I totally recommend the game. Lives up to its name and is totally one of the best mobile games out there. Wish more games were like this instead of constant clicker or idle games coming out full of ads. It's worth the money and time, the game isn't played out like Alien Isolation, but well this is a mobile game and what they did with it totally fits. Still gives you that sense of fear for the xeno while you try to save the crew. Really get it if you're a fan of Alien in general.

apk Probably the most tense and atmospheric game I have ever played. I started off really not liking it but really got into it in the end. It has real issues with its interface that could be solved with common sense; such as removing characters that have already exited the level information from the side of the screen but it's easily one of the best games on Google play.

pc I would place this game in my all time Top 10 Android Games. This is without a doubt the best strategy/survival game I've played. With exceptional graphics and clear cut storyline, it makes you wanna keep going even when u fail. The game is however short with increasing levels of difficulty with each coming mission. Kudos to the Developer! Looking forward to many such games from the team. Cheers!

torwarthandschuhe This is a decent game. It does a great job being a holdover until another aliens game is made. And is quite fun even if you are just moneteeing people. It is great with suspense as you track an alien to a spot one of you crew members is hiding. The character acting is fantastic and they feel like character's I would see in one of the movies. Yes it asked for you data but I looked into that on there websites and contacted them and all it is used for us to monitor trends and talior the game to you

ps4 I ve progressed till the 4th level, so far I m enjoying the game. It has great potential, expand the levels upgrade the graphics (for a mobile game right now they are gorgeous) and port to a pc version and you ll have yourself a great game! Having a time limit is a let Down but it is justified by the small maps. Alien isolation was a great game which redifined the alien series games and if the devs here play their cards right I think they ll have a similar success!

t1tan The AI on the characters the Humans and the Aliens when you tell them to hide they take a long time I know you guys trying to make it look real like there looking for the locker but fix how fast they go for the locker when the Alien jumps down and you tell them to hide they take there sweet time next is the run if someone doesn't want to wait make them move faster also in one of the missions the one with the two Vents and the door it's dark I can't see anything I can't even the vents fix that.

mod apk Very impressive for a phone game a must have if you're an Alien fan it's pretty challenging I would recommend head phones or ear buds if you want the full affects of the scary sounds affects. Phone graphics are evolving faster with games like these it's well worth the 100 pennys I recommend it and that's saying a lot as I'm very picky about my games especially on phones.

  8. Noa Shioe-avatar

tipps Interesting concept and good visuals and atmosphere. It's a nice addition to the Alien game franchise and on android devices. It uses the lack of a controller in a way like Republique.

wiki I've only played the first level, I normally don't like games like this, but this is like 5 nights at freddy's with an alien and a crew. This game is so fun. Great job guys

  10. Traditus-avatar

wikipedia Amazing, it adds horror and strategy in the best way. Worth the money and i highly recommend. Though the dark in the game makes it harder to see in the day without a bright screen. Otherwise fantastic game!👏👏👏

Great mobile game and enough content for price. The only reason it is not 5 star is Because of some performance issues, it really shouldn't be slowdown on a octa core2.0ghz phone, otherwise game wise all fine, not a long game but enough for the price and replay value with missions

  12. Liem Tran-avatar

    Liem Tran

For a $0.99 mobile game, pretty nice. Biggest problem is the privacy concerns and the Terms of Service. In order to work, the game demands access to your contacts, calenders, location, and all system files, including make and model of the phone, IP address, etc... The TOS even says that they intend to sell the data to advertisers. The devs have come up with a complete lie to excuse this, saying it's all necessary to comply with General Data Protection Regulation laws (hint hint, it's not).

  13. Jaydon Dawson-avatar

It's a good game but it's hard and frustrating trying to control 4 little dots with specific commands while trying not to die.

  14. HydroSpeedMIRV-avatar

A bit clunky, is hard to be precise with touchscreen controls, and it's a little difficult to quickly tell each Crew member apart on the map quickly, but other than that, this is an amazing game!

  15. Dylan Farmer-avatar

the reason why I gave this a five-star rating everyone so you guys get it is because of the fact that these games came out when I was growing up so that's the reason why I gave it a five-star rating and I love these games they're pretty cool games I had them back in my PS three times but I don't know who have a good day everyone peace 😎😎😎😎😎

  16. Ag Jr-avatar

If you take away the fact that this is different from the original gameplay you'd see from the Alien series, it's a really good game. It tests your patience and attentiveness all while making sure you take strategic steps. My main complaint would be that the alien takes repetitive routes, which in itself makes the gameplay seem repetitive or much harder for your crew to escape when he keeps circling around the same area.

