I used it for about a month and found it to be the most repetitive exercise app, after using several others. So I stopped using it, confirmed my app was not set for automatic renewal, and what do you know, they just charged me to renew it. And after following up with them repeatedly and explaining that my app indicated I was not set for automatic renewal, they refused to refund me. Not sure if that's fraud, but it seems really shady to me. I've switched back to using the Leap Fitness apps which I much prefer, I feel like I get a much better workout, and have heard great things about the fitbit coach so will try that next.

app I've been using Freeletics for 3 years now, initially on the free version which I used a lot when I didn't have gym access when I first got it and got incredible results. I've used it sporadically since but now gone back to it full time during the pandemic. Now using the paid subscription for the full app and coach and I love it! There's a variety of programs to choose and the coach adapts your training based on the feedback you provide the app. Really versatile. 100% recommend it.

mod apk I have used Freeletics as my main training programme now for years. I work away alot and often don't have access to much space or equipment and find this perfect. After an ongoing injury and some time away from training using freeletics helped me loose over 8kgs and I'm now at 33 feeling as fit as I was in my early 20's. The programme is challenging and the coaching programme keeps progress going and stops me getting bored, and never fails to put me out of my comfort zone!

transformation I was a big fan until I tried to access my training plan on the web and found out two things. 1. mobile and web don't seem to sync training plans, so the web app had no idea what plan I was doing on my mobile device 2. My subscription appears to only be valid for mobile. Apparently I'd have to buy a second subscription at FULL PRICE to access any training on the web. I've been doing freeletics on and off for a couple of years. I wont be renewing.

workout Have been using this consistently for almost a year and still consider myself as a newbie since i set the intensity not too high. Big thank you for you guys for developing this app. two requests, if you guys could provide estimated calories burnt for every exercise and add variety to the exercises, that would really be helpful

  6. Jo Sprague-avatar

vs gym Frustratingly unfocused, but otherwise good. I wish the UI was simplified just to focus on the training sessions and not surfacing other distractions. I honestly find it hard to get started on my session because the app throws irrelevant information at me that gets me off track. The UI designers for this app should try using it daily. It's confusing. But the workouts themselves are good.

and running Auto-renew without prior reminder. No refund even if you forgot to cancel and asked for a refund immediately after payment. Aside from that, the "trainer" was way off for 3-4 weeks, alternating between extremely easy and impossible workouts. Did not work for me at all. Devious subscription practices.

erfahrungen Hi Freeletics can I use the previous version? because I still can't watch the video tutorial in the latest app version. I've contacted support, here's the response "We are aware that some users have been having this problem and our team is actively looking into this. I have sent the additional details on to our technical team. Hopefully this issue will be solved as soon as possible." The previous version works perfectly fine. I regret update my app 😖

workout plan pdf Love the app. Best part about freeletrics team is that they are always adding new features to the app making it better. And the customer service is top notch as well. I have interacted with them on few occasions and never been disappointed. Keep up the good work. Been a freeathlete for over 3 years now

free Really nice app, It have many challenging workouts sets and can sync with Google health, I made my workout progressions more faster because I can track them. I had only one complain. Is necessary duplicate a video for explain an workout for the left and right perspective? Can you just put like an perspective for the exercise just mirroring the image? please be considered with our memory space

Its really helped me improve my overall strength and fitness. The degree of accountability it adds and the variety of workouts keeps things interesting and challenging. Have noticed a big difference. Edit: don't really appreciate some of the new demonstrators. Some of them have really bad form and terrible posture.

Love this app! I was not an athlete at all as I was overweight. Thanks to freeletics I'm changing into the best version of myself! The coach is fantastic and there are a lot of exercises. Now I'm into 'run and burn' journey and I love it. Maybe I would like some training circuits that require a rope and a punching bag since I would like them too😁

  13. Gusztáv Lőcsei-avatar

This is a great app. That fact that you can pretty much tailor made your training to exercise wherever you are makes it super easy to stick with your travel journey! I have struggled for years to stick with any fitness activities on the long run but Freeletics made it! Totally worth the subscription.

Would be nice if you add the effect on specific muscles from each exercise. For example, if the picture of affected muscles was in the video instruction of a specific exercise. This way it'd be easier to adjust the technique because we'd know what muscle we should feel during a specific exercise.

