  1. Jonah Sibley-avatar

Overall, I really like the app. I enjoyed the program and the workouts did seem personalized based on feedback. The app pushed me then and I made noticeable improvements. But the app could definitely use some upgrades. You can only see one workout in advance, which makes it hard to plan your week. Journeys also have themed phases, ending with a hell week, but I never know what phase I am in or when I start the next one. This inability to plan is why I will not be continuing my subscription.

  2. Jairo Mejia-avatar

I think it needs some features to make it even better. It would be great to adapt the journey according to your goal (volume, definition, less weight) I can change it just at the beginning, but now that I want to make Definition I can't see the option.

  3. Guilherme Rito-avatar

The app itself is great. However, given the amount that you pay, one would expect it to have better integrations with other apps like MyFitnessPal. Also, the workouts do not give any estimation on the calories spent in the workout. Although one can argue that this depends on how you do the workouts and varies from person to person, it doesn't seem too hard to take the feedback that the app already asks for each exercise into account, our weight and height, etc, to give a rough estimate of kcals

  4. Mandy Sinning-avatar

It's okay, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I wish the app communicated with you more. It would be nice, for example, if during the training session the "coach" said # of reps (since they change between sets sometimes) and reminded you of form. Also, I would like to see the option to edit your training session if you made a mistake on the feedback. In general the app isn't bad, it's just not very user friendly, which is disappointing since you are paying for it.

  5. Frederik Nagel-avatar

Timekeeping seems to be a widespread issue. The 5-1 countdown voice is sometimes completely out of sync with the visual timer. The visual timer hangs on the same time for a few seconds, before jumping ahead. When I was running a timer in the background (something in the oven while working out), the app crashed completely.

  6. numatyaning atyasita-avatar

    numatyaning atyasita

I got great experience with this app. The program really helps me as a beginner. My abs started to be built on the 3rd week. It's been almost 3 months for me. The only downside is I'm not getting any significant progress since the past month maybe because my body is already get used to the moves??

  7. Bernard Rechico Moisan-avatar

    Bernard Rechico Moisan

Decent app with a good database of circuits and exercises. I'm currently doing the hybrid running plan and I've been enjoying it. One of my problems however is that if I run on a day where I didn't have training I cant add that into the app, and it does not track your activity. It also doesnt connect to my garmin vivomove hr watch which is a missed opporunity. And I also feel like the cool-down are not long enough at all. The 4 stretches are good but there needs to be more.

  8. Ali Tagizade-avatar

Well, I'm in love with this app!!! I'm stronger, more agile, been able to lose weight! The coach is great and you can also adapt the sessions if you think they'll be too hard/easy. There are a few things missing * Integration with my Garmin smartwatch that will allow exercising while the phone is at home. * Running with GPS is not always reliable and often distances are not accurate and I run more than mentioned! They could just "trust" me on measuring distances. * More stretching exercises

  9. Ellisa Kamula-avatar

I like this app but I think it could improve. 1)improve coach algo so that it considers injuries & doesn't constantly provide exercices that don't work if you have a bad knee, shoulder etc. 2)let users request a modification or swap of just one exercise instead of requiring the entire set change. Also ask if change is due to degree of difficultu, injury or soar muscles. 3) Don't put sets with the same exercise in the same workout. It makes it redundant and boring

  10. Andra G-avatar

Great - but PLEASE fix this last update issue: I can't view the alternative exercise (the easier version) within the workout videos anymore! Before this last update it was possible to click on the video of one of the exercises (e.g. pushups) and get at the end the suggestion of the alternative version (e.g. knee pushups). I am not going to consult the table from your website each time I start a new work out, and then be back to the app to search its video in the single list exercises by name.

  11. Veroni Vajdova-avatar

I am really introverted and had some bad experience with a gym I used to go to, so I really wanted something that would give me some guidance and would not be too expensive. I tried so many apps and I have to say, this app is close to perfect. You get proper explanation of each exercise, you can see what you're supposed to be doing while you're working out, nice stats, motivation and it's really affordable even for a student! Recommended ♥

  12. Gerson Largo-avatar

Best Bodyweight Fitness App Ever!— I've been boxing during my younger years and I completely stopped for almost over a decade. Freeletics helped me get back into shape. This app definitely needs commitment and a lot of time for continuous improvement. I recommend this for anyone looking to get back into shape, get shredded, or want to tone their body.