Error downloading content. Just bought the game, and can't even start it. All I get is an empty load bar with "Error downloading content" press the retry button underneath, nothing happens. I'm using a good mobile (Samsung A70 running Android 10), any help?

The idea is great. Sound and video is fine. Unfortunately it's so short it's not woryh anything at all I'd say. I didn't get a sense that the game got harder hand harder and it was suddenly over before I got to try something with a lot of switching and keeping track of several people. One of the levels I reran about 5 times and the alien moved in the same places, at same speed, at same moments all 5 times. Very disappointing.

Well the controls are good I'm liking the story so far but the second part I'm trying to close the maintenance hatch whatever it is but it won't let me close it and I still die in the beginning it shows you how to close it and try and doing that and nothing happened

  20. StusMagicBox-avatar

Puzzle game in Isolation universe! This isn't Alien Isolation but it still has some of the same scares when you hear it clattering down a vent towards you, and you don't know which one to close. When it gets you it's exactly them same! The bulk of the game is remotely guiding the crew to safety whilst trying to track the Alien with CCTV and open an close the right doors. What it is, it does very well! It's brief but fun and gives you a little taste of Alien Isolation when you're out and about.

  21. kronic chick-avatar

This game is fantastic!!! you have to get into the mind of a survivor. Your team mates rely on you to get them to whatever part of the game they need to go because they can not see the Alien when it's in others rooms. YOU CAN! If they can see the Alien it's too late and you will lose your teammates. I find myself sweating up in the corridors. I want my team to survive. If you can not get that about the game then uninstall it&move on to candy crush. This game is not for you.

  22. Bob A-avatar

    Bob A

The graphics and sound affects are good but unfortunately, you spend the majority of your time, controlling character dots on a simple 2D Map. Game only has seven levels! There's no strategy, only a linear storyline and random alien attacks. Crew control is difficult, due to random or delayed command actions. Gameplay is boring and repetitive. Alien Trilogy (1996) is better than this! The deal breaker, is the covert monitoring by the developers, they say its legal but I beg to differ.

  23. Garion Dixon-avatar

    Garion Dixon

Okay so recently it's started taking forever to load up, I waited an hour listening to the violins of death before giving up. The one time it did play, it's registration on taps were slow and often required multiple taps, and now and then it would freeze but the game would continue. The game itself is good, good graphics, can be scary and heart racing at times! But I'm not sure what's causing this, I have preferance optimisation on from what I saw so I'm confused to the issue here.

  24. Alexandre Diaz-avatar

A fun game, with plenty of tension, keeping well in the spirit of the Alien universe, and is a canonical continutation of the Alien: Isolation Plotline. While I would have prefered a full PC/Console based full Alien: Isolation game sequal, this is an excellent placeholder, keeping the flame going, and ties up a bunch of loose ends from the preiously mentioned plotline, which Alien: Isolation had failed to resolve. Alien fans should give it a go.

Very fun game. Similar to Fnaf but I think improves on many of the aspects, as you have to control other people, while keeping an eye out for the alien. Overall very good game. However there are often bugs where character won't move or will get stuck which means you are forced to restart

just brought recently but already love it cause the graphic and the storyline...but the button is quite small and the Alein is easy to be distracted by only using door so it quite boring when there is no challenge when we outsmart the alien. but overall i like this game so hope you continue make game like this which is better like u can make more alien.that all tq

I LOVE THIS GAME! Want Alien Isolation mixed with FNAF, HERE YOU GO! Even if you do not like fnaf or Isolation, it still is heavly based of the Alien Sci-Fi theme! If you like Alien get it! If you don't still get it it is fun!

Once installed, purchase, played. Then I uninstalled. I return back to play thr game so I can livestream it online to promote your game, game unable to install again. I tried everything from restarting to shutting down and kept on re-installing the game couple of times but to no avail. I read previous reviews that shared the similar experience as mine. The help given is what that I have already done. FIX IT! I PAID for IT!

Terrible gameplay. You end up looking at a mini map with dots the entire time... then you die. Really bad gameplay. Music and dialogue are top notch tho. Unfortunately play is horrendous. No tutorial and the color is extra black could hardly see graphics on my new lgv60. Will look out for an update, for now, refund.

The devs needs to fix the game as soon as possible till then please for your safety dont download or buy

Think in FNAF, put Alien in it, and control some people to do the work to you, that's the game, you need audio, so if you don't have an headphone, good luck, but is a good game

  42. Jabami Clan-avatar

    Jabami Clan

Not worth the money! Seriously, the game totally sucks, there's no storyline, no player simulation, just only few NPC's are wondering around. You just monitor the Character Dots in the whole game. The developers are bunch of "Dic*k Heads". Please don't play this game you will regret it.

