Just tried out the trial, immediately went to the pro version. Nice job you guys. One question/suggestion... My USB camera has a zoom button as well as a snap button. I was able to configure the snap to take photos, but i wonder if implementation of the zoom button, would be device specific.. If not, might be a good thought to look into it. Great app though. Thanks for the hard work!

apk This application does not provide image adjustment (saturation, brightness, etc) for Webcams. Why is that???? It may be for IP cameras but not for Webcams. These adjustments have no effect in the image. I can not adjust the i,e. the brightness of my Webcam. I thought this was possible, that is why I paid for the application. I can not give it a better use than I gave to the free app., that is why I give a 3/5 stars.

Lots of us in the camera or video field want to use this app for the purpose of using our phones as monitors and it would be great if you could add something like this for us people Heck even if it was a paid upgrade it would still be a amazing deal to have this be the best USB monitor for our cameras!!

Dropped frames. Im using a galaxy s10e with my sony a7s to capture 4k and I thought it was perfect but I now notice there are frequent dropped frames. With that flaw I still love this app as I can monitor on my phone with its amazing screen using my El gato 4k camlink.

Been using USB Camera Pro in my car with a Sony Xperia Android phone and is working great. Took a while to get working as not all OTG cables are genuine OTG cables it seems, but once that was resolved all is good. My only issue has been the checkbox asks "Use by default for this device" appears everytime you open the app even though I checked it.

Works with my samsung tablet running Android 9.0 . Seems a little buggy with the note 10. The only way I've gotten it to work is to power camera on and hook everything to phone , then restart phone and then the app.

I bought a 21 inch HP Tablet (Slate 21) some years ago (2013), but HP did not update Android beyond 4.4.2 so the device became useless as new versions of apps will not work on 4.4.2. I recently bought an hdmi to usb video capture dongle - £9.99 on ebay. To my surprise USB Camera Pro runs on 4.4.2 and handles this dongle. So I now have repurposed the Slate 21 to be an hdmi monitor (using the hdmi to usb dongle. socket). Plugging in Google Chromecast dongle works well for both video and audio. It is very helpful to have so many configuration possibilities. I am very pleased with this app. The only problem I have is that after casting one program the next time I try casting a different program there is no audio unless I reboot the tablet and reboot the chromecast. Is there a configuration change I should make?

Be careful! The app needs access to internet to check the licence even though the dev didn't find that to be important enough to mention. After a week, I wasn't able to use the app because the device does not have nor it's supposed to have internet. I've wrote to the dev asking for a solution but he wasn't able to provide one. I can't believe that this app has cost me $6 and I am not even able to use it. I've asked for a refund, but still no answer from the dev.

I bought the app on the 28 of October and I took 5 hours on trying to configure it and it gave me a huge amount of problems even though I tried to connect it with my note 9 and it wouldn't detect it.

This is a great app and well thought through, particularly if you take note of the comments for suitable cabling and use a suitable spec phone. My only concern is the lack of response from the developer when sending emails to the advertised email address. Maybe it is incorrect and is why I am raising it in this forum. Great app, 5 stars! We're using it for FPV for a small drone, and started out with the free version, and were so impressed we had to buy the Pro version. It works perfectly, thank you! We love the 'Cardboard' view for FPV goggles, which is a really economical way to get into this way of flying. The only "glitch" we have is trying to use a really long (~10-12ft) USB extension between the Easycap and the phone. It detects the Easycap OK, and opens the app, but we always get a screen freeze after about 10-15 scan lines, and then a toast saying "Please re-plug the device" (more or less). If we safely eject and then re-plug the Easycap, it goes back to that same thing every time. Not sure if there is anything we can do? This is not a huge problem though - we have it working fine and reliably with a shorter USB extension. Thanks again!

Best app of its type I have found to date. Top marks to the developer who responds to suggestions promptly. Tip: Download the standard version first to check compatibillity. Otherwise 1st rate app with a lot of useful features enabling it to be used in a variety of different ways (See READ MORE). For the price of a cup of coffee its a no brainer!

Initially: Can't get EasyCap to work. I had it working on the non-pro version, now I can't get it working on either. edit: Hi, thanks for responding. It doesn't work on my Honor 9 either. Same problem. I can select the easycap in devices, then it asks me to reinsert the device, and when I do that, it doesn't do anything. edit: Great support! This is a really good app and the only one I could find that properly works with several external video sources. Also tons of options to customize for your setup and needs. The only thing I wish it would do would be to try and reconnect the RTMP streaming when the cell or wifi connection temporarily gets lost. In those cases it throws an error "Can't connect to RTMP server" and stops. I wish there would be an option to let it keep trying when the cell or wifi connection is back.

3 stars... I'm using a USB capture dongle with this and the app wont show YUY2 colors, 720p res, etc. in the device setup, even though the device supports it. This is a minor nuisance, as for me it only affects the input delay from the device, so it's OK if I have another screen. However, what's annoying is that the Color Adjust menu is read only. You can't switch off Automatic mode (srsly) so you can't fix the contrast. I'd love it if you fixed these, and aside from that it's a great app. 👍

I purchase this app to support the work and to remove the ads. I started using this app to record video from my old but professional camcorder without having to use tapes. Gone are the tapes. Camera output component. I attached a device to convert to HDMI and then the video capture to USB. However, when I try to edit with Resolve audio out of sync. The video was recorded at non standard 39 frames per second and causing issues to edit and sync. I need a fixed std frame rate. Thank you.

