I would have loved to give it more stars. However, after playing Alien: Isolation I kind of expected more from a sequel, even one on mobile. It is similar in regards to FNAF with the playstyle, only with Xenomorphs instead of killer animatronics. I do still hope for maybe a more in depth sequel to Isolation only on console and pc like it was before. The best part of Isolation was that we were Amanda Ripley and it made it seem like it was happening to us, I don't feel that connection like this.

apk Seeing people in the comments who can't figure out the UI of this game makes me sad for the human race. It's very obvious from the first level how to play it if you actually pay attention to the game. This game is awesome and suspenseful, it's like FNAF but you're guiding people through a station and keeping track of the alien using cameras, you have to protect them and yourself from it (use headphones!) Fully animated and there's logic to the alien's movements. Well worth the $1 for it.

pc Extremely simple game, although I'd say more complex than FNAF. I'm not really seeing any replay value but it's worth the $0.99 USD i paid for it. Finished it after a week and it only took that long because my phone sucks at picking up my finger. If you're a big AVP fan, it's worth adding to your collection, but I'd be more interested in a more engaging sequel/version.

  4. guest-avatar

torwarthandschuhe I was pleasantly surprised by this. When I first heard about this game being mobile only I was concerned. However the atmosphere and music is exceptional and it is a unique perspective on dealing with the xenomorph, having to guide a group of survivors through a level. It's a shame this wasn't released on PC as I would have liked to have played this on a bigger screen. I hope we'll yet see Isolation 2 or something similar but this is certainly better than I expected.

ps4 Pretty bad "game". You're kind of at the mercy of some very poor AI, it's basically a clone of five nights at freddy's. Graphics are good, but a bit pointless since you spend most of your time looking at a map with a few dots on it. Not quite the sequel to alien isolation I'd hoped for.

  6. guest-avatar

t1tan If you like Alien Isolation you like this.. Its like Alien Isolation 2 for Mobile, the space station looks like Sevastopol and Amanda sounds the same .. :) I love Alien Isolation.. :) If you want to know what happened to Amanda on the Torres after she jumped out the airlock with the Alien at the end of Alien Isolation then play this game. This game works with BlueStacks 4 so you can play it on your PC on a big screen.. :) It's well worth playing it that way not on a Phone.

  7. guest-avatar

mod apk Good concept, shockingly poor execution. No gameplay tutorial on start, no idea what you're doing, how-to-play page does not tell you how to play, and no way to pause or quit in-game. People don't have time to figure out cryptic, poorly designed games. There's a reason this is so cheap and I still want my money back. The best part of this game is uninstalling it.

  8. guest-avatar

tipps only works if you allow all permissions, wants access to storage, all files, all contacts, microphone, camera, calendar, location, everything... and if you refuse, the game just doesnt work. edit: what a joke! they claim this is necessary for gdpr, unbelievable...

wiki Both the alien and survivor have awful AI. It's not "unpredictable", it's just frustrating. Gorgeous graphics. Love how the alien is animated, looks quite similar to Alien: Isolation, so props to that. But plays nothing like that game.

  10. guest-avatar

wikipedia Good concept, good graphics, but the A.I. ruins the game. For instance, told someone to hide. They stood still for about 10 seconds (until the Alien rounded the corner), then they tried to run, which of course resulted in their death. Had they hidden when I gave the command, it wouldn't have happened. Fail.

  11. guest-avatar

All NPC just froze in the middle of the level and you can't do anything except to wait for time to ran out or to restart the game. The controls are to small on the screen. It should be more difficulty levels than just one.

  12. guest-avatar

It's very well conceived and made. Perfect for mobile and totally gripping. This game sucks you in and keeps you trapped with nominal resource and limited every thing which means a player must constantly be on their guard. I'm glad I bought this game.

  13. guest-avatar

Tense and fun "puzzle / management" game. While I enjoy the game a lot it won't be for everyone. Watch a gameplay video of it first before you buy it. Plays very differently than any other Alien (movie) based game at the time of writing this.

