Edit: please add empty bin for deleted choices! The only way now is to clear data, but that refills the list & needs deleting... And resetting all the keywords, watchlist etc. Still loving the app! It covers the usual type of freebie, but also some really great apps. Its watchlist just paid dividends. I just saved nearly £30 on a pro version I put on it without much hope when it was about £10. Price had rocketed but I left it there in case it dropped. Honestly didn't think I'd get it free!

apk I've used over a year now. Yet the app doesn't provide my location so the prices displayed are wrong. Developers don't seem to be updating location list. As others suggested swipe is too sensitive so apps are accidentally dismissed. Came here because I am looking for alternative. Incorrect prices displayed renders the app experience to be frustrating and time consuming and is definitely not worth a subscription. Else good app, clean interface, easy to use and keep track of app sales.

Useful app, just a shame it's so difficult to find specific apps. For me l try to keep an eye out for icon packs. I downloaded this app as the play store got rid of the collection they used to do for all apps on sale/for free. Other than that gripe l hav, as l say, it's a good app. Very useful.

Helpful app since the Play Store removed the 'apps on sale' section (such a disappointment). Has great filter capabilities that really do work! The only let down is the watchlist. It constantly states no changes to my selection of apps when there are infact numerous changes, I stumbled upon this error when an app in my list but despite this the app is still definitely worth having. I almost always find something I'm interested in that is on sale or free.

Love this app! In a market full of knock off and me too type app you can find any number of paid gone free and "on sale" apps but this one stands tall exceeding expecations in every possible way! from the persoal watch list to the previous price history. If you ony have one app shopping helper it's got to be this one. If you want a couple start here then look at PaidAppsGoneFree as a 2nd; Happy shoping! P.S. Also look at Purchase History for your history needs

Easy way to track sales. The only issue is that very new apps that are added to the store, don't seem to show up when you want to add it to the watch list.

A bit hard at times to se the ads from the sales apps, but that might be the idea. On the other hand there is no fullscreen 30 sec ads at all so that is a good thing

Neat app. How about an option to also show how often an app has been on sale and with what discount? There are lot of apps that are basically always on sale and aren't worth showing here.

Good app showing collections of app on sales in Google Play. Makes it easy to see if there's a good bargain. 🇲🇾 MYR currency is not in app.

Wonderful app for keeping track of discounted and free apps. Has allowed me to pick up apps I've wanted for some time. Takes you right to the app in the Play Store. I check it EVERY day. Constantly being updated as apps get discounted. Lets you know how long the discount will last. This allows for deciding which apps to pick up first if you have a weekly budget for app buying. A very easy way to find this ever-changing info. Ads are appropriate, clearly marked, and never intrusive.

Great app so far, ads aren't exploding in your face or blocking anything. Numerous apps on sale strewn throughout the game store that aren't visible anymore because the app store sucks, but this app lets you see them all. I'd always go through the app store looking for free or cheap games, "AppSales" is perfect for finding games and whatever else either free or on sale. Highly recommend! 😁

This app has always been my favorite, no pushed content or any publicity for some developer like other apps, ads are tolerable and overall does its job perfectly.

You scroll through the list with apps to see what's below...and renews itself...and you start from the top again... And you scroll through the list again to get to the app you stopped at...and it renews again in several minutes...aaaagggrr...what the f...???? It can drive crazy anyone)...beyond this it's perfect app :-). But these 'games' with renewal of list with apps every several minutes with losting focus for user on where he/she/it was it is one of the worst things in the world).

  18. Paul Mitchell-avatar

Good opportunities! Most frustrating thing about the app is the minimal touch required to dismiss and "lose" the app. "Select" an app with the wrong touch, it's wipes off the screen and dismisses app from list! Needs an UNDO or "restore dismissed apps" function OR (preferably) a less-sensitive swipe to dismiss (swipe an inch or more to dismiss).

Good. Helpful if any sales going on in playstore. Could be better if they provide some search box to filter respective apps only for display.

not so many ads, works as expected. quite good! but keep in mind fdroid is generally a better idea... edited: in fact, i just decided to only use free gnu apps from now on! so, if the app ever charged any money, specially giving some to google, is of negative interest to me... and that makes even this very app a bit less meaningful.

  22. Peter Weston-avatar

The App itself is good but most of the sale items are repetitive junk. Considering these items are only supposedly on sale periodically, they appear week after week which appears to be an offload of those apps that don't sell themselves. Having said that, I have found a few gems amongst the trash.