  13. jpabon1-avatar

I'm less fat with every passing week. It helps me remain accountable for my workouts. Though it may start on the lighter side, when you let the app know that things are too easy it'll bring the intensity level up. Overall, for the price of subscription I think it's great.

  14. satish kumar-avatar

I am very satisfied with my journey so far with freeletics. Although, I see a little scope for improvement in the areas like suggesting exercises for a specific muscle group to build them stronger. I'm feeling a little weak in my shoulders but don't find a program or a workout which helps in strengthening those muscles.

  15. Svetoslav Petrov-avatar

The app is ok, BUT THEN one you figure out that the subscription has automatically renewed - something that was NOT clear to me. I said to myself: "Ok, maybe I am just dumb and haven't noticed. I will unsubscribe now." Good luck with that. They tell you you can click on an imaginary, invisible, non existing Manage Subscriptions button. After 30 minutes of looking EVERYWHERE in the app and in Play store I found NO WAY to unsubscribe. I contacted Support which THEN gives you a link. Unacceptable

  16. Jibin Jacob-avatar

It's a amazing app with lot of great function , i am physiotherapist even though I know many exercise and I am teaching others how to do exercise, sometimes when you have no one to push you to do exercise you will not do it . So I decided to give this app a try . And I got results I see my body in shape and much more powerful , with great transformation I have 4 packs now and i started with a tummy . I was 70 kg being 5.10 feet hight I brought it to 63 kg. With more muscles.

  17. Ray Trigo-avatar

Be careful with subscription! Billing experience is misleading and cancellation is unclear and cannot be done through the app. Customer Service is auto response based. They will not provide a refund if charged, even if it's the same day as transaction. Automatic Auto renewal is hidden default and at a premium price. Bad experience. 1 star.

  18. Natasha Villaroman-avatar

    Natasha Villaroman

Disappointing in the end. It looked promising so my boyfriend and I upgraded to 3mos. We tried a session and was surprised that we have to press Next every time we finish a routine, the Rest times are super long, and overall routines are repetitive and boring. A 20min session ended up as 45mins because we were awkwardly fumbling through the app. There should've been a free trial, now we want a refund.

  19. Ani Ohanyan-avatar

So far the best workout app I have found. At first I bought the nutrition as well but did not use it. The workouts are good you get to see videos that roughly explain how to do it if you are new to fitness. It works for more advanced fitness as well. Really good workouts if you don't want any equipment.

  20. Nikhil Karande-avatar

I personally do not find this app useful. In addition I uninstalled the app over 10 months ago but my subscription was active in the background which I assume would be discontinued. The app charged me for another year - fair enough I should have been careful to cancel the subscription but upon writing to the help desk for a refund I was told "According to policies" they cannot refund a yearly subscription - clearly they want to make money off you without any ounce of consideration for consumer

  21. Anastasia Kladova-avatar

    Anastasia Kladova

I bought a three months subscription, and used it only twice. My experience wasn't great 😭 I think the developers need to spend more time designing user friendly app experience. Every time I ended the excersize and wanted to move on, it would ask me if I wanted to exit the workout. So the user experience def needs an improvement. Waste of money for me .

  22. Jan Knoblich-avatar

App in itself was fine. Customer support is in my opinion a living nightmare. I forgot to cancel my subscription and tried to get a refund on the day it was renewed and was told that it wasn't possible. Rather predatory in my opinion. Edit: after a 2nd email they now refunded me in full.

  23. joyal thomas-avatar

They charge you 2 days before your subscription ends. When I told them I didn't want to continue my subscription and requested for a refund, before confirming it with me they cancelled my subscription and said they cannot refund my money too. I agree with their policy of no refund during renewal period but if you have already charged me how can you not let me use my next 3 months subscription. You guys are cheat! The customer support is not even responding now

With or without the coach training it's an amazing app to use. I have subscribed for six months. It's just been 4 days and I'm loving it. With other apps we get lazy.. with this app you feel like you're about to achieve something great. It may sound like exaggeration but trust me it's worth a shot.

  25. Andrew Leuthold-avatar

    Andrew Leuthold

Good but missing something. How to videos are good. I like the workouts. However, on the runs I'd like more encouragement and helpful technique tips from my coach. I'd also like to see some dumbbell options. I have some dumbbells but not barbells. Would like to incorporate that.

