Reviews From google play store

A great feature set, but suffers heavily from bugs and unreliability problems. The problems come from the fact that I cannot trust this app to download a set of files or a large file because anything can make it crash. Rotate screen? Crash. Screen went off for a while? Crash. Trying to write to SD Card? Sorry, Android 4.4 and on can't. I spent a good hour trying to get this app to write to the SD Card, no avail, re-installed it, tried giving the permissions manually, etc. This app has aged and it shows, I cannot pay for a Pro version because the free version doesn't instill enough confidence. Love the sync feature dou.

It works, it's intuitive, and it supports batch transfers, but that's about all I can say for it. It sends a LOT of unnecessary commands to the server (CWD before every transfer I can maybe excuse, but LIST after every file while doing a batch upload? Really?) and it's appallingly slow. During large batch uploads, there are big gaps between files as if it's iterating O(n) over every file it's already sent. This can get up to multiple seconds with 100 files or so.

Generally works as expected. BUT the "screen rotation kills connection" bug is brutal. It's bad enough I'm tempted to use something else even though I bought the AndFTP Pro option. Also, any loss of connection causes the app to get stuck in a useless state and requires reopening it, thus losing your place in the app, selections, etc. Suggestions: * better "resume" functionality. I can't tell if AndFTP is trying to resume a partial file (good) or overwrite a complete file (bad). * "download/upload + delete on success", a la WinSCP would be great. Especially since AndFTP clears selections after transferring Ughhhh, WHILE I was typing this review AndFTP crapped out for an unknown reason and will require a restart. Boo!

As an FTP works perfectly, but the SYNC feature does not work (scheduled transfer never happens), unclear which features are premium, this perhaps? Until I know, cant decide

She ain't pretty, but she gets the job done. Function over form and I'm not complaining, great app. It uses an old Android UI, but it works great. Some small banner ads, but those don't bug me for a great free app and there's no fullscreens pop-ups or anything.

Had a problem getting some thin client devices talking to a FileZilla ftp server in our DMZ,.... downloaded this to my phone to simulate an external user, and got it working, was then a snip to replicate on the thin devices.

Solid app. Only complaints are the UI is quite old-android style and hence a bit ugly and hard to use - it could do with a bit of a makeover, but overall a solid app.

I will give you five stars if you can correct the display of file names in Thai characters. At the moment they are garbled -- while your other app andSMB works fine with Thai file names.

FTP and SFTP connection are very slow. Don't working properly on background.

Great app. Does what it says. Flipping brilliant, actually!!
