I'm on Android 9 and the app crashes when trying to move notes around between folders. Keyword management is lacking. I'll revisit in a few months, hopefully it will get better.

Would have liked to use it but it constantly crashes. Doesn't sync note colors with Nextcloud. Pinned notes don't show on top. Actually pin or no pin - nothing really changes. Miles away from Google Keep! Gonna keep on using Nextcloud Notes cause this app isn't ready yet. Works fine in Nextcloud though. And that's what the 2 stars are for. Otherwise unusable!

A very feasible self-hosted Google Keep alternative if you have a Nextcloud instance running. Although it isn't nearly as perfect or stable as Keep, it makes up for it in richer text formatting and the use of folders

Software error leads to deletion of content of notes. They are just overwritten without undo. Happened around a server side update. So or so if I can lose my content on a click and can restore it then the app is useless. But liked it otherwise. Yes, it disappeared. I could restore it because I had it open in the browser. Edit and saved it there. Problem appeard with all check lists. If I open in app, notes are empty. Happens in the app only, not browser. also only after update of nextcloud app.

I have to say that I've been looking for a way to ditch Google Keep and this app is fast becoming a serious contender for Nextcloud users. Features I'd like to see on the Android app are: When a URL is entered in a note that the Carnet browser shows a preview just like in Google Keep. Also allow the URL to be clicked on in the Carnet browser and open that link in a browser like Firefox. This would make me give it 5 stars. Give the Carnet browser the ability to allow the user the sort the order of display of the notes in android app by dragging them around just like in Keep. One thing I did notice although I've not tested the Linux app but on Android and browser I cannot change the base notes directory but it's not a massive problem. I definitely recommend this app and will be making a donation to support the developers fantastic work.

I downloaded this app because it is supposed to be able to sync with nextcloud. Other than that feature its a pretty mediocre note app. It worked fine for a week or so but started crashing every time I open a note. I tolerated it for a while and sent feedback and continued to use it. After a while it got to the point I couldn't use it at all anymore and I've not recieved any feedback from the devs.

With a new phone it doesn't sync anymore, "fake notes get deleted by making a new note" or something. Tried new notes, but it doesn't work. Compared the settings with the old phone, directory is the same, connection with the server is also made with the nextcloud app. Can't use it at all on the new phone. Went from a OnePlus 3 with Android 9 to a Redmi note 8 pro, android 10.

Serious great app and works with owncloud servers as well. I really consider to switch from Keep to this one in the future, but currently a few things prevent me from doing so: 1) list view not available 2) dragging a note to a desired position in the list does not work 3) (nothing serious) pasting a note into a Subfolder requires to use the menu. Uncomfortable. There is so much space left of "New folder" and "new note", why not making a "paste" button, that appears, if a note is in the clipboard

Settings page needs to be dark in dark theme. Saw your github response that you intend for it to be white as that's what you use. Doesn't make sense. If done correctly people can access it no matter if it's dark or white. Plenty of apps are able to do this. Feature request: add sketch/drawing similar to Google Keep. Another open source app Omni Notes has it, maybe you can get inspiration from it.
