Automatically count calories by taking food photos! Calorie counting should be as simple, fun, and easy as taking a picture of your food. Calorie Mama can tell you the calories in your food just by analyzing your food photos. It can recognize thousands of food categories including staples such as fruits, vegetables, meats, grains, beverages; complex cuisines and dishes such as American, Western, European, Asian, Latin American; and US/Canada packaged foods with a front-facing image or barcode.

How It Works:
1) Snap a picture of your food
2) Calorie Mama analyzes your food photo and suggests what the food might be
3) Confirm the food to log your calories!

The more you snap, the more accurate and smarter Calorie Mama gets!

More Details:

Paid for a premium, asked for a refund but didn't get it. Didn't even get response..App is really shady, quickly exhausts storage capacity with tremendous amount of data. Which in no way is reasonable for the advertised functionality of the app. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because app looks nice and barcode scanning worked for me well. But lack of support and shady data mining renders the app untrustworthy for me

Something is wrong with it. It shows in the nutriens that i should consume 0 carbohydrates and 0 proteins , and that all I eat is over the limits which is 0. Please, fix thise

How do we start the number of steps monitor fresh each morning? My steps counter resets around 8 or 8:30am. That messes up my whole routine. I start around 7 or 7:15am, so resetting the step counter at 8:30 is useless for me.

Brutal camera doesn't do anything automatic for tracking .. Don't download

On a good way, needs a global barcode database, otherwise a US-only app. Combined with the fact that adding your own items does not allow you to add the macro composition without going premium is a real show stopper. That's a basic function that pretty much all competitors offer. Don't shoot yourself in the leg by being greedy. You won't convert users going premium for basics - right from the beginning with the first steps they're taking with your app, but only frustrate them, causing uninstalls

I didn't even sign up. As soon as I opened it, it asked me what my goal is. I chose "be more active." Right after that it asked me how active I am. I chose "Sedentary." It immediately proceeded to tell me that my "calories goal" to "reach my target weight" (WHAT TARGET WEIGHT? It never asked me about my target or current weight!) is 2378 kcal!! I'm 160 cm tall (5'3") and weight 50kg (110 lbs). If I were to consistently eat 2378 kcal I'd be obese within a few months. 😕 Is this a joke?

App has a big vision. But like most it falls short. If used for whole foods before adding to recipes then it usually works. Pre-packaged goods and mixed goods fail. Needs a barcode scanner to overcome this. Once it gets over it's obstacles. This could be a game changer.

Cute name, big promises, but lots of issues. 1) why is it nearly 10 gb installed? Fresh install, no data and it's.9.5 GB. That's unacceptable. Makes me very suspicious of what the app is doing. 2) first run experience is not good. For some reason it didn't record my answers the first time and after I made an account, asked me the same questions AGAIN. frustrating. 3) why is image recognition and bar code scanning seperate functions??? Other apps combine them, as you might expect. Poor ux.

You change the way we track our steps like adding Fitbit Samsung watch I watched any other device that can connect to this app so it can have a proper reading of how many steps we are making in a day? Also I can't change the calorie intake that I wants to track like I want to put 1200 calories but I can't do that. I have to actually change the amount of exercise that I do in a day in order for it to get close to that amount of calories that I want to track. I should be able to manually the calories that I want to put in. Please can you change that. Also it's not picking up some things that I try to take picture up it's way off base when I take a picture of something simple and it can't register it. thank you.

. i can't edit incorrect food on the database. or report the error. a 25g seed shot is not 1cal! it's not safe. I'm 5'7" and, just to see if I could, i put a goal weight of just 80 pounds (seriously underweight) and a rate of 2 pounds a week, and your ap didn't flag this up.