  14. guest-avatar

Greatest game ever. So good, it wont even let you past the menu before closing out. I just love spending real money on games to not even be able to play them. You should purchase too; it's like, "take my money!!!" Cannot wait for park two!!

Android should have more games like this. Simple gameplay, good quality graphics, good voice act, good narrative, and suspenseful as horror games should. Very clever and good job for the developer. Really worth the price for such premium game.

This is a very intense game that captures the essence of the original Alien movie. Where a small crew has to survive a single xenomorph alien without the use of any military weaponry. As a huge fan of the original movie, this game (and Alien Isolation) really hit home with me. Now, originally I had some issues dealing with hitting the tiny on-screen "buttons". But that issue was resolved by me simply wearing some THICC glasses. So I've beaten the game & all is copacetic. Kudos to the developer!

  17. guest-avatar

This is a fun experience that captures the feel of the Alien films, and does so from an angle other games haven't done before. Guiding your crewmembers through the station while trying to keep an eye on the alien is very reminiscent of the vent scene from the first movie. It's tense and exciting, and you feel brilliant when you manage to outsmart the monster and keep your crew safe. It's an enjoyable implementation of the "camera watching" style of horror games, with more control and tactics.

  18. guest-avatar

Well done. Awesome graphics i cant describe how much this game scares me. You guys got to work and it turned out good as hell. I will always love this awesome game. Good job - a huge fan

Really great game! I love it just as much as I like Alien Isolation. It'd be much better if it had more levels though.

  20. guest-avatar

Alien: Blackout is a magnificent display and achievement of what's truly capable on mobile. The game takes a fresh approach to mobile game design by utilizing a minimalist control scheme and a strong adherence to open-ended gameplay. The game's goal seems clear-- it's all about 'player choice'. Giving the player numerous choices. This affords the player an array of unique strategies to give a go. Should I take it slow n steady? Or run like hell throw caution to the wind? Maybe Hide like a pansy

  21. guest-avatar

For what this game is it's a fun mobile game using the alien franchise. I have however have seen some minor glitches with the character animations. Personally I am not the biggest fan of this type of game style popularized by the FNAF games but it works here. I also commend this for not relying on in app purchases but as an app for 5$ there should be more content even though $5 is not a huge amount of money but the game is somewhat short. At the end of the day this has a recomendation from me.

  22. guest-avatar

Cant even Play the game.. Everytime after when i start up the game and after amandas little cutscene about the alien danger It goes to the Loading screen After that the game just crashes Please fix this problem I payed for this game to work not to just crash out of nowhere And fyi I tried clearing the data 16 times force stopping it re installing free up space But nothing happens.

  23. guest-avatar

I just hoped that maybe if our crew is dead,we could roam the area to find it ourselves but the graphics are great and amazing models!.. but.. the AI are horrible i beg you to make this real..

  24. guest-avatar

    Neon firefly001

so far so good!! A very tense sometimes scary game with great voice acting, nicely designed ship and great soundtrack. It's very challenging to protect the crew and just like isolation I find myself again having to try outsmart an alien. I don't normally buy mobile games but if my money helps to add new content then I'm happy to give over a few quid :-)

  25. guest-avatar

I love this game so much. The atmosphere and sounds around you become very important if you want to complete a level. I give this game 5 stars, and more if I could.

  26. guest-avatar

Great game but their are only few levels. Which is disappointing as we have paid 30 rupees not for 6 to 7 levels.

  27. guest-avatar

Really enjoyable game. It's like an Alien themed Five Nights at Freddy's but with the added challenge of trying to guide a crew through the space station to their objectives. It's worth every penny but my only criticism is that it's a bit short, only 5 or 6 levels total.

