There have been issues with delays when playing online where the piece won't move and the clock counts down. I've seen other users report this issue and it's frustrating. Until this is fixed it's not an enjoyable experience. I have deleted and reinstalled the app but it makes no difference. If this gets fixed,.it's a great app and game! Not sure if this issue relates to the Android 12 update???

This is a great app with a multitude of options to learn and play chess. The only big flaw is that when you register for an official game (representing your team or country) which often start 2 or 3 weeks later, even though you activate the 'out-of-time reminder', this doesn't work, so a lot of games get lost because members were not reminded their game had actually begun.

I was having no problems whatsoever, until the end of a game that was checkmate after my next move and over thirty seconds left on my clock, when all of a sudden the game, not my device or my connection, absolutely refused to make the move or acknowledge my input. It refused the move over fifteen attempts and allowed the clock to expire. Beyond frustration.

you have to play WHOEVER the next opponent, you can't block people have to play them. you can't win too many times or they'll close your account for "cheating" can't lose too many times or theyll close your account for "cheating" if you don't subscribe to their trash lessons they'll find a way to close your account, all whilst flooding the servers with chess bots to keep scores low anyway!

I love chess. And this is pretty good for said love. But my wall just got a new hole in it because I keep getting draws when I've clearly won the match. The opponent will be down to just their king and I'll have several pieces left, but it always draws the match.

The themes are great. I love them. But you need to change the bright green buttons with them or else they look out of place. I mean try using the glass theme and going back to home screen and seeing a BIG bright green button instead of a white or transparent button. It ruins the entire mood

I've been using this for quite some time and finally subscribed. It has helped me improved my game and find good opponents. One thing bothering me though is when I use it in unfolded Galaxy Fold2, the full screen doesn't function well especially during game analysis. Taps on the edges of the screen is not fully visible and responsive.

There's always people available to play and many different modes and content and features available for free and for pay. The "Balanced" game feature has been broken since I installed the app months ago, but I guess I'd give the app 5 stars without the broken feature, so I'll give it 5 stars even with this broken feature and hope they eventually fix it.

Turns are not time controlled. In a ten minute game your opponent can sit on their time and force you to wait when they know they've been beaten. Also cannot control the volume of the bad sound effects without going into for phones sound settings. No direct in-game sound control. This is common with these badly coded apps. There's a split second while a sound effect is playing that you can control volume but it's almost impossible to time it right.
