It's the community of crazy, great, brilliant minds that have come together. Some of us are older like myself trying to keep up with the youth. However, some images have been a few I have had to put in the shelf and keep scrolling past. If you know what you are doing... You can go into settings and avoid it though so the totally give you a choice, but lif is tough and you can't avoid everything.... So get a thick skin and join those who can increase your Knowledge iat the very least and your IQ at the very most. Hell I love it and I am not a physicist, but I am pretty smart... This is an alright app for a start, however there's some problems I have: Posting, why can't we post through the app? I'd rather be able to post through the app than just do nothing but read. Some subverses don't seem to be supported like the BitChute one: Why? Why can't all be supported? I don't understand. Light theme. I personally hate it, but why not add it for those who for some reason like it? that is all.

Constantly does not work. Server exception failures, api load failures. This app works 1/3 of the time, the other 2/3 you just get a spinning loading screen. When it does work it works well, just doesn't work often enough. Good app, just needs work.

Boats is a simple android client for accessing Voat in app. It is very convenient for browsing and commenting on Voat from a smartphone. However this app both lacks key functionality and provides other functionality on near unusable ways. From the outset Boats is a passive experience, there is no ability to post content to Voat from this app. Commenting is available however this is clunky with a poorly drawn dialogue box and no scroll for longer comments. Inbox replies are unusable

Goodbye Voat, it was great while it lasted. Rest easy buddy you did great and onto the next adventure. * People complaining about the app not working at times crack me up. The site (including this app) would shut down 15 after the hour for updates and such. I just waited a bit and got on with no problems. TBH doesn't take much to figure this stuff out. This app was awesome, thanks for making this available. Best of luck to everyone.

No parent commenting, no submit posts. Check mail is clunky and requires a lot of steps to find out what the mailer is responding to. It's still the best way of accessing Voat but tyere's room for improvement.

editing an earlier review. The app is decent enough, thumbnails are really small by default but after I switched to gallery mode it was fine for me.

Great little app that seems to have been forgotten/abandoned by the developer. Email asking about further updates have gone u answered. Last update in 2018.

Pretty rough around the edges, doesn't seem to save subscriptions at all, can't submit posts, and all media viewing is external; but I'll stick around with the hope that the devs work on the app.

Awesome app. Functions perfect. Developer is very responsive and helpful. Can't get better in my opinion from a dev.
