    Love the app. The only problem is that it's not recording "all" of my trips, even though I have my location setting on high accuracy. On a positive note, I'm trending 18%-20% discount at renewal. It's now Oct. 2020. No need to track driving. The discount continues yearly. Automatically got discounts for low mileage. My insurance costs less than any of the TV ads, emails, etc from "all" of the other companies promising lowest rates. Definitely 5 🌟

    Update: Miscommunication? I think not! The response from AAA containing the formula for hard braking, which I found here and used in my review, has been changed, along with several others. I had showed it to others who also remember seeing it. AAA has adjusted what constitutes hard breaking in their app. The standard formula for hard braking is a decrease of 8 mph per second, but AAA has it at 7 mph per second, which decreases the discounts for their customers.

    I got On Board with my insurance that begin on September 6th. I am getting nothing but a frozen screen. It shows a driving score but will not let me click on number of trips Etc. Then it displays a message that says no trips are recorded yet and check back when I've completed a few trips. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled the app a couple of times and still nothing happens.

    Hard breaking is a joke. If you take your foot off the gas it will slow you down in one second. Definitely needs a better way to record hard braking. Not accurate at all but then they don't have to give the discount so in their favor. Also app doesn't work.only recorded to trips and then no others.

    I am beginning to think the hard braking aspect of this app is a scam to downgrade a drivers performance. Driving in a 60mph zone and slowing for a changing light often results in an " incident" . There is no possible way to drive close to the speed limit and stop for the light without criticism from the app. This unfair feature needs a serious review!

    When I drive short trips close to home where there are stop signs and stop lights I get hard brake warnings but when I go longer distances I get no such messages. My ratings are 90 or higher on longer trips but are lower on local trips less than 2 miles(Around 40). For some reason when I stop at a stop sign (where I come to a complete stop) or a red light it says I have a hard brake.

    The service has always been great. But it seems they no longer want to do home owner's insurance. First, nothing on the app. Second they said they were cancelling our policy. Then they agreed to let us be covered but never sent out the quote that they said they would.

    I like how it says hard braking all the time even when I don't hard brake it's like reading that every time I push on the brakes it records it as hard braking that's not fair and just to show if the app works right it never reads speeding not that I speed but you would think going 5-10 over the speed limit that it would show as speeding but again all I ever get is hard braking 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️and my score doesn't change I went walking and it indicated a hard brake I was walking how does that work?

    Inaccurate. It calculates "hard breaking" from what? I don't break hard, tend to coast to stops. Yet it still registers as a hard break. Seriously? The incidents are not marked so I have no way to know where they happened. There is no way to challenge a result.

    I hate this app. The only reason I downloaded it was for the drivability score and it never works and the notification that it's running never goes away.

    Way over sensitive on the hard braking. I made it a point not to hard brake on my entire trip because I saw that it was flagging me for that and it still said that I was hard braking!

    Meaningless criteria for discounts. If I didn't receive a discount for using the app I wouldn't use it. Not for people who drive in cities with lights that change and people pull out in front of you.

    The hard braking is ridiculous! I suddenly braked & reduced speed because some crazy dude was driving recklessly on the freeway, changed lane suddenly & cut in front of me without a safe distance. Of course, at that moment I have to brake or else I might run into that crazy dude. After that incident, my score dropped from 76 to 64, this is ridiculous.

    App is Hyper Sensitive on what is a "Hard Break" event. Best of luck when you exit a Highway to a stop sign or light, or someone cuts you off. Best to just hit them I guess...The App expects you to drop your speed on the Highway to 25 MPH 100 yards before exiting so you can be the right speed to slow at the sign. Best of luck not getting rear ended on the highway to keep from getting dinged on the App. I'm surprised they want to encourage accidents, but thats Exactly the outcome.

    extremely user friendly. once you log in all your information is readily available. you can pay your bill, look up your policy number, basicly everything you can do in the AAA store minus the DMV service. Honestly this App has come along way from when it first went live years back.

    Doesn't show all of my trips, including the ones I know I've driven extra, extra carefully with. Also counts my car's auto start/stop as hard stops. And some of my drives have been categorized incorrectly. For example, some are listed as walking, on a bus, or passenger... other than that, I like the concept. Would also be nice to know how the grading works.

