I would give a negative if I could. When I first started to use this app I didn't have good internet reception, when I finally did get a better router the app still skipped and had issues, only only good thing was the fact I was finally able to finish the movie I started watching which was stupid.

An acceptable app for free streaming, I use it after going through every other streaming app. The WORST AND CRAZIEST thing is that you simply play one app 3 times. I am more interested in muting the TV, missing a few minutes of my program, and checking back in. I am more interested in doing extra work to avoid the advertisement, then in lazily letting one ad repeat 3-4 times in one set. Seriously. It is not a lot to ask. Your advertisers should know that they are wasting money.

Like others mentioned, old shows originally filmed in 4:3 aspect ratio are cropped to 16:9. There is also hideous interlacing on these shows. No one took the time to deinterlace them. Would not recommend to anyone wanting to watch old shows.

All 4:3 shows are stretching to 16:9 and I cannot find a way to turn it off.

Would love to tell people I love this app, since it's a service I use quite often on several devices. However it crashes upon startup after the nougat update on the Nexus Player. I can't rate more than a 1 star until it's fixed.

Was working just fine on my Nvidia Shield Android TV until the latest update on the Shield. Now when I try to open the Crackle app it just crashes instantly. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled in hopes that would help, but still crashes. Also I am not fond of the auto playing content when the app starts up.
