The app was totally fine a few months ago, and the updates that came later have totally messed it up. The filters are a pain to use these days, and after selecting one category in filters it exits and we have to go back in to add another filter. The images of the products have become too small and a single page shows only few products, and we have to click on next to go to the next page which is taking forever to load. Just restore the app to what it was earlier!


Amazing shopping experience. But still would like some issues to fix. When we use filter 'Price low to high' irrelevant items become part of filtered result. Second, in some cases, when we select to see product... the price varies from what was shown in the list. Some times, products apper in COD filtered list but when you actually proceed to pay, COD is unavailable which is mis-leading.


Non user-friendly UI. (a) The app filters are pathetic! Takes two decades to open after clicking on it. (b) Why can't you guys have filter like Flipkart? Select all criteria and then apply the filters? After waiting for two decades (refer point a) with every criteria I select the filter gets applied automatically. Then I have to wait to apply the next criteria.


This app frustrates you. You choose a category of product then if you sort low to High, or high to low. It doesn't do that. Still prices are mixed. This app have been here for so long still such low performance. Edit-still the worst app. Not user friendly. Glitches. It's not a pleasant experience at all. I come here just to see if lower price but end up frustrated and return to other apps. SORT BY AND FILTERS just doesn't work as intended.


The filter button has a lot of bugs. It rarely works, and even when it does, you can't apply multiple filters at one time. On raising the issue with amazon support, they first asked me to update my app( it was already updated), then to log out and log in again, then to re-install my app. After nothing worked; they finally told me there is a problem with my phone, and I should go to my service center (even after informing them that i do not face this issue with any other app)!!


New filter and pagination mechanism sucks. You can only add one filter at a time you open the menu. To add another filter, you need to open the filter pane again and go through the whole flow again. It was not the case previously. Only 10-20 items are displayed at once and you've to click on next to go to next page. Earlier there was an infinite scroll mechanism. Give us infinite scroll, it's not early 2000s.


I don't know why, Amazon provides such boring interface to the users. And the latest version is must more worse. The main difficulty, is that we can't find what we want. As soon as we select an option in the filter category, it goes back. This process has to be repeated for all the filters that we intend to select. Horrible in one word.


How can you bring such unuseful application updated. This recent update is good for nothing. You can get required filters for shopping, be it size, ocassion, seller, category of a brand, there's nothing we can filter now. Just browse entire collection. Plus there are too many pages now and still can't find what you needed. Need the previous version back.


Used to be a well designed app in the beginning. These days browsing the app itself is a headache. You cannot display anything more than 20 items in one page and then next...next...next... It used to be one continous scroll display of items rather than page wise. I have contacted the customer service several times but they are completely useless.


Hi guys, you have spoiled a great app 1. The new filter menu is bad, not smooth at all. 2. Now choosing between filter options is a nightmare. Also the display of search results on different pages is a let down. 3. Results on Continuous page is always easier than pressing next page button. 4. And why so many useless sponsored results. At least remove it from prime member results. All the best..


With the recent update. The app has gone from 80% efficient (which it was before) to 10%. Filters don't work as selected. The search are brining in wrong results. If 3 or more are selected it won't let you be on the screen to select more filters. I don't know what kind of UAT Amazon has, but sure they messed it up right before the holiday season.


Great site but veryyyyy poor app. Previous version was good and I'm always enjoy shopping with Amazon. But now 1. Next option in end of the page instead long scroll, 2. Poor sort options which doesn't even helps to sort the things by its rate( low to high r vice versa) 3. If I search one thing result end up in some other category which irritates to shop on this site. I don't know wt really happened with you guys please ensure proper response in app.


Changed from 5 star to 2 star. New filter feature is not user friendly. There is no option to go back by one step. If one radio button is selected, then automatically it goes back to main page and makes us repeat all steps to select another radio button within same menu. If i get into a filter heading, it doesn't allow me to come out without selecting any option. If i come out, then it comes out all the way out of entire menu... It makes the search very difficult.


The app is trash! It always shows " Oops! Something went wrong on our end. Go back to the home page. " ,when you go to search for something. Also, the " Filter section" :: It's better if I don't say anything about it. I mean " What is this?" You sell such a large number of products all over the world and still cannot fix the bugs of your app? It's hopeless trying to refresh the page as it always shows the same results. Please improve it.


