    Satisfactory service really depends on the driver. There's short lag time to update location info. The app will show driver one min away, perhaps five minutes later you could be still waiting. Ring driver they may not answer or return your text very fraustrating. You then need to order another car but end up paying for the no show. Its a system where driver will declare your on board then start charging you waiting time meanwhile your still on the curb. Client should be able to declare on-board

    Just tried it again for a different location put in the address for pick up and address for drop off and the fare showed £30.50 to return with the same locations fare is showing £53. Both done at the same time to get a quote and each showing the same route so nothing to do with traffic. What is going on Kapten. This is very bad 🤔😡

    When this app works it is better tgan Uber by far but has become far to inconsistent. This app is ok and was initially worth 5 stars but recently I have had drivers repeatedly cancel my journey. I have also had the app fail to find me a driver multiple times and even had a car turn up at a different location claim I did not arrive at the car in time and charge me for wasting the drivers time. All of this was in London where you would assume would have the most coverage.

    I have used this app a few times, but I am disappointed that I cannot put in the number of the house/flat in saved places for ordered pick ups. I have my home saved and had to walk half way down the road in the rain to find the ordered car, I felt vulnerable as a woman having to go up to the car and asking a stranger for his name making sure he is the person ordered. For the safety of women and vulnerable people who would like to use your services please review/update your app. Most appreciated

    Don't use this is you want to be picked up in an airport. It gets it wrong and/or does not tell you where to go. Then it gives you 8mins to get there (they are big airports!) and then charge you £6.50 And cancels. And leaves you stranded.

    App is fine but drivers drive off leaving you with the choice of either cancelling (and get charged) or waiting 20-30 mins for the app to reassign a new driver. Get your freebies then uninstall and never use again.

    Cant usr the app as im unablr to open it unless i hand over my personal details upfront. Why thr eff would I do that. Both add lee and uber let u check a journey cost BEFORE u have to join. U MUST b hiding some underhand shite in the terms and conditions, why else would u create an app that will force people to chose between privacy and cost. Privacy always wins. My bad i get it, they use data traders. Every email, facebook account, phone number be u a c ustomer or not is wotth money to them

    Took 1 ride and it was fine so put a 5 star rating before I decided to use it again on a return journey so I ordered a cab and cancelled before it came because it took too long and I have been charged almost £24! I have queried it but nobody has even come back to me avoid it and stick to bolt or uber

    Kepten charges every time. Even when they say that the ride was cancelled without charge. Even when the driver just drove away without picking me up. Too bad, the customer support is useless too. They keep saying nonsense about that no actual charges were made. They fail to find correspondence upon further replies. Amazingly, customer support doesn't know how to scroll down emails. This is not the first time Kepten keeps my money and lies about it. But they are still the cheapest service.

    Recently a notification took 10minutes to come through to my phone. By that time the driver had already waited 8minutes and the journey was cancelled! Highly annoying! Credit where credit is due though. The customer service is great at Kapten. Please make sure you NEVER change the fact that you have U.K call centres. So much easier to communicate and resolve any issue that may arise.

    People please : do not stand on a bus stop or zigzag or pedestrian crossing for a pickup!! 2-Do not request driver at a shopping centre, get out from the shopping center than find a safe a place so the GPS get it right !! 3-please if you live in flat use the PIN and move it where do u want a pickup 4 - at the airport please as soon as u make a request call the driver and tell them where u are 5- zoom in the app to track the driver and see from which side is he coming because u can see him !!

    An app designed to rip you off rather than moving you from A to B. Waiting time will start 'counting' so you get extra charged although you are already at the meeting point. Their maps won't be accurate so again they will claim to have arrived and waited, and then see the point above. The app will show you 18 min waiting time and then when you cancel it will charge you 5gbp. Complete useless ripoff STAY AWAY!!!

