Now that I have used this for two months, I think it is coming off of my phone. What first soured me was the pronunciation exercises, which kept telling me I was saying things wrong without giving me any reason why. And since I use other language apps and have some experience with learning pronunciation as a singer, I'm sorry, but I am putting the blame on the app. As I got further into using the app, I felt like I was not being brought along. I find DuoLingo and Memrise to be far superior to this app. Too bad, but life is too short to spend time on something you dread.

babbel learn languages apk The content is fine. The app is not. Very basic keyboard that still doesn't work well. Speech exercises let you play example for voice recognition, but it can't recognize its own speaking. Need a hint while writing? Don't type a letter because that makes the hint shuffle in a whole new set of unrelated letters. Not enough space here to list all of the problems with the app, but the content itself is fine.

babbel learn languages app I just love it's way of teaching methods, similar to Duolingo but with much more realism and needed grammatical explanations and real life tips about the language and the culture speaking of the language. I would recommend to subscribe on a computer because as I understand, you only pay for the language that you want to learn and not for the whole package as it is the only way here on the app. Enjoy!

babbel learn languages mod apk I've been using it for nearly a year and It's been great until recently when the voice recognition started to act weird. In one lesson the texts had words in parantheses and I only could pass if I skip these words. In my most recent lesson the parantheses were gone but nothing could be recognized and I had to skip all the speaking exercises. Not sure if it's because of an update of the software or my Android system, but please fix it.

babbel learn languages online The app is great! I've enjoyed learning Spanish. The lessons are fun and build slightly after every one. You get to review what you've learned and correct your mistakes. The only negative I have encountered is that the microphone doesn't want to work from time to time. I'm not sure if it's my phone or the app. Either way it's annoying.

babbel learning languages 20/05/21I still use 🇩🇪! It's nice, but it would be better, if you would do a note for each lesson, just to read what is that lesson. I think it would be really useful, cause for instance: if I wouldn't remember how to use the word "werden", I could find it easily. But not now... 😕 20/09/27 Hi, I experienced a weird problem (when I try to practice my pronunciation, words are often in parentheses and they behave like they wouldn't be there). I wrote a feedback in the app, I hope you can help.

premium apk I've been using the app for a few days and the learning experience is great so far, but there are some problems. ⚪ First, sometimes only the top half of the image is displayed and sometimes the reading of a sentence is interrupted in the middle even when internet connection available. ⚪ Second, downloading lessons offline is slow and laggy and causes more of the first problem. ⚪ Finally, the keyboard experience could be better and I wish an option to download podcasts.

premium v20.3.1 cracked apk The speech recognition is absolutely horrible, and the visual design is poor. Using the app is clunky and not at all fun. I look forward to spending an hour on a different language app. With babbel, I feel like even a ten minute session is more than I can handle. I like that it teaches conversations, and I will try to get use of the time I paid for, but this app is a major disappointment for me!

app store Not a big fan. I unfortunately purchased the membership before trying it. It felt like it was moving too fast with some important words and too slow with some very useless worlds. As an example, I dont need to know how to spell Italian, spanish and German but that seems to be the emphasis in the first few lessons. And since the quizzes are so picky with the spelling it takes a long time for me to get through it. I really wish they would focus more on common words you need in order to communicate

premium So far I love the app but there are times when I do the speaking review and it doesn't accept what I say. I know I'm saying it correctly as my husband who is of that language confirms this. I try speaking slower, and spacing out the words and it will keep telling me I'm wrong. It gets annoying.

I'm glad I subscribed. I'm relatively new to it but have been impressed so far. From the get go, the lessons and subjects seem relevant to actual culture / travel scenarios- superior to that of Duolingo (I use both). This app relies heavily on context to help you learn more and faster (entire conversations and paragraphs at a time). The pictures also help. Update 10/2/2020- I'm still impressed with this app- very useful training, and it really helps me improve and build on what I already know.

Hi overall the app is very goods but sometimes very frustrating. I study swedish, in some spelling excercises words are in brackets even if you spell it right you have to continue as you couldn't spell it. At first it appers like this ((Femtio)) then you spell it, it becomes () and again you spell it correctly then it turn blank and doesn't accept it as true. That is the only remark i think taht needs to fixed yet so far. But I am really happy with my process. Tack så mycket!

