i loves the game, though its harder to finish it without ads. the ending made all 3 routes to go through, absolutely worth the time i put into it. However, after you finish the game, after giving money for the extra endings and all, everything seems as if it just repeats. I would love it if the developers could do something to spend more time with Es. Something like chess or checkers or a guessing game where you could interact more with her in ways like that.

Just wow caramel Inc did so well on this. you can see the efforts they put into this rich philosophical game. the game made me question my ideals and it doesn't joke around when it says it's a self discovery game. it has a simple grinding system where you collect ego in order to continue with the story. i thought it was over with one ending but turns out there are 3 and I have to say the true ending really stuck with me. no spoilers! experience the game for yourself. if it is a game that is:)

it's a time sink to be sure. don't expect to finish this in one day. I think it's very clever to use tired mobile game cookie clicker mechanics in order to enforce that you spend time away from the narrative and really consider the choices you've made. it had to have been a conscious subversion because I doubt a game made with this much love would have defaulted to it otherwise.

If you like visual novels where choices weight heavily on the ending or games that revolve around psychology and the workings of the mind, you'll love this game. Easily Top 10 VN's I've ever played and I loved every second of it. Not to mention the "self discovery" aspect is actually surprisingly accurate, it's impressive! Due to 'Idle Clicker' elements, this game cannot be completed in one gulp despite, gameplay/story wise, it's standard visual novel length. 10/10 in music, story, and immersion

This is honestly one of my all time favorite apps, by a long shot. I believe everyone can benefit from downloading this and playing through the entirety of it. If you at all are interested in philosophical thinking or just want something you can immerse yourself in, I highly recommend this. It also has a wide variety of book recommendations, all of which are highly interesting and thought provoking. I absolutely love this app, the developers did a phenomenal job.

This was an amazing experience! I enjoyed the gameplay and how it went down. There are multiple endings but I'll wait to unlock the other two. I enjoyed how it interpreted exactly how I was and how I felt. This app helped calm me douring rough times as well. If your looking into ALTER EGO I would suggest you try it.

For some reason, I would always come across this game. I am not sure why, but I feared downloading it. A few days ago, I finally did and it was the best decision I could have made. This game is so complex and yet so simple. You meet yourself in a three dimensional way; What could be, what is and what could have been... It is all you. I would not recommend people with mental health disorders to play this game, as it can trigger crisis. I found that to be exactly what I needed.

Simple but charming. I'm always amazed at how they get all the results accurate to who I am and what I was saying. It's where therapy meets idle clicker, and they make something beautiful. Every time I retake the Catharsis assessment (the one where you type "what's bothering you"), it's like I'm talking to a real person since they results are so accurate. It's like a safespace; somewhere where you can think your own thoughts and re-evaluate yourself.

It is, on the surface, a quiet clicker game. As you go deeper, the story is thought-provoking and there are multiple endings. Starting over doesn't mean all your progress is lost, as reaching certain goals will speed up your Ego gain. My only gripe is that the game is a bit sluggish to respond to taps when collecting the thought bubbles.

I love the general idea behind this game and the implementation of the personality tests. The concept has a lot of potential to be expanded and compounded. Can't wait for the day we can raise our own personal A.I. assistants. I know this is scripted, and based on limited response input, but I think it'd be a great base for making personality adjustments or training decision making abilities.
