The free version is pretty dismal, but if you're willing to pay for the extra features ($10-$15), it makes a valuable training tool that doesnt eat up a lot of memory. I use it as part of my diabetes management package EDIT:. App stopped working after last update. No response to email. Downgrading to one star. Able to keep training with Pulse Control BLE app.

Overall a good app for using my headphones with in ear heart rate monitor. My one complaint is that I paid to upgrade features including saving long sessions, and sometimes the app drops its connection in the middle of a workout and the data isn't saved. If the data were automatically saved when the BLE signal ends or drops that would be an important improvement.

Blessings to the developers. It is not an ecg monitor, but, it has similar characteristics that can save your life or your old parent's life. I paid for all the extras it offers and used it flawlessly with a Mio watch and now with a Polar A370 watch. No other app yet has its features. Not even close. When I had heart arrhythmia & tachycardia 2 years ago, my phone was playing my pre-selected song to wake me up. I set minimum heart pulse & maximum heart pulse & what sound I want. Perfect today

Purchased two pluggings for the app but none of them worked with my external sensor. Tried many times to connect but seems like meet device is not compatible. Requested a refund few days later for the two in-app purchases, as till then was hoping to make it work, but refunds were not granted as "not per policy". Pity and unfair...

I'm new to this sort of app so all I can say is that in pairs fine with my Scosche Rhythm+ HR monitor. It does give lots of useful data which I'm keen to explore but what concerns me is the lack of pricing information - let me explain: there are 6 paid for features. Feature 0, 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 5 & 6. If say you only wanted Feature 2b, you have to buy the preceding features first. Further, you only get to see the price of the lowest level feature, not those above it until you pay for the lower level. This means that you will have no idea how much the total cost of all the features is until you've bought them one at a time. I'm sure this is just a programming mistake rather than a disengenuous way of making money and can be corrected? Only 3 stars until sorted though.

It's actually NOT my favorite heart rate monitor app, but i have given it 5 starts because it can pair with my heart rate monitor when no other app will. I've had Bluetooth issues pairing my HR7 Polar chest strap on different devices, multiple times. This app has always been able to connect, and once i do, i can use other apps. Basically, this seems to fix my Bluetooth issues. Highly recommend.

Occasionally drops connection, and I lose the data from that session but overall works well. Comoared to similar apps, it is the most comprehensive and efficient app that I've tried. The only concern is because of the dropped connections, I'm afraid to leave it running for long periods and lose large amounts of data

Unfair pricing, beware. The price of only one extra feature is visible. The other six prices are hidden, until you buy something. How many do you have to buy before all the prices are shown? There is no way to tell how much this "free" app will eventually cost. Bogus.

Good app just needs voice feedback, if your running your phone is on your arm. If the app said which zone your in, you can know to walk or run faster based on how your heart is preforming.

Difficult to use. Difficult to navigate. Needs much improvement. Practically useless in its present form.
