  1. Kati Texas-avatar

If you like these sort of math and logic puzzles, this is a good collection of old school gems with no BS. There's a variety of games, and multiple ways to play each game such as variable board size or difficulty. Clear instructions on each individual game. I learned some new ones! It's not fancy looking, but that's part of the charm. 😁

  2. luke john s right-avatar

It's a great mind puzzle for those who don't know it's a collection of 39 types of puzzles, meaning 39 puzzles that are RNG generated and not just 39 levels. I think I saw a comment here that I agree on saying, "If I were to choose one puzzle collection to be able to play for the rest of my life it would be this one" and it sums up how good the game is. Well, of course more puzzles would be fun but I think it has infinite replayability even as it is right now. Note: It has instructions ingame

  3. Charlotte Volz-avatar

I've been using this app for years. It's one of the first things I install to a new phone. It has a huge selection of logic based puzzle games, while still being a clean, simple app. Some of the instructions and controls can be a little confusing, but most of them are great.

  4. ExplosivaX-avatar

I find it a fun game collection, i love doing puzzles and there is a wide sellection of diffrent ones and you can pick and choose. Tho i do find it rather annoying that with some of the puzzles when you solve it the screen flashes and its very annoying and doesnt really make me wanne continue the puzzle if I have to stare at a flashing screen everytime I solve a puzzle, wish there was a way to turn that off.

  5. Mand Season-avatar

Uses hardly any battery, doesn't run in the background, never reminds/nags, takes up little space... and is engrossing. Obviously some puzzles will be of more interest but that's down to personal taste. All that I've tried work fine and I love the almost infinite customisability. Personally I'd like a colour scheme other than b&w; a timer (optional) to see how long I take; and sound so I can be sure my tap registered - but I don't miss these enough to want the app any bigger so I'm happy!

  6. Steven Richmond-avatar

One of my favorite apps ever, I recommend this to everyone. It does exactly what it sets out to do, and does it perfectly. All the puzzles you could want, no irritation, plenty of options. Great to pick up and play for a few minutes, or to relax for an hour. I've used this on every phone I've had for years. I can't stress enough how much I love this collection.

  7. Megalogue-avatar

This app is exceptional. A large collection of quality puzzles, each with its own procedural generator (so effectively INFINITE puzzles), and all 100% completely free, with no ads. If I had to choose one source of puzzles to use for the rest of my life, this would be it. Amazing work.

  8. Thomas Quinn-avatar

On the downside the graphics are from a past decade and sound pretty non existent, but that is an advantage in a way keeping it light weight. Now for the plus. You get about 30 of some of the best puzzle games out there. For all that it looks simple it's all executed and each game had variations and different levels of difficulty. Some puzzles are sudoku like but better and others area completely different like a mastermind clone. The only other downside is that it has stolen so much free time

  9. Sara Campbell-avatar

One of my favorite apps. I've had it through multiple phones and recommended it to family and friends. It's streamlined, easy to use, customizable, and infinite. I can't say enough good things about Simon Tatham's Puzzles. If you like puzzle apps, get this one.

  10. Jonathan Palmer-avatar

    Jonathan Palmer

No ads. 30 to 40 puzzles with varying difficulties + customisable options. Dark mode. 5 stars doesn't do this amazing game justice. Kept me busy for hours and hours and hours. Thank you Simon :)

  11. Nic Penner-avatar

Excellent, free, no ads. I had been playing this collection on Windows and was delighted to learn about the mobile version. Some games like Mines are clearly better suited to a mouse, but all accomodate touch / small screens with the zoom feature.

  12. Michael de Nijs-avatar

    Michael de Nijs

Great and addicting collection of logic games. Infinitely replayable because levels are randomly generated. Suggestion for update: add option to disable the visual clues (red numbers and lines for example) that indicate an error, to level up the challenge!

