The lock itself is great but the app is wonky. The repose is slower than August smart lock and other one from my old apartment complex. I can't get rid of the Tips each time the app starts and it's very annoying. I tried to do self check following the instructions but it's not doing anything.

Takes FOREVER to load. Like 3 minutes. I could walk to the door by then. Plus, that's when it even connects.

Just purchased and installed. Overall I am pleased with the lock itself however the app is a poor complement to an otherwise decent piece of equipment. The app itself could use some refinement ASAP, especially with connectivity even when equipment is installed correctly with strong wifi in close proximity to equipment. Also, good luck with getting a hold of their customer service over the phone if you require any type of assistance.

The lock itself is good, but the app is very poor. Notifications arrived late after 10 to 30 minutes, even more. Cannot change date format in report, logs. Notifications logs and unlock logs are separated, there is no consolidated view for all events. Synchronisation is slow and not realizable. Not good for security morning purpose - I had to install other door sensor in order to be able to track all door activities.

Good lock. Terrible Wi-Fi AND Bluetooth connectivity. I own the pro with the additional Bluetooth hub. It's infuriating when all my other apps work perfectly fine except for this one. My lights turn on when I tap my phone. My lock - times out connection or error. I have to physically walk downstairs and by the time I get there, I've manually unlocked the door before the app ever connects - regardless of whether I try Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Not a good app at all. Shoulda bought a dumb regular lock.

Revised 8/21 I don't understand how this app gets worse with each update. I recommend trying utec over this lock.it can't be any worse. Slow response time, integration with Alexa also only works once in awhile. Logs take forever to update, seem to have to manually force a log sync . The lock itself is ok, takes forever to connect to WiFi when you open app. Disappointed, but this is the best fingerprint lock this far.

The app is not the greatest (confusing language and unpolished graphics) but what really brings the experience down is the secure link (wifi) adaptador. It's extremely unreliable, probably due to the low power consumption constraints.

Communicating between the lock and the app is hit and miss. It never connects right away and if it does connect it usually takes several tries before it will.
