The app is solid - does what it's supposed to do. I wish there were a way to mute the audio notifications regarding connected devices. I'll be in a meeting and all of a sudden it gets muted while a synthesized voice tells me "connection to lost," only to have it happen again five minutes later, this time my meeting being muted to inform me "connected to ." It's quite annoying. Other than that, which may pertain to the device itself, the app works well.

Your new modes option destroyed the noise cancelling completely...and I sadly did it mid-work day while running a wood chipper. (Super loud for those who've never used one.) Please fix or provide me a way to return it to how it was. The three quick settings were perfect. I had it set to full, half, and none. Perfect. I may as well go back to carrying around my Makita stereo if I can hear EVERYTHING anyways. Fix it. Now.

Really disappointing. Recent update has removed functionality to vary noise reduction level via App. Now you can only define a set of ridiculously named 'modes' and switch between these which removes simple practicality that existed previously. Connection to headphones is hit and miss and really slow. App quality is just not at the same quality level of the headphones which are excellent - which makes it all the more disappointing and tarnishes the brand. Wish I could go back to old version.

The fact that the new headphone line needs its own app to use all features is beyond appalling. I guess the reason is that the features the bose 700 supports aren't possible over Bluetooth alone. Unfortunately the connection is buggy beyond recognition. Most of the time the app isn't able to connect to the headphones so basically every 30 seconds they try to connect and loose the connection again. Never again will I buy bose headphones if they require an extra app to use all features.

Update reduced noise cancellation I liked it better prior update. Now even on 100% noise cancellation I hear every announcement on the train and phone conversation and conversation. The no noise cancellation amplifies the conversations to louder than the actual conversation. I can hear another passenger's phone conversation, but the other person's input. Please rectify.

I happened to find out that the app refuses to connect to the alredy paired device unless the GPS is turned on. I don't keep the GPS on all the tirne to save battery as well as to prevent the DriveWise app from falsely logging a trip while on the train. When this happens you are left without the ability to change settings if you happen to loose gps signal. Also doesn't seem to persist your mode settings. Sony's Headphone app never insists on GPS being turned on once a headphone is paired.

Really unhappy with the latest firmware update to my QC earbuds. The modes are ok I suppose but the previous method for altering the NC was better. The real problem is that I'm now experiencing a weird effect while listening to podcasts where the voices seem to drift across the soundstage from left or right to centre and back again. This is super irritating and never happened in the old version. Please fix or let us rollback the firmware!

For those struggling with QC buds connection through the app, don't allow access to contacts. That made this thing work for me. Otherwise it would just hang during connection process. Also it's a gouge to get geo location. Get rid of it. I don't care how benevolent you tell me it is.

This version sucks!! I loved the manual noise cancellation from before this stupid update. Very very disappointing!!! Being back the noise cancelation function!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my bose headphones and that feature was one of the reasons I loved them so much. Guess bose doesn't care about the customer experience.

The buds work well ... once you can sync them with the app. Therein lies the problem. When I connect my buds to my phone and launch the app, it can't always find them. You think you've done something incorrectly so you go through it with painstaking diligence but still come up empty. I have deleted/reinstalled the buds AND the app. Problem recurs. For what should be an amazing experience, considering the fact that BOSE touts them as premium product, the app takes away from that lustre.
