Possibilita a ampliação da comunicação entre os diversos entes do Sistema CEP/CONEP e maior transparência das ações do Sistema para a sociedade brasileira e internacional. 

A CONEP tem como objetivo dispor sobre normas e diretrizes relacionadas à ética em pesquisas com seres humanos e também é responsável por gerenciar a rede de Comitês de Ética em Pesquisa - CEP.