  26. Dominic Stewart-avatar

    Dominic Stewart

Very disappointing for what it claims to do. A real lack of variety and adaptability in a lot of the workouts, with very little function to actually adapt your own coach programs. Can't even see what's coming up in your own coach session. Definitely not worth the cost.

  27. Jamme Jerdee-avatar

Kicking my butt in a good way. Love how it has demonstration vids. Only my 3rd workout but it is exhilarating. I dont like gyms but I can do this anywhere I'm comfortable. Love the nutrition far I really like this. It's the first app I feel like sticking with after a round

  28. Shlomo Dayan-avatar

I used this app a few times. I didn't like the experience so I switched to another app. The disturbing part is the game playing at freeletics as they still haven't given me a refund. I provided them with screenshots of my order confirmation and google play receipt and they are still wont refund me and keep asking me for information I already provided.

  29. José Almeida-avatar

The app is ok. The cancelling experience is purposefully a pain, so they can pocket the extra dollars when you forget it - they'll make you go into the web version, rather than the snazzy app, to cancel your subscription. Definitely not a customer centric company.

  30. Chris Karch-avatar

BOGUS CHARGE ON CREDIT CARD. Used the app for a few months. Canceled it as it became too repetitive and I found another app. I just noticed today I was charged again for a 6 month subscription. I was assured 3 months ago that I have cancelled and my card would not be charged!!

  31. Joshua Yurman-avatar

It's is a good workout program but it's seriously expensive and auto-renews. They WILL NOT REFUND after an auto-renewal, I'm out $35 during one of the worst time of my life (laid-off) and they will not make an exception. Yes I was the one who forgot to cancel the auto-renewal, but they have no compassion.

  32. Ankur Pratap Singh-avatar

    Ankur Pratap Singh

I baught 6 month subscription in app for 1950 rs and payment was successful from bank end but app didn't respond on that. And I am not subscribed to the service. I have mailed and send querie through app also did not get any response from developers. This is not good.

  33. Roy Ludan-avatar

Complete ripoff!! **STAY AWAY** Automatic renewal at every end of billing period. you can't change this option from the app. only from the website. cannot get a refund for your money if you accidentally slide to the next billing period. Complete scam!!

  34. Francisco Hernandez-avatar

    Francisco Hernandez

Really great app! I got serious using this at the start of lockdown and I now lost 12 pounds. More important I see my progress in how much better I can cope with the demands of the workouts. I should have got this way sooner!

  35. parampreet billing-avatar

I have been using this app for 3 years and it has never disappointed. Great app to get yourself in shape for a nominal fee. Best you can get out there.

  36. Beta Kovac-avatar

Who would tell that I could have better body in my 40s then I had in my 20s! Yes it's hard, yes sometimes I wanna smash my phone at the wall, but in the end of the day, results are here and I feel amazing! The only regret is that I didn't get the app sooner. Good job guys!

  37. G McConnell-avatar

Get through the first 2 weeks and the coach feature will be on your level if you've been accurate in the feedback. Great way to keep yourself on track and see gains!

  38. Francis Kelleher-avatar

    Francis Kelleher

Love it, fantastic app. Very flexible routines, demanding yet adaptable. Good response to community feedback. Top notch yet always things to improve on, not unlike staying fit 👏👏

  39. Giovanni Russo-avatar

The training plan are very good, I have already saw some results, my endurance increased and I lost some weight. The only small minus is that I asked for training programs without jumps, and I always get jump squats or exercises like that.

  40. Alfie Newsome-avatar

Used it last year, thought it was underdeveloped... Omg, the difference in 2020 in phenomenal! Really seeing progress this year and everything is so clear! Love it!

  41. Simon Hughes-avatar

I'm persevering with this app and I am genuinely seeing results after 3 weeks! Although I admit I am not using the nutrition app much alongside it. I am going to continue to use this app, I think it is well worth the effort! 🙂

  42. Khashina Warren-avatar

    Khashina Warren

Amazing results! If you stick with this plan coupled with nutrition, you will see results, guaranteed. I have lost 25 pounds. You have to stick with it though. I used to be able to share to FB, now I can't.

  43. Noel Mcgrath-avatar

Savage app, savage workouts from home or where ever you like, so much cheaper than any gym and I feel it is working better for me doing my workouts at home, using freeletics, compared to the gym. I love it.