When played with headphones in the dark it can really simulate alien experience . Decent game .

I saw this game on discount and was interested. With no knowledge of the Alien franchise outside of the original I launched the game expecting to be scared on a 13cm x 6cm screen and oh Christ almighty it delivered. This is what FNAF was supposed to be. This is not reliant on cheap jumpscares and an 11 year old fanbase but atmosphere AND jumpscares. I'd write about the negatives but there's a 500 character limit and they're not game-breaking or anything. So yeah It's a good game.

  48. Jason Bennett-avatar

I do not understand most of the others who rated this game. The story is engaging. I find myself exceedingly frustrated by the limited controls. If I could give a group command, it would make the game much more immersive, but having to tell each character to hide is tedious and unrealistic. The power limitations for a fusion-powered station also make very little sense. Overall apply a neutral rating becuase the designers went for an interesting game, but I personally I see room for improvement.

  49. ShonowTH-avatar

It launches, but as soon as any gameplau sounds start up, thats the end. I even bought a new phone tlrecently and tried again to see if that would've been thr issue. Nope. Same thing. I've seen others play it in videos online (using computers to emulate it), so I know the game is actually worth five stars and looks great, but it's still no good if it isn't playable.

The story is to short and can I make a sugesstion that in the last mission or stage it should be a POV or a first person situation your the one escaping while youll be guide by your crewmates

  52. Daniel Shaw-avatar

    Daniel Shaw

Despite slight skipping, this is a decent game. I'm not sure if the skipping is the game or just my phone, but either way, an interesting concept. Given that actually running away from the alien yourself while on the bus would be difficult, this is nicely made for times like that. Perhaps a new mode or two, some tweaks here and there, and it could be something really quite special. Not that its bad, because is isn't. Take this review with a pinch of salt due to my lack of sleep. Still worth it

  53. -!Itz JJ!--avatar

Its a great game. I love the gameplay and the graphics are good too. But saldy it won't get updated anymore. I would be happy if you add more game modes like 'Survival'. If you add more modes I'll give five starts.

  54. David Maynard-avatar

    David Maynard

It is a fun tense little game. Unfortunately it too little of a game; as it is over by the time it feels like it really gets started. If there was more to do even if it meant repeating maps, would go a long way. Also a mechanic that you could distract the alien from the crew would be nice--even if that meant putting Amanda in danger. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it feels like only a taste of what the game could be.

  55. Sean Oliver-avatar

    Sean Oliver

I loved Alien: Isolation, and this game, although differing in gameplay, has a very similar feel with the tension it creates. Not perfect, controlling everything on a phone screen isn't always easy, but overall very fun and better than I was anticipating. Good Job! Hope they release some bonus or challenge levels at some point for more replay value.

  56. Forrest Bouse-avatar

    Forrest Bouse

It really is a 5 Nights at Freddy's clone. I do not see this having much replay value, seeing how I am already half way through the missions, 40 minutes after it was released. Graphics on thr Alien, especially up close are very detailed. I love the Alien franchise, but would much rather have a different/new experience than what Blackout plays out as.

  57. tangible noah-avatar

    tangible noah

Overall a good game, but i see that youve added a new gamemode, survival should be a section of 2 modes, the survival we know with no saves and then a mode that is more intense as a actual survive as long as you can scenario.

  58. Ben Romer-avatar

    Ben Romer

If you liked the Alien game for the C64 back in the day, you'll love this one. It is challenging, fun, does not rely on jump scares or gore for horror effect, and has a great plot as well. Graphics are top notch and I recommend turning off power save mode if you can. Would be 5 stars, but later levels have a bug where Ripley's flashlight will turn off forever after you restart the level, making it nearly impossible to see which tunnel the alien is about to attack you from. Restart game to fix.

  59. alexandru evdochimov-avatar

Despite a considerable number of people complaining that this game is a ripoff of FNAF, I personally enjoy the game. There are no microtransactions, just the full game with an immersive atmosphere, fleshed out characters and an enemy that actually made me sit on the edge of my seat constantly. You actually have reasons to keep an eye out or look for your enemy and try your best to keep people alive instead of just blazing through the game blindly. I reccomend this game to all fans of Alien.

Yep, the visuals do "do justice" to the visuals of Alien Isolation! And for what its worth, if this is how you do it on the small screen, I can well imagine what you'd do on the larger screen if you were making a full on Alien Isolation sequel!! Atmosphere is spot on, and Ive already lost a crew member!! and I felt bad!! I'm gonna re-do this game untill I figure a way to save them all! This is a decent game, even a great game if you take thr platform its playing on into account. Recommended play

Update 13 May 19: Still amazing, and some newer updates adding new game modes are awesome. This is not an action game! 5*! Non-five nights at Freddy's player. this is amazing. I didn't find it short at all, but for the price this is more than worth it. Replay comes in retrying to have all your crew survive at the end. This is probably one of the best mobile games ever made so far. and it's d3go - makers of marvel puzzle quest, so there's a great chance of full support and more updates coming.