    Frequent crashes, malfunctioning GPS, utter waste of your money and time: The app will show your position randomly anywhere 50-75 metres from where you really are, with no option to readjust on the map. Cabbies cancelled most of our trips because they couldn't find us, now we got credit in the app that we cannot use. Also crashes often and needs to be restarted. By the end you are charged for part of a trip you couldn't take which makes it more expensive than Uber. Annoying!

    I logged in a while ago to find out that my account has been "temporarily suspended". Since then I tried to reach out FOUR times through the only channel they provide (email via link on the alert). Zero replies. Still unable to use it after months. This is seriously poor customer service. I guess there are reasons new tech companies fail against the big companies. Annoying and disappointing.

    The service is good but the app is bad. I tried to contact customer support for payment related problem. I tapped "need help?" section and invalid_token error occurred. {"error":"invalid_token","error_description":"The access token provided is expired, revoked, malformed or invalid for other reasons."} I tried to use their desktop website and I could not find any support contact there.

    Generally a good ride hailing app. Lots of offers and discounts. I have however only given 5 stars as I have noticed that of the 5 times I have last used it , 3 of those occasions I have been charged a waiting fee. One has been refunded. I have never kept a driver waiting but have noticed that they frequently park further along the road than the pick up point is indicated. Once Kapten addresses these issues I will re - evaluate my feedback score.

    I used to really love this app, and I like that the taxes are paid in the UK unlike uber. BUT, since uber lost its contract with London I've noticed a sharp decline in kapten. The prices have gone up. My journey from my local train station (20min walk) has gone from £3 to £5 and I have had journeys cancel on me which has never happened before, with increasing frequency.

    Aweful. This review should be read as a 0 star. I got through the sign up process and get my credit card authorized. Then I try to book a ride and suddenly my card no longer works. Tried to fixed it multiple times, called my back, used a different card, etc. Same error. Tried to call them and no one ever answered. Avoid this company.

    There's a few things to improve. When ordering it's needed to know how long I have to wait for the cab to arrive and as the driver progresses in his way to destination, having that info on screen. Overall the discounts received regularly are good as an incentive to use the services but there's need to have more drivers available. Also need a direct channel to cust services support for complaints & suggestions. Don't think messages to the driver works.

    Negatives with app: 1). 8/9times none of the buttons in the app work, often needing to close the app several times before it works properly. 2). Info in help section is vague. I.e. when needing to contact customer support, info states "contact us here!", But failing to provide actual contact details. 3). No means of deleting promo codes or overriding them with a new one. You are literally forced to use it or wait for it to expire. Positives with app so far: None.

    1 came, 1 couldn't find me, location finder needs improving. And We need a tab to Actually arrange a journey, like the local cab firms and Uber, so what's the Problem. Yesterday in Paddington your App still cannot recognise my Home Address! When I click home and I'm elsewhere I expect it to be there, I should not have to input the address in every time, how easy is it to do that in a Supermarket??? Beware if they cannot find you you can still be charged just like I was, Ever heard of GPS Driver?

    A complete waist, I never could use the app as it always gives me an error when I try logging in. All it says "We're sorry, we're not able to process your request. Can you please try again latter?" I would not recommend this app to no one, it's completely waist of time.

    This apps timings are way off, just had a ride which the driver cancelled when he was on the way to get me and then someone else accepted the ride then the driver came from so far I watched it all the way to my pin on the map, it said 2 minutes which was actually like 10-15 minutes but it sometimes change a bit randomly it's like the app wants the driver to get there fast so it makes the time short to also make you think the driver will be there soon when it takes longer than the time given 😠😠

    Good service when it works, but the app is getting less and less reliable. Car location freezes, bookings that don't get through... It's also annoying that the tip feature is limited to whole numbers: you can't just round up.

    Misleading and spammy. Offers don't make it clear that they apply for a very limited time only, and they send advertising push notifications when you're not even using the app. The cab service itself may be ok but unfortunately their aggressive marketing is putting me off. I'll probably uninstall and stick to Uber and Bolt.

    The app is fine but drivers cancel rides too often which leads to frustration. It Would be great to be able to leave feedback when this happens. Edit: abusing surge multiplier. No matter when you look at it, the multiplier is on. No longer cheaper than Uber, will stop using.

