Computers cheat, and they cheat more often on the higher levels. We understand that and play accordingly. However your program routinely, fails to take all required moves. Thereby seldom leaving pieces uncovered. On numerous occasions, when the dice required the computer to leave pieces uncovered it would take all the safe spaces and not move any of the remaining spaces. Because of this I can't see anything other than a 3 star rating.

This game reminds me exactly of the first EA game where you could not I like the flag speak to the other player and there there was no chat however they did have a list of little sayings Lake wtg and some of the very original chat words or Internet words. BRB was either be right back or bathroom break. We did figure out ways to tell people if they had made a good move or did they want to play again. I like the flags because I played with people from the national Federation of Russia from Upper tyrolean Austria from Armenia and from somewhere where they had a? Maybe they don't know where they live. Every once in awhile because of the distance the internet connection would screw up and you weren't able to grab your pieces but for some reason they didn't disappear like they did with the original EA game. So it would be nice to have a face and some very simple backgammon oriented phrases like oh no doubles again or why do you keep capturing my guy and then holding him on your side of the board. Doubling would be nice and it would also be nice to know in advance if it is obvious that I am going to win I should have the choice of offering resignation to the other person or doubling and they should have the same period that prevents players from messing with their ratings by leaving games before they get gaumond or backgammon because then you lose a lot more points. But you're doing a very good job and I thought it was a lot of fun playing with another person again. Thank you so much for letting mini beta test this totally free game it is what it says it is just a little bit primitive LOL

Can't say enough bad things about this app. Hideous design, stubborn interface, choppy animations. No auto-bear-off feature in endgame. I would accuse the AI of cheating with overly lucky rolls, but its strategy is too stupid. AI WILL send you to bar if at all possible, even when it's not worth the risk to do so. A metaphor here is boxing someone on a waxed floor. You get hit and fall, and during the struggle to get up, the opponent callously knocks you down. Arguably effective, but oafish.

AWFUL!!! LOST more games to unstable network & opponent leaving the room than I got to even complete. Should be severe punishment for leaving the room. In other words I can play a good game,or just get lucky after hanging in there for a long time & once the opponent sees the reversal of fortune he can just leave the room?, & maybe (i dont know) cause an "unstable network " situation, the game resets & all is wiped out? Too much work for someone to not like the course the game has taken & justquit

If it would automatically 'play through' when one side is blocked, preventing any moves until a spot is free would relieve that tedious wait.

played a out 20 times against the computer. computer always got at least 3 doubles. very weighted toward computer. somet.es it would not let me play somthing that I knew was right only to have the computer do the same play. too bad cuz it is fun as long as you don't mind losing all the time. then playing an opponent they quit in the middle of the game.

It doesn't cheat as much as other backgammon apps. The good thing are the player levels which help us beginners. At level 3 & 4, it cheats by getting the right number when you're forced to leave a piece alone on the board. It gets the right roll to send you to the bar. It hits doubles consistently when it has to come off the board. When you're on the bar, it will give you doubles on occupied opponent points.

Game is rigged. The computer gets many doubles per game and always gets the exact roll it needs to hit you. Doubles for you are rare and mostly come when you can't use them.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME...after the 1st level the roll of the dice is NOT random for the computer, or the players rolling of the dice. the computer will cover its pieces 2 or 3 chips at every move. However, if the computers does leave 1 chip open; you will have to decide move it, and have yours done at the computers roll. either this game is collecting players state no how, or the program is how many times you play before you say, this game is a waste of time. They should remove this programs.

I play the single player game at the hardest level. It does not challenge me at all. It doesn't take the chips out on a 2 and 1 roll of the dice. Instead it moves other chips therefore I always win. I am uninstalling because it's a waste of my time.