Very Bad experience using this app. Previously we would get unlimited scroll options. Now everytime you have to click on the next button. And if you want to filter something, you have to constantly keep coming back to the filter page. Why can't we filter all options at one go like it was earlier? Please restore the earlier version ASAP as it was more user friendly.


Older versions were quite better. Filtering the search result sucks! Suppose I searched for "jeans", now if I want to filter brands, I need to select each and every brand one by one as clicking on a brand name automatically brings me back to my search results. Why can't I select all the brands I want, and apply all the filters simultaneously?

recent update is not at all good... The new sorting option takes a lot of time to activate, and we are not able to select multiple brands or other filters, as we select one filter it goes back to the product page, which is very annoying when we are searching for a product in a hurry. Request you to remove the latest update on the sort option.


The app is frustrating. The filters is working so bad. It doesn't open at all. I'll have click click click and wait forever to find if it's going to open. Even if it does, every time I choose a filter, the filter tab closes, the page reloads. I have to struggle and reopen the filter tab again to choose the next filter. I can choose only one filter at a time. That's the worst usability. Amazon team... Please do something. You should have found and rectified this issue long back.


I used to have a great experience browsing in the app before. I have to now apply filters one by one which is really annoying. It used to be so easy applying filters before. You select all the filters you want and press apply. But no! Amazon thought applying each and every filter individually would you fun for a person. Fix that right the hell now!


i have always loved amazon. but after this recent update, app isn't functioning well. search option is slow. And applying filter is the most irritating part of job. it flickers, you cant apply filter more than once. moreover the moment you apply a filter, it dissapears and search list refreshes with new options. you can't select multiple filters in one go.


A functional app upto some extent, but it has bugs every now and then, right now it takes me to a no internet coonection page even though stable connection is available. I tried clear cache and force stopping app, but the same keeps happening. Also it has some design issues, you have to go through multiple stages to get to a specific category. That should be worked out.


The App is robust, user friendly, uses dynamic remarketing ads which might surprise you if you search for a product on the App or the site and see the ad for the same product on your Facebook page. You have options to receive alerts of product availability if the product you are searching for is temporarily unavailable, even alerts for price drops and special offers. The best thing is you can almost find any product/ item you can think of.


Honestly, the new update is a mess for the search filters. Earlier, the pop down would allow me to apply as many checks as I want on a particular category, brand, whatever. Now, I check one box, it goes to search results, I have to again click and wait for the pop down to select another option.


After recent updates, the new interface is not at all user friendly: 1. Product load - Earlier when we scroll down products use to load automatically as and when we reach to the bottom. But now we are getting that 'Next' button which is very annoying. 2. Filter - Earlier we use to get a popup in the same window when user clicks on filter, however now we get whole new window which is again not user friendly.


Worst app ever!!!!!! It says that the Xbox One S All- Digital edition is in stock but it doesn't even has two of them!!!!!! It also increases the prices of the things or items everyday!!!!!! At first the price of the Xbox one S was 19,980 but after three or four days the price increased to 20,980 or 20,990. I can't believe they're increasing the prices so fast!!!!!! Guys I am telling you that not to use this app ever in your life!!!!!!


Amazon provides good deals and almost 95% of things are non-returned. However the most annoying thing is the "filtering" process while browsing certain product. Its so bad that sometimes even if u wish to buy something, you cant find the suitable product and move to other websites. There is no proper filters available, and after applying certain filters it shows some irrelevant products which is real pain. Plz look into it.


Please change the system of your app. While using search filters, for selecting each options it's getting me back to product list. For selection each and every choice & options, I have to click filter and I have to choose everything from the first. It's totally irritating me. And then it's getting more irritating with product list. Previous and Next pages, it's not friendly for making product searches. Why can't you make it to load in the single page. Flipkart app is better than amazon.


Used to enjoy this app more than the website. But now the app has become so slow that I keep rechecking my connection. Tested on different devices and confirmed it is the app not WiFi or mobile data. App is crashing/non-responsive most of the times while selecting a product variant or filter or on scroll down the view. Image loading takes atleast 20-30 seconds after the view is opened. While it does that, app is totally non-responsive. Hope the devs fix these issues soon.


