Very useful file & folder browser/editor. Android's native file handling is beyond abysmal. This lets you find/move/delete/organise all your files and folders. A well written and attractive app. It's one of the first apps I make sure is on a new phone.

apk STAY AWAY - WILL DAMAGE YOUR DATA! Deleting a file doesn't delete what you want, but a random file in the folder! I just spent an hour going through photos and deleted those I don't need, and when I was done I suddenly noticed ALL the files I deleted are still in the folder, but the file count did go down as expected. Now I lost important photos, and I'm left with all the junk I tried to delete!

test Probably the most useful ones of the latest bunch I've tried out. I have had a few in the past which added some extra features, but they don't seem to be available now. One thing would make it 5* and that is the choice of which folder to download Bluetooth files into. I'm needing to do a lot and having to copy and paste into the most appropriate folder. Either selecting where to save to, or being able to select all and move to (choose folder) would do the job. No real complaints, recommended!

  4. CG-avatar

toh talent team Good file manager overall, but does not support USB sticks to move or backup files to, as some other file managers do. Too bad, I'd give it 5 stars otherwise.

apk download I have used multiple file manager apps, provided by multiple phone vendors (including my current Samsung phone), as well as other apps available on the Play Store, and I keep coming back to THIS app as being consistently the easiest to use and the most capable. Cheers to the programmer(s) behind it.

bewertung One of the slickest file managers I've used. Intuitive, laid out well, does what's expected and doesn't crash. I wish all apps were this good.

google play Poor instructions. "Tap more on right hand corner". There is no "more"! Other instructions for enabling external SD are useless. Why so complicated to enable a function which is standard on all other file manages. 0/10 for ease of use. Uninstalling.

ios Great app got it when it was on sale and glad i did much better than built in file manager. Cant fault it wouldn't be without it👍

  11. Mike-avatar

Not going to be my choice as a manager with zero ability to change... pretty much anything. BUT! I suspect this will change down the road. Very stable. It's better to apply incremental adjustments that work rather than overload it and be full of flaws. What i really liked was the pc file transfer feature and how easily and flawlessly it functioned. I'll be checking back over time on this app. Perhaps in a year or so this'll be a full blown, highly customizable root explorer!

Absolutely Fabulous. This is far better than the one preinstalled with my tablet. Beautifully designed, with simple graphics and easily intuitive. I had a minor glitch and a 'help graphic' appeared to walk me through it. I will definately be checking first with this team of app developers for any and all of my app wishes, wants, or desires. And a really pleasant feature; this is the first File Manager to proactively notify me when i download allowing me control over where my files are.

It's hard to find a File Manager that can keep up with all the changes to an ever-advancing Android OS. This one is almost flawless and will not limit what you can save, move, rename, and otherwise organize quickly and efficiently. The drawback, though, is File Manager Pro will not allow you to open some files. It will give you messages like, "No app to open this file" even if you have an app that opens that file. Just a little micromanaging, there.

  19. Jessie-avatar

So many options, actions, and stats for every file type I've ever seen in my life, and THEN some. Truly incredible! I love the multi-cloud integration, but my favorite feature by far is the automatic notification of leftover folders from uninstalled apps. Seems to constantly be on the lookout for these, and allows me to clear them with one tap. Thanks so much for all the detail you put into this file manager, Dev! Best I've used!

  20. Sylvia Lee-avatar

    Sylvia Lee

The biggest problem is the recurring window that the app gives me to allow it to draw over other apps. If I said no, then it should stop asking. Some sections need to be reworked, such as having the bar in properties be able to rename the file, instead of needing a separate button to rename files, and automatically putting the file extension back in case someone accidentally erases it while renaming a file.

  21. Guy Rouillier-avatar

    Guy Rouillier

My primary use for installing a file manager was to access the entire file system, especially /mnt, since that's where VirtualBox mounts shared folders. Try as I might, I could not figure out how to access the root file system. I developed software for a living, and am experienced with Linux; I say this only to convey I have experience with software. So I don't know whats going on here. I installed another file manager, and instantly got access to the root file system. Won't mention which one here out of respect for authors. Other than that, the app has a nice UI, and if all you need to do is access file in the user file area - "main storage" - this app is fine.