I really like the app, and it good for learning but I wish there was a way you could ask the team questions about certain things that you are learning. I don't think the lessons described what you were learning good enough either. It is a user-friendly app with no ads actually, and I would request it to my friends. Hope you can make some changes and I might re-order my subscription next month, thanks!

I like trying my pronunciation before I hear the words, sometimes it would be good to repeat a phrase without restarting the lesson. The big problem I'm having is that the speech detection often stops working; it sits recording for sometimes minutes (other than closing there is no responsiveness) before telling me to try again. Then on another lesson it's fine. ** UPDATE: still haven't heard back after emailing bug details as requested. Still happens frequently and still no solution.

The app design feels really clumsy. Came with high recommendations and I wish I had chosen something else. You can only review a set amount of words it chooses. I wish it would let you review a set of lessons of your choosing without having to do the whole lesson over. Also, instead of one big vocabulary list- it would be nice if it sorted what you learned and grammar/pronunciation rules into groups. There's a lot of the design I find clumsy, too, but I'm out of space.

Great app because it gives me daily lesson . I do have some suggestions however issues 1. what happened to "listening" option when doing a daily review? 2. "correct your errors" at the end of each lesson does not allow you to correct ALL the errors you missed 3. add search function or table of contents of specific grammar lessons. hard to find where each topic was covered in each lesson.

Interface is fine. Structured lessons and review is done well. Speech recognition is disappointingly bad and has non-sensicle errors. For example, present-past verbs are presented with a hyphen between them. The app rejects your pronunciation unless you say 'less than' between the two, in the learned language.. I've been told to reinstall the app, which of course does not fix the problem. In these lessons I have to skip many items as correct pronunciation is rejected.

A quality, well rounded program! Materials are practical & can be put into use right away. The audio is quality & especially helpful for pronunciation. I appreciate the grammatical instructions & the immediate useage of it within the context of that lesson. The daily "make it stick" reviews, as well as the ongoing list of words learned (with audio) that you can refer back to at any time, are génial! The dialogues/conversations within each lesson sharpen listening & sentence structuring skills.

I love this app. The different ways they help you learn are really interactive, from flashcards and spelling to speaking and listening. I can repeat as many lessons as I want or need to and the encouraging prompts when you get it wrong, make you wanna keep learning. There are little bits of information scattered throughout lessons and it definitely doesn't feel like learning from a book. They really have a lot to offer if you wanna learn a new language!

Mostly great, but the voice recognition let's it down, it is not reliable, sometimes I've repeated a simple world like "Anglais" or "sous" for 15-20 mins and constantly been told I've said it wrong, even though I pronounced it identically to the provided voice clip, and other times I have stumbled over a more complex sentence, where I have clearly said it incorrectly or unclearly, yet had that passed as correct. Double check your pronunciation with another voice recognition app.

The context of each word being described to me is fantastic. I feel like actual conversations can be made thanks to this app. Con: the typing segments with picking out the words on the interface is a bit inconvenient due to the narrow keys and close together they are. Result of this include; smaller hit box and occasionally hitting the wrong letter.

Cons: It's very expensive. It doesn't have the most languages. Pros: It's the best app for learning, without a doubt. I paid for a lifetime subscription to all languages and despite the very high price I feel it's worth it. Customer support is good, in my experience. If you want to learn a language quick (I'm going for slow and steady), paying for just this app will probably work for you. I use 3 to 6 apps for a 5-15 minutes a day and while this isn't the most enjoyable it's most educational.

Is very easy to accidentally press the wrong option with the touch screen a confirm button would be better and speech sometimes hears something totally differnt to what i say and sometimes won't let you finish before marking as incorrect (as others have said). And the speakers are sometimes too fast considering I am not on the fluent level... Update pressed the button 20 times and it didn't slow Down the speech

I'm taking spanish and in my opinion, this is not for beginners, more like a refresher. They rush through lessons. It's supposed to be based on repetition yet they only repeat a couple of times and expect you to know it. Its not easy to repeat previous lessons bit after much clicking you can get back. They will ask you if you got it but there is no option to say no so that you can go over it again. I'm frustrated with this app.