Not really a fan of Fnaf type games. and the price was rather high. I'm glad I decided to try it. Unlike Fnaf you have people you can command around which adds a whole strategic element to it. The atmosphare is really good, helped by the excellent voice acting, the soundtrack and the overall estetic of the game. The game play, even though admittedly based on fnaf is odly engaging and emersion especially for a mobile game. no microtransations! needs a Steem port.

Man, I was so skeptical about this game, mainly, because it is a sequel to Alien Isolation for PC and Consoles, which happens to be my favorite second game this generation. However, Blackout is indeed an eerie, difficult game, that fits amazingly well in Amanda Ripley's story. Had no hope for this game honestly, mainly because its a mobile game, but, I was wrong, if you ar an Alien fan, or played Alien Isolation and loved it, then get this game. You will not regret it. Especially if its on sale.

  64. NINJAMONSTER101 !-avatar

I very much enjoy the game. The graphics are phenominal, the intensity, the story/plot, how you have to think and react, the gameplay, and how it adapts and have blind points to make it even more challenging. But, I found it to be short of gameplay. Adding more levels and more capabilities would increase the game overall for me. Overall though, excellent game and can not wait to see what else comes for this game. Oh, and possibly add a multiplayer function where the other controls the alien

It's a solid short thriller as Amanda Ripley and crew traversing an infested space station. Having an atmospherical environment in a mobile game puts it above most of the crop. Worth the discounted price. Remember social distancing and stay safe.

Pretty fun game. While people are right that it is similar to fnaf, it does have unique differences. There needs to be a custom challenge mode, or maybe a level designer. My main criticisms are: 1. The hurry up is too slow and needs to be tuned 2. There's no way to distract the xenomorph which makes the levels more difficult then they need to be, but not in a challenging way, just in a annoying wait until the alien goes away kind of difficult. 3. Lower the price, at least until the game is fixed

This is a fun experience that captures the feel of the Alien films, and does so from an angle other games haven't done before. Guiding your crewmembers through the station while trying to keep an eye on the alien is very reminiscent of the vent scene from the first movie. It's tense and exciting, and you feel brilliant when you manage to outsmart the monster and keep your crew safe. It's an enjoyable implementation of the "camera watching" style of horror games, with more control and tactics.

I really enjoyed playing this game, you have to multitask to survive. It requires patience and skill. The sound design is on point and you really feel immersed in the Alien Universe playing first person as Amanda Ripley. It is fantastic they brought back the voice actor from Alien: Isolation. You can tell a lot of love and care went into making this game. Well worth it for the price. It really lends itself to replay-ability. You can hone your skills, experience different endings 10/10!

I really enjoy how similar and different this game is from Alien Isolation. I dont feel like its too short, because each level is quite challenging. I have played for quite a while and am still only at level 4. I also like how unpredictable the Alien is. Each playthrough of the same level is different. I really hope to see more of Amanda Ripley in the future! She's such a great character. Well done on a great game! I can clearly see that it is designed for mobile, and it works great on mobile.

I found the game very enjoyable. I like the controls, and the voice acting is superb. I loved the thrill and the rush while playing it, and I am going to definitelly be playing more in the future. (I hate to come back with bad news but the game has completely stopped working for me. I click new game, and it'll do the intro sequence where you see the space station, but then while it loadsthe game up, it stops and my home screen appears. Please fix so I can continue to enjoy this awesome game)EDIT

This was one of the most fun mobile games I've ever played! The controls are very intuitive, the gameplay is fundamentally different from what the game has been compared to, being Five Nights at Freddy's, as if they are the perfect version of what Scott C. was going for when he created the game series(FNaF), & this game made that style its own! I'm very impressed with the graphical power & design shown by the game as well. Overall it is a game i would recommend to any gamer and/or Sci-Fi lover!

a good game but the controls are poorly designed for mobile play, most of my fails are simply down to the game controls... would have been great on PC. Ripley has a hard time moving her head fast enough to cover all the entrances in later levels, would be better to get dedicated buttons to swap between vents. it can also be hard to tell which dot is which character so having a colour coded system would have made way more sense so you can easily manage your team in rushed situations.

was told that this game was a "knock off" of Five nights at Freddy's...but CLEARLY its not,i personally enjoyed the game and i recommend others to play it as well. although i do feel as there should be maybe like a chapter 2 or part 2 of some kind. maybe add some Android's into the mix for them to fight or items, weapons, other people or something.btw i think the death "screams" or sounds could use a little work. Either way Thank you for making this game!

