I uses app on my phone and my wife's phone so that we can share 2FA codes. I also have it on my window PCs and Chromebooks. Some reviewers complain about transferring to a new device. I've never had a problem with this. I recommend you put it on multiple devices before your are forced to transfer it. That way you have a way the access your codes in case you lose one device.

This app is underrated. It deserves 4.5++. It is the only app which works across different platforms simultaneously FOR FREE. I have a PC, an iphone and an android running this in parallel. Its even available for the apple watch. People are complaining about list view and grid view. This app is so good at its core that i can't be bothered about cosmetics.

Very anti-user in the sense that it does not allow you to recover the secret (from the QR code) to allow you to keep it somewhere else securely. It's another walled garden that tries to get you into it's ecosystem and make it harder for you to leave. Will not be recommending to anyone who cares about their data and what they do with it.

Another app that needs a mobile number to validate the account. If you are traveling and your sim card is not international, you lost access to your account. It is very enraging.

I would've easily given Authy a 5-stars review, however, it's been almost 10 years since its release, and there's still no "list" mode with codes available. The list mode will only lists the services, with an extra step clicking on the service to reveal the code. Also, the fact that in grid mode you can't adjust the view, the code screen takes a larger section of the app, whilst the below row (where the services are) are sort of cluttered and require scrolling endlessly to research the service.

1) Why only max 20 characters allowed for logo search field? 👎 2) Why can't I upload my own logos for saved accounts? 👎 3) Searching for "Desired" logos eventually stops working w/error "No logo found" and I have to wait several hours before search starts working again AND only to have it stop working again and repeat the same thing over and over! 👎 4) Make tiles bigger! In "Grid" mode the tiles are to small, as the selected tile takes up the upper 70% of displayed token! A waist of space! 👎

I recommend to use this 2 Factor Authentication app, it is way safer than the google one. Only one problem which is not technical at all. The look of the app is kinda old, this isn't necessary but if you will update it like the app on IOS it would be even more popular.