I like some aspects of the app like the pop-ups about information on the words, some tips about slang etc. But the app is really pretty bad - things load really slow, and there's a lot of time my Speaking exercise just doesn't register a single thing I'm saying. The app could use a lot of work..

I love the app, great lessons that help expand my vocabulary and get a better handle on the language. The vocabulary is also functional unlike in Duolingo. It could take some steps towards gamification though as it's not particularly fun to use and keeping moitivation could sometimes be a struggle.

Switched from Duo Lingo as I realized I had built a vocabulary with the app but my conversational skills were non existent. Well here I am trying to get better and the damn app just says "recording" never responds. Never stops recording. It sits there like a deer in the headlights as 2tons of steel are barreling down at it at 75mph. Fix it! We pay for a reason sir/madam Babbél

Writing exercises are very picky, there is little to no variation allowed. Also you are allowed to leave accents away, but no punctuation marks!? App comes with own keyboard which is hard to use when you're comfortable with the android keyboard. Speaking is context sensitive and thus works for longer sentences. But for small words it's just random. I had a native speaker trying to say a word, and then even played back it's own audio, guess what happened. One the pro side: great lessons.

Okay, so it's been about two months since I started using Babbel. It's been very interesting with the actual learning approach. I feel this app is teaching you about why a language is spoken in a certain way. It reminds me of how English is taught. With a bit of know how, the keyboard issue is fine. I was told how to use that only after I sent a message, so something to tell people that is still needed. Not everyone has an iphone and doesn't know the hold down button technique. Men, det är bra.

I really like this app I just wish there were flash cards, or where I had to talk to it more to know if my accent is good or not. A lot of spanish is thrown at me, at one time. Good for learning. Three words a day are usually what I can handle. Not ten. But I still learn from it. Gracias ,buenos noches.

Excellent app. I am using it for Turkish, starting from zero. It introduces vocabulary and grammar step by step, with explanations along the way. I have tried other apps, but they tend to just gradually teach vocabulary and expressions with no explanation of the grammar rules.

So far so good, its not too boring and provides a deeper understanding of the language and difference to the individual participatants main spoken language in turn make sit easier to retain, only thing I feel should be improved is to add more voice interaction to help improve pronunciations all around creating a learning environment having more easily retainable content better supporting a fluently spoken foreign language!! But basically has everything needed to learn diff languages!!

I've heard this app is good, but requiring me to hand over my credit card details BEFORE I can access the free trial is ridiculous... just lock the app after 7 days. I've uninstalled before trying purely because I'm not prepared to hand over personal details for a free trial.

As a person who is already multi-lingual, I was eager to try a lesson in a new language. Very easy to follow. Begins with alphabet and phonetics and builds to basic conversation and questions in early lessions. Very immersive and intuitive. Well done!

It's a fantastic learning app, however the voice recognition is terrible. I speak loud and clear and it just sits there and does nothing. My neighbors are Mexican and they said I speak perfect Spanish so the app is teaching me a lot, but that glitch must be fixed, then I will give it 5 stars.

This is definitely just an "okay" app for learning languages. It's very basic and doesn't really have a coherent structured learning platform 😕. Don't waste time/money on this, try a more reputable company. I won't name what's better, but the yellow box company with the blue logo is better. I got Portuguese. Edit to include specific: Better keyboard, clearer pronunciations, visual matching, convo portions are very unclear.

The content of the app is wonderful. You learn vocabularies in context and even some grammatics are included in the lectures. There are some minor improvements regarding the speaking lectures ( e.g. words are written in brackets so not pronounceable) but you can easily skip it and go on with the lessons.

Pros: Easy to navigate app, customer service response time. Cons: Beginner lessons are awkward and out of place, speech recognition is atrocious (have contacted support about this issue, have not received a satisfactory resolution).

I love the simple, clean layout. And as a resource everything is there at your fingertips. If I need to revise a certain topic I just pull out my phone/laptop and away I go. Just wish there was more on the French podcast. But otherwise a really good app!

