reeeeeally love!! And I am so calling Sherry best girl ever. Thank you to the people who made this game, it really made me happy. Edit AND Spoilers: So I've caught up to the latest version.... SHERRY FREAKIN' DIED. AND I THOUGHT SHE'S BEST GIRL, SHE IS BEST GIRL! BUT WHYYYYYYYYY!!!! ( ;□;)

  10. Kate Byerley-avatar

miku The whole game is amazing! Whilst it would be nice for the paid features to be a *little* cheaper (and for there to be less of them), this is probably the best offline mobile game I've ever played. The beatmap is so detailed and complex, and it's amazing that each character has a different genre of music with artists who make songs just for the game. The story and the whole lore side add an even more enjoyable side to the game, too! Really well thought out.

  11. Crispy-avatar

Amazing.Music, story, interesting concept! However it would be better if the CAPSO gacha system would be free. Like whenever you level up a character you get those coins but you cant even use it? You have to pay about $13+ This is one thing i extremely dislike.Overall even if you paid $2 to get this amazing game, there is a bigger paywall and you wont get the FULL story. But eh understable. Anyways the free characters and existing story is really good.Just hope that the CAPSO would be free.

  12. Aiden 327-avatar

Definitely the best mobile for me! It's all based on skill, so you can enjoy super easy levels or super hard ones. It's very addicting too. It really keeps you hooked for a while. The only thing that I have a problem with is the dlc. I think it's just way too much money to spend. I would do $5 a character but spending $90 on all the characters is way too over priced. Especially considering if you want the capso system or the song song packs. Overall though, really great and really fun!

To be fair I never get the appeal of these rythm games. However with whopping a gig download it surely took me minutes to the actual game which are simple touch animations. Before that you need to watch all the video intros and overtly fancy but really unnecessary introductions. Surely you can think of better way to make the game fancy instead of just slapping a gig of movie file(s).

  14. ImmortalsCreed-avatar

Rayark I will change this into 5 star once you fixed the new character. It seems that after the update, I barely play the game with the new character. As I exit the game and run the game again, I can play the other characters, except for the new one. Can you fix it fastly so that I can play and follow the story? Your game is great but there is an error in it. Please respond the message. Thanks a bunch.

  15. Ash-avatar

As much as I love this game, even enough to the point I paid for all the characters, I'm really just so angry. This has been happening more often than I'd like to admit. Anytime I play a song I will miss notes, not because I'm really unskilled (I am) but because I know when I hit the notes and yet it doesn't register and counts it as miss. Case in point, I decided I wanted to have a relaxed session so I played on hard mode rather than chaos and I missed notes on songs that were easy to MM.

  16. Corrin Arisato-avatar

Okay, I cannot believe this is happening again, but the game will not open, much like what had happened several months ago. Rayark, please fix this, I've spent a ton of money on this game and I want to be able to play.

  17. ella moorman-avatar

It is a great rhythm game with a big mysteries with other mysteries along with it.You start with five characters, but 10 dollars for the other nine is pricey. I got a discount on my that it was only $35 instead of $90! The only thing wrong is YOU'LL BE OBBSESED!! THIS IS THE BEST GAME! Also it is offline. I had I problem and emailed them about and the reponed qickly! They were so nice and helpful. 5/5 for everthing. I will say, TURN ON YOUR CLOUD, or you will have the same problem I had. 5/5

  18. Nishio Maeda-avatar

This game is a primary example of why no one who wasn't sucked into rhythm games by DDR or Osu is playing rhythm games. 2 dollars for the game itself, seems completely reasonable, if not cheap, for a good rhythm game. But it was very apparent soon after that initial purchase that I was going to need to spend a lot more money to play the songs I came for. The total for all the characters is 100 dollars, and the song packs are somewhere around 50, too depressed to count anymore. This is greed.

  19. Rafael Solis-avatar

Gotta say this game hooked me so much, love the songs and all, but is not 5 stars because of 1 huge reason...the developers made the same mistake as many others, apart from them selling you the game (however I don't regret buying it, at all) and reach some point where you gotta buy more songs and characters so you can still play it completely which is not fair, because I already paid for the game wondering to play it completely, but you can't unless you pay more. I beg to you to change this!!!