  13. Johannes Stenman-avatar

    Johannes Stenman

Tons of simplistic, mathematical puzzle games that are pleasantly ad free. The games are apparently ported from older web games, reflecting in some controls feeling a bit clonky and the graphics being very simplistic. That being said, it should work on every phone and does not take a lot of space. In addition, even if some of the games might not feel that engaging to you, with this amount of variations there should be at least some that will satisfy your puzzle needs. You really should try it.

  14. Alan Carter-avatar

Love this app; loads of great puzzle games. Unfortunately, it loses a star because of the eye-straining yellow-on-grey colour scheme. It's a shame we can't set our own colours, or at least have option of a high contrast scheme.

  15. Mathan Retik-avatar

A few dozen simple puzzle games with varying levels of difficulty from relaxing and easy to near-impossible. No bells and whistles, no annoying ads, just well thought out puzzle games including many classics.

  16. Terrace Thornhill-avatar

    Terrace Thornhill

Great puzzle app, has worked flawlessly, but beware of screen burn in. I played "Galaxy" for a few hours and it left a mark on my screen from the bright white grid of the game. I've played other games on this app without issue.

  17. Stephen Paca-avatar

This is a large collection of fun games. Some games are can be played quickly, while others might take time to work out logically. Either way, you get to think instead of mindlessly tapping the screen. Many games allow you to choose the difficulty level or customize the settings. Simple and clean interface, detailed rules for each game is included. Night/dark mode is nice and easy on your eyes. NO ADS!

  18. Catalin Diacov-avatar

I like that levels are generated randomly, they will never repeat, and there are no one of this "Ranked" , so you can solve them stressless, really nice app with many offline puzzles. (Sorry for bad english)

  19. Brittani Churchill-avatar

    Brittani Churchill

Simple, fun games which I've played as a kid. Great for long play or quick bursts. Also no ads. Thank you, kind developer, for this lovely app.

  20. Judeous-avatar

There's all sorts of puzzles in here, for just about every mood you're in. Allows you to favorite the games that are your "favorites," so they're at the top, so you don't have to scroll to get to them. There's also instructions and introductions to each game. You can also customize each game to your liking, with a guide that tells you what each setting does. I've had this app for a while, (Don't remember how long) and have yet to become tired of it

  21. Dave Marques-avatar

Such a simple hassle free app. Puzzles of all kinds, all generated so you can play offline. No ads. No freaking ads! How?? The man deserves a few bucks for how simple it all is. Hours of mental exercise. There are no tutorial levels or anything but it's very simple to just read to learn a new game. Plenty of puzzles, each with a variety of difficulties/styles. No ads, and it's free. Amazing!

  22. Markus Erhard-avatar

Good minimalistic Graphics. The puzzles are perfect for short waiting times. The only problem in some Puzzles is that you have to be really precise with your touching in some puzzles if you play big levels.

  23. Jan Michael Kormanik-avatar

    Jan Michael Kormanik

Great, one of the best game apps I ever had. 39 games give variety, some are simpler than others, when you are bored you can switch to another. Not terribly exciting, none is an action game or something, but they are good brain teasers if you enjoy that. Free with no ads - definitely recommended. I've had it for 7+ years across several devices.

  24. Alex Bennie-avatar

Brilliant little app. Tons of different puzzles, no ads, simple UI (with night mode). The author also gives credit to the inventor/original puzzle designers in the well written instructions for the the puzzles.

  25. Mic B-avatar

i rly like the variety of games and every single game is nice in it's own way and looks super cool and is tricky, its takes some time to read to get what to do and how it works, but i think the description is good and fast to understand (u b learning by doing anyway lol) but i would not get what to do, not reading first, the games are so individual every time 17

  26. Brian Smith-avatar

A nearly perfect collection of puzzle games. No experience, no currencies, no stamina, nothing to unlock, no battery-sucking animations. Just numbers and grids as far as the eye can see. I might actually have to uninstall it at some point because it's so good at keeping my attention.