This game is truly amazing, after only playing for about an hour, i was stunned on how great this game really is. The graphics and gameplay are amazing, although a few things could be fixed, like sometimes the vent wouldnt close when the alien was coming, but other than that, the game has truly blown my expectations out of the water. Great job on a great game

so i love this game right from the start, in my opinion it could be better theb fnaf. But it took me less than a week to finish and i was expecting alot more at least 50 levels. When the game ended thought is this for real? Don't get me wrong the game was fun, challenging, and kept me wanting more and more but seriously their were only like 5 or 6 levels. I understand that it just came out but at least have 10 or 15 levels. This has alot of potential, just add more levels, facehuggers, 2 aliens

There's not much I can say other than it was briliant! This style of gameplay goes hand-in-hand with the feel and atmosphere of Alien, and it felt every bit as tense as Isolation. Thoroughly enjoyed it, if a little short, but the short story format is something that more mobile games should aspire to. Would love to see where they can take this next!

Survive is much better although in the last level, The alien kept running around until one of the characters was nearby. EDIT: So I tried killing every single character because I'm trying to achieve a goal in Google Play Games. In the end of the game, when I'm down to my last character, he just stood there and the alien just left and didn't kill him. Bugs? Sadly, it's slow on the device I'm playing it on but love the gameplay.

just finished this finnish game. I have completed isolation + dlc. this game is very good. I spend several hours in a row. everything is on par with isolation when it comes to atmosphere, sound, feeling of dread and tension. the game does however have bad controls and is too short. otherwise a 5/5. To those who say it is up to luck. it is because you are not intelligent enough. there are several ways to trick the Alien, to lure it out and to track where it is going outside view

This is a very intense game that captures the essence of the original Alien movie. Where a small crew has to survive a single xenomorph alien without the use of any military weaponry. As a huge fan of the original movie, this game (and Alien Isolation) really hit home with me. Now, originally I had some issues dealing with hitting the tiny on-screen "buttons". But that issue was resolved by me simply wearing some THICC glasses. So I've beaten the game & all is copacetic. Kudos to the developer!

This is a fun five nights at freddy's clone with an extra element or two thrown in. It can be challenging (and frustrating at times) but not overly so. It's worth the $5 and the time to play it. The game is done really well for what it is and there is a sense of panic and dread when the situations call for it. It feels like there should be more though, like an add on package where you rescue survivors or another scenario with the original cast from alien like when Dallas is hunting in the vents.

Played Alien Isolation and awaited it's sequel eagerly. This... wasn't what I expected or wanted. However, it does carry a small fragment of Isolation's soul. It is basically a FNAF clone but the atmosphere buildup is perfect and the Alien remains a terror that cannot be expressed through jumpscares, which this game thankfully does not use; however this fear for RTS. I only give it the rating I did because of those facts. Tbh I don't like this game... but I don't hate it either.

Alien: Blackout is a magnificent display and achievement of what's truly capable on mobile. The game takes a fresh approach to mobile game design by utilizing a minimalist control scheme and a strong adherence to open-ended gameplay. The game's goal seems clear-- it's all about 'player choice'. Giving the player numerous choices. This affords the player an array of unique strategies to give a go. Should I take it slow n steady? Or run like hell throw caution to the wind? Maybe Hide like a pansy

This game has a reputaiton of being a clone of FNaF series. But, it's actually pretty good for that. Graphics looks nice, overall gameplay is interesting. But, the price. 5.49€ for a mobile game this size is too much. I beat the game in 2 hours with multiple restarts of the levels. So it only has one thing for replay value, keeping every member of the crew alive. No optional objectives, no harder difficulties (although it's hard), no extra levels. But that might be improved/added in the future.

Impressed by this. Honestly, it's probably the best mobile game I've ever played. While mobile certainly isn't my ideal medium of choice for the Alien series, this one is polished and a lot of care was clearly put into it. The environments, character models, and the Alien itself are incredibly detailed. The atmosphere of the game is tense, scary, and keeps you on your toes. It's fun and I was definitely engaged with it.

I want aliens to stay alive. I hope we will see more soon. :3

The game is definitely fun and challenging but I have to agree it was really short. Having to navigate your crew through this space station really challenging and scary but I'm having issues. One is that the prompts for trying to block the alien in your room are way too fast. Although it does remind me of FNAF it feels like its own game with the crew gameplay. Overall though I've had no crashes. The game looks great and the alien looks surprisingly good. A short good game with some problems.