  23. Adam Dow-avatar

As an app that shows sales, it works but it has some bugs. Some apps don't exist on Aust store. AppSales is either getting prices from US app store or just picking prices at random. I am referring to the original price EG I just saw app reduced from 3.99 to 0 but on Android app store its listed price was $15. I paid for full version of AppSales so it's not that. I can't comment on "reduced" price accuracy as I only use for apps reduced to $0 EDIT: it has gotten better over time

Amazing app ideal to get great discounts on Android apps. I'm unsure if it's because of the most recent Android update or because of a recent bug but the lower half of all list disappeared and can't be interacted with. Scrolling is also broken. Hope you guys fix it soon !

Excellent app to catch all deals and free apps available any given day. You can track any app you want and it will tell you when it is discounted. Love it!

This app is perfection. If you purchase apps or games on the Play Store, or even if you only download the free ones, this is what you need. It'll let you save a lot of money in the long term, it's almost like cheating. Godsend.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this app long time ago. I don't write many reviews, but this one deserves one. Very responsive developers, premium version is better but it's not a must, I've downloaded many good paid apps that were free for a small period of time, so thank you very much. Friendly UI, never encountered a bug, overall great app. Keep up the good work devs!

I appreciate the update. At first I wasn't sure, but it's growing on me. Couple of requests. 1) please offer a one premium charge. I would pay for it, but I won't pay a subscription and I won't watch ads. I would love to support it as a premium 1x payment. 2) there is an option to export/import dismissed apps. Please add an option export/import the watchlist. Thanks

Very useful app for finding free/discounted apps on the play store. The only downsides are that the ratings of some apps shown in AppSales are not always accurate (though this doesn't happen too often, it is still annoying when it does happen), and sometimes I will come across apps on the play store that are on sale but are not shown in AppSales. Other than that, like I said this app is quite useful and definitely worth having on your android device!

  41. Ray Hoertz-avatar

Absolutely the best app to find sales, track app prices, and be notified about sales on apps you choose to follow (my favorite feature). Just use the share feature in Google play to send an app to AppSales and you can add it to your watch list. If the price drops you will get a notification about it. Truly an awesome tool to discover great deals and new apps you would otherwise miss.

Awesome app that has for sure saved me money over the past couple of years. I've stuck with premium for the 2 years I've had it. The only major negative I have with it, is that the notifications haven't worked for ages now. I no longer receive notifications on sales or anything so I miss out on deals especially the ones in my watchlist. If that was fixed this would be 5 stars for me.

New version 10.0 looks great, however removing "now free" category and not being able to filter for price range means lack of basic functionality. I had good times with the app, but after using v10, my recommendation is to follow me and uninstall. Update: thank you to bring back "now free", I have updated rating accordingly. For a 5 star rating still functionality of price range in Highlights are missing.

This Apps is really working good a week ago. But now it is pain in the ass. Before the update(redesign) all you have to do is to open the apps and click FREE if you just looking for a Free apps or on sale for bargain one. Now you have to waste your time browsing ups and down until your eyes get hurt and thumbs get numb before you can find what you are looking for. Bad design and decision. After this review, I will be deleting this app. I brought back 5 Star review. Developer listened. Good job!

Your app is amazing but the new interface update is terrible. I like the old one better. Edit: changed to 5 stars. Thank you for your response. I am getting use to it but still, I loved the old one better. Anyway, I changed it to dark theme and looks better. I hope you guys will consider more color editing for the interface. This seems to work. Thanks!

  48. Scott Fried-avatar

Ive used this app for years and loved it. While I appreciate the effort the developers put into the update, it just seems so much more cluttered now. It used to mainly show me good quality game sales, now it seems to just be spammed with tons of apps I have no care for. I filtered off a lot of non game apps but its still cluttered visually. Maybe Im doing the filters wrong but I hope the developers can make it look better.

  49. Ben Hendin-avatar

    Ben Hendin

EDIT: Updated to 3 stars for adding back the FREE search. However I have to question the reasoning behind having both the "Highlights" and "Sales" section. It would make much more sense and be a cleaner layout to consolidate these into one tab with a single filter. To be 5 stars you should actually be able to define different filter sets and toggle between them quickly or disable them entirely.