  28. guest-avatar

FNAF type game. you command a crew to run, sneak, or hide. Drawing paths through a map to find things which are vital to the survival of yourself and crew. Closing doors, checking cameras and motion trackers. Only thing that would make this more intense is if there were more than one alien also having 1/2 deployable, limited sentry guns. Choose a spot at the beginning of each level and hope you picked right! GREAT deal for .99 cents. Looking forward to seeing this games updates!

  29. guest-avatar

Very scary so if you really want to wake up at any time play this, also the game is great and It is ereeriely similar five nights at freddy's.

  30. guest-avatar

Great game but too short! As a sequel to an amazing Alien game (Alien Isolation) it's not satisfying, but the game style was a good choice for a mobile based sequel. Play it for what it is and you can enjoy it, I even get scared by it sometimes. Updates or additional content would be great.

  31. guest-avatar

As a huge fan of Alien Isolation, I'm so glad this game stayed true to the roots of the original Alien. Excellent game play, performance, concept, voice acting, the list goes on. Very impressed for a mobile game and I hope this developer continues making games as good as this in the Aliens universe!

  32. guest-avatar

This is very well made for a mobile game, and the gameplay is very unique. Its graphics are pretty good, and the gameplay is easy to get use to. If you are a fan of the alien franchise, you will probably like this game. If you like the alien isolation game though, probably not. I recommend it.

  33. guest-avatar

When loading I keep getting a black screen saying 'cannot download data, retry' or similar. It then does nothing if I press retry! I am on Galaxy S9 with Android 10

  34. guest-avatar

Game won't load up for me. Maybe my tablet is not compatible with the game. I am a fan of the alien games maybe I can play the game in the future with a new tablet etc

The story was amazing! The gameplay was so fun and thrilling! It's a game that is easy to learn and it does have it's challenges but they are really well done! My favourite mobile game right now! I hope to see another game like this! 5 STARS FROM ME

  37. guest-avatar

    The Chillax Zone

I like the game but its needs more maps and needs a multiplayer like one has to be the security guy and the others have to be a survivor has to escape and do task to help them escape and i don't recomend adding a controllable alien it might be more harder for you guys to program that

  38. guest-avatar

Just bought the game and honestly I enjoyed it, please make another one similar to alien isolation it self like the xeno left a eggplant on the ship and Amanda didn't know so the facehugger came out and went on a victim and the alien came out and now Amanda has another scary thriller adventure to do please make the game for 6.99 or 14.99 because I would diffently buy.

  39. guest-avatar

This was one of the most fun mobile games I've ever played! The controls are very intuitive, the gameplay is fundamentally different from what the game has been compared to, being Five Nights at Freddy's, as if they are the perfect version of what Scott C. was going for when he created the game series(FNaF), & this game made that style its own! I'm very impressed with the graphical power & design shown by the game as well. Overall it is a game i would recommend to any gamer and/or Sci-Fi lover!

  40. guest-avatar

This is a fun five nights at freddy's clone with an extra element or two thrown in. It can be challenging (and frustrating at times) but not overly so. It's worth the $5 and the time to play it. The game is done really well for what it is and there is a sense of panic and dread when the situations call for it. It feels like there should be more though, like an add on package where you rescue survivors or another scenario with the original cast from alien like when Dallas is hunting in the vents.

  41. guest-avatar

Truly hard challenging You will never feel bored playing this arre dont run for challenge and play Blue Whale or Momo or chow chow JK its very good if you want to experience something hard challenging surviving sweat bringing scary ok in short the game is short

  42. guest-avatar

I bought this game and when I installed it keeps telling me to re install it I did it twice and it keeps telling me to re install it and it won't let me get my money back.

  43. guest-avatar

This game is truly amazing, after only playing for about an hour, i was stunned on how great this game really is. The graphics and gameplay are amazing, although a few things could be fixed, like sometimes the vent wouldnt close when the alien was coming, but other than that, the game has truly blown my expectations out of the water. Great job on a great game

  44. guest-avatar

Massive alien fan here! Glad I just got a refund. This game while a seemingly good idea with awesome graphics and terrifying scares ended up a glitchy massive unfair mess designed to not be completed. Characters guaranteed to die. Player guaranteed to fail. A mess and definitely not worthy of an Isolation sequel.

