•Beginning with Lesson 3, the student simplifies the equation by removing pawns from the balance to solve for the unknown X.

•The student verifies his/her solution by resetting the problem to conduct the check.

•Feedback is provided to the student in the check phase of the problem.

•Simple touch features are used to move the pieces around.

•An expert instructional video is included for each lesson.

    I've always had difficulty with Algebra but these methods provide a clarity that nothing else can provide. I think I'll buy the full app because it may steer me towards a better career option if I can become more comfortable with math.

    All my life I have struggled with advanced math. I was not ashamed of this but I was convinced that math and I would never find common under standing. Then I found this app. I have never found a method to help me overcome my math phobia, but this one with its unique visual learning method has made me not only love the full version but love algebra and look forward to new lessons. Never has an app done that much for me. I have tears of joy and this app is what made it all possible.

    Tried the first 3 free lessons. It was really fun. To bad the rest is co-pay. So I'm uninstalling. It is a must have for parents to help their children.

    I already know algebra and wanted some fun algebra problems, this was good for a few minutes. I don't want to watch lessons so I skipped them. Auto check doesn't work because the number you enter is one more than what the computer thinks you enter. For example, if you enter 1, the computer thinks you entered 0. If you enter 6, the computer thinks you entered 5

    This app and teaching method are, to my thinking, are really AMAZING. From learning NOTHING in high school algebra classes (5 decades ago...) to now actually "getting it" in a matter of minutes is astonishing! Obviously this is total beginner stuff, but it's 100% improvement for me. Thank you!

    Totally recommend this, it will greatly help your child. Try for free for 3 lessons with video easily explained. At the end of completing it, it gives you the option of downloading the app for 2.99 for more equations. Please try it, we live in an age where there is more at our fingertips for learning!

I struggle to compete with math for my entire life and It's beginning to become my weakness but after answering these examples I've learned than don't be always serious about school ,what's important is that you enjoy it, Thank you for making this app

    Dear Dr Borenson. I can honestly say that you are the first person that's made me 'get it', many thanks. I am a 40 year old with a good self taught education in Literature, Music and History, Algebra however...even basic algebraic equations have always eluded my understanding..I could always complete algebra questions by following parrot fashion what I was told to do, however I wanted to understand what it was I was doing. However app not opening since phone change, hope this can be fixed.