  15. Ryan Timm-avatar

    Ryan Timm

They updated since my last post, you are able to do day to day, instead of a set week so it can adapt. But the coach algorithm is still garbage for new people and if you are struggling with an exercise or simply can't physically do it. There is no way to look at a replacement for it mid exercise. Example tells me to do strict pull ups cant do them, no way to know a good replacement on the spot. Have to complete and say I had to replace. Then it tells me to do pull ups next week.......

  16. Georgiana Ursu-avatar

    Georgiana Ursu

Awful support on refund. I asked for a refund of the renewal on the date it charged me as I can't use the app in the next months due to health issue. They sent me a generic response saying I won't get the money back ( even if I haven't use the renewal at all) because of their policy. I won't get the app again!

  17. Frederick Iyela-avatar

    Frederick Iyela

Personally, I can REALLY see and feel the results of the exercises. They're tailored to what you're trying to achieve. You are accountable for your own progress and success. I definitely recommend this app for at-home training; especially during this period of COVID and social distancing.

  18. Фабиан Айала-avatar

    Фабиан Айала

This is the BEST WORKING OUT APP OUT THERE. If you take advantage of the coach it'll create a personal workout for you according to workout journey you select and gradually increase intensity. If you get a subscription you won't be disappointed. FOR APP DEVELOPERS: PLEASE ADD A FEATURE THAT ALLOWS US TO CUSTOMIZE OUR OWN WORKOUT.

  19. Jeevith Shetty-avatar

One of the best excercise apps and worth the subscription. You get a personalised coach ( The AI ) which brilliantly plans my excercise according to my needs. It considers your weaknesses and strengths and maps it all out for you. All you need is a motivation to do the excercise. What I love is you can choose to equipments, runs, and even excercise quietly. Brilliant!!! Would recommend to anyone who has the motivation to excercise but aren't really the gym types.

  20. Thomas Cannon-avatar

Has been a brilliant alterative to the gym during lockdown. The algorithm keeps things varied and interesting, and really helps me to push myself. The only thing I felt I was missing was a clearer way of tracking progress.

  21. Luv sharma-avatar

The only thing I miss is in the earlier version you had a chance to start from the beginner level. Now we do not have this flexibility but to adjust the workout to make it easier from the options provided.

  22. Kevin Hepworth-avatar

    >Have to make an account >Automatically signed up for annoying emails of course >Fill in all the details about yourself >Choose any program >Turns out you have to pay for subscription before you can do ANYTHING. Complete waste of time... I don't like giving out 1 stars, but apps like these that disrespect you and your time are utter garbage.

Great app. I have been using this app for the last 1.5 years. I have reduced 8kgs within 6months. I still continue using it to maintain my fitness and muscle gain. It would be good if you allow us to customize resting period for barbell gains journey.

I'm extremely disappointed with the auto-renew process. My subscription has ended and without any reminder/notice it was renewed. My request for a refund was declined by an automated email which left a bad taste regarding the entire engagement and the care for myself as a customer.

Awesome... Motivating.. have been using this since Jan 2020, the benefits are real, the optional meal plans are good. It is truly Freestyle Athletics. No, its mot "free" - i dont see you getting Spotify or Netflix for free either ! Lol. Costs very little... and more than worth it :)

Workout are intense but all of them really help! For the fact that you spend not more then 3k INR for a year it's the best thing to have! I am looking to have this app being provided to all my atheletes who ride on track! Kodo's to the team!

Ok, I was about to buy the coach, but it just won't let me but only the training coach, but only the bundle with the nutrition one, it's so good damn frustrating, I was there for like an hour trying to buy only the training coach but it just won't let me do it, in pc it does but don't do anything after putting the card information. So an app that doesn't even works for me to pay, can't trust it for my training then

No refund issued after seeing the auto renew charge in my bank account, even though I canceled less than 24 hours after the payment. I've been in contact with customer service and they refuse to issue a refund. Never has a company before refused a refund for a service I wasn't using, especially one that I canceled mere hours after the renewal charge. Doesn't leave a good impression of this company at all.

  32. WastelandViking-avatar

It is a really good workout at any difficulty you want. If you want to start small and progress you can! Or if you already know what you're doing and can go harder, by all means, do that too!