  44. Jose Manuel Reyes Flores-avatar

    Jose Manuel Reyes Flores

So far it has been great. The workout you do is pretty challenging specially if you have not worked out in a while or at all, but it's very rewarding. Haven't crashed, stopped, or given me any trouble.

  45. Jaka Satria Utama-avatar

    Jaka Satria Utama

Props to the customer service team for allowing the renewal payment refund. Usually mobile application will use every way possible to trap us with the payment. I may not be a coach subscriber anymore but hats off.

  46. Ivan Verdian-avatar

Best app for workout at home so far. So simple, just need shoes, matras and a little will power. I've been using this app for more than 5 years.

  47. Yevgeniy Friedland-avatar

    Yevgeniy Friedland

The future is not here. Better than nothing, but can't be compared to a normal coach plan. So here is the list of issues 1. I put an option to include runs, thinking the app will give me running sessions, but it adds runs to the regular workouts, like 10 push-ups 20 squats then 20m sprint. My goal for the app was to do strength and mobility exercises from home and then do my HIT intervals on a bike or by running, instead it mixes all together. 2. Warm-up and cool-down exercises are very conventional and there are tons of variations that could be added to target more muscle groups. 3. No foam roller warm-up/cool-downs. It's proven to be the thing in our time. 4. The app never suggested me a rubber band exercise, but I can think about 20 things I can do with a rubber band for stability and core muscles training. 5. If you can't do something, you can't give feedback BEFORE you start the exercise, which is really demotivating to go for something you are sure you are not going to make it. 6. The app never asked me where to store the videos. Not everyone has a phone with 256 GB of internal storage, why not save them to SD card? I have paid for 3 months and I see that I'm not going to use it. Once the gyms are open again I'll go back to things I like to do - strength and mobility in the gym, HIT on the bike.

Terrific! This is the only program that really actually work! I am finishing week 5 and wow, I am amazed! On the top, Freeletics community is fantastic. You rock guys, proud of being a Freeathlete!

  49. Andre F de Miranda-avatar

    Andre F de Miranda

Poor app. Exercises do not take in consideration injuriea the athlete may have. Terrible support. My warning: Don't subscribe as their policies are shoddy and will not warn you of renewals.

  50. Alex W. E.-avatar

So let me get this straight, it's called Freeletics and yet you have to pay for it monthly... Call it Paidletics and I'd have not wasted my time, sounds like false advertising... I'm sure it's very good, but I don't want to give away my money every month for something.

  51. Giordano Capovilla-avatar

    Giordano Capovilla

Nice and complete workouts. Not sure if any real coach reads the notes one writes, Very nice training experience nonetheless

  52. Brandon Aiona-avatar

Loving the app so far. Great full body workouts and the coach is great. Pushing me right to my limits. Fully recommend.

  53. Erhan Günay-avatar

There should be an option for weaknesses, such as knee injuries.. Also maybe the app can track our heart rate with smart watch

  54. Fahim Chowdhury-avatar

    Fahim Chowdhury

great for beginners and also for intermediates/advanced which are little "rusty" and need to get fit!

  55. Arda Çallı-avatar

Very good and open for improvement. I like training journeys with coach. It is good full body routine. However, for someone who wants to focus on a particular muscle group the app doesnt direct you properly. Coach is good but definetly needs improvement and more customization. I sometimes felt that I am not doing something special based on my fitness and abilities.

  56. LeeAnn Cooper-avatar

I love how they call it "Free"letics when you have to pay for everything. It'd be nice if they tell you that before you give them all of your information, instead of just pretending it's free until you're done.

  57. Burak Bezirganoğlu-avatar

Everytime I open the app, I am given "Spark your motivation, Get your coach" message. I already subscribed and am using it. Hope you can fix this annoying bug.

  58. William Markoutis-avatar

    William Markoutis

So far i really like it. I only have two issues/suggestions: 1. I can't complete some of the exercises due to flexibility restraint, like the side squats. There should be a coach feedback section for that so you don't get the same excercises again for a while. 2. I have a pull up bar but it doesn't have the height to complete any of the exercises besides the pull up. So i have to remove it as equipment and therefore waste a perfectly good excercise.