Being a tech freak this basically is my Go To shopping app for all the needs. With the new update (at the time of writing this), the app is smoother and experience is enhanced but there are still some lagging and bugs which needs to be addressed and i'm sure the developers are working on those. I like slider to place the order.


The app has become extremly slow and it is not opening and not showing the products even i am updating it on regular basis. Very slow and feel irritating to even surf the products because either it takes several minutes or get stopped abruptly. The app is not at all user friendly now. Filters are useless and its hard to filter out things quickly.


All good, but this new color gradient (aquaous blue or green) Amazon has added to the header is really irritating to my eyes. I know a request from a single customer won't change a thing but if you could revert it back to what it was previously, that would be great. All in all I still love Amazon for its services.

Sorry guys. You were doing great. But the new update has slowed the app drastically and completely messed up the filter option. Now multiple choices aren't available anymore, and each time you reset a choice in the filter, it brings you outside the filter menu. Fix this problem. Also, the app is crashing frequently.


(1) Quite less interactive and attractive UI (2) screen loading fails often the but the biggest problem is that for everything it says "something went wrong" that keeps us helpless and unable to hit the problem. It must tell whats wrong specifically !!! Wee cant even report the matter to customer IT help as it only says something went wrong thats it nothing else!


The overall experience of the app is very fine but i have a complain regarding the refund issue , once i clicked the refund option bymistakly , but i never wanted it so ,when i tried to cancell i failed, when i talked to the customer executive they said to reorder the same product ,so reorderd it and due to which the delivery delayed for 12 days though i got refund within 30 mins but this is a very serious issue for which the amazon team should be concerned


The products are good, delivery speed is good but nearly everything available on the app is not eligible for pay on delivery . And why in the world do they have a filters option (they are completely useless). I used the eligible for POD filter, it was showing everything was eligible for it and then when I was about to order It said "this item is not eligible for POD". And when I saw the reason for it there were about 9-10reasons given and none of which were applicable.


Once upon a time the app was the best because of its search filter and browsing of products. But with latest development it has become worst. Filter has became pathetic. You can only select one option at a time so if you want to browse ethnic wear in women, then first filter then clothing, again press filter wait and then press women, again press filter wait and then select ethnic wear. Again press filter wait then sort. Please do something to bypass the wait and repetitive pressing of options.


The recent update has made our life more difficult to search and shortlist products. Instead of an app it's behaving like a website - need to click endlessly on "next & previous page" to compare and shortlist products in the category list. This is just going to promote Amazon favourite products. Lack of multiple filter points, no shortcut to home page. All in all previous version was easier to navigate.


Best online shopping app with a perfect menu list but the only issue I'm having is whenever I click on product image to open it in full screen and scroll it in between , images looks faded which I think sometimes sufficient to change my mind to purchase that item. I'm giving a star because it's not a new problem, I'm facing this since last two years.


1. It gets hanged after scrolling to the list of items after around 200 items 2. How can applying sorting reduce the result set count, very strange kind of sorting 3. Previous next also increasing/decreasing result count. Things are working strange with result count These are something that should be caught by first Dev team if not atleast QA TEAM for sure. Guess no testing before releasing. 4. Applying filters is cumbersome task,ex selecting 4-5 brand has to click atleast 15 clicks. UX IS BAD


Amazon disabled my POD without any reason. It is only happening with my account. I did not cancel any POD order since 3 years. I have tried placing an order for the same order on same address from another account and POD was there. I don't know why Amazon is doing this. I am contacting them for 3 months. Still no action taken. I request the technical team to look into this matter. I'll update the review if this issue is resolved. I am facing this issue for 6 months now.


New updated version is very bad. If you search an item, previously we were getting all the item in one single page and there was need of only to scroll down to see all the listed items. Now we have navigate using the previous and next button and thumbnails are too Big. Hardly 2 items fits in a single frame. Too irritating. Flipkart and Myntra interface is better.


I did not like the UI, as the UI is not user friendly. You have to keep clicking next immediately after viewing 5-10 items, also when we apply filter and then need to apply another filter it redirect backs to the page and then again click on filter and choose your required filters.. i think Amazon should really work on the UI part. I am uninstalling the app again.. hope you come back with a good UI.