  22. Thomas-avatar

The app is nice, but there is a important missing feature. With the storage analyzer there must be an option to see what folders in Others are using many storage. This way you can only see that they are using a lot of storage. Furthermore i personally dont like the UI that much, but thats not important. The features are important and they are alright

  23. Larry Vandewalle-avatar

    Larry Vandewalle

Allows sorting by size, name, date, etc. Allows searching out the largest files for easy deletion (when you're getting tight on space). Lets you move files easily from internal storage to your SD Card - and all with an easy, intuitive interface. I'd give it 10 stars, if that was possible. Two thumbs up, in any case! 👍👍

  24. Hamza Aktulum-avatar

    Hamza Aktulum

Just downloaded to see what a "pro" file manager looks like. Well, it's an average file manager, there certainly are better free and ad-free file managers out there with features like media rescan, backing up installed apps, hidden dual pane that's activated with swiping in addition to the features that this "pro" file manager has. By the way, I don't like the way it tries to force me to get permissions, just uninstalled. It's laggy, too.

  25. Nick ORourke-avatar

    Nick ORourke

I really like the usability of this file manager over many of the others I've used. Just seems to connect and share the information I'm looking for in a straight forward manner. From cloud folders using my accounts on one drive and Google to finding and transferring SD files I've not encountered any issues. I am using the pro version, not sure what differences there are between the free version, but I'm very happy with what I got right now. Keep up the good work and the updates and I'll keep it.

  26. Selley Spruell-avatar

    Selley Spruell

I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone. Has option to notify you when a file is downloaded. I turned it off but it kept appearing in my status bar whether it was on or off. The setup to the app happened every time I opened the app. These too things became very frustrating very quickly. I requested a refund. Let's see if the 100% money back guarantee is true.

  27. Carlos Sánchez-avatar

Only missing to be able to connect to a home NAS/server.

  28. Jacob-avatar

Cant see video lengths without opening the video. There should be an option to show video lengths (i.e., duration) rather than size. This is such an obvious thing...and while I'm on the subject, you should also be able to view audio lengths. Again very obvious but I figured I'd need to say that as well because it wouldn't be deduced

  29. Erick John Nobela-avatar

    Erick John Nobela

Great app and works just as described but would be better if we can customize it and arrange icons in start page the way we want. Also it would be nice if this app would have a dark theme. Locking the app should also give us the option to use alpha-numeric password instead of just numbers. Keep up the good work and I hope next update will add the options I mentioned. 😆

  30. Franklin Mahon-avatar

    Franklin Mahon

There are meny file managers but File Manager Pro is among the best, in fact it is better then some paid apps that I have used. I love the simplicity in its layout and the way I can access the system with ease. It is brilliant even the colour scheme which is easy on the eyes. I love it and it's free, absolutely free and very least I can do is say something nice about it. So this is me saying something nice about it. It's brilliant, I love it and a big thank you to the dude who created it.

Update, been using this app since I installed it on my tablet and Blackberry phone, with no issues, crashes or glitches of any kind. Can create fies for music artists, txt files e.t.c. access SD card with ease and move things aroundas well as many other operations and function's. An all round great app to have on your device.

  33. Joel Thompson-avatar

This app does have a solid privacy policy. when it comes to software, I believe if you arent paying for the product, then you are the product, so I'll buy this instead of downloading and trusting a random (free) file manager with a creepy privacy policy. (a word to the developer) in the future please add themes, thats a huge bonus for file managers these days ( :

  34. Justin Case-avatar

    Justin Case

App is fine. Paid for pro version to support the developers...But after my 3rd use had a pop up window telling me about how hard they work and was given 3 choices. Disliked It, No Thanks or rate of 5 stars. I had to make a choice to get into app window! PLEASE let me Choose RATE LATER! I believe in these reviews and rely on them. Sad that only 1 in a 100 review their free apps. APATHY and this begging or manipulation only adds to it. I 'Disliked' that.

