I installed Apps Backup and Restore, then backed up all of my apps to the SD card. Then I did a factory reset on my phone because I was having some problems. After that I reinstalled Apps Backup and went to restore my apps, and nothing was there. It was a big disappointment. This app is useless. I can't post this review until I click a star. This app doesn't deserve a star, so pretend it isn't there.

Ads are reasonable and nonintrusive, no pop-ups/overs or show stoppers. I love the batch extractions, they run quite quickly (maybe too quick?). I haven't had much of a chance to test the restore function, or the resulting extracted files' compatibility with other installers. The good news is you can house that folder on any storage device (all of mine work). The bad news is that folder MUST be named Apps_backup_reinstall (Huh???), which is strange considering the name of the app.

Doesn't work Tried to back up my app's data, but it didn't do anything at all. Backed up, changed some things for testing, then hit restore, and it did absolutly nothing. Do not install if you want something that actually works.

Nice app, did what I required. Clear layout. Uploading to Dropbox or similar for off device storage is awkward, pasting and copying, as I have no SD card facility and most APKs too big for Yahoo Mail attachment. Sometimes creates a backup folder that is not visible on pc, so I have to copy and paste it again, then delete the original with the tablet. Using Old Nexus 7 stuck on 7.1.2.

Android 10 backs up but won't restore the apps say not installed at end of restore installation. Can't even side load from the bk apps it makes.

EDIT 2021-05-18: I still love this app, but recently it takes a really long time to load the list of installed apps and sometimes backing up apps only works after a few tries. - Works great and without hassle. Intuitive, clean interface. Ads are small and not intrusive. If you're looking for an easy way to backup/restore apps to/from your SD card, this is it. My only complaint is that you cannot rename the save folder the APKs are stored in. Would give this app five stars, if that was added.

Nice app, but it now crashes when you have a lot of backups. (Crash happens while loading the list of apps in backup) Android 9, 4gb ram)

App is so-so. It constantly list many "archived" apps as not archived so you archive them (again) & it makes duplicate copies of the exact same version of the app with (1), (2), & so on extentions! I used file manager to find I had 2.3Gb of these duplicate backups wasting my storage! Some archived apps simply will not "restore" through the app! It will report parsing errors or goes thru install then states app not installed - but using file manager to run .apk files from app's folder installs!

1. Needs a refresh button. and 2. to display the number of apps in a separate tab. because of font enlargement. 3. Needs a choice of user apps, system apps, sd card and so on. Otherwise good.