  20. DeltAlpha-avatar

Pros: Good story (some might find reading boring), great gameplay (fluid and dynamic) and great selection of songs (promoting underrated Asian music). Cons: Beat sync is bit off, too much microtransactions (somewhat okay for majority but bad for kids), imperfect translations but still understandable and flashy at first (if you are Cytus 1 player). Overall: 7/10

  21. Jingyi Yang-avatar

I use Pixel 2xl download this game. At the first time I download it, I can play it normally, every thing is fine. Then I delete it to free up the space of my phone. However, when I opened it, it just shows black screens forever after the earphone icon shows. I went to computer to check the game package on my phone, and found the game content, which is the .obb file is missing. I purchased all the content in this game and I hope this problem can be solved soon.

  22. Gabriel Rosimo-avatar

I am incredibly disappointed by seeing this game become a corporate "Everything is locked behind an expensive paywall" game. I love playing this game, I do, but seeing these OUTRAGEOUS prices is really making me worry if Rayark has fallen into nothing but money first, consumers later type of mindset. I don't care about any discount. The fact that I have to pay 10$ /520 Php for one character is way to expensive, and honestly, quite stupid. Even the new feature is locked behind a paywall.

  23. Penguin-avatar

Great game with decent song Lots of paid contents for side characters Only one thing I don't like is the story progressing system forced you to reach a certain level of Paff, Neko, Robohead in order to unlock more songs and other difficulties. Personally I don't like Robohead's music genre and I think making players "enjoy" genre they don't like for diverse experience isn't a good way to go

Visuals, music, game play are all fantastic. Super wide variety of musical genres and really neat characters. There is a sort of story mode that happens in the background that I haven't gotten into yet. Absolutely worth the $2 especially since there is a lot of replayability.

  25. Roy Huang-avatar

Good game but way too much paid content. You have to pay for all of the side characters and capso but other than that it's fun,but why do they give us these lottery ticket things after every round but we have to pay to use them? We have to pay to get the chance to win stuff. Each character cost way too much and we have to grind exp for characters whose songs we don't even like so that we can advance in the story.

  26. Alfred Briones-avatar

It's really entertaining but for someone like me that can't afford new characters... It's really expensive. But I won't comply that much cause I know how hard work y'all to do this game and I hope for the cytus lll "if ever" is more affordable characters,? Chapters, cool stories and more. Over all 9/10. Also Greetings from Philippines me and my whole classmate friends really love this game...

  27. Edward JP-avatar

a great game and story. BUT, too many IAPs. and cloud save isn't working either. i lost all my progress when i accidentally uninstalled it. some songs are very difficult. and the whole capso system is sht. you play songs, get letters, get capsules, and pay to get access to the lottery which is nonsense. i still have a lot of complaints but this very box just can't contain it.

  28. Castafiore-avatar

5 stars on the pure quality of content provided, well worth the base purchase price; what takes it down to 4 stars is the sheer amount of paid DLC the game has. It's not as bad as gacha prices-- but it is pretty egregious for an already base paid game. Though I don't know for sure, I'd assume that more than half of the game's full content is locked behind paid DLC, seeing how many paid vs free characters there are. The game is good and I'd recommend it to many, but the paid DLC is disheartening.

I'm a big fan of cytus and have been playing since release of the first. I've happily paid for every song pack over the years, and shelled out for CASPO without really realising what it is. Paying for -access- to a gacha system is crazy, and if I could have immediately refunded it, I would do.

I thoroughly enjoyed Cytus 1, enough to make it the only time I've ever spent money on a mobile game. Cytus II is just as enjoyable, and I loved playing this one just as much as I did Cytus 1. The only problem this game has is it's VICIOUS paywall system. If it wasn't for how aggressive this system is, and just how everything is monetized, I would've easily given this five stars.

  31. adam thomas-avatar

A very fun rhythm game with a good UI and interesting story. However, I have docked many points due to how expensive it is. I understand companies need to make money to run an app and make a profit, but half of the songs costing money is a huge letdown. Over thirty dollars to unlock those songs, plus another ten dollars just to use CAPSO? No thanks.

  32. Benny Thompson-avatar

I have put too much money into this game. Download google survey app, use the currency built up over time, wait for a sale. The game is exceptional, but make sure your phone isn't too old, or it'll heat up and lag. Damn good music, mostly. Could use longer maps. Needs an option to externally access the music (seeing as the game is f***ing expensive {seriously, it's well over $100 in total} it would be appropriate {and honestly expected} for the prices) I'm salty, but for good reasons.