I asked app to move files to a created folder, but app either lost files or moved them somewhere other than specified. I created a folder, but folder doesn't exist and app never returned a success or error message. Google Photos found a few, but the long gifs were reduced to a screenshot and all of the affected files had the year date code changed from 2017 to 51297. Don't bother using this on a LG v20 with Android 8.

  37. Vincent Y-avatar

delete file takes age, when viewing iamge, you can not delete it, have to back to the thumbnails and delete. After one file operation, screen will refresh and redraw then lost your focused places which is anoying. The file list view is a little too big, can reduce the size a little bit to show more content. the icons on the start page is somewhat tooamy colors.

  38. John Turner-avatar

    John Turner

Clear UI makes good use of colour. Shows thumbnails for range of file types, provides usual sort options, can access cloud for 4 popular services & is able to open a range of file types. 2 minor issues: 1) Video displayed small. Option to maximise but it sets screen to landscape, regardless of video's aspect ratio. Better to "open with" & select your native viewer. 2) Animated GIFs appear animated as thumbnails (good) but open as black screen. Need to "open with" & select your native viewer.

  39. Shantanu Pawar-avatar

    Shantanu Pawar

You should bring different themes like dark and etc in the file manager. Also colour combinations like in MX Player. Its a good feature. Other than that i think app is good. Feature of adding cloud storage is awesome. But show uploading, copying and moving percentage and animation of filling the bar inorder to help the users from getting a better idea about the performed operation. Also add a feature of adding multiple accounts of same drive. Also use the Dropbox API App Console to apply for production status.

  40. Lord Belial-avatar

    Lord Belial

Honestly, I got this app for free when the play store had some apps marked way down. As frequently as I use this app, I honestly believe this app deserves praise. It is so easy to navigate and offers all the functions I need opposed to the terrible "Files" app that came stock on my phone. I'm legit happy I got this free, and if I lost it somehow.. I'd undoubtedly buy it

  41. Jean-Yves Cowan-avatar

    Jean-Yves Cowan

The organization is very convenient. However the create new file command needs to be in the options list alongside the delete and rename and so on, because the create new file command requires the user to swipe the page to get the plus sign graphic to appear in order to start the create new file command to appear. The rename interface is very good and useful. Overall a great program for a cheap user such as I who would'nt pay for anything.

Love it. I have some notes: 1- When trying to move a file to another folder but refused due to have the same file with same name!! It should to ask me if i want to replace it or not. 2- Need a different theme beside the original one. 3- Favorite folders should show up when moving OR coping something. Thanks a lot..

Every time I download a file, this file manager app does not show the file. Why does this app not update the list of files to show new files when a new file is downloaded? It is so frustrating. The new file is shown as a recent file, and I am allowed to open the containing folder, but the very file is not shown in the godforsaken listing therein. I have never seen anything so worthless in my life.

  44. A Google user-avatar

heavy, laggy, at least it's user friendly. i tried to move some files to my SD and it duplicated them in one different folder for each file (there was 568 files) and the original files were in the original folder too, even tho im sure that im selected the "move to" option. i tried to move again and it said "file was existed" and nothing happened. i downloaded another program and could move the files normally and delete the folders created. even if this was free, it may not be your best option.

  45. JoeySC Darkrai-avatar

    JoeySC Darkrai

After constantly being badgered about doing exactly to a t what it wanted in trying to move files from my device onto my SD card, it refused to work. Work harder to fix these things, because I won't ever use this app again. And I resign any consent of personal information and or data usage collected here today in the hour I wasted trying to move said files.

  46. POLLYFODDER-avatar

Have made improvements in the past but NOW since end Aug 2019 they have stuffed up the media player (video and audio). Cannot get out of them via backspace! FRUSTRATING, and they dont answer their emails. Slowest app in cyberspace for transfering files too. NOT GOOD, NOT GOOD AT ALL. ☠ Email listed below is not valid.

