    Loved CineTrailer before it transformed into this, can`t seem to find future up and coming films to see in the cinema, not interested in renting them off here or buying cinema tickets, oh well going to uninstall and find something else....

    Edited review. Previously gave two stars as app was running poorly on TV. App updated and runs well again. I recommend the service as there's a good choice and occasionally deals/offers. TV app still has a couple of small annoyances but not deal breakers.

    Rented a film but was unable to get it to play on Chromecast. Even more impressively it managed to get the Chromecast in to an unresponsive state so I couldn't cast from other apps (fixed by unplugging and then plugging the Chromecast back in).

    I rented a video online, and after the payment it is giving me an error "asset id is invalid" and does not allow me to play. Now after seeing the reviews, they are not a surprise. Please refund me for the purchase.

    All of a sudden I cannot play my library of films receiving the following "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again.". I've tried deleting and then reinstalling the app to no avail. Running a pixel 2 on Android 10.

    So had a few problems in the beginning with this app, which have been sorted and found this app to be great. Works just as it said, and provides a good option of media to watch, not to expensive either. My only negative, which related back to the problems i had before, is that the layout of the app isnt easy to follow. Everything is kind of all of the place, i guess? Some things are harder to find, and actually flicking through the movies takes forever. However, I would recommend this app.

    I like the concept of this service, cinema, movies, tv and merchandise in one place. However the main issue for me is the audio, with stereo only output, volume balance & quality is just all over the place. Destroying the main experience. The primary function of any film and tv application is the visuals and audio right? The in app user experience is ok, but let down by basic navigation issues. Fix the audio, improve the sidebar menu navigation. i.e parent category.. will raise the app ratings.

    Worked fine for a bit, but now won't add films to cart, keeps coming up with error message saying cart isn't in sync. Samsung tv app is doing the Same. took the time to contact via FB messenger and explain the issues. person from CHILI didn't even read issue properly, responded wrong, said was issue my end, wasted a lot of time trying to point out your app isn't working right! 🙄

    Have many streaming sites and while looking at the streaming apps came across 'Chili' The streaming performance has been virtually %100 (non is perfect) however this service is close to it. The picture and sound also sync have been more than satisfactory, (well that sounds a bit mean) spot on if I'm more to the point! Chili has sales to purchase from time to time of latest movies, however, personally if they just had more sales to purchase of a variety of genres whatever the age, personally i would be one of the first in. Apart from my wishlist, they do have a fantastic selection of movies at unmissable bargain prices, which will see you through any winters evening especially if your pressed for funds, it's an enjoyable cheap night in! I've got to say that I'm very glad i came across their app, as I'm very impressed by the all round services you get and prices, they also sell dvd's besides other merchandise much to my surprise, i understand that other streaming apps will want to stand out from the crowd because the competition will be tough from others with their multi-billion dollar marketing budget, but feel it already stands out by just the great streaming and aggressive pricing they put out. I hope Chili goes from strength to strength.

    Absolutely shocking UX and customer service. can't download anything despite it saying you can either to device or an SD card. can't Download to PC either. just doesn't even attempt that. stream quality is terrible. no option to download all. film and TV choice is poor and expensive for very old shows. customer service channels are full of dark patterns. make you jump through hoops in order to get cinema vouchers instead of issuing you with the codes like any other app would.

    Like the idea behind Chili, but the app isn't up to scratch yet. I downloaded the app to our SMART TV, it was a bit slow but was ok. Switched the TV on today, and found the App had disappeared. I haven't found any way of reinstalling it,. Very frustrating. Only way of watching anything is now on my phone which wasn't why I signed up to Chili.

    This app is amazing. Their prices are usually better than competing services (Amazon, Google) but unlike those this app actually offers the movies in English (I'm in Germany but I prefer movies in the original language). I'm a bit blown away that this is the only app that plays 4k HDR on my Philips TV that plays it in English. But it's worth it, let me tell you. Just bought Bohemian Rhapsody in 4k HDR and it is STUNNING.

    Yeah great... another movie database.. (yawn) Good content, lots of choice. Rental prices are reasonable, purchase costs are on the expensive side. But none of that is important to me.I dont want my movie collection segregated.I want to purchase digital content and have it available from ONE source. I dont want to have to look through multiple apps/services/devices to browse through my movie collection and equally I don't want to subscribe to just one provider. DRM needs sorting, thats my point!

    I'm really sorry to post such a bad review but the streaming doesn't work at all on my device; I've never had a bad experience like this one. The video player starts but the screen remains pitch black and there is no sound. I've wasted 5 euros worth of gift cards on rentals that I won't be able to watch.

    Note that my rating is not for the app itself, but for the service overall and for shady marketing techniques... Even though I applied a gift card from Vodafone worth 10 pounds, week later it shows in my balance that I have 0 credit, even I haven't used it at all. Tried to find help section, which eventually led to some options to enter everything again and the exact date when the card is applied - it means I would have to dig through junk in the mail, and honestly the service is not worth it...

