Google Translate is a joke, as we all know it, and should be used only for entertainment purposes. So, if your school French is still of any use to you, this is the time to bring it into play.

Found many errors in the english version. Such as it inadvertently claiming both the Sun and Earth are the center of the universe, they just forgot to add the word not, or when stating the estimated world population as $7.55 billion people. Both those error are from a single day and if my dumbass can find 2 in one day then how many am I ignorantly missing

Nice basic concept but I think the user experience is missing a trick. I didn't sign up because I wanted to know 40 things that happened in history each day. I wanted to know when today lined up with something big and interesting. I'd also like to know if something aligned with my interests had happened on that day.

It is very interesting and fun, but I have to say the English translation is hilariously inaccurate. Switch to French if something doesn't make sense.

Very cool app, the info is concise and just the right amount to be a "snippet of history". More pictures would possibly be welcome, but maybe not necessary? worth a try?