I've only just installed this app but am quite pleased with it so far. It seems the UI is intuitive to use. After using for a longer period of time I will update this review but unless something major goes awry I don't expect to downgrade the rating below a 4 star (if I downgrade it at all).

  48. J Barrena-avatar

    J Barrena

File Manager Pro - A decent, easy to use file manager but it lacks privacy features. App provides previews of documents, videos, or photos one may not want others to see, so it requires one to be judicious when handing their phone over to others. If it had a hide & lock document and folder feature to protect your privacy this app would rate a five.

  49. Peggy Honingford-avatar

A neat, and visually helpful, file manager. It has occasionally (and inexplicably) failed to create, delete or move an item, forcing me to find a workaround; but it's still miles better than the native application.

  51. W. Triggs-avatar

    W. Triggs

Despite the nice interface, there are far few features to fulfill my needs for the price. The lack of connecting to a local NAS device, no split screen directory and the lack of FTP and SMB was very disappointing. I would be willing to pay $10 to $15 if this app had those features.

  52. Preston Hyde-avatar

this file manager is fantastic 👌 it comes in handy quite regularly I use it to regulate and maintain my file manager that I used to organized my other file manager and save all my progress using this file manager which is absolutely essential in order for me to save my PDFs to a floppy disk and fax them directly to myself so I can email them to me... keep up the good work my dudes. ya boy P-Rad

  53. No Name-avatar

The network share feature gives read/write access of your entire sdcard to the local network without a password or a warning of no password. There's no option to set one later and it sends data over http with no encryption. Beautiful feature and a reason to buy the app if it followed bare minimum security for home use.

  54. Ken Bennetts-avatar

    Ken Bennetts

Nice interface. I like the features except no ability To view network. Particularly my NAS. I would give 5 stars if this was the case. I will be uninstalling and going back to my usual file Manager which has this facility although it does not handle cloud storage as well as this program.

  55. Darrell Frappier-avatar

It was ok, but now it's barely working. First time start of the app it wants me to give it permission to show over other apps and won't let me do anything. So I have to close it and start again to see any files. Then it lets me see downloaded files about half the time. I've decided to remove it.

  56. V S NARAYANAN Iyer-avatar

This File Manager is easy to use and clearly shows the different types of files, plays the music and video files and opens the document files for viewing. I am still testing this app, and from what I gather so far, this file manager is really worth purchasing it. My thanks to the developers.

Its smooth and feature full. The UI is easy on the eyes too. 👍 Minor Issue: When copying file, the progress indicator does not change from 0%. The file copies in the background but just wont change from 0%. Theres should also be a notification that is in status bar until task is finished.

Confusing to use. Translation issues or a bad speller worked on UI. Can't tell where my sd card and internal storage start or end. Impossible to move or copy files into hidden files. Even though Show Hidden Files option is selected, no hidden files revealed when taking actions. Cannot cut-and-paste files.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA!! I used this app to move files from a USB stick to my TV box's SD card. It took its time moving the files but all the copied files ended up having zero byte size and hence, inaccessible. App has a nice looking interface but is not really functional.

I keep getting the same error pop-up on my screen as it flashes on my screen for roughly two minutes every time I move a file or delete something within the app the error code is as follows: Developer warning for package "com.tohsoft.filemanagepro.v2" Failed to post notification on channel "null" See log for more details

No cut and paste. Progressbar bug. When delete somthing, it left some inviaible file. Overall I feel it's buggy and unfinished app. When I email to developer, no answer at all. I found a better app and I'm done with this app.

  69. BluSpectre-avatar

It's not annoying and bloated with ads, thankfully! This app has a number of smooth yet simple integrations and features, like the ability to directly interact with your Google Drive and use a bridge to connect your ohone with another device to transfer files.