  59. J R-avatar

Many exercises, customizable, suited for strength as well as cardio training. What I would like to see improved: 1. Be able to go back to the previous exercise during a workout. Something a drop of sweat causes the app to go forward, even though you're not finished yet. 2. Being able to end the pauses! Even though I know that I can give the feedback "Way too easy" in the end, sometimes you just want to skip one break and not all of them. Being able to go back and forth here would be helpful too

  60. Maria Franz-avatar

The Trainings are great, but the connection problems are really annoying. It's too expensive to pay for an app and then have connection issues every training session. When I train, the app makes me save after each bit. I just did my warm up and when trying to save the training I get a connection issue. It happens every day, but normally switching WiFi and mobile network resolves it. Not today. S I am warmed up and ready to train, but I cannot get past the "post training" screen (which I dislike)

Love this app. In the last four months I've gained strength, flexibility and muscle tone. The workouts are challenging. The warm-ups and cool downs have allowed me to remain injury free (a first for me - I tend to injure my back and core muscles). My only complaint is that the trainer feedback is useless. I posed a clarifying question regarding one of the workouts months ago and never received a response. So I stopped filling out the forms.

  62. James Plant-avatar

Been using the app for nearly a month now, there are some really good workouts in there, the app is very easy to use and I find it does push me when I'm not really feeling it. A criticism I do have is that when you give feedback on the session you can't be specific, it's either ok, too easy etc. It would be good to be able to give feedback on specific exercises. Also, the core workouts do not feel like they're hard at all, no matter how easy I tell the app they were. Overall though a great app

  63. Nick Cox-avatar

I love the way the app looks and works and love the workouts. BUT, unfortunately it's completely let down by terrible customer service if you're an existing customer, which sucks even more if you've been one for a few years. It annoys me so much that apps like Freeletics don't value existing customers whatsoever. If you want a better price, make sure you unsubscribe and then resubscribe each year!! It's far too expensive at £70 a year! I'll be moving to one of the other apps next time.

Doesn't work properly. YOU -can't reset your coach whenever you want. There isn't any reset button for that. -can't see finished training journey names, your journey recap or other statistic informations (just simple personel bests). -if you accidentally finish your session, you can't get it back. I mean you pay this app.for doing exercise, but it doesn't let you do it. -CAN'T SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS. NO RETURN YOUR MAILS. VERY VERY BAD SUPPORT.

I've had this app for a good three months now and I've finished 2 30 day sessions over this time. I've got to tell you this is the best there is. I've lost a lot of weight from when k started, I feel fitter and fresher everyday. If I have a break in between I can't wait to get back to training the next day. Go on. Don't stop. #clapclap

Great app. Really love it. Only negative point so far was that the servers were not reachable for some time and therefore it was not possible to finish the WO accordingly. Thought it should be possible even without internet access. However, this issue appeared just once so far. So overall a fantastic app which helped me to get in shape of my life. Give it a try, you will love it!

This is my first week using this app. 2 training sessions so far...I like it so much! I like also the feature that you can choose not to use any equipment and also the no run no sprints option. This is the perfect app during self- isolation and I think I'm gonna keep using it for ever. So, thank you for providing us with such a great app like this. Two requests: 1. Keep it affordable (especially for african countries, purchasing power isn't the same as Europe and USA) 2. Add TRX in equipment.

  68. Jeannine Betts-avatar

Better than a gym! This app is so cool. It personalizes to my needs, abilities and if I'm sore in an area one day the coach will adapt my workout. I also love the nutrition app for healthy recipe ideas. The investment for the entire year is so worth it. Also I was having tech issues when I bought and I quickly opened a ticket with tech support who solved the problem (just uninstalled and reinstalled the app). If you need to work from home (like we all do now) I highly recommend this experience.

  69. Angela Bastian-avatar

This app was a game changer for me. I never liked to push myself to my limits. Therefore, I found Freeletics challenging in the beginning (and still some workouts really test the water). The coach was the main reason for me to get this app - they don't invent the wheel with the bodyweight exercises, although the instructions are clear & the god workouts are a fun way to combine them to. However, the coach will give you an individual program based on your goals and feedback with great results.

  70. Chad Alexander-avatar

i purchased the training and nutrition package which gives you a workout routine and meals. I'm gonna be very critical, don't take the nutritional package with the training package, its useless, its a recipe book, the whole purpose of purchasing a package is to get the trainer to tell you what to eat but it doesnt instead you have to figure it out. I will give you advice because this is a lax app, incorporate meals into your app, tell the person drink 2L of water today or something.