Loving the app. Don't expect it to replace a tutor, or formal classes. That said, it does what it does extremely well so far, covering the important basics first, and repeatedly for reinforcement. I did get the subscription for a reasonable cost, use it every day, and although I need to study a bit off on the side, the app meets all reasonable expectations. Thanks devs, well done 🙂

i just signed up for Babble and feel kind of lost: When I studied with Duolingo I knew exactly when I had reached my daily goal. I love this app. I have tried other language training apps and programs and soon loss interest because they were hard to use and didn't give me practical use of the language. Babbel is engaging and I use it almost every day. Because it is on my phone if I am somewhere and have a few minutes, I just go to it. Well I'm highly disappointed with the customer policy of babbel. In my opinion it should be the standard way to remind the user of subscription renewals instead of just hoping the user forgets about it. I bought my subscription unfortunately over the Web instead via the Google playstore... A big mistake. Google reminds you. So be careful with babbel. By the way, the app performance of the competitors is just much better. For example: Busuu or Lingodeer. In summary: I can't recommend the app

Oh my God this app is so wonderful. I grew up in Ybor City Tampa Florida where everyone spoke Spanish around me and I spoke some as a child. Now as a nurse in my early fifties I have had to use broken Spanish with communicating with Spanish speaking only patients for about the last 20 years, never having time to actually take Spanish classes. Having said that, this program is wonderful because you can do five minutes or five hours at a time depending on your endurance level. awesome.

It's a good app. The lessons are great and the pacing is easy to keep up with. The "american speaking a foreign language like an american" voice actor's GOTTA GO. He's messing my pronunciation up. I dont want to sound American. I want to sound closer to a native speaker. This is at the Yankee Peter in Babbel Spanish. Get rid of him and I'd give it 5 stars.

It is a great app for learning German. Super interesting to learn grammar. However pronunciation module isn't great and the interface isn't designed for mobile phones. Text and picture is too small, while there is a huge empty space on the screen. Also, app on Android doesn't sync with my progress on website and iOS. Shade! Overall its a good app, but it is better to use it on a tablet or website.

EVERYTHING is fine except for the pronunciation test. I'm currently learning Norwegian. I say the word exactly as it's told to me, and I get the patronizing "That's alright, it wasn't easy. Keep working on it 😊" message. I'm not a child. Fix this problem and maybe change that message to be more mature, maybe add ACTUAL feedback on incorrect pronunciation. I'm paying money for this.

This is the best way I've come across to learn Italian. It makes grammar very manageable and it's not overwhelming to keep up with. The spaced repetition is also incredibly helpful. My only downside to this app is that in the review flashcards, sometimes it will give a sentence like "You speak Spanish" to translate and not specify if the "you" is singular or plural. That can be confusing.

A promising but flawed service -I do like the level of progress when compared to other language learning apps, you are quickly given fairly complex sentences to decipher and I like the range of tasks given. However I feel the emphasis on grammar early on very demotivating, getting a letter wrong in an answer is a fail that needs to be redone at the end, and to make this more difficult the babbel keyboard given on Android is much worse than the standard typing keyboard. Not worth it @ full price

I have been using Babbel for almost year and got from the complete Beginner to finishing now Intermediate level in Spanish. I am comfortable now reading a newspaper in Spanish. I also can understand well spoken Spanish that was covered in the course. I am not yet very comfortable in remembering the correct words when speaking, but it has more to do with not being in the Spanish speaking environment. The application is very well designed.

Great vocabulary building techniques. The speaking part would be great too if the app would let me say the words before flagging incorrect. Multiple attempts with different words and I'm not given a chance to speak before the microphone is cut off and the attempt flagged as incorrect. Please, fix this. I do have the paid version and want to use all the features in the app.

overall, this is a good tool for learning languages. after about a month of 30-minute daily sessions, I can form basic sentences on my own. as with other language apps, there isn't any variation in review questions so it doesn't force you to apply your learnings. there are a number of ways for you to access content which can lead you to stray from the structured - not a bad thing. the speech recognition will often show that I'm saying exactly what I'm supposed to but still mark it incorrect.