  45. guest-avatar

It's a 2019 phone game tie in to a 2014 video game tie in to a movie from 1979. It follows the pattern of video game tie in to movies as made back in the 1980s. In that it's only loosy based on the characters and uses completely random gameplay that looks like it could have been stolen from another game and just reskinned and/or uses cobbled together mechanics from the devs other abandoned projects.

  46. guest-avatar

It is a fun tense little game. Unfortunately it too little of a game; as it is over by the time it feels like it really gets started. If there was more to do even if it meant repeating maps, would go a long way. Also a mechanic that you could distract the alien from the crew would be nice--even if that meant putting Amanda in danger. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it feels like only a taste of what the game could be.

  47. guest-avatar

I love the Alien franchise and think the game is amazing. However watching friends, and gameplay videos on YouTube, I noticed you can confuse the AI. We noticed that you can tell when its tracking a certain person and when the alien tries to pass through a door that can close you can confuse it. if you keep opening and closing the door it will pretty much stay in that area.

  48. guest-avatar

I have always loved alien series and i really loved alien isolation so this game reminds me i like how it gives a sense of anenxity because its nerving the surviors ur guiding are in your hands.

  49. guest-avatar

    Non Renormalizable

Visually the game is very strong, apparently using assets from Alien: Isolation and looking damn pretty for a smartphone. Amanda's old voice actress returned for the role, which is nice. The gameplay is self-contained but fun, the control scheme a bit frustrating. The backstory is nothing original, hopefully a bridge between Isolation and a full-fledged sequel...

I'm a massive fan of alien isolation, played it so many times. I was a bit worried about this game because as a fan of isolation you don't want to play it on a mobile or tablet device, buuttt I really enjoyed this game. Wow, there has been a lot of effort into making this and the ship is amazing. Yes it does feel like five nights at freddys and a bit intense keeping everyone alive. Great job, please bring another.

Despite a considerable number of people complaining that this game is a ripoff of FNAF, I personally enjoy the game. There are no microtransactions, just the full game with an immersive atmosphere, fleshed out characters and an enemy that actually made me sit on the edge of my seat constantly. You actually have reasons to keep an eye out or look for your enemy and try your best to keep people alive instead of just blazing through the game blindly. I reccomend this game to all fans of Alien.

  52. guest-avatar

This game sucks . Start overer at the start every time. Watching dots run through a map. I paid for this .... Sucks

  53. guest-avatar

Survive is much better although in the last level, The alien kept running around until one of the characters was nearby. EDIT: So I tried killing every single character because I'm trying to achieve a goal in Google Play Games. In the end of the game, when I'm down to my last character, he just stood there and the alien just left and didn't kill him. Bugs? Sadly, it's slow on the device I'm playing it on but love the gameplay.

  54. guest-avatar

I very much enjoy the game. The graphics are phenominal, the intensity, the story/plot, how you have to think and react, the gameplay, and how it adapts and have blind points to make it even more challenging. But, I found it to be short of gameplay. Adding more levels and more capabilities would increase the game overall for me. Overall though, excellent game and can not wait to see what else comes for this game. Oh, and possibly add a multiplayer function where the other controls the alien

  55. guest-avatar

I really enjoyed playing this game, you have to multitask to survive. It requires patience and skill. The sound design is on point and you really feel immersed in the Alien Universe playing first person as Amanda Ripley. It is fantastic they brought back the voice actor from Alien: Isolation. You can tell a lot of love and care went into making this game. Well worth it for the price. It really lends itself to replay-ability. You can hone your skills, experience different endings 10/10!