    App judges slowing for a speed bump as an emergency braking incident! This is maddening. Would they rather people have or avoid an accident? Also, if I make several stops on an outing, I must restart it at each place I stop at. In short, it is clunky, inaccurate, and punitive. If I was a young guy who wanted to drive wild, I just wouldn't start the app. Good idea, but needs work. Hope update is better.

    Difficult to navigate. I was on wifi and had a signal but the app kept 'losing' signal and disconnecting. It never updated the "en route" portion. I waited 2 hours when my original ETA was only 40 minutes. Then they called me 3 times to update me that it was going take longer. 2 robo calls and an agent to give me the same ETA...You are better off just calling them, and navigating through the cumbersome ans annoying menu tree.

    I am able to see a lot of stuff on this app but what pissed me off was when I was trying to find a AAA branch location and it kept giving me the nearest one. I did not want the closest one which actually is about the same distance as the other one I was going to. It would NOT give me a list or options. I had to scroll around the map backwards to get around the location for the app to give me that location. Ridiculous!

    Not user friendly! Pain in the..... to use won't let me go into app unless I update's taking more than 10 minutes to update! If I didn't have to have it to get a discount, I would delete it! Its been an hour now...still waiting for the app to get done updating! I'm going to get another Insurance company. Done with this unfriendly thing

    Can log into the website, not the app. Website doesn't have auto insurance certificates, payments have been taken and confirm. Speaking to Steve was useless; he tells me it is working for him; well Sherlock, I wouldn't be calling if there wasn't a problem. Grade A customer service, what a joke.

    The hard braking doesn't be accurate and most of the mapping points where I drive isn't accurate either. I could start driving from home and the app says I started in the middle of my route. I could literally not have any hard breaking at all but the app says I do. Its frustrating because it has you on a point system.

    Overall, I like it. Simplistic, all the right windows, nothing misleading. It could use a feature on it that would allow partial payments. The main AAA website doesn't allow this either, but is something the developers should add for the company.

    Just reset PWD. I was able to log in on website.but not on the Apps itself. What a joke! It's bad enough waiting on hold for 30 min for help - still no one answered the phone. Still have to deal with this issue.

    Not a good app, signs you in, then asks you for log in i.d and password, but doesnt accept your log in and password, consequently, one can do nothing with the app, good roadside breakdown service, lousy app.

    Great app, but the telephone icon goes to a toll-free number labelled CAA MANITOBA?! AAA wants me to email them with my experience. I got through and got the roadside assistance I needed, but CAA MANITOBA!?

    Used to not mind utilizing the map, was able to make corrections when necessary. Now if I forget to check it on a daily basis because I can't remember if I drove or road my bike, it will lock in that score after 7 days. Pretty crappy changes that were made. It's now become more of a pain.

    I see I am not the only one having issues with app sensing hard breaking where there wasn't one. My score was 99, then this app issue started, now my score is 67. THERE WERE NO HARD BEAKING EVENTS NOR WHERE THE APP INDICATES. To coin a phrase, dont mess with my discount. I am a good driver. SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO THE APP. Just thought of something from previous reviews. If hard breaking is in 1 second intervals, what happens when there are signal issues?

    I am trying to register for an account through the app. I used to have AAA years ago, and had a different account number at that time. It won't let me register my new account number because the email is in use, and won't let me log into the old account because the account is closed. I just want to use my existing email address to log in to my new account, and have access through the app. Please help!

    This is app is horrible!!! Braking is reported inaccurately. It showed me having 11 hard brakes in one day which is ridiculous. Coasting to a stop is not a hard brake! I believe the app is designed so you won't get a discount no matter how safely you drive. I NEVER had an issue when I was with State Farm and utilized their drive safe and save program. Very frustrated and disappointed with AAA.

    The previous use of the driver program was a sham. Purposely false-flagging normal stops as 'hard-braking' to bring the score down so members wouldn't receive better discounts on their vehicle insurance. Doesn't do much. ***As you'll note AAA's response, they provide a pat answer as to how the app THEY developed, calculates the score they need to prevent you from receiving a better discount. As so many others have noticed.