To much like a text book. I tried speaking into the app and it keeps telling me to "keep trying", no feedback on my pronunciation. Very unhappy that I have to learn names of countries before I learn to ask for water, food, bathroom etc. It's an ok app, no bugs I found in using it. It's just "dry", not fun, it's like being in a boring classroom.

Absolutely loved it, the paid subscription is so worth it! I've used many other language learing apps and websites, Babbel is undoubtedly the best! For those looking to fully learn a language, Babbel is great because it isn't just random memorization. There are proper explainations and lessons on grammar, sentence structure, pronounciation, and so much more. I started with a few lessons a day and a notebook, and now a month later I'm listening to music and watching shows in a different language!

I like being able to choose between different methods when practicing vocabulary - for example, I'm able to focus on pronunciation, if I want. This app's voice recognition, however, needs work. It sometimes marks me incorrect when I pronounce words correctly, and has also marked me correct when I make mistakes. Simpler graphics are more appealing, and Babbel does list the available languages for buyers to check before buying. If Japanese and Mandarin are in production, I look forward to those.

I think the biggest downside of this app is that it lacks a proper placement test. Instead it asks you a set of a very vague questions. And even though I specified that I've already known some German the app gave me a newcomer's course. Nevertheless, I really liked the lessons where you have respond to messages. However, I still feel like the app gives you too many hints and many questions have predefined answers (which is probably not that bad but I'd rather type all the answers manually).

Speech sound is clear. Good pace of introducing new words and phrases. It is frustrating sometimes when I don't know an answer and ask the program for help, since it then provides the answer and immediately changes to the next screen without waiting for me to indicate I am ready to continue. This limits my ability to learn and retain information.

I like the app. Good price, but every time I try to to the listen and repeat or choose the speaking lesson as a choice I can never finish it because it freezes on certain words and I have to go out and come back in. This is a hindrance to my learning and moving on.

I do love the app so far. I've had it almost a year. But the one thing I wish they would do is allow you to unmark lessons as done. I get busy different times of the year and don't use the app for a while. When I get back into it, I like to redo lessons as a good refresher. It would be much easier to remember where I left off on older completed lessons if I could uncheck them as done. Other than that though, I'm very much enjoying the app.

I have tried it. It wasn't for me. For some it might be okay. To me it needs some work. Like be able to adjust voice speed and repeat. Spell as it sounds to help right pronunciation my language. Got a refund after a mixup of payment. They proved to be helpful and concerned when it counts. Three stars for working at it and being interesting understanding. Just needs a bunch of more work to fore fill the need in a complicated need. Communication is a world that is just that...

Simulated conversation is asking if you want a beer. Worldly influences are bad for Christians. App design looks old. Very confusing as they use lots of complicated complete sentences from the beginning. Won't give you a student discount without entering your last four ss numbers in a third party site. App's microphone doesn't work half the time.

Babbel is one of the top language apps currently available. I only wish there were functionality to slow down the speaking during the lessons or to pause it before moving on. I like to repeat as I'm learning, and not having the option to slow down during the lesson or to decide when I move to the next question is a little frustrating, especially when learning a language that is nothing like one's native language.

Babbel provides a highly engaging platform to learn a language through writing, speaking, hearing AND reading lessons! It's amazing. 4 stars because (i) there isn't an option to track progress beyond the current week, (ii) the app doesn't wait to pause and give me time to reflect upon the pronunciations of certain sentences during the daily Swedish lessons; It just goes to the next question as soon as I choose/write the correct answer. 5 stars for sure if it's fixed! 🔥

Speaking exercise is next to pointless as it never understands me and yes I've tried adjusting the microphone setting. My wife even said I spoke exactly the same as the lesson required but it didn't hear/understand me. Wish it focused more on everyday things you may need than, say, making you learn about a volcano in Xinantécatl!! Yes, at some point I would like to learn about hard to pronounce places but right now I really would like to buy some apples / talk about the weather!!

You are enabled to learn using the senses holistically: visuals, listening and reading as well as repeating/speaking (if microphone is enabled, of course). I like that as it completes the learning experience. Good vocabulary and grammar sections including tips and information through pop-up windows. Thumbs up I'm a paying for the full experience, so I cannot say anything about the free version.