I really enjoy how similar and different this game is from Alien Isolation. I dont feel like its too short, because each level is quite challenging. I have played for quite a while and am still only at level 4. I also like how unpredictable the Alien is. Each playthrough of the same level is different. I really hope to see more of Amanda Ripley in the future! She's such a great character. Well done on a great game! I can clearly see that it is designed for mobile, and it works great on mobile.

  57. guest-avatar

Pretty fun game. While people are right that it is similar to fnaf, it does have unique differences. There needs to be a custom challenge mode, or maybe a level designer. My main criticisms are: 1. The hurry up is too slow and needs to be tuned 2. There's no way to distract the xenomorph which makes the levels more difficult then they need to be, but not in a challenging way, just in a annoying wait until the alien goes away kind of difficult. 3. Lower the price, at least until the game is fixed

I found the game very enjoyable. I like the controls, and the voice acting is superb. I loved the thrill and the rush while playing it, and I am going to definitelly be playing more in the future. (I hate to come back with bad news but the game has completely stopped working for me. I click new game, and it'll do the intro sequence where you see the space station, but then while it loadsthe game up, it stops and my home screen appears. Please fix so I can continue to enjoy this awesome game)EDIT

  59. guest-avatar

so i love this game right from the start, in my opinion it could be better theb fnaf. But it took me less than a week to finish and i was expecting alot more at least 50 levels. When the game ended thought is this for real? Don't get me wrong the game was fun, challenging, and kept me wanting more and more but seriously their were only like 5 or 6 levels. I understand that it just came out but at least have 10 or 15 levels. This has alot of potential, just add more levels, facehuggers, 2 aliens

  60. guest-avatar

a good game but the controls are poorly designed for mobile play, most of my fails are simply down to the game controls... would have been great on PC. Ripley has a hard time moving her head fast enough to cover all the entrances in later levels, would be better to get dedicated buttons to swap between vents. it can also be hard to tell which dot is which character so having a colour coded system would have made way more sense so you can easily manage your team in rushed situations.

  61. guest-avatar

Its kind of like five nights at freddys, but alien themed, and with a little strategy as you have to guide the sheeple to objectives without them being caught. It doesnt appear to have any microtransactions which is a big plus, it also only barely does a tutorial, letting you learn the mechanics through trial and error, which is also another plus. The resource management was also well done.the biggest downside is that its alien franchise in name but not scary at all.

  62. guest-avatar

Despite being a little salty about potentially not getting a sequel to Isolation, I was still eagerly anticipating this game. As its at least some form of extension to the Amanda Ripley story. However, I can't help but feel disappointed. The gameplay was good and resembled a better version of the popular FNaF. But the overall length of the game was a massive let down. I completed the whole game in around 20 minutes which does not justify the cost of the game. It seems more like a short demo.

  63. guest-avatar

was told that this game was a "knock off" of Five nights at Freddy's...but CLEARLY its not,i personally enjoyed the game and i recommend others to play it as well. although i do feel as there should be maybe like a chapter 2 or part 2 of some kind. maybe add some Android's into the mix for them to fight or items, weapons, other people or something.btw i think the death "screams" or sounds could use a little work. Either way Thank you for making this game!

  64. guest-avatar

    Евгений Седаков

It's five nights at Freddy's all over again. But with decent voice acting. I kinda hate the genre. Also you lose crew members permanent and levels are long so replaying them would to save everyone would be tedious.

  65. guest-avatar

Picked it up for less than a dollar and it is worth it. It's pretty intense and the story is also fine for a mobile game . But we still want Alien Isolation sequeal on a PC.

  66. guest-avatar

So I'm a big fan of Alien franchise, and I've played just about every game. I sooo can't get enough of it! But... with a game like this for $5.00, I'm praying that you add many many more levels and possibly another mode or somthing. I bought this mobile game only because I'm such a dedicated fan. I want aliens to stay alive. I hope we will see more soon. :3

  67. guest-avatar

Played Alien Isolation and awaited it's sequel eagerly. This... wasn't what I expected or wanted. However, it does carry a small fragment of Isolation's soul. It is basically a FNAF clone but the atmosphere buildup is perfect and the Alien remains a terror that cannot be expressed through jumpscares, which this game thankfully does not use; however this fear for RTS. I only give it the rating I did because of those facts. Tbh I don't like this game... but I don't hate it either.