Amazon pay experience was worst ever. I newly signed up for it. Made two transactions. Both showing pending status (even today) but money has transferred in bank but showing in app. I didn't got any cashback / first payment offers. Instead i was like forced to stop using it. "Technical fault from our side" is what this tech giant said to me.


This is a very good shopping app with lots of offers and discounts available. My latest experience prompted me to edit my previous review and it will remain till they solve it. its shipping partners are not honest and steal away items from the package. Recently I ordered a Samsung headset and it was shipped via DTDC courier. The courier personnel have opened the package, sliced open the samsung packing inside and stole the headset. Then they resealed the package with brown cellotape. :-(

Really disappointed with the app while searching for a laptop specifically. There's no filter option to select intel 9th gen or 10th gen in laptops, also the filters are worst with some latest update. For each selection they refresh the page. Really annoying if user have to select multiple options. Laptop filter on the basis of intel 9th or 10th gen is not possible here. Really disappointed


These days the app works really slow. I really don't know what's the issue. Don't tell me my internet is worling slow because other apps are working fine. It's just the amazon app which is working slow. I never thought i would have to write this for a company like amazon which specializes in this


After new upgrades in app, it has some bugs... while browsing through product list, if try to apply filter, then app automatically comes out of filter menu.... its little annoying experience... without proper filter application, its difficult to get exact product...... also now a days sponsered products are getting repeated on every page of specific product list... its rediculus and waste of customer time to see same product on every page.


The app UI is good and efficient and same goes for the service provided by Amazon. The only thing where I face problem is while browsing the details of a product, the app starts to lag. I thought regular updates would fix this but it has become a regular phenomena. Please do something about it.


I liked it's previous version way better than the current one. It's filter feature is just stupid. Everytime one selects filter it just consider only one filter and goes back to its previous page and then again you have to go back to filter every single time to add your choices of filters which is a very tedious task.

The app is even not working properly in my phone from last 2-3 updates , in earlier version it is running fine bur now whenever i open the app only a blank white screen display. Then i need to uninstall the app and download it again and re-install then i can use it for that session only , once i close the app ajd reopen it situation is same again . Phone using -One Plus 3. Please look into this matter and get back to me with proper solution.


The app is no doubt a good one but everytime I buy books from here I don't get a single book mark and I love buying books from Amazon and I've bought about 20 books from here. Each time I get a book I don't receive a bookmark in spite of the fact that they do give bookmarks. I am disappointed over this.


Gud to have the Best App from a professional seller. Low to high or vice-versa pricing/sorting needs to show all the items related to search. Pages if shown via scrolling would be highly appreciated and felxible instead of hitting next or previous; in case if networks are slow then hitting previous or next would be nightmare. To take legal action against sellers selling fake including cosmetics and faulty items.


Something is going wrong on the other end. Duplicate memory cards are sold on Amazon in the name of popular brands like Samsung and SanDisk. Amazon needs to segregate the reviews of particular product from the product they have mixed with. It misguides a lot of customer to know the truth they are buying. I know Amazon is providing option in filters to segregate but why such annoyance. Lots of bugs now there is no difference between flipkart and Amazon.


App is easy to use however there are many times when we see only regret messages with pics of cute dogs. The chat with customer care option does not allow pics or videos. This has to be done through email. If the orders are placed through the app, it should be complete in itself to interact and submit complaints. In fact the orders should be viewable alongside the chat for easy reference. There should also be rating of customer care and disposal of complaints. Want more offers on bill payment


After the update of sorting and filter the app has become laggy and hangs. You cant actually use the filter and sorting anymore. If you try to use it's very slow and lags a lot. Another issue is the new pagination style of app where it shows few results and then user have to click on next button to see more results. It simply slows down the experience. I used to love old Amazon app experience but not anymore. Uninstalling now only because of these two issues. Will use desktop website from now.


There is a bug in the application, when more than 3 filters are applied and user then tries to unselect the brand, it redirects to previous search result page.. For instance l go to women category and then select sweaters then prime fulfilled then l select a sweater brand then again try to unselect it, it does not allow to change it previous search page keep on loading.