Babbel is a big help correcting my German pronounciation, which promotes confidence. I enjoy learning short, useful conversation pieces that I can practice with myself. I'm more of a traditional learner (textbooks, workbooks) so I've being taking screenshots and then making flashcards. It all helps learning!

The biggest problem with this app is the speaking element. I have asked friends who are native German speakers to repeat the words and the app continues to say the pronunciation is wrong. Mmm...let me see. A native speaker or the app!! You tell me which is right?

It really does pique interest with the model it uses for learning. I feel I will fluent in a few weeks... great job

Awesome and easy to learn. It is put into small easy digestible sections.

I've been using the app for about 4 months, and I really like it. I like how it builds knowledge, helps you practice and then re-enforces learning. As with any language you really have to commit time to get the most out of it. But I've found this the most effective learning experience of all the different methods I've tried. The speech detection isn't always perfect, but that might just be my poor accent. It works far better on my phone than on my computer.

This app is so frustrating!! When i try to repeat sentences back it doesn't hear me and i get the answers wrong. When i try to listen to conversations and answer the questions it doesn't play any of the conversation, so i can't answer. I prepaid for 6 months! What a mistake. If anyone is considering signing up, think twice!

This app is the best of the language learning apps that I've found that can be accessed on the most types of devices. I don't like that it sometimes forces me to listen to sentences that I'm already familiar with but this app is the least guilty of that issue. The review system in Babbel is great and doesn't feel like a constant scramble to keep up and the lessons have clear learning objectives.

I am learning French. The pronunciation check is way off on some words. I have to pronounce the T in words like "sont" in order for it to count as correct. I also hate how it re-orders choices randomly, and doesn't have an option to slow speaking. I also think an actual placement quiz would be nice because it started me at the beginning screen though I said I had experience. UI is clunky and laggy too. Not worth the price in my opinion.

I absolutely love this app. Learning German for my year abroad from scratch and it's taken it step by step really well. I feel like I'm learning things in context and not random words for no reason and then reviewing them daily is super effective. 100% would recommend this app to any beginners or if you're picking back up.

Easy to use. Really helps learning a language by yourself but it has one big problem: once you start a lesson you can't go backwards to its beginning or move forward at your will. And it has a very limited format of lessons.

The app is good but support is pathetic. I mailed twice to babbel support that even after paying for subscription i was not getting access but yet to get any response.

Babbel is the best language learning app i've ever used. You can practice your speaking, listening and writing skills as if you were in any teaching center

It's a very useful app I believe that I can learn German in just a month if I practice 30mins everyday I have never found an easiest way to learn any other languages than this app

This app is great. The lessons really drive home the new words and sentences. The review feature keeps them fresh in my mind. Lastly, I bought the lifetime membership so I feel I will get my 💰 worth, even when going at a slow pace. I've been using for 2 years. Almost to intermediate Spanish. There are a lot of lessons!

This app is very good for learning languages. I love the new listening exercises that allow you to listen and translate what you heard in the language that you are learning. You learn phrases and grammar which help you to have conversations in real life situations. I went to France recently and was actually able to converse with locals because of this.

Good app lessons are well structured. I give it a 3 star because once my subscription ended it locked me out of all the previous lessons I had completed so I can't go back and review. It makes since future lessons would be locked out once subscription is over but the previous ones shouldn't be. I feel I paid for those I should get to keep them. So anyone getting this I highly recommend copying your lessons with pen and paper so you have a hard copy.

I would rate this higher if not for a glaring issue. The voice recognition on this app just doesn't work, this is the part where you practice speaking your new language. I'm taking Spanish, and I go through the lesson fine until I get to that part. It really throws off the whole thing, you're just frozen and can't go any further. It makes it all the worse given that I'm paying for these lessons and I can't get out of them what I need.

Babbel make lesrning a new language easy. You can restart any module as many times as it takes to insure you are retaining the instruction.

The speech is pretty fast on the lead up to where answers are requested. I am reading line one while they are talking on line 4.

This makes learning fun as compared to old fashioned, repeat after me, phrases that most likely would never be said in actual conversation. I have no idea how it could be done, but to improve, interactive conversations would be helpful, to simulate an actual conversation.