So far so good! I have a real motivation problem, I have tried a heap of yoga and fitness and weight loss apps but this is the first one to keep me interested and motivated without being in your face with notifications and without making me feel shame for missing a workout. Just do it tomorrow. Love it. Free to use but I highly recommend getting the coach to guide you if you are as lost in fitness as I am.

Although I paid a large amount for a yearly membership, I'm getting spammed with unwanted popups and even notifications for discounts for workout equipment. I even complained to support about this and they acted as if they didn't know what I'm talking about. This is completely unacceptable.

  44. Rahim Hirji-avatar

    Rahim Hirji

Underhand subscription payment. The app itself is good, but due to circumstances, I didn't use it that much, forgot about it and I just got a charge for another whole year without notice which they won't refund because it's part of their policy. So I have paid for two whole years of something I barely used. It's 2020 and this feels deceitful with a company that doesn't care. They just want your money. If you like the product, sign up. Then cancel your annual subscription so you have the option.

Some videos can not be downloaded and and some do not play at all or stutter during training after the last update. Impossible to use the app now. Developers of the app not helpful, so uninstalling and asking for a refund. Update: Developers do not take responsibility for technical issues mentioned above. Worst customer support in any app I have used and no refund, even though they broke the app with the last update and 90% of their client base hates the update.

I enjoyed doing exercises with freeletics coach. But later I noticed the exercises are repeatedly the same in every alternate session. Its good but I personally prefer variety of exercises, which makes me doing exercise every day more energetically and I enjoy doing it. Else it was a good experience with freeletics, very nice app. till now, easy to use and friendly interface.

Nice app with a nice approach. However with a few big disadvantages. 1. It is not possible to replace specific exercises with a different one (in case of limitations, injuries, or because I just want to). This seems like a minimum requirement from such an app, unfortunately this is the main reason I've canceled my subscription. 2. Cooldown exercises are running on time (seconds) and one after another. The option of starting the exercise by myself is not there. Making it not productive.

  50. Şafak Kaya-avatar

    Şafak Kaya

Nice app, I like workout sessions and AI works very good. But, there are a few issues. First, during the round transition, if the workout has specific time range, app does not give you a few seconds to change your position. Secondly, this kind of apps has to include yoga sessions. Walking is kind of workout. You should add it. Also, I would like to add custom workout.

  51. Denis Chernysh-avatar

UI/UX pretty poor after update. New videos are not adjusted, for example, 1/3 of a persons head is cut by screen edge. New videos on white background are terrible, it tears down an association with gym. Instead of answering on feature request you've made app worse. I won't renew my subscription, sadly, cause previous version of app was much better

  52. Sarvesh Mehrotra-avatar

    Sarvesh Mehrotra

The only thing you'll ever need to exercise. No more excuses. Been using it regularly for 2 months now, and it is amazing! Once you pay to get the ai powered coach, it becomes your fitness mentor, gradually introducing harder exercises, more reps. You'll be tired after every session, but will feel great for having accomplished that little bit more than you thought you were capable of. I've never in my life been regular with exercise but this app just helped me do that.

  53. Christopher Klettermayer-avatar

    Christopher Klettermayer

When first using it it was a great way to get into a routine. Sadly, the more I progressed, the worse it got - there's a definite lack of adjustment. The daily trainings were either way too easy, or way too difficult. There's nothing in between. No moderation. To an extent that I stopped using it gradually, since it became a choice between doing nothing and being sore the rest of the day. The gym-lingo (or pseudo motivational "there is no quitting" attitude) is highly annoying. Theres a reason i dont go to the gym. Grunting around like apes is one of them.

  54. Sexy Vicky-avatar

It's good but it doesn't focus on injury prevention. I don't see any emphasis given on proper warm up, especially with regards to prevention of joint injuries, just sweat it out o personally don't find it appealing. You should hire a physiotherapist and plan accordingly. The exercises in themselves are good. I see high chances of injury with this and my shoulders are anyway injured. Focus on injury prevention too,not everyone is equally flexible or mobile. Hope to see the change!