Fidgety controls make this game not hard but frustrating to play. I think most of the issues have been addressed by the other reviews here, including the AI of both the Alien and the crew. In the end, it's more of a luck game where you hope that the Alien won't suddenly pop out of a vent right on top of the crew or that it doesn't come charging into a room at mach 10 while the crew just runs around panicking. This would have been playable on PC, but not on mobile.

In a world full of micro-transactional hell, it is refreshing to see a game that asks for money upfront for the full experience. While it seemingly has used the FNAF formula, it has done so well and tied it into the LORE in a way that makes sense. The only problems i see are the animations are sonetimes a little clunky with characters moving out of sync with their animations. Other than that there could be a little more content for the price.

I am extremely pleased to see Alien, a big title, getting a *good* game on phone. The game is fun to play, but also not too scary. It's not really the game's fault (except in a few things, like the barely noticeable "tense" music), but more of the restrictions of phones. It captures the authentic atmosphere of the alien universe really well, and in an interesting new way. It would be nice to see more content being added in the future!

I love the Alien franchise and think the game is amazing. However watching friends, and gameplay videos on YouTube, I noticed you can confuse the AI. We noticed that you can tell when its tracking a certain person and when the alien tries to pass through a door that can close you can confuse it. if you keep opening and closing the door it will pretty much stay in that area.

Despite being a little salty about potentially not getting a sequel to Isolation, I was still eagerly anticipating this game. As its at least some form of extension to the Amanda Ripley story. However, I can't help but feel disappointed. The gameplay was good and resembled a better version of the popular FNaF. But the overall length of the game was a massive let down. I completed the whole game in around 20 minutes which does not justify the cost of the game. It seems more like a short demo.

For what this game is it's a fun mobile game using the alien franchise. I have however have seen some minor glitches with the character animations. Personally I am not the biggest fan of this type of game style popularized by the FNAF games but it works here. I also commend this for not relying on in app purchases but as an app for 5$ there should be more content even though $5 is not a huge amount of money but the game is somewhat short. At the end of the day this has a recomendation from me.

I think the game was overall pretty good. The frame rate was a little low (but that may be a personal problem for me) I like the concept of if. and the voice acting was really spot on. I honestly don't care that the sequel to Alien Isolation is a mobil game. Alien Blackout was really thought out. The graphics are console quality, and the voice acting is great. The controls are also well organized and are easy to get used to. Alien Blackout is very impressive honestly. I love how the Xenomorph is completely unpredictable at times. One moment you have exact location of it, then next it completely disappears as you start to hear panicking or it coming at you. I love this game.

I can see where there are gripes about the game's length as it is VERY immersive and addicting. However, I prefer to NOT have a longer game killing my battery and the graphical quality alone makes the game more than worth the price! In short, I simply love this!! Considering how well the atmosphere and tone was executed, do we have a chance to see future installments? Say maybe... a Predator franchise or Alien VS Predator related game? No objections to more Alien titles either.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. When I first heard about this game being mobile only I was concerned. However the atmosphere and music is exceptional and it is a unique perspective on dealing with the xenomorph, having to guide a group of survivors through a level. It's a shame this wasn't released on PC as I would have liked to have played this on a bigger screen. I hope we'll yet see Isolation 2 or something similar but this is certainly better than I expected.

this game has a great atmosphere that in my humble opinion captures what the original 1979 classic had. playing in the dark with my head phones and hearing the alien move around and not knowing his next move was a tense experience. if you are on the edge of buying this game don't let the few bad reviews deter you away, this game is great for what it is.

Decent game. I'm a big fan of aliens franchise but not mobile games. I think it's important for devs to understand their base and what they prefer to play on. Though I've run into a bug at the find the scrubbers mission. The characters talk about going to cameras to find them and it never triggers. If I restart some times it will trigger. Basically it shows no objectives for them to walk to and your are stuck. If it helps thornwick is dead in my game. The game is unplayable for me now.

Superb game! I low how the game creates nerve wrecking tension with literally only a red blip on the map, just like Alien(s/: Isolation) does. Very clever game design with only a few elements. Although you stare at a small map for the most time, the in-game graphics are amazing (comparable to console quality) and create a beautiful eerie atmosphere. My only complains are the length (it took me only a few days to complete) and the difficulty (some levels I didn't even encounter the alien).