Downloaded it yesterday. The first lesson went pretty smoothly but now that I try to go to the next lesson it keeps saying "you don't have connection, try again" even though I have perfect connection. I'll rate it again if it gets any better but for now the one star is even too much

Works well, and best of all, keeps me motivated to keep practicing. Nice to have multiple learning mechanisms (e.g. reading, writing, etc.) Sometime I think the speech recognition is letting me get away with bad pronunciation, other times I wonder why it flags me for what I believe is correct speech; oh well, new technology... The (danged!) flash cards really prove to me that I need to work on my vocabulary more, I rarely get 25%of them right, sigh... Luckily I do ok on the other quizzes .

Can't cancel subscription. Went to help menu and what they say to do has no relation to my app. Can't find any way to cancel after they re-newed me. They re-newed me without any notice and I can't stand companies that do it. For me it's sneaky business. Glad I used PayPal so I can cancel them from there. Hope they enjoy the money they got because they won't be getting any more.

Wish it were better prepared to block background noise when I'm trying to pronounce things. Often it rejects my attempt when I haven't even uttered a sound yet. And they show their own "keyboard" for me to type response, which doesn't have the 3 extra characters you use in Norwegian...how inappropriate is that? I have the Norwegian keyboard on my phone and use it for Duolingo, for example.

Everthing in the app works well except the parts that you record yourself speaking. It won't always stop recording after you finish the word or phrase and will always say it was pronounced wrong. I just paid the subscription fee so its dissapointing that this app isnt working right. Please fix. Thank you

I love this app and I to think that I will spend a lot of time on this app. But I think that they should add more languages. I came hear to learn how to speak Romanian but learned many other languages instead which is a good thing but in my opinion I just think that they need to add more languages to learn.

This app is Sick! I love languages, and I have found Babbel to be a great tool to use do follow this passion. The Speaking feature is quite sensitive, really pushing you to focus on proper pronunciation. The lessons themselves are well structured. I have noticed my understanding of my chosen language has increased whilst watching films, allowing me to listen without relying so much on the subtitles.

The app is simply far too wide for the screen on my Android tablet with some of the questions. It means then that it is not possible to answer them as I am unable to see the "question! It is less clunky in the app, but why does it have to be in "landscape". If I access it using Chrome I can see the entire question - in "portrait" - but everything is considerably slower. 17/08/2020 Your reply us anodyne in the extreme. No help at all. I have now twice tried to contact your help dept.

As a Complete beginner this was amazing. Nothing to difficult to start... Makes you feel like you are doing amazing. Can go back and correct mistakes at the end (aka try again) which is such a nice feature and my favorite thing is being able to voice the words and phrases I use and be told I am pronouncing them wrong/right. Very helpful.

I love it. Very helpful. I would give it 5 stars but it has to improve on its speech feedback. It doesn't always pick up on certain words I speak. Example Sí never works. Other wise great learning app.

The typewriter doesn't let you insert accents which means wrong answers constantly. Duolingo is free and a lot easier to use. Sure there may be a decrease in understanding a language but for beginners it's a lot more user-friendly. Babbel is thoughtful in pedagogy but the app is slow, buggy, and a headache overall.

So far its good but I am starting to recognize that this app is missing some important information. For example "Come stai" is informal and "come sta" is formal. I noticed there wasn't an explanation or anything explaining that difference. So I am worried I will be learning a little incorrectly... You guys need to include little things like that.

Great app. Seamless progression of content. The dash/hyphen isn't available on the keyboard of mobile version which is a bit of a nuisance when you have to type T-Shirt or EC-karte. But overall one of the best language apps out there.

I prefer Duolingo 1. DL has a free option. Babbel is pay only, and that's per language. 2. DL feels more like a game and less like a chore, doing a babbel lesson felt more like a chore. 3. Duolingo was more interactive whereas Babbel was more lesson based, you actually spend a lot of time reading a formal lesson. 3. DL had a mot more/better reading/writing/spelling to play with and practice. 4. DL has a much bigger language selection, and if you choose to pay you get all the languages. I also li
