Similar to what other recent reviews have said, this was a great game that has turned into a horrid one. You collect units and level them up through random draws. They increased the levels from 15 to 150, stated the amount of resources required would not change, and then instead *raised* how much you need (nearly double for the best units). The game was great, slow and steady, but now it's just a meaningless grind for anyone who isn't a heavy spender. Would heartily not recommend, now.

You broke the f2p balance with last patch. Your fix did not address my concerns. You tripple the time a new player needs to start feeling useful. Greedy. Mistakes in how you level units will take months to fix. You create a huge gap between old and new players. It took me 5 months of minmax to feel useful, a new player would need 1.5 years to be in my spot. This is too much for a mobile game. You need to keep the flow of new players. I supported you with season passes. Don't make me regret it.

1.Your unit placement and combination matters a lot, since everyone has different strategies and units on the battlefield. You have lots of different and unique units to unlock and level up. I enjoy the PVP aspect a lot, and I hope it will be easier to gain gold and units in the future. (Recent Patch increased your unit levels to from 15 to 150. Idea is great, but right now you need more gold to upgrade your units and it is really tiresome and time consuming, this is why I give 3/5 rating)

After the October update it just went downhill... The level cap raise is fine and all but, it's too much. Also, although they made a good effort to grind for gold, it's again, too much. It went from a fun F2P to a grinding menace like AFK Arena. Though the items are many and fair, it's simply building a grind now instead of motivating the competition between clans and players.

The last patch was really damaging to the game. It devastated the value of unit shards at lower levels. It now takes about three times as many unit shards to reach certain milestones, and you don't earn them faster. Game became so much more grindy - unless you pay. Players that had stored shards got shafted really bad by the recent changes, and players entering the game now have no chance to catch up...

New update makes leveling up less rewarding and much more confusing and messy. Also I'm reading from other players that it now costs more shards to level up, so the update really screwed you over in terms of scaling and made it more of a grind than it already is. Long term player here and this might be what breaks the game unless the update is back-dated. I'm already seeing a couple members leave the clan.

I do like this game allot but, I am now at lvl 16 and things are slowing quite a bit down and I am getting this sneaky feeling that they want you to start paying if you want to progress at a faster pace. Anyway, it would be awesome if units you use allot would upgrade through battle, maybe focus more on that than randomly upgrading units that you never use. It's fine to unlock units and awarding shards once in a while to random units, but the real upgrades should come from battle experience.

they broke the mechanics of the archers. They are worthless now as their arrows are slow and never hit a moving target anymore. Also there is no reward to tactics and you cant really use tactics. its a cheap rock paper scissors clone where only power levels of the right character matters. Its like command&conquer. Also you cannot replay PvE missions which is ridiculous and terrible paywall. Any game that forces PvP only needs to be trashed permanently.

Journey mode is stupidly ridiculous. I spend hours to set up troops position and it'll be useless in the next level. Edit : Maybe you can make several levels winable by one strategy the players design before they should change it, so players would at least can enjoy the result of their strategies for a while. Thanks for replying anyway.

Simple. Well designed and easy to learn. But a recent update has turned me sour on this one. Progression was slow, but steady on an a system that gave individual units experience based off of random draws. Recent update multiplied the level system by ten. The cost to level units did not decrease. So factor random draw for experience on units that have varying degrees on rarity, and you end up with lots of walls to play with. It was fun to start. I do not find it fun any more.