A hopeful but flawed experience. I like how it has aspects of fnaf, but twisting it up with the survival of other crew members and objectives. Surprisingly this kind of works for an Alien game. CONS: Every level NEEDS a checkpoint AFTER the intro sequence. Some intros last up to 30 seconds. No need to re listen to useless dialogue. Reaction time you have to close the door on the alien before you die is way too short. Times the Alien is obviously behind the door, but the game wont let you close

If you are an Alien fanatic, like myself, this game is a must have. It scares me almost as much as it's predecessor, Alien: Isolation. Great gameplay that cleverly takes a key idea from the 1st movie, and turns it into a suspensful, action-packed strategy game. The xeno Ai is still smart even on this smaller, less powerful platform. The graphics are outstanding! The same models from Isolation are used, and combining that with the GUI makes this game feel like I'm playing the movie. Great job,D3!

I'm a big fan of Alien Isolation and this is not that, so set your expectations. It looks similar to Isolation though in that the station itself looks pretty much like Sevastopol, it has a similar claustrophobic feeling which help provide some moments of tension. It's an Alien game fit for mobile and has no microtransactions, so credit to the devs there. I think if the devs ever did another they should consider something like a Republique style of stealth, which I think is perfect for an Isolation style mobile game. As it stands, this is a good enough game and that may be enough until the next AAA Alien game is announced.

I have to say this was a mobile game that far surpassed what I expected out of it. It's a challenging and intense game and the scares are genuinely terrifying. Went into it very sceptical, but actually a surprisingly excellent game, just a bit short of a game for the price. Hopefully there are plans to add levels in the future. And it gets me thinking, are they doing what Bethesda did with Fallout 4 and 76? Using a game to test mechanics before ultimately putting them into the next game? Would like to think the next Alien game has a mix of this games features along with Alien Isolations features. Hopefully it doesn't turn into another Fallout 76 though.

Great game! only thing that keeps it from being 5 starts is occasionally when the Alien comes through the vents i tap the vent before the Alien is there and it wont close. this leads to some frustrating deaths. also while you're looking around in the vent, it seems a little slow making more unfair deaths. One final thing is they're blind spots where your crew can be sent too and killed. Just a suggestion but maybe add a difficulty setting? Keep up the good work!

Seeing people in the comments who can't figure out the UI of this game makes me sad for the human race. It's very obvious from the first level how to play it if you actually pay attention to the game. This game is awesome and suspenseful, it's like FNAF but you're guiding people through a station and keeping track of the alien using cameras, you have to protect them and yourself from it (use headphones!) Fully animated and there's logic to the alien's movements. Well worth the $1 for it.

Bought this thru Amazon but reviewing here. Interesting concept but the game doesn't give you much to work with. Most of the playing area is a blind spot which means you literally just send crew out and hope they don't get killed. Good concept but it needs more strategy. Right now the alien wins less from being an apex predator and more from you just not being able to see properly.

Great game so far. I've only put a few hours into it so far and have yet to beat it, so I suppose I can't give it a full and complete review yet. However, it can be quite challenging to keep the characters alive before blackout occurs. Or perhaps I'm just not that great at it. But the suspense is very exhilarating. Visually the game is very strong, apparently using assets from Alien: Isolation and looking damn pretty for a smartphone. Amanda's old voice actress returned for the role, which is nice. To anybody complaining that this is "just a 5 Nights at Freddy's remake": it's really not. the cameras make for interestig gameplay, AND there is the added difficulty of having to direct the crew and keep an eye on the alien. Allowing it to occasionally come for Ripley is just another layer of scary and a reason to stay all the more alert, which is a GOOD THING as this is a thriller/horror game. Hiding places are meager; that's the whole point. I think it's great! Would love more levels later :)

Very short, bought it for a couple of £ on offer, I'd say it was worth it, but still short for the price. They have an extra mode to play through the whole thing in one go but harder. Tbh i like the standard game to be full in itself. Very good graphics, not much shy of Alien: Isolation on ps3 at least, but maybe mine is beginning to struggle.. Keeps with the Atmosphere of Isolation and doesn't remove the player too far from jeopardy. It's primarily a horror strategy game though.

Controls on phone are a little hard to tap precisely, but theyre placed perfectly neverthe less. Found a glitch when i had Saito only on mission 6. when alien comes out of a vent ontop of her, they both freeze and can't move. I figured out how to know where the alien would come from in the vents to attack you by looking at which vents they go in and where they would lead out most likely if they attack you head on. Also, is there going to be any extra content soon? i would love to keep up! <3

It doesnt appear to have any microtransactions which is a big plus, it also only barely does a tutorial, letting you learn the mechanics through trial and error, which is also another plus. oh my god it gives you the same feeling of being on edge as alien isolation but with the nerve racking stress as five nights at Freddys and its so good. Thank you so much for making this a thing i really liked fnaf and alien isolation and now you have combined them to make a super horror game that relies you to both save your own life and others while making sure you and the crew are safe from the alien. Thank you for making this game and thank you for making it so cheap for its kind great work

so far so good!! A very tense sometimes scary game with great voice acting, nicely designed ship and great soundtrack. It's very challenging to protect the crew and just like isolation I find myself again having to try outsmart an alien. I don't normally buy mobile games but if my money helps to add new content then I'm happy to give over a few quid :-)

I like it, and this is from someone who played Isolation quite a lot. Kudos to the developers for recreating that atmosphere. It would be nice to have some way of distracting the alien though, like the speaker system or ventilation controls from the rewire in Isolation.