  33. Sidharth Saroj-avatar

Let's see how much you can improve so it's maintain our interest...!!🙇👍🙇

The game is really good, i really enjoy playing it, probably the best rythm game for mobile so far. But my problem is the crazy amount of money you have to pay to continue the story like, even if you have to pay for the characters, why would you need to pay 10 dollars for a gacha system? Its just ridiculous for me and probably everyone that played/plays this game, its just unfair.

The gameplay is very good. Glad they fixing most bugs that was in the first part. Music depends, some i like, some not. Really like the story part and cinematics. But the pay 2 play part worries me in the future. If im going to have to spend approx 80$ for rest of the game songs. Also those capsules should be able to use free and not 10$ to unclock .

It took a full year for the intro cinematic to no longer be spoilers (as of the release of Sagar and Rin at the start of 2020). They added a slot machine you have to pay $12 to be allowed to use. Not the ability to instantly unlock all its content, but the ability to use the CAPSOs you get from playing songs to randomly unlock that content. I would've been happy to grind songs to eventually get free content eventually but was disappointed. From the looks of it more of these are on the way.

I found the game during one of the free intervals, and loved it. The graphics and UI are slick, the songs are fun and challenging, the story more intense and detailed than I expected. They really thought out this fictional world. There are unfortunately drawbacks: all the DLC is drastically overpriced. I've purchased the extra characters, but only on sale. They're all quite fun too -- just wait for the regular sales!

  40. Andy Hoang-avatar

Good music, decent mechanics, but use Play Pass or be prepared to drop money money. Game has 80 songs, and another 179 DLC songs (at time of writing). Even with sales, the DLC adds up to about $100 - when you break down the value ratio it's pretty good, but that's still a high total cost. There is also significant grind. If you're prepared to buy all the DLC and play every song on every difficulty, you will never have to repeat content. Otherwise, things will get repetitive.

  41. Shinku Enshoku-avatar

The game is good as someone who already played the 1st cytus i think it's amazing and great.Musics are good but.. the beat is off i mean you already tap the circles and the song will come right after, it will be greater if it sync with the circles and all. Oh, and by the way. .what's with the capso? if we(free players) wouldn't be able to use the gacha sytem without paying it. .i mean damn I'm jealous and all the update is messing with me, by doing that? But Features, songs, and story is great.

I used to love Cytus II. It's still my go-to, number one rhythm game, but... the monetization is silly. I do think that paying $40 for every character is reasonable. It's a lot of music, a lot of art, and a lot of playtime, all console quality for a mobile app. But what I don't agree with is charging $5 for song packs, or $10 to unlock a gacha system with a couple of skins. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad if they had some sort of loyalty system that awarded early adopters who stuck with them...

An amazing game but too expensive, I really want to give the game 5 stars but sadly the game has too many in-app purchases, the amount of money that I need to pay for each character is too much, I'm okay having to pay for the game but for each character , NO, I really hate that and I'm sure a lot of people would be feeling the same way, it would be okay if Miku and the others had to be bought but for Aroma, Nora and the other Neko had to be paid is too much, I love u Rayark, but it's too much.

  44. Pierre Rahman-avatar

The tracks are amazing and the story is really interesting to read and I really enjoy piecing together the stories by leveling up characters. Being really new at rhythm games I'm slowly learning to get better and I'm having fun doing so. The capso system is kind of eh as I never really unlocked it. It was worthwhile unlocking all the other characters on sale though. Very enjoyable!

Cytus 2 is a great game, the story in it is what drives me playing, I had purchased all the dlc character and song, i must say, it is indeed overpriced, but i was curious about the story, so i purchased it anyway ~.~. However, the dialogue in this game, there are so many spelling and grammar mistake, after reading all the dialogue in version 2.8.5, there are at least 20++ dialogue that messed up, really ruined the experience of story, thats why i gave 4 star, hope the developer fixed it

  46. Tasin 707-avatar

It's a great game . Awesome story . Its gives a sifi feeling of future music . There are 3 modes for every song. Loved the characters and songs . I am playing this for about a week now. I just wanna say the capso system is locked . It requires a little cost . It's not the problem but you guys should add that on the game description so the free gamers like me don't lose hope . I will still play the game even if it costs and I don't get many contents . That's how good it is . Thanks

