Useless app. Doesn't recognise the charge point ID. Local search function brings back results from 30 miles away, but not the charging point I'm standing next to. The pay-by-phone number is unobtainable & the helpline plays a message "you cannot call this number from your location". Despite claiming its aim is to make EV charging simple, this is yet another firm that requires you to sign up. Why not just take contactless payment?

Pretty awful app, awkward to use and the main charge service is expensive enough to make you consider petrol as an alternative. If you drive a hybrid it's 100% a don't bother, get some petrol, for full EVs, if you can get the thing to work, then charge for as little time as you need. Awful, just awful.

"Use our app!" I get the app "Create an account!" - I create an account. It takes two attempts "Find a charger!" - It fails to display a sensible list of the 4 chargers in the car part I'm in, requiring me to tap each one and check the ID number - if you're using a 5 digit number to identify it, maybe display that IN THE LIST "Add a card!" - I add a card. It doesn't autofill, despite my phone having my card details stored. "Enter your CVC code" - this is where it completely breaks. I get a "server not found" error. There is no way for me to choose a card and start charging. There is no alternative method suggested. I send a quick message to my wife, who has used the app successfully. She tells me I can use her login. However, there is no way to log out of the app. Fix your app. Make sure your servers are online. Add standard card NFC payments to your chargers. Update your "Status page" so I don't waste 30 minutes of my time. Do better.

Waste of space. I do not like the CYC network it is rubbish and pointless. Even though their points say use the app, web or card to access. Using the app or Web does not work. After repeated issues abd being on hold to their helpline I won't pay for an access card. After one issue when I had no choice but to use their points it failed and kicked my cable in the charge point. There solution was to subscribe and pay for their card as that would solve the issue.

This service is awful, from the sign up process to using it and the network of chargers. App isn't showing any of the chargers close to me, currently standing at one that won't accept the rfid card and also isn't showing on this app, plug locked by the charger in my car and nobody is picking up the phone to help. Nonstop unable to connect to server as well so its 100% useless. This is honestly making me think about selling my EV and going back to petrol.

The absolute worst charging company out there. The app has so many glitches, their customer service is a disgraceful. I've had to call more than 4 times to get through to someone as the phone keeps getting put down. Don't know what BP were thinking when they installed charging points down in the basement of Westfield Shopping Centre where there is absolutely no mobile or WiFi signal to initiate the charge? At least install a WiFi point & fix your incompetent app! Awful! No words and zero stars!

Not been updated regularly, as Charge your Car is now part of BP Pulse,why not incorporate the date in to one app! Haven't yet found a charging point that works, some of the points locally to me haven't for several years. Don't rely on the data from this app alone, in fact save your time and use a different network.

Not reliable. Takes many attempts before login succeeds, then many attempts to actually start a charge; often just doesn't work no matter how many attempts you make. Sometimes complains that there's no internet when every other app thinks it's fine. The RFID isn't much better to be honest.

Car not listed. Can't register payment card Download app to charge car but can't as my car isn't listed. App clearly isn't up to date with new makes and models. Very disappointing. I would give it 0 stars. When I choose other I can register but whenever I try to register my payment details it fails every time.

Not reliable enough to get a charge. Frequently can't start to charge or the points are broken/out of use. Better to get the card then at least you know you're not limited by the app, connection or their server. If a charge point doesn't work then it is the point not the app.