  27. Tina Snyder-avatar

Great puzzles, lots of settings for the difficulty and size of the puzzles. Simple graphics, which is good if you have an older phone like mine.

  28. Stitch-avatar

Wonderful app to kill time with. No ads, no Internet dependency, just pure and simple (well, for smart people) puzzles. Variability in difficulty makes it open to all skill levels, and gives a sense of progression. Random generation gives endless entertainment value, so you'll never even run bored. Explanations are brief but clear. Probably one of the best apps I've ever downloaded!

  29. E old phone acct-avatar

    E old phone acct

Great set of various games involving logic, planning, strategy, and fun. Over 30 games of great variety and style. There are puzzles for all types of thinking strategies that are bound to entertain anyone looking for any sort of game from classic Sudoku types of games new games like Untangle where you have to move points of looped design so that none of the connecting lines cross, it is way more fun than it sounds. For free, ad free, and no needless permissions.

  30. Robert Becker-avatar

a great curated set of puzzle / logic games. A wide range of difficulty levels, and each game style has a useful set of parameters to customize the difficulty for fun or challenge. The controls are easy to learn and intuitive, and the games are designed to make sure each puzzle can be solved logically - no random guessing required - no even RNGs - just pure logical goodness.

  31. Ritabrata Roy-avatar

Simon presents a curated collection of puzzles sourced from arcade websites from around the globe. Witty and interesting, the perfect cure for those with a neverending itch to keep their heads busy. At times, for a few of the puzzles the instructions might seem a bit in the lacking, but hey isn't that what adds even more to the nostalgic factor of these straight-outta-'00 web puzzles ? And along with it, you also get a computer generated solution to them as well. Appreciate the efforts y'all :D

  32. Bear Peanut-avatar

Never have I played such a dreamy game of minesweeper. I never thought you could refine it so much but It's an absolute shivering thrill now, with none of the stress to boot! And that's just ONE of the masterpieces here. It really is the little things in life that make the most

  33. OompaKoopa Troopa-avatar

Ive used many puzzle apps before, most of them throw a billion ads at you and have no good puzzles, most of them are quick cash grabs. But this is great. No ads, Not a cash grab, and lots of great puzzles. The creator of this is a respectable person and i love the content they provided.

  34. Euclid Megara-avatar

Great puzzles. No ads. This is the Android port of the popular open source puzzle pack. Lots of customizability to keep games challenging and interesting.

  35. Robert Benz-avatar

A beautiful piece of interactive art. This is an extensive and robust atmosphere of intreguing and exciting fun. Between the variety of puzzles and seemingly endless customizability of each, there is a puzzle for everybody and at any available level of difficulty for any level of player.

  36. Jacob Schwartz-avatar

Fabtastic app! So many simple but fun puzzles, and it stands out for having no ads or wifi dependency. The customization of each puzzle enables different difficulties or challenges. My one wish for this app would be multiplayer modes for some puzzles, but I can see how this is meant to be a solo experience. :P

  37. R-avatar

Wonderful, ad-free, permissionless pack of procedurally generated puzzles, many of which are of better quality than many premium puzzles in the store.

  38. Bellis Wingclaw-avatar

    Bellis Wingclaw

I got this because is had alot of windows 96 and xp nostalgia. But ive ran into a problem. None of the games will play for me. I enter one and it crashed the game. Now i have not a idea why this is happening. Im useing a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, the app could be made for phones i don't know.

  39. B.L. Falvano-avatar

Great set of logic puzzles. Simple layouts. Easy controls. Can select various levels of difficulty. Type of app I was looking for.

  40. Владимир Шаров-avatar

    Владимир Шаров

Focused only on puzzles, no annoying design and coins, think it's training of author in programming, good result for performance and logic

  41. David Adams-avatar

Dozens of puzzle games in one tiny app with no ads or other nonsense. This app probably could replace thousands of pointless ad-driven games

  42. Wheel Barrow-avatar

the motherload! no ads, runs on old phones, low cpu, great puzzles, good ui, nightmode, and minesweeper! i use these to teach my autistic kid logic (and have fun). thank you!

