The service at the core is great. It is fast and reliable. However the app it self needs some work. It eats your battery. When you are disconnected, it still has the notification letting you know it is disconnected. Even when the app shouldn't be doing anything it's still using my battery. Otherwise CyberGhost is a great service.

Playstore app works sometimes unfortunately I've never worked out a combination to get the app working reliabily. My big problem is the reduction of service of the free chromebook vpn that works perfectly but after a few minutes starts throttling. Update free version working better now keeping my fingers crossed.

Works for my laptop. But it won't let me connect to my account on my phone. Says account not confirmed. Getting annoyed. Let me know if there's something I'm missing. Update: got In touch with support. Problem solved. Works on my phone now as well. Thx.

easiest VPN, provides complete protection- install it and forget it. NOTE; It disconnects sometimes so make sure it's running before you login to your bank website or enter charge card info.

My internet is unlimited for 19hrs a day and charges extra for peak times 6pm - 11pm. When internet starts again at 11pm cyberghost blocks the connection so all emails etc. stop until I wake and unblock cyberghost. I have asked them to sort it out but they don't seem interested in the problem. Wow thanks for the response! To think all you had to do to get a satisfied customer was to change from trying to connect for 5 hrs to 6hrs.

I'm very happy with the application. One thing though: I have a wifi connection marked as unsafe and the configuration is set to "protect" for it. However, the VPN doesn't start automatically when the wifi is reconnected - I have to reconnect the VPN manually. LE: I uninstalled the application and installed it again, as suggested by the developer, but it behaves identically..

Doesn't connect to a server. It just says conneting and then it gets disconnected. I also have to force stop the app.

Failed to launch after working fine.. Installed update which solved nothing, still not working. Making phone hot and losing battery. I have "force stop" the app many times. Restart my device still no function. I will cancel my subscription.

CyberGhost is easy to use and it doesn't slow down my speed in any noticable way. I mostly use it to protect my device while on public wifi or for private browsing at home when I don't want my ISP to track what I'm doing. I did my research and have tested the privacy myself several ways, it holds up. I have been very happy with the Windows client as well, it worked great on my wife's iPhone, and today I finally got the app to work on my Chromebook (it took some work).

I have only one problem with the app. It wont connect automatically on wifi networks that I clearly set to protect. I need to manually connect every time. This is clearly a bug in the app. Please fix it!

I have contacted customer service over live chat a couple of times as I learnt how it all worked, an they were fantastic, got to speak to a person within 2 min, they were very helpful and polite. Worked for 1 day. Now it doesn't connect. App says "An Active Internet Connection is Required" even though I'm on active WIFI. I paid $10 to use it for 1 day. Not cool.

limited netflix proxys doesnt include brazil which has the best catalog, wish i didnt buy a 2 year subscription, also just realised the android client doesnt have a P2P mode.

Rubbish! paid so i could log into foxtel account from overseas and doesnt work. ripped off again 😞

Password doesnt work recovery doesnt work and reset code doesnt work. Changing password does not do anything. No longer any free alternative

I love that I can turn on/off anti tracking, data compression, malicious website protection, ad-blocker, Wi-fi protection, and use random port, all extremely useful features for myself. But most importantly is the servers are very reliable and fast. No joke, almost all the android VPN's I've tried so far have had extremely inconsistent server's, great one day, literally unusable the next. Sometimes it's even month by month. Only one has held for me, I hope Ghost will be the second.

Great as a privacy tool while browsing but does not work with Netflix as promised. 1 day trial is all I'll use. Wont be paying a penny 'til this is sorted.

On Chromebook the current Play Store app works sometimes the free Web Store extension (life saver) is working better now after a bad patch.Otherwise five stars with Android, W10, and ipad/phone.
