It's like the developer gave up on this app. It won't even launch the knowledge articles for support or find the webpage for what the lights indicate and I had to reinstall to connect to my shades after a year of no issues and prompt firmware updates.

The app has made quite the change since it was first out. But the stability of the app connection to the device has always been finicky since I started with this. Connection to smartthings was the largest attraction to me to have a real smart home effect, but that took 2 years to even be passable in my experience. I don't think I'll give the smartthings connectivity another try. Now, without smartthings, this is left with a good motor and not much more. Sorry to say

Like so many others, app no longer connects to devices at all. When it worked, which was only a small fraction of the time, it was still a horrible user experience. Device firmware and customer service are similarly awful.

App seems to be unsupported lately. Articles do not load. Devices will not connect. Devices do connect to SmartThings.

App is glitchy, poorly laid out and overly complex. There is no support and is not updated.

2 yrs ago I got 6 Axis Gears. BT cntrl worked fine & after a little effort I integrated all 6 with Alexa. It all worked great! On a few glitches Pranav at Axis helped quickly! Last Dec integration w/Alexa became spotty on 1 unit after another. Accustomed to resetting & reconnecting, I tried but failed. On a video call Pranav saw flashing red during integration and concluded 4 units were bad. He promised to replace them. Now 5 wks later no replacements & no reply to emails. DISAPPOINTED!

As others have said, axis will win no races. Hardware install was easy. Smart things integration requires some hoops to jump through but it works well once setup. Can now voice control with Alexa now as well since my smart things is tied to that. It would be possible to use ifttt with smart things and webcore, a work around I use for other smart things devices

the app is fairly easy to use but the product itself is misrepresented. It does not work well with roman shades as the roman shade bar get caught upder the gear as it is rising, causing it to jam. As others have stated the rise is slow,NOT like you see on the web site video where it rises rather quickly

Absolutely one of the worst pieces of software I've used in a long time. Updating your gear breaks it. Connecting with gear works 30% of the time. UI for the app is trash and 0 integration with Google home devices.

Schedules limited to 15 minute intervals which blows my mind. Why not allow it to be down to the exact minute I want, based directly on sun patterns? App is very bare bones. Definitely need to see some enhancements before it can be considered good.
