Hi, I updated my name on the ATO a number of weeks ago and the change has yet to be reflected on MyGov (even though it's the only service linked at the moment). This had made it impossible to verify identities online for access to any other service. How long does it take the update to be pushed through???

I have had this app on my phone for a couple of years, its been great for recording work related education expenses and travel. Now I'm working as a sub contractor, I'd like to access it it from my Surface Pro, but don't seem to be able to add it to this device. Any suggestions?

I used this app all last year and today went to open it to prepare for tax time. The app said it needed to update before I could use it. After the update, it deleted everything. All the recipes, trips, expenses. The lot. I note it now has the option of creating a back up, but that wasn't the case in the old version and yes i did check that i was looking at the correct year.

I have setup the quick login feature using biometrics but everytime I open the app I get the same message "It's been a while since you have used this device to login, we need to verify your details through myGov again". I have tried all the troubleshooting step but with no success. It is very annoying, as I keep doing the setup all over again and enable quick login, then logout and logback in right away only to see the same error message over and over again. Please provide me with a solution.

I downloaded this app so i could quickly add expenses as I go. Since the update, I now have to remember my mygov username and password, and do a text code to login each time. Then I have to go through 3 different screens to get to mydeductions. It's not quick and easy anymore. I appreciate being able to access the other tax info, but for me the app has lost it's primary usability.

Can't get passed the log in. Redirects me to mygov in a browser, i sign in, it says it sent a code to my phone, but it never comes. And i know they have my number because if i click 'forgot username' they sms it to me

Login into the app has been made unnecessarily complicated and time consuming. Most apps are on the phone right what's the point on making us log in, get a code via text (which defeats the purpose for two point verification) to take a photo of our receipt. Should change it back to the old system that worked like a charm

DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP TO KEEP RECORDS FOR TAX PURPOSES. Even if you enable backups. Very real chance it just won't back it up or store your data in any way. I had a full years worth I now have to manually go back and redo from scratch. Incompetent *****.

It's useless since update. Keeps logging me off every time I go to the next page. But today was the biggest epic fail! I tried to download my COVID vaccination certificate on my Android phone (Samsung) and it displayed an error message saying that this action is only available on Android devices and therefore I cannot proceed!!! 🤦🤦🤦

Amazing app guys!! It's now working on Android 12 beta 3.1 and now I can sign in via fingerprint reader and all of tabs in the ATO app is working and can see my Tax return, super etc... Thank you ATO. FYI Google released Android 12 beta 3.1 this morning and must of fixed few issues and now ATO app and my other app are working great.