  47. Nemui Tim-avatar

A beautiful game with amazing songs and great gameplay BUT very expensive for a mobile game. Personally I bought all the dlc and I like them. But at normal price to get all the contents you will have to pay 100+ dollars normally. You shouldn't never ever pay this much. Give the game a chance and play the first few free characters. If you love the game WAIT for discounts and get the dlc don't buy them at full price. WAIT FOR DISCOUNT PLEASE. PS: capso should have be free after you buy the dlc

Music's great, gameplay is quite smooth for my device, story is rather enticing... Yet, for a paid game, there are more purchasable content and other story elements locked behind prices. Overall one of the best rhythm games, but fairly frustrating in some aspects. ESPECIALLY CAPSO... The devs should've added it free of charge for easy access.

  49. Abdies-avatar

It's a visually pleasing upgrade from cytus 1. The gap between easy and hard is pretty jarring for most songs and the tap mechanics feel more forced and less cohesive making it extremely difficult to play on a mobile phone. I love rhythm games and I fell in love with the original, but I found myself just wildly tapping at the icons more than feeling like I was syncing my taps with the songs.

  50. Kesu3n-avatar

This game actually pretty good and much better than the first Cytus. Gameplay: It is just like your traditional cytus with much better skin. Control: It's simple but sometimes I found an error for double touch some note. Story: Dayum this is good, since It's shows how society could move because of one person. Addition: This game has revolutionary loot box (CAPSO) system that could be used by other game.

  51. Edward Kolin-avatar

The game is fun, it really is... It's challenging... There's no ads but the microtransactions is just too much 519 per character, it could be fine if the game was free but it isn't you need to buy it, plus the CAPSO that ruined it, getting CAPSO but you need to pay 519 to use it, and did I tell you that it works like a slot machine? The microtransaction has gone far, at least remove it or lower it... Please...

  52. Siddasloth-avatar

This game is about all you can ask from a rhrythm game. Crisp and clean graphics, well animated and lively UI, has nice cutscenes for the times it matters, an actually interesting and engaging story line with a unique delivery, great music, and so on. The only "issue", per say, is the In app purchases. You get around 50-60% of the game for free, while the rest costs a bunch. The rest costs around 70-80 USD (maybe more now), which is quite a bit, but this stuff isn't required for a good time. Gj.

  53. Chopzzz-avatar

Hey, this game is pretty fine and good to play, but its pretty expensive to play especially 15 dollars sg per pack. Overall, good experience. I would like to suggest one good and new feature. Maybe, you can set up a multiplayer world , where everyone can customised their own maps and put it in the platform for everyone to play like custom maps so that the game can be more fun and challenging.

  54. Plz Help-avatar

From playing this app I can conclude a few things. 1. The game is pretty fun and runs very smoothly (well at least more smoothly than the first game. 2. It's just a personal opinion but I found some of the songs to be lack luster compared to the first. They seem kind of repetitive and original. Other than that it's a very solid game Only one request : can you stop giving notifications about song packs that I've already bought and can you stop adding paid content and more free?

  55. Ellyza Campo-avatar

I love this game! I spend a lot of my free time on it. It went on sale so I got to download for free! It's worth it! I wish that a lot of the content wasn't so... Locked awa behind price tags. The sales on the characters seem worth it though. Will buy sometime! Looking forward to that. I wish CAPSO wasn't a paid thing tho—

  56. IffyFifty-avatar

Cytus is a great rhythm game for players of all skill levels - be it your first time trying out rhythm games, or a super skilled player at osu!. The game itself has multiple genres of songs unlocked once the base game is purchased. They drop free songs every update too. My only gripe about this game is the multiple and numerous amounts of dlc for new content. At this point, it's just a cash-grab by Rayark to idk, make more neko pictures? Even if the dlc packs are neat, this is unforgivable.