Overall great app to keep or get you more active. I started using it while in quarantine. It really helped me keep active and improve my fitness level beyond just running. While haven't used features that use equipment or included running, the only things I think can be looked at improving would be that the summaries usually included excersizes that didn't matter to me personally lol. 150 jumping jacks as apposed to 100 burpees lol. Just my 2cents. That's about it for now from me.

The "coach" (the computer algorithms behind the scenes) is quite dumb. When I started, sessions were around 60 minutes, with several different parts of different exercises. It was perfect. After months of me saying the vast majority of my sessions were OK, with just a few being a little too hard and also some being too easy, it suddenly started reducing the sessions duration. First to 45 minutes, then 30, and now I'm down to 15 minutes, with only warmup, exercise, and cooldown. And the exercise part usually only takes 7-9 minutes. Sometimes I try to adapt sessions because I want to adapt just one single exercise to make it easier or harder but it's not possible, I can only generate a completely different session. The feedback is also not very intuitive or logical. First, I'm asked if the session was OK, too easy, too hard, etc. And then I'm asked if I could perform all exercises with the correct techinque, rating it on a scale. It doesn't make much sense to do it this way because most of the times I struggle with something, it's just a single exercise, not the entire exercise block, but I have no way of rating single exercises. I wonder if this is why my sessions got cut down. I know that if I say I struggled with something, I can specify which exercise it was but what about the other exercises, how are those rated? What's worse, I see no way of ramping up my sessions again without completely resetting my journey and losing all my history. I was enjoying Freeletics until recently but this has really brought the whole thing down for me.

The app is really good and most of the times works really well. However, there are a lot of small features that I would have expected to be present by now and it simply doesn't exist. For example: - time based exercises start automatically, even if you are not ready. - can't replace single exercises of a set. - not always the muscle groups that is gonna be used is shown. - you can't see the muscle groups you used Inna previous session - no record of time spend on Interval trainings

  59. Sqe Eze-avatar

Really great fitness coach. Been using it for 5 months now and it feels great. Teaining sessions are created by your performance and goals. Using the feedback you give, after each session adjusts the training even more individually. Only complain I have are the stretches. Instead of tapping when you're done with the exercise (just like the other exercises), it cycles through all the positions, without giving enough time to change the position. I prefer using my own alarm clock to track the time.

  60. Bruno Soares-avatar

I really like this app and intend to continue using it. It's improving over time, and that's great. The blog is really nice as well! I would like to be able to take more control over my training. Eg. Choosing the exercises I like more. Or when I occasionally run it count somehow for the training. Also about the statistics I would like it on the training coach, not have to buy the nutrition plan to have it also.

It's nice. The personal coach is a nice feature. But it could have audio instructions during the exercises. It's annoying to stop every exercise and wait 4 minutes for a video to load to give the instructions, and there we also have to look at the screen, no audio at all. Also there's no time for changing timed exercises, like in the cooldown. Anyway, I've paid for it and will try to make the best used of the app

Seems pretty good so far. Only thing is, there's no way to say "I could only do x amount" or "I couldn't do this exercise" with bodyweight exercises. Which is annoying, because I don't know how you're supposed to progress when it just keeps giving you exercises you can't do, without subbing them for exercises to work up to it? You also can't say you don't like an exercise to have it excluded.

  64. ECE ÖZDEMİR-avatar

Excellent app. Just some advices to the developers...It would be useful to adjust one or more parts of the training program due to the lack of proper equipment, instead of changing the whole training of the day. And would be better if extra 2 3 sec is given between the moves especially during stretching.

So far so good. An app that you could exercise really hard if your willing power is strong enough. Just some user experience needs to improve. 1. Giving preparation time for 5 seconds before every exercise starts. We need time to change posture. 2. Speaking out every exercise name before it starts. We don't need to look at phone and only knows the exercise if we are already familiar with them. 3. A pause button during workout. Sometimes we need to pause when something come in.

I'm using the freeletics app for about 6 months now and absolutely love it. Only downside is that there are little to none biceps exercises in the bodyweight & weights journey as well as the weights only journey. If you guys could fix that, I'd definitely give 5 stars.

Not worth the money. Everything this app charges for is available for free elsewhere. The AI coach is not very intelligent, the reading and audio sessions are trite, the interface needs a lot of work and the session flow is thoughtlessly executed. There are one or two good qualities like you can rebuild the session to be quiet if you are training late, but you could do that with your brain too. Not worth what they want to charge. Try it free for 14 days and see what a ripoff it is.