Can't you peaple make a nice app ? Worst app ever seen...not user friendly..even filter option doesn't work well...It doesn't popup many times... even Cant filter multiple items at once...you should check out other applications like mynta..ajio..even Flipkart is far better than you... Very poor, unfortunately still a customer. The search results often are not related to the search query. Unrelated "Sponsored products" are liberally distributed in them. Filter options in most categories are not appropriate. It takes me longer to search for the correct product. I'm sure that Amazon has the AI required to correct this, but making a quick buck takes priority over customer satisfaction. They have asked for this review, I'd like to see if it generates a response, or just lies there.


Useless app. The filter option changed to one filter at once for multiple filters in any category need to click again and again. Also the list of products not showing on a page click on next button for more. Basically the developer of app is useless. Also search for a particular brand but it shows other brands also.


Lagging app with stupid Filter.. Filter option takes back to the results on each touch. No multiple filter option. How foolish.. App is too slow on top. Already raised the issue to the executive customer service team. Rating 1 star so that the development team address the issue.


This app is becoming a pain now, had become very very slow now a days. It wont respond properly sometimes it show with an error "Something went wrong try after sometime" even with hooked in to WiFi the same issue on data it's has become more horrible takes ages to respond.

App too slow nowadays and crashes very often... And please don't say huge number of connections is the reason... I'm a mobile developer miself... Sometimes filter doesn't work... Selecting the filter also doesn't work... Used to be a good app but noways Very annoying!!!


I m giving this low rating because of the permission of user. There is two options to select at permission time, one of them are "deny" and another one is "allow". When a user don't want to give the permission to read the messages and contact list, application will not work. If there is two option, both of them should work same either user gives a permission or not.


App becomes too slow after recent update. Need to refresh several times before you can view any content on home page. Not expected from Amazon, that's y it's actually funny. It's like Google all of a sudden wants to become Yahoo search engine.


App is not working properly. This afternoon it was working fine. After opening within few seconds it shows - Something went wrong on our end with a dog and link to home page but even after going to home page it ends with a helpless 🐕. The "Filter" section in the app is so sluggish and buggy and inconvenient that it's extremely frustrating to use the app at this point. What is the point of that function if it needs a separate activity of its own where you can choose only one brand at a time? Is this an alpha version or what? I have been using amazon from last 4 years. And just bought a new phone and started using it and trying to activate my amazon account in it. But its not loging in asking to confirm one of the card which i have saved beforand unfortunately the card is which very old one and which i have replaced with new card. i am not able to login to my amazon account from new phone. Also it says contact coustmer care to access. Worst coustmer support ever seen no reply here also????

The new update is pathetic. I am using it since 8 years and Amazon has mould itself and improved in such a way that people can trust easily and get the resolution in case of any issues. Now I became a regular customer of it. Thanks Amazon for such a lovely service. One of my concern is to make another feature to re-enable the cancelled product from the customer perspective. Once I faced this issue and couldn't control it as most of the things are automated in Amazon.


Previous version was good but after update, I can see lots of b change. Previously there was lots of options on filter sections but now missing. Any search result will provide scroll the screen previously, but now we need to click after sometime. Sometime I face app crash during searching. Please improve..


The new filter option is such a pain. For each filter selection, even for the hierarchical selection, you have to open the filter window all the time. You cannot select all from the same window


Status after the 11/11/19 Update: NO IMPROVEMENT. UNFORTUNATE. The App is running slow, on my Redmi Note 3. The FILTERS Feature has become practically unusable. Earlier I could set multiple criteria, like Customer Rating, Features, Price band etc, and apply ALL AT ONCE. Now, It takes few secs to show filter menu, and as soon as you select one option, it gets applied immediately. To set each option, you have to repeat the painstaking n frustrating process.


The app is continuously getting dead even if I have strong internet signals..it shows something went wrong message with some annoying dog pics. I have to uninstall & re install it every time. I never expected such a fiasco from Amazon like company in app development. I wonder if none else is reporting the same.


Great job in having the phone support. Your chat support was really bad. I have been an Amazon customer for many years. You can see my history. I have never cheated or return simply. Until n unless the item is really defective n can't be used, i don't return. But your chat support was really rude n seems eager to close the chat instead of helping me. I have been involved in customer service industry for more than 7 years but never encountered any such behaviour in my entire life.


