I absolutely love this game, but due to the newest update it has become less fun, many of my guild mates have quit playing all together. This game has become a pay to win game and the amount needed to evolve/awaken is ridiculous and will take anyone who cant afford the paid deals years to achieve for 1 character. It seems the developers for this game only want your money, and do not care about the game being fun for everyone. I have always had this game at five stars, but unfortunately it is now a 1. Thanks for the awesome game up until recently. I hope i am able to edit this review later on.

Got this game because it was on a offer wall to get irl rewards, and next thing i know im completely addicted to the game and play all the time. spending some money on the game definitely helps speed up progression but you can still get as far as you want, just takes more time. Overall great game and is something i play whenever im bored.

Great fun, no pay to win. < Now false. Update: I have really enjoyed this game for years. I put tons of time in since it wasn't focused on pay to win and you could get somewhere without having to give up your paycheck. Then the last update hit. I cannot believe the level of greed it takes to raise the cap on stars. You just cut the legs out from under anyone who was farming for the legendary chest and didn't want to pay. Greedy is the only word and I can think of.

This game is awesome probably the longest I have ever played a game. It's constantly updated and features are added in regularly keep up the good work. Edit I had once given this game 5 stars I now have it at 1. The devs. Sold out and now this game is a pay to win all around. You can now buy what took me literally years to get. I will no longer be playing this game after 2+ years.

amazing game. instantly addicted and now play for an hour or more everyday Update: 8 months later and this has become one of my favorite mobile games of all time. To new players I say give it a chance. Great game. It doesnt require money to excel. However the devs recently improved the shops. If you do want to be p2p, you get much more bang for your buck. I now run my own guild and have made many friends in the process. Now I couldnt imagine not playing. First mobile game to have such an affect

UPDATE AS OF 11/25/21: Since the game was bought out by StillFront it has went to S**t. They have continuously changed how the game functions to increase their profitability while alienating the core player base. They changed what was a free to play game with pay to win benefit to a most pay to play game. This has caused a mass exodus of players and significantly impacted the games enjoyment. RIP

Changed my review from a 5 star to a 1. Latest update was a blatant cash grab that not only removes the competitiveness from the casual player but completely broke the guild war system. We were 30million power smaller yet the larger opponent was given the handicap. Will most likely be quitting this game after over 2 years of play time.

I've been playing more than a year, the new devs IO have hurt F2P players. The most sensible way to play now it to pay, and I don't feel that is a game I can support. Three years to max a hero, or 200$, or I can just uninstall.

updated: after the recent update, i find that it is become closer to being strictly p2w. i have only started less than two months ago and now there is an additional star rank. Loop of Endurement: 5/10 P2W: 6/10 Enjoyment as F2P: 8/10 It still can be played as F2P but will eventually require several days offline just to progress... or a bunch of Flooz. This is where it becomes P2W. You'll eventually end up paying hundreds or spending your entire life trying to make it to endgame. Fix this.

Changed to pay 2 win ... and in guild wars the game doesn't seem to know how to measure power correctly, so my guild unfortunately would face guilds millions in power ahead of us and even gives them a handicap due to the broken mismatching system.. Good luck I'm following the others out the door.