  43. Rian Hasiando-avatar

The best solution if you need to improve your skill in solving puzzle. Every puzzle can be solved with logic 😄

  44. Rin Ferraro-avatar

I love this app! Theres a good variety of games so Im never bored! Never glitches or drains my battery. Perfect for times with no internet access.

  45. max kore-avatar

///HONEST REVIEW/// Poor user friendliness. Nice options. 2001 appearence. Puzzle quantity: >average, quality:

  46. Phillip Darkchipmonk Healy-avatar

    Phillip Darkchipmonk Healy

Fantastic set of games. Free, no ads, no IAP. This makes no money, I'd love a donating system to reward the dev! Only complaint is a few small QOL improvements would make this that bit better. Like in Picross being able to toggle active vs negative marks etc.

  47. Daniel Alfredo Sottile-avatar

    Daniel Alfredo Sottile

Beautiful set of games with absolutely no ads and works offline. Easy to play, very rich in difficulty levels and options, night mode and zoom at any sector of the game! I love the minesweeper version with solubility assurance, and the crazy patterns in loopy.

  48. Benjamin Listhartke-avatar

    Benjamin Listhartke

Amazing pack of puzzles, just what i was looking for in a puzzle app. I love that there are no surprises. Just my puzzles, no ads, no phone requirements. One suggestion, to add "Battleship" puzzles (aka Yubotu).

  49. M CU-avatar

A very wide selection of puzzles with the ability to choose levels of difficulty for each. The graphics are as functional as those of a crossword puzzle; there is room for improvement/modernisation in that area.

  50. Damar Abhinawa-avatar

A stable and fun games which can make you hooked up to your phone for hours. Please try to add timer in every games, so the player can get more satisfaction when beating his previous fastest games. Thank you!

  51. Daniel Brauchli-avatar

    Daniel Brauchli

Galaxy is currently my favorite of all puzzle apps, but there are excellent versions of other classics. This version of flood is my favorite

  52. Zack Stehura-avatar

Great app. Very intuitive and simple interface. Infinite puzzles for each type. Figuring out how to play some is hard, but there's almost 40 games so you can just not play those.

  53. H Ferry-avatar

Incredibly diverse variety of puzzles! Many challenges, no boredom. Some of the puzzles I have played previously under different names but many of them are brand new to me. Well done!

  54. Stephanie-avatar

This app is straight-to-the--point, just a menu of the puzzles and nice night mode scheme. The difficulty setting for puzzles makes it easier to learn these games, most of which I hadn't seen before getting the app.

  55. Jack Hayman-avatar

Some fun puzzles in a lightweight and uncluttered interface. No adverts or unnecessary bloat, just good fun.

  56. Lisa M.-avatar

This app is amazing! So many cool games, each with different sizes and the possibility to customise them - awesome! Plus, there's no ads. It's just fun and really really good :)

  57. Warmed Pie-avatar

Overall the best puzzle collection on mobile. Minimalist, non-distracting art style and efficient controls are a breath of fresh air in a market of overly flashy, poor performing puzzles. No gimmicks, no ads, just puzzles. My potato of a phone can run it no problem with pretty low battery usage. The size of the collection is one of the largest out there, and I have never found anything with as much customizability. The replayability is absurdly high; I've enjoyed this game for years and don't think I'll ever get tired of it. I don't enjoy all of the puzzles, but most of them are great and I cycle through them all the time. Recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzles.

  58. earthexe-avatar

This app kept me entertained for months, and it doesn't have any notifications, ads, progress bars or anything of the sort to keep you artificially hooked. Just good, honest, puzzles.

  59. L Ting-avatar

I just discovered this today. What fantastic little games! I can't stop playing! And there is night mode! 😍 My eyes thank you. The games are very relaxing and meditative.