  57. BlackAlpha-avatar

This game is one of the best ones I've played in mobile. Not only is it anime themed, but it also has great story! Mentally speaking, it improves your reaction time. You'll be more into reading and be blessed that you can read as well!. Even though there are a ton of DLCs, they're still very fun even without those(DLC is just as fun so 1+1=2!). That means, you'll still feel valued even if it's just the cheap/free stuff! (Thanks Rayark!). Also improved my taste in music and play instruments. OuOb

Fun experience and immersive gameplay. Although there are some minor problems such as the whole game will rotate to potrait mode after turning off my phone during mid game but the problem is easily fixed by restarting the game itself. I hope the developer will try to solve the asap since it might ruins the gameplay experience of some other players. In regards of all that i will still support Cytus project at give a 5 star rating~

  59. Wolf Of Dawn-avatar

Brilliant game. The best in the genre for mobile apps. However the new capso system has really thrown me off. Its irritating having those tickets and the notification in the corner to use them however you can't without paying. I have no problem with the paid features of the game however the capso system shoves it in your face way to much.

  60. Ou Zhong-avatar

this is an amazing story told through a novel medium. For me the songs and the rhythm game play are only a bonus and sometimes even an obstacle to enjoying the main content of this game: the plot. I have no idea how far along I am on the main storyline, it continues to be exciting and full of suspense after every twist and reveal. I think the price for DLC content is fair, considering how much free content there is. I have not run out of it yet.

** I'm editing this because I recently reached level 56 on PAFF and I received two documents. The story/text document opens fine but when I try to open the second presumably photo document the game shows the document framework but never loads the photo, which forces me to manually close the entire game just to leave the unloaded document page. Is this simply an issue I have? Is it strangely intentional? It's pretty annoying.

  62. Berk Iliev-avatar

Gameplay and lore-wise the game has plenty to offer, however, an overwhelming part of the content is locked behind paid DLC ( Gacha and a number of characters ). A great addition to the game would be some way of unlocking this content, some kind of progression towards it, especially for players who do not wish to pay further but have the time and effort to reach it.

  63. Scott Nash-avatar

This game is really a lot of fun. There is a lot different music and difficulty levels. I never normally do in app purchases, especially when the cost is so high. I paid 10.00 for the capso unlock and I was able to catch a sale on the characters for 35.00. That unlocked them all, except one that was 4.99 additional. This might seem like a lot, but not compared to the time I will spend playing it. There is more to the story than what it seems like and the Dems did some very very cool stuff.

  64. Natasha Petrus-avatar

I paid to unlock ALL premium characters on the first day. Yes, it's that good. ConneR is my absolute favorite so if you're thinking of just getting one character, I'd highly recommend him. I also love that this second version has more of a storyline/quests we need to accomplish (compared to the original Cytus), so it makes the game more fun and not simply another music video game, although it still is very entertaining without.

  65. Boing Bwoing-avatar

Cytus 2 is a beautiful game. You can tell how much work the developers have put into the game. My only gripe is about how much locked content you have to pay for. I'd say around +50% of the game is locked and costs additional money. As you level up you earn pills which is a lottery currency for you to earn additional in game additions. However, to spend this you need to buy the actual shop with real money. These purchases are expensive too, each character will set you back $10.

  66. Elifas Neto-avatar

This CAPSO system is bad and a bad sign as well. The game is awesome and have a lot of content for a low price, but the amount of DLC this game has is HUGE and the price is more expensive than the game itself. Ok, every character has a huge amount of content and the story is amazing, but now they included a loot box system which you can only access paying even more than 1 character DLC. The game is cheap, but it's not a reason to put P2P content every new update. No more money for you.

  67. Nickk-avatar

Look,i love this game and all its a great game im not gonna lie. However to have in app purchases that actually makes the story complete is complete bs, it's as if you buy a puzzle from a store and you need to buy each pieces seperately. If you want to make a great game make it pay once but with a large amount of money rather than to squeeze the wallet of millions of people to make a complete game.

  68. Amy G. 72-avatar

Im not very good at rhythm games and Im very picky with them but Cytus Its just so special. At first I wasnt that upsessed with it, but i still played it. The more the story progressed, the more i liked the game. At some point it made me cry. What im saying is that i really like it. Im still waiting for updates but in the mean time i try and get better and try to beat my own score

  69. Silent Watcher-avatar

The gameplay is way better than cytus, they'd finally refine it. I'd say it's even better than deemo, at least if you play both on smartphone. Some of the dlcs are actually worth the price, while some others are still a little too expensive. Overall, it's a 4.5/5. But, who in the name of satan gave you the idea to sell access for unlockables with more than the base game's price?!!! Don't follow those battle-pass/mtx riddled games! Is the revenue from song packs and gacha not enough for you guys?

