Plugs work OK at best... If they connect at all. Getting them connected is the crux of the problem. I'm not sure if it is a hardware or a software issue but the setup process is nothing shy of a nightmare. Each plug can easily take 2+ hours to do what should only be a 2-3 minute job. Once connected, it's a miracle if they stay online longer than a day before needing a reset. Suffice to say that I'll be switching providers.

It should be illegal to create an app this bad. This app hasn't worked properly in ages. Even if you're able to connect your devices, it won't be long until it stops recognizing it. Turns any device you connect to it into wasted money. No update has fixed it. I'm not sure they even try. They already have your money so they don't care. Try another company - this one is no good.

I had invested heavily in Wemos in my home. They stopped working. Switched to TP-Link Kasa (5* out of 5). On a lark, brought out my old ones. 1 worked perfectly. 3 more I coaxed into working. 2 more refuse to connect. The app is clumsy with buttons and links too close to the front camera and top menu, so pressing things is hard. Gets stuck during network connections and have to force close. It's a bunch of new frustrations, so at least they have worked on it, but still a lousy platform. Sorry.

Dear Wemo, your app sucks! It just doesn't work. On your latest update, it just sat there for 2 days telling me it was updating. So, since none of my plugs were working, I uninstalled the app, FOUR TIMES, set up my new account, why I need one I just don't know and now it just keeps telling me your cloud has drifted away and the app is stuck right there. No lights no plugs NO NOTHING!!

Terrible. Terrible app. Terrible hardware. I would give this zero if i could. I am a residential electrician. I install smart switches on a weekly basis. DO NOT buy anything wemo. It will not connect. After 3 hours of resetting wifi- resetting switch- resetting app- passwords- unpluging- i got one switch to connect and recognize the app. Moved on to next switch. Suddenly the first one is greyed out in the app. I cant even click it to see why. Buy leviton. Or casata

Sometimes i want to turn a switch on, and the Wemo app wants to do a software upgrade before it will let me control the switch. Couldn't they configure it so i could turn the switch on without waiting, and do the upgrade AFTER the switch went on? I want the app to work without unlocking my phone, but it requires me to unlock my phone . I ei if I say okay Google turn on the light , it says that "first you'll have to unlock your phone." Lots of other apps works when the phone's locked

Their products suck, it can never locate my lamps connected to it. No point in having smart switches if I have to bend into terribly inconvenient places to turn them on. When it works it works great but the problem is it never works. And it's not our internet-- we have fiber that works perfectly everywhere in our house. Wouldn't buy Wemo devices or use this app again.

Great when it works....but it never works. "Sorry I can't connect to wemo right now" is the most common thing my Google assistant says. It's not just my assistant, I can't even get my light switches to turn on/off the lights most of the time. I have to crawl under a desk and push a button. What is the point?

Great, best thing I ever installed. They also sell them for outdoor lights and I use them for my water fountain. I love the idea that you can set up rules which means that you can tell it when to come on and come off at any time multiple times a day and you also can use it with your Alexa app

To be honest, this device is a great concept but is not alway reliable. At times I was going to give up the item due to the update making it useless or they just keep dropping from my network. I still keep tinkering with it til it finally got up and running.