This game has a reputaiton of being a clone of FNaF series. But, it's actually pretty good for that. Graphics looks nice, overall gameplay is interesting. But, the price. 5.49€ for a mobile game this size is too much. I beat the game in 2 hours with multiple restarts of the levels. So it only has one thing for replay value, keeping every member of the crew alive. No optional objectives, no harder difficulties (although it's hard), no extra levels. But that might be improved/added in the future.

Impressed by this. Honestly, it's probably the best mobile game I've ever played. While mobile certainly isn't my ideal medium of choice for the Alien series, this one is polished and a lot of care was clearly put into it. The environments, character models, and the Alien itself are incredibly detailed. The atmosphere of the game is tense, scary, and keeps you on your toes. It's fun and I was definitely engaged with it.

just finished this finnish game. I have completed isolation + dlc. this game is very good. I spend several hours in a row. everything is on par with isolation when it comes to atmosphere, sound, feeling of dread and tension. the game does however have bad controls and is too short. otherwise a 5/5. To those who say it is up to luck. it is because you are not intelligent enough. there are several ways to trick the Alien, to lure it out and to track where it is going outside view

  71. guest-avatar

It's far better and more difficult than I expected. It really gives a similar tense feeling like the one Isolation used to give. Very good

Game keeps freezing and crashing my system. Had to hard reset just to get my tablet to work again. Definitely need a high-end tablet to play this.

  73. guest-avatar

The game is definitely fun and challenging but I have to agree it was really short. Having to navigate your crew through this space station really challenging and scary but I'm having issues. One is that the prompts for trying to block the alien in your room are way too fast. Although it does remind me of FNAF it feels like its own game with the crew gameplay. Overall though I've had no crashes. The game looks great and the alien looks surprisingly good. A short good game with some problems.

  74. guest-avatar

the game is good i like the idea of leading people to places and having to protect them and having to protect your self but the graphics could be better and i wish i could move the cameras. Honestly when i first played i thought it would be another FNAF clone but its still good. More levels would be really nice and maby a level creation mode would be nice 2. also i love watching the alien and this game is so cool \(○u○)/ but the starting screen needs a cooler picture then just empty space.

In a world full of micro-transactional hell, it is refreshing to see a game that asks for money upfront for the full experience. While it seemingly has used the FNAF formula, it has done so well and tied it into the LORE in a way that makes sense. The only problems i see are the animations are sonetimes a little clunky with characters moving out of sync with their animations. Other than that there could be a little more content for the price.

I am extremely pleased to see Alien, a big title, getting a *good* game on phone. The game is fun to play, but also not too scary. It's not really the game's fault (except in a few things, like the barely noticeable "tense" music), but more of the restrictions of phones. It captures the authentic atmosphere of the alien universe really well, and in an interesting new way. It would be nice to see more content being added in the future!

  77. guest-avatar

It launches, but as soon as any gameplau sounds start up, thats the end. I even bought a new phone tlrecently and tried again to see if that would've been thr issue. Nope. Same thing. I've seen others play it in videos online (using computers to emulate it), so I know the game is actually worth five stars and looks great, but it's still no good if it isn't playable.

  78. guest-avatar

I do not understand most of the others who rated this game. The story is engaging. I find myself exceedingly frustrated by the limited controls. If I could give a group command, it would make the game much more immersive, but having to tell each character to hide is tedious and unrealistic. The power limitations for a fusion-powered station also make very little sense. Overall apply a neutral rating becuase the designers went for an interesting game, but I personally I see room for improvement.