Myself & millions of others were very disappointed when this "game" was announced online due to it being a mobile "game" rather than a FULL on alien game. This is basically Five Nights at Freddy's copy/paste game replaced with the Alien isolation universe. Alien Isolation was absolutely AMAZING due to how the developers captured the spirit of the first Alien film. This "game" however feels it was only made in order to celebrate the 40 year alien anniversary. Zero replay value & SUPER short.

Definitely the best mobile game I've had the pleasure of downloading onto my phone! If anyone reading this is hesitating to buy, just do it. The game is thrilling and filled with suspense! Not having the heart to actually play Isolation, I am so glad I can finally play an Aliens game without having to pull out my brown pants. Thank you to the devs for making such an exciting game on a platform I never expected such excellence from.

Alien Blackout is so far my best horror experience ever! The controls are better that most horror games but it's very hard to navigate your crew manually if they clump up. The story from my perspective was very short but justified for the price of $6. The lighting and design of the game was executed well.Especially the shadows of the alien and the crew itself. Alien Blackout give you the meaning of checking the camera all the time than most other horror games. It's a must buy for those Alien fans

This was an awesome game i played through the whole story mode on my youtube channel and everything was fantastical from the voice actors to the graphics its just extravagant! And as of Five Nights at Freddy's player and lover it's pretty similar but it's incredible in its own way. And I did have a bug where everything was red but eventually the game fixed itself after like a few seconds. But other than that it's pretty spectacular!

1st let me thank the developers for considering the mobile community. With that said, This feels like an extremely crippled version of alien isolation which is a great game. This would have been much better if you had full autonomy over Ripley And you had to evade the alien, Not Baby sit people. Mobile devices have come a long way , Yet, they are still being Relegated to simple touch interfaces. Also no controller support is a turn off for people with hand isssues. not feelin it

Like many of you, I'm bitter that this is the followup to Isolation, rather than a proper sequel. However, that's FOX's fault. For what this game is, it's pretty good, adds an interesting new dynamic to the "FNaF" genre, and the dev team did the best they could do. If you're a fan of the franchise and have $5 to drop, it's not a bad way to waste some time.

Absolutely amazing, it does have some flaws but I personally think you all done a great job making this

good game but too short for the money. first playthrough was tense, with great voice acting, ok story and real terror, also looks great, but minimal progression (levels very similar). second playthrough was easy and too quick. no real ending other than beating last level same as others and a cutscene. I would give 5 starts if price matched value, but after beating it quickly I dont have interest in playing anymore. recommend more variations, more complex tasks, and progression.

FNAF type game. you command a crew to run, sneak, or hide. Drawing paths through a map to find things which are vital to the survival of yourself and crew. Closing doors, checking cameras and motion trackers. Only thing that would make this more intense is if there were more than one alien also having 1/2 deployable, limited sentry guns. Choose a spot at the beginning of each level and hope you picked right! GREAT deal for .99 cents. Looking forward to seeing this games updates!

Its good except for the fact that the blackout mechanic is totally and ridiculously stupid. Considering you can't distract the alien it makes you waste minutes trying to keep the people alive. And hurry up really means speed walk. if you have a minute left and the people are a room away from ths end of the level you're basically screwed anyways because their fast mode is way too slow. All of their movement cycles are way to slow and they don't give you near enough time until blackout.

Really enjoyable game. It's like an Alien themed Five Nights at Freddy's but with the added challenge of trying to guide a crew through the space station to their objectives. It's worth every penny but my only criticism is that it's a bit short, only 5 or 6 levels total.

This is by FAR the best survival horror game I've played! The graphics are stunning, and as an Alien franchise lover, the sounds make me feel like I'm actually there experiencing it! And there are different outcomes! I can't stop playing! Thank you so much for such an awesome experience!

Excellent game! Similar to Alien: Isolation, except you're hiding in the ducts and leading a group around the ship using a maintenance interface. Great UI. Pro tip: If you close all the doors to protect the group, the alien will have to take the ducts to get around. And that's where you are.
