I think this app is neat. It is free and helps me stay on track. Yes, it could be fancier, let me know more often where I am (like five minutes before I've reached my goal a little encouraging voice would be welcomed), it also doesn't seem to record my run properly with GPS (did it only once so far) but hey, it's free and keeps me running. I think that's pretty cool. Would recommend it of you don't want anything fancy.

Love it! It doesn't stick, records routes and timings fairly accurately and gives you access to all the 5k coaching free. They do ask for a small (voluntary) donation if you feel it deserves it. I haven't worked out how to sync my music yet but that doesn't bother me as I can play my Spotify tunes The only thing I don't like is that it sometimes tells me I've gone at a turtles pace 🤣🤣On the whole it does what it says on the tin and I'm starting my 10k training in 2 weeks.

Got this as a follow on to NHS Couch to 5k app. Though this app can take you from the start. Half way through at this stage. I thought I might struggle with the functional, less engaging narration when compared to the fabulous Jo Whiley or Sarah Millican on couch to 5k. But, I put on my now not so big girl pants & knuckled down, took to it just fine, now liking the lack of chat, loving the app mapping & stats. Like that I can add photos change the app when running on a treadmill & store stats.

Half way through the 5k program and I feel it really pushed me each workout. It eased me into the longer runs. At end of week 5 know that you'll be pushed from 8 to 20 min runs. I can't wait for the 10k program. I recommend this great free app. It's also nice to use the emojis to rate the run and for the app to tell me I was a fast bunny or slow turtle to push me to crush my next workout. You deal with the adds at the end which is nice. Also the verbal check-ins during the workout are nice.

  5. Kevin Iro-avatar

Great app but the progression may be too fast for some absolute beginners. I had to repeat a few weeks because the jump in running time was too much.

  6. Colin Ogle-avatar

    Colin Ogle

The only things it could do better would be reset its own sound volume to audible at session start and somehow help plan a route so you could return to your starting point more precisely in the allocated time

  7. Rebecca West-avatar

    Rebecca West

Time works, but map misses over half run so looks like you are runner way slower and then states you have a "turtle's pace" and runing at 2.0 when actually running around 5.5

  8. Mazlan Manaf-avatar

I think there's an error in your program. The week 3 sessions are short of 3 minutes compared to the original BBC/NHS couch to 5k program. This results in the week 3 distances being shorter than the week 2 distances, unless you run a lot faster than you walk. Please correct and issue an update, thanks.

It could have been a great app, but it crashes during the workout and you loose all the progress for that exercise.

I really like the intervals. They're mixed well. The GPS tracking sucks. It records my warmup walk then stops tracking and misses my entire run which screws my stats.