I can see where there are gripes about the game's length as it is VERY immersive and addicting. However, I prefer to NOT have a longer game killing my battery and the graphical quality alone makes the game more than worth the price! In short, I simply love this!! Considering how well the atmosphere and tone was executed, do we have a chance to see future installments? Say maybe... a Predator franchise or Alien VS Predator related game? No objections to more Alien titles either.

I think the game was overall pretty good. The frame rate was a little low (but that may be a personal problem for me) I like the concept of if. and the voice acting was really spot on. I wonder if the actor for amanda ripley did voice acting for this game as well. I say its okay, the graphics could be a little better but its a moble game so im not gonna pick on that to much.

I honestly don't care that the sequel to Alien Isolation is a mobil game. Alien Blackout was really thought out. The graphics are console quality, and the voice acting is great. The controls are also well organized and are easy to get used to. Alien Blackout is very impressive honestly. I love how the Xenomorph is completely unpredictable at times. One moment you have exact location of it, then next it completely disappears as you start to hear panicking or it coming at you. I love this game.

  82. guest-avatar

Despite slight skipping, this is a decent game. I'm not sure if the skipping is the game or just my phone, but either way, an interesting concept. Given that actually running away from the alien yourself while on the bus would be difficult, this is nicely made for times like that. Perhaps a new mode or two, some tweaks here and there, and it could be something really quite special. Not that its bad, because is isn't. Take this review with a pinch of salt due to my lack of sleep. Still worth it

  83. guest-avatar

Best mobile horror game wish it had more to it but playing it was great the graphics were nice and it scared me a good amout of times I would highly recomend this game

  84. guest-avatar

Decent game. I'm a big fan of aliens franchise but not mobile games. I think it's important for devs to understand their base and what they prefer to play on. Though I've run into a bug at the find the scrubbers mission. The characters talk about going to cameras to find them and it never triggers. If I restart some times it will trigger. Basically it shows no objectives for them to walk to and your are stuck. If it helps thornwick is dead in my game. The game is unplayable for me now.

  85. guest-avatar

this game has a great atmosphere that in my humble opinion captures what the original 1979 classic had. playing in the dark with my head phones and hearing the alien move around and not knowing his next move was a tense experience. if you are on the edge of buying this game don't let the few bad reviews deter you away, this game is great for what it is.

A truely scary and immersive game. I love the challenge presented with more openings to your hideout as you progressed in the game. I would of liked to seen more levels. So if this game comes out with a DLC pack I will get it. Plus i would of liked to have an option of gameplay of like easy to most difficult options for the best challenging experience. Other than that amazing game can't wait to see more, if there is more to come.

I'm a big fan of Alien Isolation and this is not that, so set your expectations. It looks similar to Isolation though in that the station itself looks pretty much like Sevastopol, it has a similar claustrophobic feeling which help provide some moments of tension. It's an Alien game fit for mobile and has no microtransactions, so credit to the devs there. I think if the devs ever did another they should consider something like a Republique style of stealth, which I think is perfect for an Isolation style mobile game. As it stands, this is a good enough game and that may be enough until the next AAA Alien game is announced.

  88. guest-avatar

ive seen the game play, but unfortunately cannot get it to start. i open the game, go through the menu, get ready to start the first level, and then it freezes and kicks me home. sometimes it opens a pause menu instead but a couple seconds after pressing play it will kick me home. im not sure if its a bug or what, but im disappointed at being unable to play what is one of a series i grew up too. i still have the old colectors edition of aliens given to me by my dad, i hope the issue is done soon

  89. guest-avatar

Great game, but their should be more updates, levels, level creator/sandbox

  90. guest-avatar

To anybody complaining that this is "just a 5 Nights at Freddy's remake": it's really not. the cameras make for interestig gameplay, AND there is the added difficulty of having to direct the crew and keep an eye on the alien. Allowing it to occasionally come for Ripley is just another layer of scary and a reason to stay all the more alert, which is a GOOD THING as this is a thriller/horror game. Hiding places are meager; that's the whole point. I think it's great! Would love more levels later :)

  91. guest-avatar

when i read about this game, fully expected it to be stupid. after playing a few rounds, its not bad at all. trying to keep your crew members alive while looking over your shoulder has been pretty challenging. recommend you play with headphones for the full effect. certainly isnt any alien isolation 2 but its a fun little diversion.