  60. Jacob Lysinger-avatar

Very nice offline puzzle game... No ads 😄 It pairs nicely with `Offline Survival Manual` You should put this app on the fDroid store

  61. Emmy van der Heijden-avatar

    Emmy van der Heijden

Tons of games, no ads! Saves in installing all these games separately

  62. Susan Grunner-avatar

A light app with a bunch of puzzle games. I play these all the time. fun and function is places over bells, whistles, and shiny flashing lights. I also like the fact that it has a dark theme and no ads! My only complaint is that the rule page for some of the games isnt clear. But its pretty easy to figure out once you start playing.

  63. Beanboi-avatar

Decent game, the few problems I've encountered are the tutorial's lacking, and the puzzles can be (even after reading the rules) extremely difficult,). This is my review.

  64. thomas underfoot-avatar

    thomas underfoot

TONs of puzzle games with lots of variety in the difficulty and settings, plus they are randomly generated so theres a near-infinite ammount of time-wasting to be had. I have spent countless hours playing loopy on this thing. Although the controls can sometimes be a little confusing, it's a superbly functional app, full of fun content, made by one nice guy who answers my emails about how they were programmed, and also NO ADS (incredibly rare on the app store these days). 1000/10

  65. Kristy Schmitt-avatar

Great time killer, difficulty and game type range is very nice and love the ad free offline play!

  66. Malizma-avatar

Great app! Perfect time killer if you're into logic puzzles, really makes you think about the solution using the basic rules of each game.

  67. Jonathan M-avatar

Stimulating and Satisfying! My go to puzzle app. I always come back to this one when I need to kill some time. Has a great puzzle selection. (been a user for 4+ yrs)

  68. Neil Holton-avatar

Gameplay beats graphics. Beautifully made. Amazing breadth and configurability.

  69. A Google user-avatar

Sorry, dev. I've enjoyed your app for a long time yet I've never reviewed it. What first drew me to the app was (and still is!) the fact that it doesn't have or need internet access permission. And, of course, the games are great and enjoyable time killers while waiting for appointments, etc. Dev, a belated Thanks!

  70. Michel Wahlen-avatar

Great puzzles, no ads, no pay to play, awesome. The best application if you are looking for a puzzle app. Thanks a lot !

  71. Alien Skydiver-avatar

39 puzzles, free, playable offline, no ads, what more could you want? Each puzzle is very different from each other and not all the puzzles are for me, the ones i do like though, i absolutely love (Map, Towers, Untangle). The only thing is, i would like a bit of background music, maybe some jazz or something relaxing. But otherwise, i think this should be pre-installed on every phone.

  72. aing tea-avatar

The application is very small but contains many interesting games, it is very fun to play in your spare time and at the same time sharpen your reasoning.

  73. Donovan Clarey-avatar

This is the best puzzle app I have ever downloaded. All of the puzzles are unique and difficult.

  74. Aditya Mishra-avatar

This is a perfect way to pass your time. The puzzles are interesting and enjoyable

  75. Gayle Baker-avatar

Not really sure about Samurai Sudoku. Been playing for years, but at least one puzzle in the third pack appears to have no solution, or requires guessing. Maybe two puzzles.

  76. Toron Beldevar-avatar

By far one of the most worthwhile apps I have ever downloaded. This is dozens of games built into one simple app, amazingly versatile. The only thing this game doesn't do is bore you. You could play this for hours at a time, even, and not get tired of it. Also, the fact that there are virtually no advertisements proves that the hobbyist developer is in it for the entertainment of his players rather than the money. I RESPECT that, even. No holds barred, an absolute recommend.

  77. CyclistColinJ-avatar

Excellent collection. Especially like Palisade. Minesweeper with guaranteed solution is good too. Yet to check out most of the other games.

  78. Brian Westerman-avatar

    Brian Westerman

Excellent puzzle selection, good for so many different types.