  71. Brian Moran-avatar

I had really high hopes for this app, but it's just not customizable enough. You have an endurance workout today but would rather do strength? Too bad. You want to log specific exercises? Basic lifts are missing. Do you want to log a workout post-hoc? Nope. I get it, the app sells itself by being your know-it-all maybe "AI" driven personal trainer, but there's no algorithm that knows what I want and need better than I do. Give me more control, dangit!

I've been using Freeletics for 3 months and I'm super happy with it. I'm no great athlete, I mostly get my excersise in the spring and summer hiking through forests and mountains, but I wanted something to help me excersise indoors in the fall and winter. Freeletics did that for me and then some. It adjusted perfectly to my fitness level, suggested training programs based on my needs and wants, and kept me motivated. I am definitely a happy customer.

  73. Antony Kurien-avatar

Great app, I'm paying for the body weight training. It's amazing if you are consistent and dedicated. But still they are areas of improvement. My suggestion are 1. allowing the phone to speak out your next exercise, that way I don't need to look into the app whole the time. 2. Plus give 10sec buffer from one to the next exercise, you need to get ready with the positions so buffer is an important factor. 3. Add number counting for exercise and probably add 3 different pace to the counting

Good app for exercising at home especially during this quarantine time. Workouts are challenging but doable, and very customizable. Also having the virtual coach is helping to stay on track. But there are a lot of things to improve: first, I noticed a lack of exercises for the upper body, other than push ups (which I am not able to do right now) and pull ups, for which equipment is needed. Exercise in general are quite boring and repetitive, it would be nice to see more variations

  75. Raul Marmolejo-avatar

At the begining the problem was that the coach was not progressive, but a killer because one day you were doing around 20 pull ups and the next the coach want it 100 pull ups, now with the Journey that's not the only problem, but after every Journey you have to start again another, so it's not consistent neither progressive. The nutrition give me some good results at the beginning, but at least in Mexico, most of the ingredients are not easy to find or they are very expensive.

  76. Wayne Anthony Feeney-avatar

    Wayne Anthony Feeney

Don't bother with this app. The training is not progressive and often seems randomised. The "coach" had me doing the exact same strength training two days in a row (squats and bent-over rows). Whatever algorithm they are using to create programs, it is useless, and can lead to injury due to no recovery time. The app itself is difficult to use and unintuitive. Unfortunately, I foolishly paid for six months. What a waste of money!

  77. Gökhun Güneyhan-avatar

It's a good app and helped me achieve my weight goal, but i have to say it's not an app for beginners - as you can easily injure yourself if you don't know when you should stop pushing yourself. The warm ups are terrible, had to stop my training multiple times because the warm ups didn't work the muscles i was going to work. Still one of the best workout apps i've seen, hence deserves a 4,5⭐ but it's not possible :) PS: Nutrition app is great, so go for the combo if you're going to subscribe

  78. Alex B-avatar

Easy to use, good instructional video for each exercise (with easier versions in the description). Minimal equipment - mostly none, occasionally a pull up bar. But you can adapt the session of you haven't got the equipment. The programs are challenging and reaching the target time can be a journey. But that's all part of it, as begin to notice little improvements at first. It's free to use the set programs, investing in the coach raises the challenge again by expanding your training sessions.

  79. Gábor Domsitz-avatar

I love this app. I have bought the AI training coach for 3 month (35 euros), in my opinion it is worth it. You dont need to be thinking of your workout, the coach does it for you. I find that it does challenge you each week in a very sensible way. Without changing my diet I have lost 3 kg in the last 4 weeks I have been doing it and I was not fat just wanted to get leaner a bit. I also wanted to increase my cardio which the freeletivs hardcore program is perfect for. Simply the workouts are fun.

Great app! Regretting that I didn't purchase the yearly subscription (I opted for the semi-annual sub). Workouts are structured thoughtfully & beautifully. Attention to detail in the video demos is fantastic! I've trained with gym trainers before (for 2 years) and I have to say this app does a better job at explaining the basic posture and do and don'ts of every variation. All in all, we'll worth every penny you spend on this amazing app. Best part : no equipment required!!

Considering it is advertised as online coach it does a remarkable bad job at checking back with me. The initiate receives a plan that does not incorporate any workout regimen done before. "What are your goals (pick from a handful)? Here you go!" On top of that the UI shortcomings. Like, you forgot to save the other day you are not allowed to proceed, must finish "some" state and are forced to "explore" your own exercises. Or if you touch the display by chance you skip the workout, no going back.