  70. _Nameless-avatar

One of the best Rhythm Game I've ever played in my entire life, I like how this rhythm game actually has a plot it in, not like the other ones, I mean, there are some rhythm games that has a storyline, but nothing has come close to Cytus II, people should really check this game out and also support the developers!

  71. Danny-avatar

Could you please add a new feature which is music lyrics? It would be great! Listening to the song while playing is fabulous, but if there's lyrics,it would be astounding! Getting to know deeper about the song and it's lyrics really add more to the gaming experience in my opinion. That's all, thanks for reading.

  72. RENE ADORIO-avatar

I love this game. Rythm games had been my favorite since I was young. Sadly, I don't have money... By the way, I found a small bug (I don't know if I'm the only one or that this is a feature of the game). When I open the file " Image_Academy_702_10_07 " , it'll only lead me to a blank screen. There's not even a back button, so I had to close the game and reopen it in order to play it again. I have screenshots if they're needed.

  73. J Blue-avatar

Cloud save does not work. Once the game is uninstalled, you'll never get your save back. Even if you reinstall it right away on the same device. So forget about switching devices. This is disappointing because I bought every character and song pack, just to lose them all. Money wasted.

  74. Lucas P-avatar

Very hard to get used to the rythm style if you haven't played CyTus extensively before, but you do get used to it. I would have dropped this app if it wasn't for the story, because honestly the free tracks are kinda bland and annoying to play. The pay-for characters generally have better songs imo. I got them all with the value deal ($35) and it was worth it at that price (otherwise $10/per character)

At first it was intriguing, the game mechanics are quite weird at first, every time I read the story on "iM" and the "database" (sadly only some of them has animations :v) It drives me more to play and actually enjoy the song while leveling up cuz I've been hearing bad complaints about how hard the game is but as I delved more into the story I became attached to it and it would become a part of my life that I would impossibly forget in the future, all in all it's a beautiful game, must try #øwøX

The gameplay is amazing, but the fact that at certain point we need to grind exp if we dont want to spend any money (other than buting this game) is kinda unavoidable, thats why the 3 stars rating. I have an issue with the game, I can't open 2 logs with the name of the logs are Image_academy_702_10_7 and Cam03_center_702_11_4. If I try to open them, it wont show anything and I can't do anything with the game, has to close and reenter game so I can play again.

Beautiful game with lots of good songs. Any fan of rhythm based games like ddr, stepmania, taiko etc will like this. 100% needs headphones as they say because you miss some sounds and beats especially at higher levels. Only real "problem" to me is how expensive the additional content gets. I understand licensing costs and stuff but even the new capso feature is $10 to unlock, and every song pack (which there are plenty of) are minimum $5, to get it all is well over $100 unless you get a special

  78. Drazihrac-avatar

Pros: -The best, Cleanest rythm game on mobile -Low entry price of 3$ -Frequent Sales on DLC -New songs (free and paid) being added quite frequently -Hundreds, no, thousands of hours of fun -Great community Cons: -Over 100$ of DLC -Sneaky devs caing a feature "free" and then making you pay 10$ for it -Extremely buggy on phones that are older than about 3~4 years Expensive game, but worth every penny I've spent on it. Would definitely recommend.

I'm progressing on my own pace but I really want to purchase miku first, however, I'm having issues with the cloud save. It's always off even with wifi on and when i toggle it on, it justs exits on a black screen or either freeze. This is my only complaint but otherwise, pretty good game. I would really like to have a helping hand from the devs with the cloud save. (I'm prone to losing phones so in case in an accident I could still play with the same progress.)

Told it enjoyable but it short then the frist game, and you can't unlock new characters without paying more. So yea.. also there like a glitch or something, for some reason the game loses all his progress I think he re played the 2 or three times, I can only imagine how annoying that can be. If it can be fix please do it, Thank you.

Coming from the first Cytus, I knew kinda what I was getting into. The story is actually more pronounced, as you piece notes from various posts and chats in the game. I love the story telling in the game. There is a bit of content being paywalls, but what content isn't is still pretty amazing. I would love this to be a full release on switch like Cytus alpha.