  79. B Powell-avatar

Amazing app. Puzzles are great and actually make you think. Doesn't need internet = no ads. **Automatically switches to Dark Mode in low light!**. I've played better minesweeper, but that's only one of 39+ classic puzzles/games, all with varying difficulty levels. Amazing work! Yes the automatic dark mode is what cause me to come rate/review.

  80. Haozhong Situ-avatar

Fantastic and fascinating. It has so many games that you can't even stop - when you get tired of one, you still have tons to dig into.

  81. Alexandra Brython-avatar

    Alexandra Brython

Ad-free, purchase-free, offline!?! You, and Simon, are gods among men.

  82. en1gmat0-avatar

This man is a genius. What I really like is how the games are not "over-explained". Just like when I grew up playin NES, part of the fun/challenge is figuring out how the games work. I am familiar with the concepts behind many of them so it wasn't too difficult, and each game comes with a brief instruction, but I still appreciate the feel of being left in a game with little help and having to basically experiment, and that feeling of discovery each time, it simply cannot be replaced. Thank you.

  83. Joshua Geiger-avatar

Really good puzzles ( if you can learn em' ) I'd like to see a few multiplayer games though too. (Even if it becomes a different app)

  84. Red Brick-avatar

I'm so happy to find this. Many of these I have seen before and didn't know how to do them. The explanations are good, but if that isn't enough, you can ask for the solution to help you learn. This is absolutely my favorite app already, and I have played so many and even payed quite a bit for some. The developer deserves a medal.

  85. Laura angus-hughes-avatar

    Laura angus-hughes

This collection of games is perfect. Completely customisable difficulties. No ads. Just logic puzzles with no unnecessary faff. My favourite app

  86. Froggo-avatar

Its great my friend told me about it and now we race to see who complets the puzzle first (you can do this by using the maps seed)

  87. Ricky Kurniawan-avatar

    Ricky Kurniawan

The ultimate puzzle app, all in one, with no bloat and advertising nonsense, just like the old days.

  88. Aaron Haskett-avatar

This is the best puzzle game in the play store. Can't imagine why someone would give this less than 5 stars. It's got a ton of games, is free, has zero ads, and requires no permissions. Clearly a passion project, puzzles are randomly generated and highly customizable. Love it!

  89. secret pieperson-avatar

    secret pieperson

Loads of different enjoyable games to pass the time. Also custom difficulties which can be incredibly challenging!

  90. Zach Gaskins-avatar

Best puzzle suite I've ever played. Great for bathroom breaks and any time you need to keep your mind limber!

  91. Zwork101-avatar

This app is fantastic. The puzzles, are great. Some puzzles are a bit confusing, however slowly but surely I'm figuring them out. Like it says, there are no add. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a puzzle game. It might not be flashy, but you dont need flashy to challenge your brain.

  92. Nico Sukowski-avatar

A wide array of puzzles, most with adjustable difficulty. Not all of them are to my liking, but enough of them are. The graphics are simple, the controls are not always optimal. But it runs smoothly and is very nice on the battery. For a free game without ads not bad.

  93. Kenji-avatar

Amazing app. Lots of puzzles, yet not a single ad or premium things. It's also very simple, yet there's some-kind of "wiki" to explain you how to play the puzzles if you need help. When you have some time to loose, this app is a wonder.

  94. Joseph Catrambone-avatar

    Joseph Catrambone

Abundant amount of content. No ads that I can see. Thank you for sharing this!

  95. Greg K-avatar

Lots of logic puzzle with no ads and simple interface. Brief description on outside more help if needed inside.

I just want to thank the dev for making such a quality puzzle app. It's clean, infinitely replayable, and clearly a labor of love. In a world of low quality games and greedy developers, you and your work are nothing short of an inspiration. Thanks for making it.

I really love this game, but the latest update has broken something and I get a no such file error for whenever it tries to generate a new puzzle. don't want to give a bad review bit didn't know how else to make this visible