  83. Patrick Franz-avatar

Not too bad. The work outs are decent, and the app has a good amount of feedback without too much chatter. They don't have a feedback option so I'll post it here. 1. offline mode. I don't always have access to Internet since I use the app from my boat as I sail around Mexico. This is a deal breaker for me. I haven't tried it yet, but it's slow AF when my internet is bad. 2. Need more equipment options. Why not have dumbbells or other free weights? Maybe I can add them in with other coach

Freeletics is a good app if you're just getting into fitness. However, if you're a regular person at the gym then this app may not be for you. Before COVID-19 I used to go to the gym quite often. Since the gyms closed I decided to give this app a go. The first week is the "review week" where you give feedback to they can tailor the program to you. After every session I said it was too easy, yet the following sessions didn't really increase in intensity its just been the same after 4 weeks.

  85. Shan Davy-avatar

I have the paid coaching feature, which I got for 40% off during a sale, and it has honestly been the best money I have spent during this time of quarantine. My boyfriend and I love that the workouts change based on our abilities and progress. It has been a real motivator for us to stay active while self isolating. I could not recommend this app enough, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I do not think it would be easy enough for a complete beginner who was heavily overweight.

  86. Marius Pui-avatar

I really really wanted to love this app, but after trying for some time i just couldn't do it. I thought it could be a game changer but it's not. it kinda feels that the team put soemthing together decided that's good enough and didn't bother to improve. Even when you decide to do a training course the exercises that it puts together just don't feel that well connected. This becomes apparent very quickly with the warm-up and cooldown where they often have no relationship with the exercises it's asking you to do and therefore you run the risk of injury. Again sometimes it's asking you to do 50 jumping jacks as a warm-up and it just feel really boring. As most home workout apps it puts a lot of emphasis on core and lower body. And most exercises feel like they're more focused on fat-burning rather than strength building. Even though I have a pull-up bar it never once asked me to do a chin-up. There's no proper upper body workouts. It's always a bit of upper body with a lot of core. You cannot tell it that you only want to focus on certain body areas as well or to exclude others. I run a lot and cycle so I'd rather not have to focus so much on lower body but there's no option for that. The fact that a training session is actually made up of several different smaller sessions and then you have to mark that you've completed one and then move to the other starts to get a bit annoying. It's a small gripe but again leads to this feeling that it's just some random exercises put together with not behind the scenes understanding of muscle groups. Something else that's really missing is the ability to record your measurements or even take pics. It's supposed to be a fitness app that tracks your performance but i have to now use a separate app to track any gains. It's really a shame as it had so much potential. I will probably keep using it though as I really need somebody to just tell me what to do otherwise I won't do it so for now it works but will probably try to find something better as soon as I can.

This workout app its amazing and l love it so much. My body is going through pain after workout, but you will get used to it fast and build more muscle. I have try other app, none of them are like this app. It give you every type of workout you want to achieve maximum. Am happy with this app and its free no subscription at all.

  88. Omar Assi-avatar

An excellent app for working out from home on your own. The Coach really helps you progression through your exercises, you still need your own self restraint to keep at it. The individual exercise videos are a little informative but I suggest you check out a thorough YouTube video on how to correctly perform it if it's your first time.

Let me start with "Sorry, something went wrong! Retry" Nice interface but full with bugs. I can not use it. I managed to use refresh a few times and advance a few steps but why should I pay for your training plans if I can't see how is made at least a session? Looks like another beta app. But hey, 5* for the interface.

  90. Erard Gilles-avatar

Work outs are ok but the functionalities are really bad. Can't edit/log work outs (if you forgot to click yes at the end of a work out for instance). Just let us log previous work outs! You also need to click a lot of stuff every time to log work outs which is pointless and takes forever. I don't want to broadcast workouts to the world. Get a clue! Very frustrating.

  91. Nikhil Ranga-avatar

Visible results. Lot of workouts. I'm focusing on strength and stamina. I haven't tried the fat loss or the muscle building modules, so I can't comment on those. The app gives you a routine which helps me be disciplined. It progresses week on week. I've lost about 4 kgs ( about 8pounds) in the last 3 weeks and feel stronger. The only pain point is the app's internet dependence, and you can lose your workout because it tries to upload before actually saving the workout on your device.