  83. Szetiark-avatar

The best rythm game on mobile (subjective), one of the few games I play on my phone regularly. The story is surprisingly strong and well put together (as expected of Rayark). Gameplay is much improved from the original Cytus and contains a diverse song list so you're bound to find something you like. I can't really say this game is beginner friendly as the difficulty between easy and hard is fairly steep (even worse from hard to chaos), but is incredibly satisfying when you MM a hard song.

  84. Joshua Bailey-avatar

I've been a fan of rhythm games for years but never picked up any for mobile. On a whim, and since Cytus II is included on the Game Pass I picked it up. I've been glued to it in my free time since I started. There's a great selection of songs, and the narrative is presented in an appropriate way. Is recommend it to any fan of rhythm games in general.

  85. beeg thonk-avatar

The game itself with its music and carefully written storyline (even though many of the dialogues make cringe hard) is worth more than 5 stars, believe me. But oh god, the songs. The singers' pronunciation is absolutely abysmal at times. Not to mention the lyrics' horrifying grammar. It's basically confusing collection of words forced together to form a monstrousity of a sentence that doesn't make any sense whatsoever until put in a english to mandarin google translator.

What's going on??

EDIT: I just decided to try it again and it is working again. Unplayable on the pixel 3. I have submitted a support request and received a response that it is being investigated. Looking at other reviews this has been going on for some time. I will update once I get confirmation it is working again. But this is not the best game for the Google play pass subscription either. Game doesn't work on even Google's own hardware but they put it in the play pass.

  88. Jack Sheldon-avatar

Solid rhythm experience with a decent, if not proofread for English, story. Been enjoying it since launch, and although I have been getting the expansions when they release, they are fairly overpriced when launched. Highly recommend playing the base game (which has a lot of content as is) and then getting the characters and song packs on sale. Overall, great track list, interesting narrative and the bottom line of a fun game.

  89. Shiro Kagami-avatar

I love this game so much. I even loved the first one. But I give 4 stars because it's pay to play. You already have to pay to get this game and then you also have to pay for features, song packs and character. Which is a bit too much in my opinion. I enjoy playing it but I'm too poor to buy anything of this game. Also to add that I can't pay for it even if I wanted to because of my debit card from my bank, which don't let me buy anything online or via app store.

  90. Jacob Optiz-avatar

The gameplay is good. The, the story is kinda lacking but the core gameplay and graphics are fun. It's the handling of story dlc that ruins the experience. With all the charecter dlc that are necessary to get the full story experience, this little 2$ game is actually over 100$+ and growing with each update. You know Rayark as a long time fan since Cytus 1(1.99mostly free) I put up with it back then. In Deemo (over 100$+) it was getting old. Voez (80$+) it was horrible. And with this, I'm done.

Fun rythm game with a challenge that makes you feel like you accomplish something each time you complete a song, but having to pay 10 dollars for a character with only of couple songs is kind of a bummer, but they do have sales often were you can get all the characters for a low price which is pretty awesome and help for a one time purchase.

It's basically an eye candy mixed with some great music and thrilling gameplay. Not to mention the intriguing storyline, it keeps you craving for more. The only drawback which comes to mind is that the beat map of some songs could use a little bit of working on. However it's still 5 star worthy for the gameplay and visuals alone.

Art style is lovely. The gameplay it's somewhat tedious but challenging (at least compared to other rhythm games. Even Rayark own games.) Note alignment to the songs it's a bit weird. (There are not a clear instrument being used for a chart) Most story content is either told via a fake dumb social media feed or it's pay-walled. I'm sincerely disappointed.

  97. I'mReallyTired-avatar

The game is a lot of fun, but the pay walls are getting to be obnoxious at this point. Like, really? Because I refuse to pay, I have to play the same 6 songs to get Crystal punk from level 5 to level 25?? And with the addition of new characters that nobody asked for, rayark's greed is even more apparent. Edit: wow, I didn't think it was possible, but it got worse. The new CAPSO system allows you to raffle for new content, which is fine. But you're required to pay 10 dollars first??? Disgusting.

  100. Daniel Morales-avatar

Great game, crappy business model. I bought the game just like I did with deemo and the first cytus, yet this feels the least complete to me as a purchase . You get 3 characters with about 20ish songs and 2 characters with maybe 10 songs max, that's all you get for buying the game, if u want more characters they are 10 dollars each, even if they are part of the story and they have about 15 songs each. This new update pisses me off because you need to pay to access loot boxes that you earn. Bad