    Worst app compared to Uber or Bolt in London. Waiting times are ALWAYS a lot more than it says, drivers cancel a lot and I've been charged unfair waiting fees for drivers' fault. Also, the image of the car on the map does not correspond to reality, I've had it showing as passing me by and it was nowhere near! In Lisbon the service is good though. Go figure...

    It's a nice app, but uninstalled it by mistake and now I can't log in again. I forgot my password and I requested a reset more than 10 times, never receiving an email. Very disappointing.

    The app is very primitive and charges you straight away from form your bank card before the ride. If the driver doesn't show up, then your money are gone. You can return it, but through a big hustle.

    I have just downloaded the app and I was instantenously received a notification from my bank provider that I was charged £24.04. I have not even scheduled a ride yet. I find this unacceptable and will be closing down my account.

    It wouldn't work for me, it thinks I'm in France and keeps telling me "not in the coverage area" when I try to enter in a destination, I had used a friends code too and he didn't get anything.

    It's mostly fine but often the car does take a fair bit longer to arrive than predicted and if i accidentally clear the rate your ride notification I can't find a way to rate the driver which is annoying.

    It's good but buggy app leads to unfair waiting fees. I was looking at it and it says the driver is 4 mins away. Next thing it's jumps and he's outside and already 2 mins waiting so I start getting charged straight away. Help section just leads to a dead end on this too.

    I signed up and I had a 50% off voucher. The I didn't work and it didn't added my credit. I payed full for my first two rides. I emailed and been told by costumer service it's too late. They offer discount coupons they know about it. Why would they not honour??? Not to mention the dodgy cars and the 20 minutes wait. And the none user friendly malfunctioning app. I won't be using this company again. Ps do not ask me to email you it's already done as mentioned

    While suggest good prices, it eventualy didn't accept for payment any of my 4 cards: debit/credit, Visa, maestro, Mastercard. Registers card (doing 0.00 auth successfully), but during attempts to order a car - can't proceed. Wasted 30+ minutes trying to make it work.

    Very bad experience, I booked the cab to Paris CDG airport in the morning, I was waited for driver he didn't came, no information call received about the location. App is showing the meeting location is a taxy stand where 20 cabs was standing. It started waiting time, I had to cancel the cab and take another one in order to reach at airport on time. They deducted 7 euro as cancel charges. App is storing card security code which I don't think is required because at the time of payment we can put.

    No way to book in advance. I press the Leave Now button and nothing happens. I have followed the instructions on the web site for making an advance booking, but they don't work. Please sort this out.

    Can't handle the strikes. Keeps canceling, finally rejected my card (that always works otherwise). I get that they have few drivers and that it'd take longer for them to arrive, but I don't see why they would permanently accept rides and then cancel them.

    Terrible use case. It is very difficult to input the right pick up address. Our driver cancelled the ride and we were charged full price without being notified beforehand . Never using again!

    The worst transport app created! Way over priced compared to competitors even when using promo codes. There is job details on who to contact to close your account. Avoid using at all costs!!!

    Its a buggy app . i get charged 45 euro for pressing cancel button . even when , no car was assigned to me . Dont know why they launced it when its basic functionality is not working properly

    The app has bugs. It's not able to identify one's location even when you've clicked on the compass tool.

    Google pay is needed, saves a lot of time instead of having to add cards just after you have downloaded the app

    Registered with facebool. When trying to add a card - always error. When try to take a help - receive a message that my token was expired. Reset password doesn't help.

    It's really nice. I use it in London always. I stopped using Uber because they always give me promotions and discounts on my rides. I definitely recommend Kapten for everyone in London. Amazing experience with the rides and better price than uber.

    I had been enjoying Kapten until this evening, when I attempted 4 times to book a car and every time the driver cancelled my job.According to the map there were plenty of cars in the area, so very disappointed. Ended up switching to Uber. Reluctant to use Kapten again.