I've been using freeletics for more than a year now and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. It has a very intuitive user interface, and even though it relies on the basic "don't break a streak" psych trick to help you build the habit of exercise, if you do miss a day or a week (you will, inevitably) it doesn't make you start from scratch. Rather, it makes you continue as usual, with maybe an extra "coming back" week so the coach can re-assess your fitness level. Customer service is very good

Sceptical at first, I've found this app a great motivator, especially in lockdown. I've now finished 2 training journeys and can easily see and recap demonstrable progress of fitness. Just a couple of things that I think could use working: There isn't much fanfare when you level up. Why have it if you don't notice it? Secondly, I would love a program that focusing on moving you from assistancen, to full chin-ups, built into the journeys. These would just be nice-to-haves.

Great app, but getting a little worse with each update. The new videos are not as good as the previous ones. They are not as instructive or as clear as the old ones and the white background uses more battery. I've also been using the new view reluctantly, don't like that you the future exercises are not shown at the start. Also, after three years, would prefer is all these resources were put into developing new exercises for the couch and maybe a better algorithm.

I have to be on my mobile internet to start the app first then I can go wi-fi to download videos and etc. I cannot login my training session without mobile internet. This is really inconvenient. Also if I am warningup or coolingdown, for example, it counts down from 30 sec. and when it comes 0 it started immediately from 30 sec for the next exercise.

Firstly the name as ironic as you don't get much for free. I am a runner so I was looking for workouts to complement that, with focus on upper body and core strength. Despite the promise of virtual coaching and configurability, this app really just seems to offer a set of fixed exercise programmes with a focus on cardio & HIT style intensity. If that's what you are looking for this might be for you, but it's the lack of that promised "100% individualized Coach" that leads tme to give it 2 stars.

I subscribed two years ago and I find the app amazing. However, I think that the exercises are not motivating us to go out of our comfort zone. Why don't you include some tabata sessions for examples? Moreover, the warming up and the stretching should be more tailored on the exercises done during the session. Thanks a lot. Last update doesn't allow to change track (spotify) during exercises

I have been to the gym for years. I looked up exercises on the interweb, followed peer advice, used a trainer, even tried other video and app trainers. This is the absolute best for me. It shows you all the moves, it requires no equipment (although if you have some it works out in), it shows the full range of motion in normal and slow motion speed. It has built in programs that let you target your goals. Then as you train it takes your performance feed you provide and tweaks training everyda

It is good app I like the way you describe the exercises but the videos before last update was better especially for those who are not good with English so I hope you put previous videos along with new one .. bad thing is that no direct contact with coach and no way to add any note for them , you only put a specific options to choose from

Overall great app. There's a few things that could be set up a little better like being able to see how far through the coach journeys you are, as in there is no way of telling if next week is a deload week or a hell week. Also unable to de select access to equipment or say that you only have free weights but no rack or bench. Would be great to say only have access to barbells with Max load of 30kg and have it calculate reps accordingly. Still, its a great app

Very good application, loads of training programs to choose from, good custom adaptability of AI to personal needs, injuries, fitness level. Freeletics motivates me to keep it up. Broad set of motivational audio and text too. Points of improvement: tracking of performance over time, access to past performances, data visualizations, better GPS-function (this could be hardware-related).

Having never been an 'exercise person', after using Freeletics for three months has gotten me into great shape and is definitely embedding health as a habit for me. I was put off by other apps featuring intimidating looking trainers, and am finding that Freeletics takes the time to promote a healthy balanced mindset as well as the body coaching. The new training videos are better in the sense that it shows different views, but the setting in the old ones were way better and were looking more professional. After a solid 6 months of use 3x/week, now on my 3rd (or 4th) training journey, this ap has become extremely boring. I understand that the beauty is that it requires no equipment, but surely there must be more than squats and burpees. Suggestions: More options for modifying routine (e.g. very small space, just a slippery floor, etc.). Journeys should take into account progress made in previous journeys. A way to keep track of journeys completed (now I've even forgotten whether I've done 3 or 4).

