If I could I would give this app -5 stars. The Favourite bug doesnt get fixed by logging out and logging back in. So few titles to read from. Doesnt even keep my bookmarks anymore so I lose where i left off oj different manga's. For the fact that so many people are premium users...you would think they would fix the issues in this app. It has high potential to be a great source of manga.

I cannot recommend this app in its current condition. As others have mentioned the manga from your favorite list simply disappear. Sometimes a fresh login helps solve this issue until it happens again when you try to access your favorites. However now logging in doesn't even work anymore

Please Crunchy, fix your app! I used to love it so much, and I still want to use it, but right now it's simply not practical. As a premium user accustomed to quick access to his favorites, I simply can't agree with how the app is right now. It's been over two months since the problems with the favorites started and nothing has been done about it. Give some love to your manga!

Judging from the current reviews I don't have to mention how the favorites is messed up (which can be fixed by logging out and logging back in). My big problem is most of the manga that were there are gone. Luckily they told me via email they are working on it but until they do this will unfortunately get two stars until it is fixed.

This app needs major fixing. Many have already pointed out the problem with the favorites system. But now I can't even login. I was already logged in and I was going to read a new chapter only available for Premium members (which I am) and it told me I had to log in. I tried logging out and logging back in, but I can't. Fix this ASAP!

It never saves my favourites or my bookmarks, so i always have to go and search for where I left off last time. Not a huge selection of things to read, but enough of my favourites so I'm happy enough. The reading experience itself is quite good. I just wish all the features worked properly on my phone.

As another reviewer mentioned, the favourites disappear but can be restored by logging out and in again. One other peeve is that the chapters are contiguous, without being divided into volumes. This makes it hard to know where you are in the series, especially if you are using MAL to keep track. I use this app, but these little annoyances make it a bit of a pain sometimes.

I like that I can read manga, that is wonderful, but this app cannot perform basic functions; such as favorites and bookmarks. I have logged out and logged back in (several times) and even factory reset my devices to see if that would resolve the issue. It does not. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this app.

Super unprofessional that this app has been broken for this long. I wish this could be my primary manga platform, but basic functionality like favorites being broken just makes it hard to remember where I was and what I was reading. I mean, it's probably a relatively simple bug fix, they just don't care. Crunchyroll absolutely needs to work on their communication.

I never rate anything on this store. So for me to even want to do this means it is either really bad or really great. The favorites section hasn't worked for.... a year? Nothing has been done to address this issue. I have since gotten a new phone and I am still having the same problem. After my membership is up I will be spending my money somewhere else.

The best manga on this app is Soredemo Machi wa Mawateiru dont @ me. A selection of actually legally licensed recent manga. I'm looking at you most other manga apps in this poorly regulated app store. The app ain't great though I've had many pages just not load. Some series are missing chapters presumably because they have been licensed for regular publication as opposed to simulpub. This should be made clearer in the app and ideally links to purchase the missing chapters should be provided.

This is basically a defunct app now. They haven't updated since last December, the update really broke basic features, and no one seems to even be reading the reviews, let alone responding. I hope no one buys a Premium membership specifically to use this app. Just read the mangas on the CR website and forget this ever existed because it's not worth the headache.

Edit: the workaround for the current problem seems to be to log out then log back in. all my favourites are back, at least until I exit the app. Used to love this app but, it deleted my favourites and wont let me add any. Before it occasionally showed the same page twice while reading but a simple reload fixed that so it wasn't that much of an issue. Deriously disappointed in the development of this app as the update that broke it didn't seem to add anything of value.

As others have said the favorites and bookmarks tend to disappear. I used to be able to fix that by logging out of the app then logging back in or uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it. That no longer works at least for me. I've used Crunchyroll for several years and mostly been happy with it but over the last several months it is becoming clear that maybe its time to walk away and be done with it. At this point I wouldn't recommend Crunchyroll to anyone I know

Is there really only 84 Manga to choose from in this!? or is that just me? nothing really good in the ones I'm seeing and not even the full things (missing chapters you can find in most other apps/websites.) I feel like I can go through all their content in 1 day. I've been a premium member of crunchyroll for years, so figured I'd give crunchyroll manga a try but it was just a waste of time to even download this app, already uninstalled. If I could rate less than 1, I would!

constant problems that take forever to be fixed. when the app runs well it is perfect with a good selection of manga. when it dosent chapters dont load properly,you cant add favorites ... Its very disapointing that crunchroll dosent take more care of their manga app. nearly 3months since posted origonal review still the same problems so downgraded to 1star

i use to love this app for manga. but it wont even let me log in any more saying my credentials failed even though when i went to log in on my computer with the same info it would not let me log in. Also on the desktop version there are three different sections for one of my mangs but the app only shows one? its very upsetting that i cant use this app.

Crunchyroll licences some great digital Manga on here. The problem is, I'm always getting issues with my favourites list now, as it keeps telling me there's nothing in my list, but when I try to add something, I get an "Error adding to favourites" message. I've tried clearing both the data and the cache and that temporarily fixed the issues... until the following day where I had the same issues, only clearing cache and data had no effect.

After the latest update all may favorites have been deleted and i can add them back, and you can't read alot of chapters, you just get a contiuneous spinning load symbol. Please fix these constant issues!

I really enjoy Crunchyroll's anime service but this app is awful. I've never seen an app get progressively WORSE with updates. Chapters don't load, pages load out of order or not at all, and the ability to favorite a series somehow broke. Absolutely shameful for Crunchyroll to have this thing on the app store.