This is an EXCELLENT app for finding great deals on apps and games. Once I became tired with the doldrums of the F2P formula, I realized paid games were the way to go for quality and fun without the annoying roadblocks - so I'm someone who is always on the lookout for games and apps on sale but the only way I could find them was scouring different websites or happening on an article by accident; with intermittent listings and impracticality due to time-sensitive sales, it was a fool's errand. This app helped me find amazing treasures like Crashlands for half price and it was money well-spent (not to mention, if the app is Family Library-capable, you can assign someone like your SO or kid and they can download the game/app as well for free once you've purchased it). Not to mention countless games and apps I was able to download for free, most of which have no ads or in-app purchases. On top of which, the app has countless awesome features - even without becoming a premium user. Like an internal wishlist so you can find out if an app you like goes on sale and a blacklist so you can stop seeing apps from developers that are constantly on sale (icon packs, for instance). The app itself curates most of the info you'd need from the Play Store, like it's rating and how many downloads it has - plus the description and the pictures/video - and directs you to the app in the Play Store when you're ready to download or if you want to more info (like reading the reviews). It also tells you how much the app has been discounted so you know how a good a deal you're getting. They've even recently made positive changes that benefit free users and in their update releases, they explain their changes - even the ones about their ads, so you really feel like you're in the loop and they encourage you to contact them if you're experiencing any problems. Very much a white-hat organization here and I couldn't be happier with the app. Honestly, both Google Play and the paid app/game developers should be thanking AppSales because they wouldn't have gotten as much of my business had it not been for this app. I don't hand out 5 stars to just anyone, but I've had nothing but a good experience from this app. I even liked how they explained why they had to switch from native ads (which were quite honestly not deceptive in any way, they were clearly marked) to banner ads and maligned they had to make the change, apologizing for it - I was pleasantly surprised by their transparency. Keep up the great work!

Great service. I just add whatever paid applications I'm interested in and forget about them, knowing very well that I'll be notified as soon as one of them is on sale. It offered me the better price in a lot of my Google Play purchases. Even though I didn't find the subscription to be a must, due to the fact that I never went above 50 applications in my wishlist, I'm happily subscribed for the ad-free experience and as my way to say thank you.

  52. Jon McColeman-avatar

    Jon McColeman

I check it everyday! The only issue is there's a ton of icon packs in the way of actual apps. if there could be some sort of filter for different types of apps, that would be great! Edit: as of the 10.0 update, there is a filter exclusion setting! Thank you developer, that's exactly what I was hoping for! Upped to 5 stars

  53. Kongsicle-avatar

Had to start using this because the idiots at Google decided it was a good idea to get rid of the "Sales" section in the Playstore a couple of months ago. Only problem with this app is if you're only looking for games you have to go through & unclick tons of other things that are unrelated. It needs to be revamped where you decide what you want to see FIRST instead of having to uncheck things that you don't want to see. Not very user-friendly in that respect.

  54. Alexander Gieg-avatar

I discovered and purchased several great apps through this, and I'm seriously thinking of subscribing to the paid version down the line! The one problem it has is it doesn't reliably detect changes in in-app purchase prices (or at all, I can't say which one). One of the apps I added to my watchlist had its max in-app purchase price reduced by 30%. That's relevant as in that app the max price buys the full version. Alas, AppSales didn't detect the price drop. Fix that and it'll be 5 stars!

  55. Shezrai-avatar

Horrible update! Added in video ads, pushing us towards the 1.99 a YEAR subscription. If AppSales had a paid version (not a subscription), I would have bought it years ago. Took away the free category so now we have to go through multiple steps to see the free apps on sale without other paid sale apps. I liked the old way it showed me apps. It seemed like the relevant apps were always in the first list. Not even tinkering with the settings helps now. Took away the community rating system also.

It's a decent app. But the banner ads placement is so retarded. It covered the app content. This dev surely don't know a basic thing to consider a good app. Most app like this only have ONE purchase but this one need a subscription. I will never do that, you see we come to your app to search for discounted or free app. What will you expect from that and implemented the subscription. What a ridiculous developer. 1/10 Stars

A really good customer service oriented app. It just easier with this app to know whats on sale and its price history. I have downloaded many paid apps, totally free of any cost or reduced cost , because I came to know about them through this app. Going to use this free version for a little more time and then I am upgrading to premium.

  58. Stan Silverman-avatar

Sorry I can only give 4 stars. I find quite often that there are more temporarily free apps being offered when I look at a developer's catalog that are not showing up in this app. I have the options set to show all apps of all ratings by all devs, with nothing blacklisted. They also match the minimum downloads and ratings but I wish that I could remove all the minimum restrictions as well. Hope this can be fixed but still really very good. P.S. Is there anyway to sync a user's google wishlist?

