Help slow the spread of COVID-19 by self-reporting your symptoms daily, even if you feel well. Join millions of people supporting scientists at King’s College London to help our health services by identifying: * How fast the virus is spreading in your area * High-risk areas in the UK * Who is most at risk, by better understanding symptoms linked to underlying health conditions You will contribute to advance research on COVID-19 in partnership with leading scientific institutions like King’s College London and TwinsUK, one of the most clinically detailed studies in the world. This app allows you to help others, but does not give health advice. If you need health advice please visit the NHS website at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ This app (formerly known as the Covid Symptom Tracker) is designed by doctors and scientists at King's College London, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals and Zoe Global Limited, a health technology company. If you would like to help out in this difficult time, then you can. Download the app and share daily your own status, even if you are well. With your help we can understand much better the situation up and down the country, how the disease presents itself to different people, and how it progresses. This is a new virus which the UK has never seen before. There are a wide range of symptoms, which differ between people. With your help we can understand better how the disease presents itself depending upon individual factors such as health and age. No information you share will be used for commercial purposes. There are two parts to the app: HEALTH INFORMATION You will be asked to share some general information, such as your age and some health information, such as whether you have certain diseases. SYMPTOM TRACKING We will ask you every day to let us know how you feel, so you can share your symptoms. We will also ask whether you have visited the hospital, what treatment you received there, and whether you have been tested for COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

The app is easy to use, but I haven't received reminders since changing my phone (S7 Edge to S7), even though everything is "on". There doesn't seem to be a way to raise this issue in-app. Update: I do get notifications now, but they're intermittent. Sometimes I'll get a reminder for a few consecutive days, then they'll stop for no reason.

Hi I am a returning user reinstalling the app. I went to report symptoms & was asked to update my profile with a few extra questions. The page hangs on the first set of update questions I left it for 6 hours to see if it would move to the next page but it doesn't. I reinstalled the app and the same problem occured. I am able to set up a new profile but would prefer not to for consistency. So at the moment I'm not able to report symptoms. Hope you can sort out this bug. Thanks.

Brilliant to be able to provide statistics and great to watch Professor Tim's updates. Well done to everyone who has contributed to the making of this tremendous app. It has occurred to me a few times how different all this would be without the technology we are fortunate to have now. I'm 76 so remember very well how things were way back...

Some feeback on what the boffins are getting from the app would be interesting. Update: More and more frequently I'm finding that I can complete my daily update and check it's still marked as 'today' before I go to bed, only to find the following morning that my last update is showing as 'two days ago'. It's confusing and annoying.

Been using for well in excess of a year and suddenly asking me for login password which I have asked for the reset link, and nothing has come through over an 8 hour period, hope this can be resolved quickly. Like being able to keep record of all the lateral flow tests in have done and also PCR tests too The ability to see the regional variations has been really valuable

Good app & makes you feel like you're helping in the fight. Wish they'd bring back reporting info since the Delta surge. Overall, I like the new layout but have 2 suggestions: make the test page default to the test-type tab that has most recent results & move "Done" to the top of the page so we don't have to scroll down to it.

It's very easy to use. It recognized I was not in my home state & recognized I was out of the country. It was seamless in the changes from one country to another. I want to be part of the solution to the pandemic, I want to understand the nuances of breakthru infections, community spread, air travel spread & long term reality/consequences of surviving Covid infections #LongCovid (Ive had 2 Covid infections 354 days apart & prior to vaccines. 1st time nearly killed me, spent 3 months in hospital)

It feels important to do this - if it can help in anyway. The app is easy to use, reporting takes seconds. The associated web page has reliable useful & interesting information, maps & stats. generated by scientists (not politicians or media). They're open that the app was setup in a hurry - so if you find a bug let them know. Your data will be used for the common good - by the people trying to combat Covid-19 - and not-for-anyones commercial profit. Over a year later, app is still useful :-)

Great app to report daily if you have any Covid-19 symptoms or have had any tests. I only have it 4 stars as it kept giving me yesterday's date. Had to contact customer services about it. I had to force quit the app. Afterwards I wouldn't get the daily reminders - because I needed to log in again. All a bit bothersome, but worth it to help scientists to track the spread of the illness. Update 05/09/21: Issue with wrong date (see above) was fixed months ago, so it's 5 stars today.

Great app. So easy to report every day and they're doing great work with the data, plus app users get access to some of the analysis. Tim's weekly videos are essential viewing. And they're now expanding it to other health conditions, which is brilliant news.
