In case of an accident, a video starting 30 seconds before and stopping 1 minute after the event, is automatically saved by your ConnectedCAM Citroën™ and is downloadable via the app. The recorded film can be used with your car insurance in case of a dispute or an accident. After the onboard camera has been paired to your smartphone using wifi, the app is automatically turned on when the vehicle starts and will film your travels. Finally got connected by in putting the password then having to change it and it works well, but the only downfall is down loading of the videos takes ages due to the speed of Android WiFi connection there is a mini USB but could not find anywhere what its for if its another option to down load photos/videos then great yet to work that one , but will need an adapter lead now to plug in a laptop or touch pad maybe so give this app 3 stars 🙂

Doesn't always connect, auto share never works, download videos slow, better than nothing, but not much. Does get you an insurance discount. Next base much better option.

I struggled to get past the WiFi screen but eventually managed to get a connection by switching on WiFi+ on my Android phone. Without doing that the app didn't seem to recognise the WiFi connection. So I got it working, however I have to reconnect the WiFi every time I open the app which is not ideal & so that is why I only gave 3 stars. Can't comment yet on the reliability of recording.

Doesn't work! Cannot connect to the camera at all. Update to 3 stars 5/21. Will now connect to camera which is an improvement. Will fully download the video clip then you're not even able to view it, so not ideal if you needed the clip!!

Not reliable. Impossible to keep mobile connected to the dashcam. Dashcam does NOT seem to work very well, often missing days completely. Virtually useless. I have spent nearly 3 years trying to make it work with no success, garage also gave up.

It was great when it worked and it worked straight away the first time when I bought the car. I have now had to restore my phone and now the app won't connect to the camera. I can see the app has been updated as of 06/08/20 but since I got the car in May until now my phone also had system updates, so it seems like it may be that another update is due from Citroen. And I hope quick enough.

I've been trying to get this app working for weeks now with no luck. It rarely ever seems to connect to the camera through the app and even on the odd occasion that it does, it'll disconnect you within 30 seconds. Tried also with my ipad and that's almost as bad but does connect more often than the Android app but again, disconnects you after 30 seconds. You can view videos through the IOS app but if you try downloading them, half way through it'll disconnect you. Finally, got a usb cable and downloaded the videos to my phone. That still disconnected after 30 seconds but I still managed to get them.

This is a great idea however the app refuses to connect to my camera even after a reset and cannot get the app to get past the WiFi connection settings. Was excited to find it and now disappointed as it just doesn't work. There's a micro usb slot on it so will try to connect to that to see if that works.

Stopped working and wifi password wont work now either . Please sort it I have a nice trip coming up and camera is important. Now its stuck on the open settings button . And wont go further than that .I know this may seem minor but it's the sort of thing that will stop me buying another citroen and my last 4 cars have all been citroen . It's like how android auto dont work on my other halfs citroen c1 . Citroen couldn't get it to work on c1's so just gave up .

I have been trying to connect my phone for weeks now but it won't funny enough any android I have attempted to connect well not connect. It simply says no WiFi network how ever after attempting 3 different android phones my sister's iPhone connected straight away. Please fix this problem for Android users Citroen as I don't want to be buying an iPhone just to use this camera.