The app is really slow now. The update has ruined the experience. To apply two filter, you need to go to the filter section twice.. This really dumb.. Previously you could select all your criteria and then apply, now you can't do that.


Products and services are good but Amazon app is very poor the filter option is too rough if I wanna select more than 1 brand I have to select again and again. Graphics and images are not good and product details and overview all things are too messy. You should learn from Flipkart and Myntra both apps are too good and smooth.


Filter option are pathetic . You are not able to create filter.. if you see filter option of other app they are very specific and as per user requiremwnt. U really need to check this find solution. If you get that fixed i will rate u better. Stocks quality are good and as such i shop on amazon.


The app is not stable after the recent update.. Pressing a particular tab open an unrelated page.. payment and order section is particularly buggy..takes a lot of time to load.. page should be designed keeping in mind poor internet connectivity in most of India ..


This app does not deserve more than 2 stars because of its lagging response and amorphous UI. This app feels like browsing a cheap website, not the app. Learn something from Flipkart and Snapdeal apps, they run hundreds times smoother than this slow- mo app. Also, product images takes too long to load & when loaded completely they are too bright and blurred, zooming them shows true colors. Govt of India's apps have more comfortable and user friendly interface than this waste app.


'Button' type selection panel is HORRIBLE! PLEASE CHANGE IT TO MULTIPLE SELECTION. It is extremely annoying to go back to selection - the whole page loads on selection that you don't want. With slow internet, it's even crazy.


Whenever I am using wifi despite having good internet speed the application keeps telling me either 'network error please check internet connection' or ' UH-OH something went wrong in our end' with a dog picture above. The app has became frustrating. I am using Redmi Note 5 Pro. I have tried to reinstalling the app also nothing helps. Please resolve the issue as soon as possible.


Need to wait very long for the product.compared to others this app takes a lot of time to deliver the product .it values only the customers who have prime membership.other deliver products faster than this app.i mean who waits for 7long days for a products but if you have prime membership it delivers in two days ..not going to buy any product from now on ..


Worst!!! Worst app for shopping. The rates are always very high as compared to other online shopping stored. Also I personally advice that never buy any item by paying money online because after getting payment they even don't care whether you have got the product in a good condition or not. And even after complaining so many times they dont care. At last I will never suggest anyone to download and shop with this worst app. Worst!!!


Poor customer support. Once you buy from them they won't entertain your calls, messages or mails. No matter how many mails you drop them they'll respond back with the same pre-typed text and the customer support won't even check the content requested. I'm totally fed of taking to their support and dropping them emails. Will never buy from Amazon again. You have lost an extremely loyal customer. Pathetic Experience. Seriously, that's how you treat your prime members?


This is a good app.But ,there is a problem in this app.that is if we are adding a account with one number and if we delete the app the account is disappeared.Again if we are installing the app again the app is asking the details.if we are logging with that account the app is not regonizing the account.It is saying that the number is blocked. So, please take care about this problem.And give our account which we have alleady loggined.


This latest update is pathetic. I am not able to work through this app. I try to open filters and the window keeps closing on its own. Also.l, i can't select more than one brands on a go. What is this nonsense update! It has become more difficult to navigate through this app.


If you want to apply multiple filters, you would have to go through the entire process of clicking filter, selecting the partifular type and filtering the item multiple times. Very hard to apply filters.


READ THIS CAREFULLY. This version of amazon sucks. Too slow and filter options doesn't works. Its take time to filter the seach. Really its frustrating update it please. Horrible experience after my phone was hard reset. The app wouldn't send the OTP. Not able to use the app.. Finally after 4 days , 3 long calls to help desk, 6 password changes and sending my id documents to Technical team the issue seem to have resolved and i am able to login.. whom i have to thank i am pondering..my persistence or the last call attended person for guiding me to sending id ..anyhow thanks all..:)


Seems they have really spoiled the good experience I early had with the application. This new update has even ruined the experience to browse for products. Products filters doesn't work well. In shoe section i can't even filter for my size and couple of brands in one go


The recent update is very bad. In the filter option we have to select each filter one by one. And also now the results are 10-20 per page. The interface should be made more convenient amd user friendly.
