Create any chord progression and play it with one of the 128 instruments available. With this app you can create your own library of chord progressions, and explore the limitless possibilities of harmony. It's for both musicians and anyone interested to learn about harmony. A chord progression is a sequence of chords, for example C-G-Am-F and can be of any length. This app supports all the types of chords. You can set the tempo (the speed) and the time signature (for example 4/4 or 6/8). In the main screen you can see the chord progression you are working on showed in two different representations: as a sequence of buttons (one for each chord) that you can press to change the value and the type of the chord they refer to, and also as a traditional staff notation, so as to see exactly what are the notes that compose the chords. The buttons' width are proportional to the chords' value, so, for example, a 1-bar chord occupies the whole screen width, while shorter chords only a portion of it. This way you can have an immediate and accurate representation of your chord progression. The chords placed on the staff are touch sensitive: touch a chord and you will hear that chord play. Or, press the Play button the hear the whole sequence from scratch. The progressions are automatically saved. Your can explore any combination of chords easily and with a lot of fun. If you need to import your work to another device, you can do that! Press "Export all", in the old device, then copy and paste the backup file and finally press "Import all" on the new device. With the wish you can find this app useful, creative and educational. For info/suggestions: [email protected] Thank you!

Wanted to use this to create backing tracks, but some things are missing/unfinished. I created a progression and by mistake deleted a chord out of the middle, doesn't seem to be a way to insert it back in without deleting all chords after it. 'undo' function would be great for that. Save/exporting leads to a non-existent app. Has potential, but sadly, I think this is an abandoned project.

Overall it's not a bad app for making backing tracks. You can make chord progressions in any key, set time signature and tempo. You can even create strum patterns. The one thing I don't like is that it says you have 128 instruments to choose from, but they all sound the same. I play guitar, so I want my chords to be played with a guitar sound. But no matter which instrument I select, it always sounds like a keyboard. So if you want an app that plays chords with a guitar sound, try another app.

Very good but could be great. Intuitive and easy to use unlike similar apps. A few tweaks and this would be amazing. First we need to combine chords, like there's no way to play a Csus4aug, can't select "aug" and "sus4" at same time. Would also be cool to choose btn bass and treble cleff. Maybe an optiin for simple arpeggios as well. And tack on an " add13". Maybe a " custom chord" option would be best where the user could specify the exact notes would work best.

It's okay. It would be much better if pressing e.g. "A" or "M7" actually played a preview of what an A or an M7 sounds like. As it is, I need to guess what I want, hit "DONE", play the chord, then re-edit if I guessed wrong.

Good app, it's missing inversions but aside from that it is good if you want to map out chords in a basic manner.

The lack of looping and the inability to drag the chords around if you want to add one to the middle hold this app back
Austin Frasher
Sketchy, immediately uninstalled. This app won't let you use without granting access to your pictures, hell naw.
