It used to be one of the best apps until the recent update, going from "CM Security" to "Security Matter". What used to be a free security app that was simple to use became such a chore to use, especially with all the pop-up ads that can't be closed unless the ad timer runs out. They take up the entire screen, but only appear on a small strip at the bottom of the blank background that it displays. Is that really necessary? And they pop up after roughly every 30 seconds? And aside from that, it looks like everything has a fee to use. Then there's the private browser, which can't even be used without one of those timed ads popping up after clicking on a new page. What was wrong with displaying non-invasive ads like before the update? Is there a way to use the older version? Because I'm really tempted to find an older version instead.

Subscribed in December asked for a refund within hours of getting this horrible subscription. To be completely ignored. But wasn't expecting much when you have an app that is just filled with nothing but fluff. It doesn't delete any junk files. Slowed my phone down. Made it so I couldn't answer my phone calls. Each update the OS digresses, and their CS gets worse. I use to like this app at one time..but it's a total joke now. Don't Download this app!!

I really liked the older version and would give that a 5 star rating. The current version has too many annoying popups and keeps wanting to exert control over things I would rather do myself. Also, I believe it is now using more of my battery. All I want is an anti virus application and memory cleanup, not all the rest of it. That is why I am uninstalling this application.

I was using this to protect my device but I no longer can. Ads in apps are a fact of life but for me, when they are political... and it appears biased, one way or another...is truly disturbing. Over the last few days it seems like every other ad is about Trump or the elections and I refuse to use any app where political ads are "forced" on the user, especially considering the time we are in now.

For the last few weeks I've swiped my screen to open my phone and there's a screen that says Security Master has automatically scanned my phone. When I touch "got it" it takes me to an ad. When I try to "X" the ad it won't let me out right away. Even the home button won't get me free. Very inconvenient when I'm trying to get to an important notification. I just missed an important call because I couldn't get out of Security Master's automatic scan. Last straw. This app just keeps getting worse.

It's an ok app, but of course you have the excessive amount of ads that everybody already mentioned; also I'd like to be able to lock/unlock all apps at once with one click (I'm not talking about "enter password once to unlock all the apps", you still have to go to each individual app to lock/unlock it). Also noticed some lag and overheating on my Note 8. Graphics and animations are cool but I prefer real results.

It's ok, I guess. I mean it does it's job, but the adds are very annoying sometimes, especially when you have app lock and you try to quickly respond to a message and then a video add pops. Also, the notifications from this app are just too much. Some of them do help, like when I install an app it's nice to let me know of it's ok or not, but some of them are annoying too. Don't get me wrong, it does what I got it for, I mean it did save me from a virus, but that happened once and the notifications and the adds pop all the time.

I tried to use this app with the best intentions. However, as soon as I installed it, my phone started to behave unusually in that, it began to lag a lot and slowed down to a snail's pace while using the internet. The app lock doesn't work either. And although it claimed it needs usage permissions for it to work properly, it still didn't function correctly after I enabled the usage access in settings. It kept giving me the same message stating that I had to enable the app to use it but I did! 😔

The ads and this app just takes control of my phone, everything just started popping up and covering up whatever it is you need to do. Very distracting app. instead of just working in the background, it pushes you to purchase or go for their paid products. Damn I didn't even have the chance to see what's in the app when everything just started popping up! Didn't take me 5 minutes to decide on removing the app regardless of how good the app may be, I just don't effing care at that point.

I really have no idea how well it works, but I'm only giving it 2 stars because whenever I would press my home button the screen would flash on ad off so fast that I couldn't swipe to gain access to my phone. After I was lucky enough to regain access, I immediately deleted this app. When a program causes weird activity on my phone, I avoid it like the plague.
