Transport PIN from the letter "wrong" according to the app even though I definitely put it in correctly. Maybe someone deleted the database at some point? Given you can't use the eID anywhere meaningful really anyway, I'm not too sad. Couldn't find any information on how to get a new PIN in my city either. If you really want to live in a country with even just a minimum of digital state services, better just move out of Germany.

I tried postident with this app and I tried to change my 5-digit transport pin but it was not working. Then the pin changing option was blocked and I had to enter the 10-digit PUK to enable the pin-change option. But guess what? I entered the PUK several times and each time I checked thhe PUK several times before enetering but it did not work. Now I cannot change the pin and also cannot do my postident. What's the point of having an option if that doesn't work properly?

Multiple issues: 1. Electronic Aufenthaltstitel identified as "unsupported document/card" on Galaxy S9. 2. I've also seen the "eID not activated" error 3. Not really clear how to activate the eID, no step by step process saying what you need to do The worst part is that on the official website it says you can activate it by entering the transport PIN and setting your own pin in the app. The app tells me when i scan my card to change PIN "the card isn't activated yet" 😂

Useless. Connection seems established, as it asks for the PIN, but then it always show that connection was lost.

simply it will not connect with Ausweis through NFC, I am using Samsung S9 plus meanwhile work perfectly on Apple iphone 8. Edit thanks for support,after plugging the charger, its working fine

Just doesn't work. I have an NFT capable phone but the app won't recognise my card no matter how many different ways I position it on the screen.

Extremely inefficient and coded with two left hands. I lost an hour trying to pair it with my PC and Samsung Galaxy, to configure both CSL Card Reader (Realtec chip) mode and a Sac mode with NFC enabled. Just a waste of time! The instructions are very unclear and useless, the UI is poor. This app will be moved to dev/null with the next few seconds.

The ID card Information are not locally stored, which means the app cannot be used as an electronic ID (without the physical ID card) in case you forget your wallet. Suggestion: use fingerprint accessible encryption to store the ID card information locally (just like Google Pay) to make the ID Card available offline without the physical ID card.

this App is almost useless! UI and documentation are horrible! Even on a new and expensive phone it is not working correctly. German software is garbage, so I am not surprised that this App is garbage too (and I know because I work in IT)