Great work by the developer. You reading this, same way you go running to blogs, forums, any social media tool whenever you want your complaint shared read and feel all gooey and glitty inside cause you feel you've made a difference, don't be an a... and also take time to give thumbs up, props, positive reviews and comments etc. No one should be a more severe judge of your actions than you yourself, because you and only you know the very core and essence of your soul and conscience. Be on point!

This application works fine, But..The U.I. "User interface" is really "Blah Looking!" AKA: Ugly U.I. It would be nice to see a different LQQK for this App. Like a new U.I. Design. Or make it where the user can change app. to "Dark Mode." That would be a nice feature to add to add to this application. I like this app. much better than the orig. Android files app. ( :

I was using PC file transfer option and selected the files in Camera folder to transfer to pc and internet got disconnected while the process was in progress and then I see all the camera images are gone and each photo shows 0kb size, those files are very very important to me but this stupid app ruined everything for me.

Doesn't recognize the brand-new TF-class 64GB SD card I put in my tablet, which was the entire reason why I bought this app was to move stuff between the card and my PC, and the card doesn't even show up in storage analysis or anywhere else in this app.

File Manager Pro is Very Useful For Me As I Have Turned on Notify New File, Which Helps To Give Me Access To The App's I Download To Sideload On My Android Mobile And Also Helps Me To Find The Smaller Apps The Browser Downloads So Quickly That In The Browser You Don't Get A Chance To See The File Identity.

Why is copy/paste so difficult? I select a file, and click the 3 dots and select copy. It says tap a folder to paste. So I hit the back arrow to go to the folder I want, but there is no option to paste anywhere in the folder menu, or once in the folder either.....

I really like this file manager. Tried quite a few over the years and have stayed with this one. If I could 'move' to my cloud drive instead of just internal storage, I'd definitely give it 5 stars.

I've had this app on 3 phones now. The paid version is worth it. It's a must have for me. None of the file management stock apps in phones stack up to this one. This is so easy to use and organized that I even use it to upload photos to my cloud.

Very nice looking, with easy to use interface. Only problem I find, when I connect a USB flash drive through OTG cable. I cannot get access to external storage. If this access is possible 5 stars rating will be given. Using Xiaomi Mi5pro (128gb internal)

great app TBH, got it when it was free and so glad I did, I ACTUALLY took the time out to rate this because they took the time to be generous and offer it to people like me, good karma. what goes around DOES come back around's rare, but it does still happen...

Used this app to encrypt several files and now there's no option to decrypt them. Also it is continuously asking for permission to draw on top of other apps, which is not needed for a file manager to work correctly.

Outstanding file manager, easy to use, UI easy to understand and function in. I am sure that there are others in the market that do more if needed But for day to day file management works exactly the way it needs to

Ui needs a few features to make this comparable to others. Scrolling up and down didn't show the right hand cursor to show how long the page is. When searching, would be great to be able to select certain files after searching but all you can do right now is tap and open

Very nice. What differentiates this one from similar apps is that the PC remote access is a complete wifi transfer apllication, not just a simple FTP server like many other apps. I would like the port number to be randomized each time it is launched though.

It's nice to find an app that does what it's meant to do while being predictable and thorough. Of course, this app still surprised me by allowing me to interract with my PC using my phones' ISP address. No plugging in or creating an unnecessary, unused group. Thanks.

On my Note 8 w/OREO seems to be GREAT so far..meaning as glitches😋 Will update if any problems. Would be nice if reviewers would include phone model & current Android version. And contact Developers before rating with Stars & bad reviews if they haven't tried to trouble shoot any problems first. To get an ACCURATE rating!!!!! Nice thing about Note 8 is there's rarely any obtrusive pop-up ads...just a few regular ads for monetizing 😁

Don't know yet: newly installed. Interface looks great. Just want to let you know that COMPRESS is a verb. It is not correct to name a folder 'compress' unless you're offering an archiving/file compression function. EDIT - Too much poor English. You need a proof reader /editor. 'App doesn't support open file type'... it's an epub, and another basic file manager gives a choice of app to open with just fine. Needs development.