  92. Dinky Di-avatar

Its a good app, but the programs need tweaking. It'll sometimes have you over work an area leading to injury like me. The running program had me run over 4 km for three afternoons. I wanted to mark it as incomplete due to injury/soreness, but it won't allow it. The app makes you do another program. Cool downs need fixing too. 5 minutes is nowhere near enough time to properly stretch. Good app just needs fixing.

It's the least free of the training apps available. It may be a good app, but 1 star rating reflects the misleading name. There are some free individual workouts, and a run tracker, but it seems that any sort of progressive plan or schedule requires a relatively pricey subscription. These features are free with other apps which don't have "Free" in the name. Change name for better ratings #ClapClap.

  94. Aurore Fache-avatar

I love the app, and the coach. I train at least 5 times a week lately. I feel better. I don't see time running by while focused on the exercises. It seemed a bit repetitive to me at the beginning but I guess that is inevitable when you start. The dark mode is really enjoyable. This is regrettable that it seems to have disappeared in the last past days.

  95. Sebastian A-avatar

This app charges you a one time sum for multiple months. It tries to play it off as though you're paying weekly. Instead you get charged a larger amount and get locked into a much longer subscription. On top of that, the paid parts of this app offer zero customization and don't let you alter sessions based of your schedule. You have to prepare your entire week and if you can't make a day because something came up, you're screwed and missing a session. Pretty pathetic for something you pay for.

  96. Zuke531-avatar

Good workouts however doesn't seem to be any option to add home equipment such as Kettlebells or Slam Balls, and the whole app could be laid out more effectively, so there isn't such a rigmarole to navigate your way through completing the workout if you've finished it beforehand. The adapt session doesn't really do what it says either. Because of this, I'll explore other apps when my membership has expired.

I have used this app to keep in shape. For the last 5 years or so, I'd guess, I have found it nearly impossible and certainly impractical to make it to a gym to work out. I am now in my early 30s and it's hard to separate time to be fit. So I have been in and out of fitness. This app takes the journey with my and is always there when my discipline is ready to work out. Recently the developers have added motivations and nutrition and other nice features. Tio bad I can't write more good things.

  98. Piotr S.-avatar

Extremely overpriced application comparing to the content. I've tried dozen other apps for amateur home training and Freeletics was the most advertised and is most expensive from all of the, which delivers least value IMHO. Actually hard to judge how virtual coach really works - regardless of my answers, I haven't notice that exercises would change significantly, target specific muscles again or make exercises lighter/harder. After 2 months of exercising, I really don't feel much change - where training with other apps I could feel the difference (e.g. I've tested plank app with "simple feedback coach" which was gradually increasing intensity level and after 2 months from 1 minute of plank hold, i went to 5 minutes + started doing much more complex plank exercises). You can skip practicing group of muscles, but you CAN'T "ban" specific exercises and replace them with something else - e.g. remove crunches which have potential health hazards and have maybe plank instead (or something similar, even less effective). This makes application useless for people with certain health problems who can't do certain exercises. Timed exercises like different stretching holds start immediately after each other, without "pause" option - sometimes before I'm in new position, already several seconds have passed. There is no option to provide feedback to warm up/cool down exercises, so they could be adjusted - e.g. I would like to practice more stretching, as I had problem with many of them - these routines are always the same. I'm also surprised that such "sophisticated" application has no option to connect basic sensors, even simple heart rate to adjust exercise intensity. If you exercise without any equipment, there are very little exercises targeting upper body - i.e. chest and hands. - e.g. sticking strictly only with Freeletcis (3x a week, Fit for Life program) my actual endurance to do push-ups actually decreased, when I've stopped doing other exercises - what's the value in such "virtual" coach then? I've a feeling that lots Freeletics revenue goes on web advertisements and to Internet influences to promote this app. You can find far much better application delivery much more value for friction of Freeletics cost. I've paid only friction of the price due to huge promotion, but my overall experience with this application was so poor that I won't extend it again. Idea is nice, but value for money & implementation rather poor. I recommend NOT to spend money on this app - rather select something else.

I must say i am disappointed with the response from your help center. I had a problem logging in and sent a mail to the help center and still didn't get the response 2 days later. After this subscription expires i will seriously think if i will continue with your app. App is not bad therefore 3 stars otherwise you would have gotten 4 from me

Great app, would benefit from a build your own routine and options to include resistance bands