  92. guest-avatar

If you liked the Alien game for the C64 back in the day, you'll love this one. It is challenging, fun, does not rely on jump scares or gore for horror effect, and has a great plot as well. Graphics are top notch and I recommend turning off power save mode if you can. Would be 5 stars, but later levels have a bug where Ripley's flashlight will turn off forever after you restart the level, making it nearly impossible to see which tunnel the alien is about to attack you from. Restart game to fix.

  93. guest-avatar

I loved Alien: Isolation, and this game, although differing in gameplay, has a very similar feel with the tension it creates. Not perfect, controlling everything on a phone screen isn't always easy, but overall very fun and better than I was anticipating. Good Job! Hope they release some bonus or challenge levels at some point for more replay value.

  94. guest-avatar

Superb game! I low how the game creates nerve wrecking tension with literally only a red blip on the map, just like Alien(s/: Isolation) does. Very clever game design with only a few elements. Although you stare at a small map for the most time, the in-game graphics are amazing (comparable to console quality) and create a beautiful eerie atmosphere. My only complains are the length (it took me only a few days to complete) and the difficulty (some levels I didn't even encounter the alien).

Yep, the visuals do "do justice" to the visuals of Alien Isolation! And for what its worth, if this is how you do it on the small screen, I can well imagine what you'd do on the larger screen if you were making a full on Alien Isolation sequel!! Atmosphere is spot on, and Ive already lost a crew member!! and I felt bad!! I'm gonna re-do this game untill I figure a way to save them all! This is a decent game, even a great game if you take thr platform its playing on into account. Recommended play

  96. guest-avatar

A hopeful but flawed experience. I like how it has aspects of fnaf, but twisting it up with the survival of other crew members and objectives. Surprisingly this kind of works for an Alien game. CONS: Every level NEEDS a checkpoint AFTER the intro sequence. Some intros last up to 30 seconds. No need to re listen to useless dialogue. Reaction time you have to close the door on the alien before you die is way too short. Times the Alien is obviously behind the door, but the game wont let you close

  97. guest-avatar

It really is a 5 Nights at Freddy's clone. I do not see this having much replay value, seeing how I am already half way through the missions, 40 minutes after it was released. Graphics on thr Alien, especially up close are very detailed. I love the Alien franchise, but would much rather have a different/new experience than what Blackout plays out as.

  98. guest-avatar

If you are an Alien fanatic, like myself, this game is a must have. It scares me almost as much as it's predecessor, Alien: Isolation. Great gameplay that cleverly takes a key idea from the 1st movie, and turns it into a suspensful, action-packed strategy game. The xeno Ai is still smart even on this smaller, less powerful platform. The graphics are outstanding! The same models from Isolation are used, and combining that with the GUI makes this game feel like I'm playing the movie. Great job,D3!

  99. guest-avatar

actually not bad, I'm fairly surprised by it. downside is the lack of mission's. After leaning how to place and a few tries on the second mission I breezed through in a hour. personally this would be much better as a PC game, it was actually difficult to quickly press the small icons. But that might be me. a noise maker option would be helpful to lure the alien around. more mission would be brilliant. also a kill everyone would be pretty fun too.

Man, I was so skeptical about this game, mainly, because it is a sequel to Alien Isolation for PC and Consoles, which happens to be my favorite second game this generation. However, Blackout is indeed an eerie, difficult game, that fits amazingly well in Amanda Ripley's story. Had no hope for this game honestly, mainly because its a mobile game, but, I was wrong, if you ar an Alien fan, or played Alien Isolation and loved it, then get this game. You will not regret it. Especially if its on sale.