I would like to give this app 5 stars but it's coming up short on certain things. In VR mode I cant read text, its always blurry, not sure why and there's no obvious way to make it not sharp. I also get light saturation sometimes and nother times a dark picture. These don't happen with the on board camera. Other than that I like it. Get rhese things rifht so I can love it please

Really good app for connecting an HDMI capture device to your phone via USB. Now I can use my phone as a larger and much nicer display for my DSLR. I love the record feature, but wish I could switch frames to a solid number, not variable. This goes for bitrate too, I just want a min and max bitrate, if I say 10Mbps, that's what I want.

I want to this this app 5 stars. It does work, but what I can't get right is the settings. I am using a tablet in my car and have a video capture device like easycap. I have it setup to turn on when my car goes in reverse. It works great as long as I have the app open. I want it to open when I put the car into reverse and go away when I take the car or if reverse. Recommendations for the software settings? I have tried the options in General settings, such as start service when connected or start service when start up and disconnect when signal lost. Nothing works.

good. better than expected. people with bad reviews more than likely have older or weak or over loaded devices becausr the app does exactly what it says. my only issue is that you cant use the phones built in camera at all, nor on their dual cam app. itd be good for picture-n-picture but they dont claim to have that feature so is not a complaint but a suggestion.

Ok so this app didnt work, then suddenly it did then again today it stopped working. My setup, Sony fdr x3000 4k action cam. Elgato camlink 4k adapter. It all connects finds the usb brill, i even get audio mic pick up from the camera. On first plug in i get for a moment the video picture then it freezes.. audio mic works still just a frozen picture. I had it all working in the evening video was showing, went to bed woke up to test and back to frozen pic.. no idea why if its a capture card issue

EDIT: updated to 5 stars - Does exactly what it says, one of the few apps that works with USB cams in Android 10. Make sure you are using full speed USB3 spec DATA cables/ adapters and not just charging cables (like I was) otherwise frame rate at higher resolutions will be really bad. Works @ 1920x1080 24p from Sony A7III using Magewell gen 2 and a QGeeM USBC hub for power and data.

working well but it's compressing the pictures into kb's which is killing the quality of the photo. Better it should allow the actual camera image capability to store the photos. Otherwise its a good app with lot functions you can explore and use it. Please improve the photo screenshot size to 2304*1536 and 1920*1080

Really nice application. I am using it as a dash cam and it works great. I only wish it had the ability to designate maximum folder size for stored videos so that it doesn't completely use up all the space on my device since it doesn't have a separate SD card slot.

This is great. Please add a gps speed option to calculate car speed. That would make it perfect. 12/10 - how to show the GPS speed in mph ? 12/10 - developer is so fast to add features, this is a great app. Thanks.

It is a good app. I used it without any problem. Recently I reset my Samsung Note10+, then after that the usb camera didn't work. It said "Unable to grant usb permission". Can you help? Or you should have a support page in English. Thanks.

Very bad picture, I am using this app which is the paid version for backup camera on my phone and its very fuzzy video. I tried different setting but nothing change. I wish I could upload a video or snapshots to show. Is there anything I can do to improve it?

Completely wasted my clients time with this app. Sound check was fine. Started recording thinking everything by was fine and when done there was no sound at all for ten takes of footage. Recorded another test video directly afterwards and the sound suddenly WORKS but at the WRONG fxxkn time! You guys owe me money?

So far only app that works with my Huawei Mate 20 X! Only thing missing is the option to detect a Wi-Fi connected endoscope model. I purchased the pro to support this developer! Edited my rating to 5 stars as the Dev was right on top of my questions!

When this app, USB Camera Pro, stopped working on my Pixel XL after it updated to Pie, I contacted the developer about it and he immediately replied with questions about my OS, particulars about my phone, and displayed a keen interest in why his app no longer worked. He bought a Pixel XL to discover why mine quit working. He contacted me several months later with a patched app that now works perfectly. No other USB camera app comes close to his in features and function.

Good app for in car head unit with USB camera , only problem is if I don't get the car on the internet , after a few days it says license problems , reconnection to net sorts but a bit of a pain , also sometimes doesn't pick up memory card so is filling up internal memory .

Purchased the Pro Version. Run on a Galaxy 6 Active. Lollipop 5.1.2. Purchased a Monster Cam endoscope and case from Amazon. Set up Pro version Resolution to 1280 X 720. And I get that res. This Pro version is beautiful. Nicely designed. Well thought out. And I like the fact the designers take the initiative to answer compliants. I rate this app a 5 plus. For Android I find this the best app. Thank you for making this. Your tops in my book !! Oh the $ 4.95 for no ADDS. Well worth it.

Good solution for viewing a USB camera. I'd love to see the adjustment settings (brightness, contrast, exposure, etc.) saved instead of having to set them every time you run the app. Also, the sliders for adjusting these settings could be about twice as long and with more vertical space between them so as to make finer adjustments possible. Thanks!

This app is perfect for what I need and solved a problem I had creating a costume prop. Connected this app to a Microsoft lifecam 3000 using OTG. The lifecam 3000 along with a wide angle lens was built into my prop mask which I could not visabily see out off. I integrated google cardboard VR inside the mask and emulated the real world in VR. This helped me see where I was walking. Thanks for the app!

I'd give a 5 if the app didn't fail to change the recording size from the default 640x480 with my Logitech c920. Otherwise it's a great app and it performs excellently. EDIT: Size change button still doesn't work properly. The menu doesn't snow up at all on my Google Pixel XL. However, the camera's displayed resolution can be changed with the addition of your preferred resolution setting. This has allowed me to record at the native 1080p of the camera. Thank you.
