The content is top-class. Will continue to use the app. However the app could use some major debugging.. keeps crashing when listening. Audio just stops and app closes. This can happen multiple times in a few minutes, making listening impossible. Other times audio keeps playing, but i get a message "unable to connect to app". Very buggy despite being around for some time..

Excellent choice of content and superbly narrated. I find it particularly useful for commuting. It is so easy to put together a playlist and be both entertained and informed throughout the journey.

Updated review. Great topics, live the access, but the queuing is atrocious. Won't auto queue selected tracks, and plays the same ones over and over. Beyond frustrating because you have to keep opening the app selecting what you want try to make sure you library is queued up, start again... then same problem. And it doesn't play well with Bluetooth :/ If it wasn't for the content it would be 1 star

I have used similar apps before so when I saw the ad, I instantly donloaded. Scrolled trough the for you page, browse and playlist. Only found two I would click on and you have to download it to listen, which is awful. Most of the arcicles are like those dodgy,clickbait,scam news-sites "you wouldn't believe what happenes next". Also it is very expensive, not worth it.

I love the content, I really do. However the app needs work. It crashes on me often when I'm streaming. Removing downloads from the list is burdensome. There aren't enough options in settings for how the app should function. I have to remove every single article manually from my queue to clear it. I really like the content and I hope the app steps up

Unable to play after signing up. Once I click play - A pop up comes up saying - this track is not available "offline". I'm not trying to download here. On Desktop it just plays fine. I'm a first time user, signed up after seeing a "Twitter" ad. When I click read along, it takes me to a browser. This is frustrating customer experience.

The subscription experience is terrible. Tried to subscribe and was getting notifications that it was unsuccessful. Contacted the support team and was told that if I didnt get an invoice then I should try again. I haven't tried it yet and a few days later I get an email that someone charged the card to initiate subscription. Worst thing is when I go in manage my subscriptions I get that no active subscriptions exist. Terrible customer experience before even using the product 😞

I haven't been able to listen to a story in full without the app shutting down multiple times. It's been this way for over a month so maybe they are choosing not to support fixes for Google Pixels?

Can you prioritize fixing this app before launching new features. I joined Curio in the early days when you first launched. The content was interesting, the narrator's were entertaining, and the sources were credible. However your user experience was horrible. Queuing is a disaster, searching relevant contant was mission and the app overall is filled with bugs. A few months later I decided to renew my subscription only to find nothing has changed except for the addition of Wake Up With Curio..

Hmm.. The advocacy is good but there's two things that bothers me in here.. after 7 days you're kicked out in the app as it was only made by prioritizing premium users.. secondly, i love the way it speaks in english even its robotized but there isn't any option for male voice and even captions from where the voice starts.. i felt like it wasn't user friendly at all plus it was just made for the wealthy people. I'm done, but still thnks for the experience.