Freeletics really is better than other apps. It can track the miles you run using GPS. It gets progressively harder each work out session getting you to perform more and more difficult exercises that at first I could not do. Different programs for everyone like a heavy weight program or a body weight program or a runners program. Gods are advanced sessions and it's fun to challenge yourself or others that you follow or follow you by beating each others workout times.

Really not happy with this app. You can't get very far without paying for it and after paying for it you're still bombarded with push notifications or in app promotions asking you to pay more money. As for me the experience it's been great. It has a nice amount of independence but enough accompaniment and instruction. It's been the very first time I stick to exercise this way. Really useful training program but beware the automatic subscription renewal which will charge to your credit card the day your current subscription lapses and they will not refund this. On my third journey now, really loving the app so far. The way harder versions (or higher reps) of exercises are gradually introduced gives a nice sense of progression which, together with the tracking of your personal bests, helps keeping you highly motivated and committed. Only feature it's missing that I'd really love to see implemented is the ability to tell the coach to exclude from a workout exercises targeting specific muscles/body parts, to account for injuries.

  100. Peter Davy-avatar

Poorly designed app which requires user to complete feedback multiple times throughout the workout this breaks immersion and slows down workouts. This feedback I believe has little to no impact on the next proscribed workout and gives the user a false level of personalised training. Rubbish and a waste of money, I suggest investing time in other apps such as FitOn which gives you live workouts for free.

Don't buy it! I bought the whole year thinking that I would use it. Great intentions. But the reality is that, you have to jump through hoops to set it up and even when you do that the work out that gives you is so limited. Not enough stuff for people who wants to do exercise without equipment. Look up some YouTube videos, you will be better off.

Cons - the apps functionality is mediocre workouts are quite repetitive The "coach" feature is a joke - just call it random mode Way to expensive for what it is No additional features you would expect from a premium app Pros - made me download the Nike workout app, which is better and free Decent production of the videos for the exercises, although they don't really explain proper form

If you're on the fence about the app, and specifically the paid for subscription, then my advice would be to avoid it. You may find yourself wanting to walk away for any of the reasons listed in the other reviews, but if you seek a refund immediately after payment (aside from your first), they offer nothing. The payments are very expensive as they cover a 3 month period. I'd highly recommend you use one of the many other fitness apps on the market.

There are routines that are hard but keeps on appearing in my daily program. It's hard to give accurate feedback since the questionnare after every sesion is limited. I like the visuals. Great app, I lost weight and got fitter with it. However, I preferred it with the old instructional videos, with brief pauses and on-screen graphics showing how to do the excersise properly. Now it really feels like a cheap GIF instructions app similar to most workout apps avalaible.

Best workout app I've ever used. Suggestion: Profile section shows individual parts of the past workouts with (hours/days/weeks) count. I wish it was more modular, like "Your Daily Recaps" with Date of workout written on it and opening individual Recap showed other details like the ones mentioned in profile section about the workout. That would make the workout tracking a bit easier and cleaner.

Great app, doesn't cut your audio off during countdowns. I'd love to see some journeys specific to certain exercises/movements ie assisted pull up to muscle up, or not being able to do pancake stretch to then doing splits, etc. Maybe even stretches/routines for trouble areas. I know this app bodyweight, being able to opt into basic at home gym equipment like a dumbell or kettle bells etc, would make this a keeper. Good app for lockdown but I don't know if I'll keep it when the gym opens back up.

The best fitness app I've used and I've tried and quit and retried too many. There are some good ones out there I won't name but this app keeps me motivated with very structured journeys (guided programs), great content (I work in email marketing so this is a qualified review), and even meditations I sometimes use in place of my meditation app of choice. My suggestion, if you want to get the full diet and exercise experience, couple this with the Nutrition app.

Pro's 1.There are a lot of workouts available in free mode itself. 2.Paid membership is quite cheap compared to other apps at $20 for 6 months. Con's 1.The AI coach is hit or miss. Have to reset coach a few times to get the right intensity. 2.Exercise videos don't show which muscle to concentrate on. 3.Cool down mode is continuous. Tough to follow. The app recorded it as a complete training and gave me full points with no way to edit. I deleted it because it's better to not record at all than have wrong stats. Great app to reach you fitness goal!!! I started using it at the beginning of the year and it is amazing. I love that it challenges me, and brings the best out of me when I work out. It makes me to want to be better every week!