Been using this for awhile, after discovered few years ago. Totally unbothered with the premium trial because the free version was enough for my usage. It will notify the best deals you could get in store by daily basis. Just that, was frustrated with the Now Free app listing because most of them were the lowest quality app you could find in Play Store (I would blame Google for allowing these craps to be published in store). Overall satisfied with AppSales.

I'm using this app for a couple of months now. I saved over 20$ on apps that I wanted (placed them on my watchlist, and waited for sale notifications). I bought the yearly subscription to get rid of the ads, and get some advanced features. I will definitely renew my subscription (no-brainer).

I like this app however missing sorting options(price or discount), group or filter to apps or games (if it is an option to do), discount tab shows 100% free ones as well which have separate tab. However still a better browsing experience than play store. Yes I found the filter on main tab which is pretty handy but it is far from ideal. Still a great app though.

Awesome app when comes to finding the best deals on PlayStore. Not only because it shows what apps are on sale or free, but also because is a nice way to find new apps you never heard of. One thing that I would like to see in this app is the RON (Romanian currency) included in the app so I can easily notice the old price of the app.

Global Sale Filter not working anymore. It doesn't keep its options from one sale list to another; i. e. each list now has its own "global" filter. That, with Global Sale Filter turned on in Settings and after a Clear Data to the app. Individual list filters not working either: they forget their options if one goes to another list and back again. EDIT: Congratulations! Bug corrected. I'll update from 1 to 4 stars.

I would like to have the option to receive notifications only about true free apps and games, and filter them for the most stared ones as well as the option to sort the apps by stars and by original price in order to filter the junk, unuseful apps. Noticed that not all of the apps on Google's Play store are searchable. Also, an AMOLED theme can never harm an app. I will update the review as soon as these crutial features get their way to the app and when you reply to me so I notice.

Version 10 is a colossal improvement on an already great app. Thank you SO much for the grouping of sales by the same creator, it declogs the list of all those icon packs without me having to do anything about hiding them. The swipe-to-hide function is extremely useful too! Great job to everyone who worked on this.

Have this app installed from a long time. It has saved me some money and got me some sweet deals too. I like the new app redesign. I have mailed the developer with some suggestions but haven't recieved any reply. The option to hide ads for 24 hrs by watching a short ad is also very welcome. Thank you dev!

Best app that I've used so far for finding cheap sales and sometimes free paid apps. Has wishlist notifications, which the play store does not. I also love the highlights tab that shows the deals on only the top, more popular apps. I'm building quite the premium app library for fractions of their actual cost. Overall, this is much easier than looking through the deals section on the play store. Highly recommended.

This app is da bomb! It has saved me so much money on paid apps. It's clean, well organized, very up-to-date and has convenient settings. I browse it regularly and have found some great games and apps for free or highly discounted. Another good thing about this app is that it's free and its ads are not invasive, and it doesn't ask to be rated all the time. Great work! 👍

Edit : Removing 2 stars because I just realized now you don't get temporary premium anymore for watching an ad but just temporary ad-free for 1 days, exit temporary premium features. Completely useless watching ads now. Something to make it even better, maybe changing price colors when there's a discount and/or when it's free instead of all white, that way we can see at a glance.

I used almost every day to check the sales at Google Play Store. The watchlist option it's very useful. But, sometimes I can't found some apps or games and then I can't add to the watchlist. This is why I put a four and not a five. Good job!!

The newest version no longer has the tab for "free" apps. Now they're mixed in with all of the ones on sale. I went back to the previous version and I disabled updates. 4 stars for the old version, 2 stars for the new.

This used to be an amazing app a few years ago, now it misses way too many sales. The current Thanksgiving holiday sale is a perfect example. There are sooooo many more apps and games on sale than what AppSales shows. Too bad.

Great source of apps, and games that have been discounted up to 100% ! ! Can have everyday notifications w preview of new apps available. Nice for trying out apps/ games that you normally wouldn't have bought at full price, but are still curious about. All in all AppSales is a definite 5☆ app in my book......worthy of your time. Good new Material 2.0 design. Only reason i have given less stars because the navigation bar is still left black , which will be the culprit of burn-in. Should follow google apps design and make that colourful too. Also it looks cool that way.

It took a response from the devs, for me to realise what the highlight tab was for, and how easy it is to filter out apps with in app purchases, ads etc. Now I could not be happier and premium is also well worth the price. I do wish they would make the timeline history for up to 2 years. A+

Non consistent "information". Eg today in the "latest sales" section, the most recent sale is a free app called Timologic, added 22 mins ago. Yet when I check the "now free" section, Timologic is nowhere to be seen, a sale from 2 hours ago being the most recent. Therefore this is useless.
