How to register
Registration is simple. Get started by downloading the app to your phone.

You have three ways to register:
- Using your internet banking log-in details
- Using your telephone banking details
- Using your personal details and your debit or credit card. This option is not available for business customers

Once successfully registered you can use the mobile app immediately.

Important information
You will need to be a customer of Clydesdale Bank and have a UK mobile number which begins “07”.

There are a few security steps you should follow:

Allows the app to control the vibrator.

    Having huge issues with this version. I can't use it because it keeps going back to the start. I literally can't use the app - the app won't let me. Keeps telling me I have 'Display over Apps' settings active but I don't. I have turned every single one off but it's still telling me I do. So frustrating.

    Always seems to be issues with it and cannot see your transactions. Mobile app down yet again, everytime trying to view all transactions its not letting you and this has been like this for over a day now!!

    Good app but it interfears with the computer banking in the way that you can't log into your accounts from a computer without the use of your phone. The phone has one check to pass the computer has two sets.

    Very effective and convenient after initial problems fixed. Stopped working after an update a couple of months ago but now better than ever with a new phone running more up to date Android.

    i like the app, the only problem is the dates aren't always accurate. if i use my card several times over the weekend, the charges tend to all show against Monday's date. DD appear immediately but seem to disappear the next day, only to finally show again on, say, the 3rd working day. This has often led me to believe I have more money available than I actually do, and it did not work that way in the previous versions of the app. Other than that it's very good, lots of functionality.

    App seems to work reasonably well. My transaction history isn't as long as it should be or as long as Clydesdale claim. Others provide seven years. I'm not even getting 6 months from Clydesdale. Two years is the absolute minimum acceptable. The deposit cheque feature has worked well for me though the app seems to have difficulty recognising cheques that are not as elongated as the photo window. You end up cutting off the top of the cheque, but it still gets paid in okay

    Latest update has broken the app. Takes around ten tries of reopening and closing the app because it gets stuck on the logo animation at the beginning which plays 10x faster than normal. Sort it out Clydesdale! I can't online bank now because of this. Been using phone banking like it's 1999. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, reset, force quit and nothing works!

    Too much demand on app storage. Constant problems trying to up date, too many updates den anded The bank insisted I get this app. I have a modern phone but the bank file is too big to 'update' you would need a degree in computer programming to use the updates. Then to add insult to injury you close my local branch and the one in the nearest town. I have a 15 minute drive to the closest branch. I'm not impressed at all, this is not user friendly, or even customer focused. Huge letdown 😩😬

    Good Internet banking app, there's always something that would be a good addition and logging out could be improved by adding the option to (perhaps) the top right user icon. Or a coloured stripe at the bottom of the "more" section. Keep at it anyway, it's way better than it used to be.

    It has stopped working. The app is not working properly. I cannot approve login once I add the login details into Web. This has happened around 20th Dec and I cannot use it since. I have contacted bank and was told that they will contact me back and have not heard back for 2 days. Can you please look into this ASAP. Thanks

    Not the best banking app on the market. Any movement away from the app (back to desktop, or opening recents list) causes you to have to sign in again. Frustrating to say the least. Also a long pause between tapping the app icon and anything happening, making you wonder if you tapped it or not and making you tap it again! Logging out doesn't acknowledge logging out, just takes you back to sign in...

    Excellent app, very clear options (with a good range of functionality for business users) and simple sign in protocols that feel secure. I do lots of combi banking from mobile and desktop and the app holds its weight. Notification functions are easy to setup and managing accounts is straightforward.

    Useless. Everytime I try to do something i get an error message stating that there is an 'overlay' that is not allowed, which i have to disable. Then up pops a list of about 20 things to choose from. No doubt it's for'security' but if it makes the app unusable then what's the point of having the app.

    Much better app than going through Internet explorer as it takes so long to get into your banking .only gripe i have is no access to online chat with an advisor . Going through Internet explorer has that option maybe the app needs to consider putting this on

    Search for transactions now and it doesnt show up half of them &/or previous yrs transactions mixed in, all sporadic. If dd coming out that day it doesnt tell you what dd it is any more.Money goes in eg Tuesday. Check balance Tuesday & that transactions showing up pending from Monday (yet didnt show up the day befire) Pending transactions still showing as pending for 5+ days.Annoying as takes money off balance straight away but doesnt actually come off.Bring back old style.

    Often doesn't let you log in due to having a "screen overlay" on which I never do. Also enforces a verification step on Online banking for your computer, ridiculous as the app only requires a 6 digit in place of the computer multi-step login!

    The app is easy to use but because i am in an overdraft situation, balance available is not readily seen. Log out option is no longer available. That concerns me if i were using the app somewhere public, which i do try to avoid

    Great app. I am able to switch between accounts quickly and keep track of any activity with easily. I would of rated this 5 star if there was a feature where you could easily pay your credit card with ease like several other top bank/credit card apps.

    Absolute rubbish never updates when it should. Never can keep track of what i have it cant even keep track of direct debits going in and out sooner its updated the better or i will be changing banks!

    Since the latest update, the app crashes before launching. Just switched one CB account, cause of the lack of usage on Huawei phones. Works fine with Santander, so looks like I'll be switching all my accounts now.

    The app is easy to use and intuitive, but I would like it to have a 2 step verification when transferring money, it could be a text or an email with a code, that is why I took it down a star giving it 4 instead of 5.

    It makes it easier to keep track of my spending and savings before the app I never new how much I had in my account, it sometimes led to me going into my overdraft now I always know what I have in my account.

    Takes forever to load, then when it does finally load it has incorrect details in transactions. Timeline shows the same transactions over and over again.

    Difficult using when you need to transfer money. I have to have two apps open to confirm transfer. It is not as seamless as it could be.

    need a facility to scan a cheque and pay it in from the app. Limited clydesdale banks in the area I work for paying in cheques and now thinking of switching to RBS or HSBC who offer this service. Get it sorted please.

    After using for some time now i find it quite confusing , money taken out by certain companys on the purchase of goods then goes back into account making you think you have more money than you really have , things dont show up on the true dates , it just confuses me .