    App is fine, purchasing films is not. Just bought the Star Wars Collection to stream only to find the 72 bonus features are not to be found. They are all on Amazon but don't appear to be on Chili. Am waiting for a customer service response. Not a great first experience with this company to part with my money and find half of what was promised, and is part of the collection, is not there.

    Excellent streaming app in a crowded market. Was tempted in by free credit via a Vodafone reward, so gave it a go. Good range of movies, many outside the usual blockbusters and unavailable elsewhere. Flash sale too, so good films at cheap prices available. Recently watched Mandy & First Reformed for equivalent of 90p each (using up some of the free credit). Some interesting foreign, indie and older titles too, although navigation and finding interesting things is harder than it should be. But then other streaming services suffer this too, putting to much obvious stuff front and centre at the expense of more out the way titles. Overall, a promising service. Worth checking out.

    Very poor experience. On a strong connection, (100/30), SD streams constantly buffer, SD downloads never leave the pending stage. Give your money to Amazon Prime Video instead, same movies at the same prices with none of the frustration.

    Signed up using the app. Very easy and straightforward to use. First rental was free. No Roku app so mirrored my phone screen to my Roku stick. Smooth playback with good quality sound. Would definitely recommend.

    Have the developers ever actually used their product? This must have THE worst UI out there. Yoy see a movie you might like, how do i find the price? You get an IMDB type page but pricing is surprisingly well hidden. Youve bought something, ok where do I go to watch it? Yeah, you'll find all these things. Eventually. Whatever you want, they try to make it as difficult as possible. As for playback, good luck. Competing services just work, this, Error, error, error and then eventually it works.

They give you several possible solutions to try to fix the problem, try them and then they tell you, hey our records show you watched the movie, no refund, and that has taken a month!?!?!

    I got a 10 pound voucher from my mobile phone provider and thought I would download the app to see what films I could watch and for what price.I saw the trailer for the film WHITE BOY RICK and thought " looks good I'll watch this." Imagine my horror at the price to watch it £11.99, yep this isn't a misprint the cost is £11.99. Will I watch it? Not a chance and as for the £10 voucher your not getting it. So to conclude in a 1 word answer---- RIPOFF!

    App works well, streaming via Chromecast too, but excessive audio compression spoils things. As with a previous reviewer, watched 'Three Billboards.." and the stark LOUD/quiet rise and fall of music during dialogue was off-putting. Mileage may vary as to how much this bothers you, but for me, it's a major irritation -- like watching half-edited 'dailies' for a film mid-production.

    Chromecast worked ok but the film (Ready Player One) had Italian intro credits and Italian subtitles appeared if there was English text on screen. Obviously not the UK version of the film. Edit: this has now been rectified for this film.

    I previously used this app to watch a movie but the audio was very dodgy, which I mentioned in my review. Customer service promptly replied to my review with a free rental, asking me to try again. I tried again with a different movie and this time it worked perfectly. Sound was fine. Definitely be using Chili again for my next movie rental.

    So after a free trial downloaded a movie tried to watch it and message codex not working or similar came up, It then started my 48hr clock, I then started watching 12 hours later stopped to put the kids to bed and came back to finish, to be told codex not working again and no movie is expired after only watching half of tomb raider. Sound quality was out of sync as well. Think I will stick to Google play

    Downloaded this app on Android TV as I had a voucher from Virgin wine. Read some bad reviews but had no problems, watched four films now in hd and hd+ all been perfect quality both image and sound.

    Unfortunately I have no choice but to rate this 1 star because the audio is massively compressed so that everything is the same volume. This means in quiet films with dialogue, background hiss becomes unbearably loud and then suddenly vanishes when someone speaks. "Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri" for instance is virtually unwatchable. I rented this and have now asked for my money back. The App will be rated much more highly when they turn off dynamic range compression and make films watchable again. I can turn DRC on on my TV if I wanted to (which I don't), it should NOT be done by Chili!

    Not perfect , film occasionally stops for no reason, sound quality was poor on latest film rented (Wind River) and no subtitles were available, chromecast button not visible on my android phone so had to use ipad. In answer to developer questions; The film is not buffering but just locks up. Google play version 10.0.32. The sound issue was via chromecast from ipad.

    Haha, this is laughably bad. Rented a film but it won't play. It says the video asset ID is invalid. I'm glad I didn't actually pay anything for it, otherwise I might be annoyed. EDIT: the title was Return to Oz (1985) SD

    Didn't use it. Didn't sign up. Why? Because of the policies they have in place regarding privacy. Would of signed up, but you went did the most stupidest thing ever by saying we would receive cold calls, marketing rubbish from your self and 3rd party companies. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. Shame on you!     I really like this app but. Where are the subtitles !!!! It would be a really great feature, I mean subtitles in Polish and in any other language.

    Fake apps,the movies I requested for is not showing and I contact the customer care they found no solution despise they collect 13EUR for the movie...fake..
