Airmate is a free and easy to use flight planning application for pilots, including many social sharing features and airport charts. Airmate will provide you detailed information on all airports worldwide: location, runways, frequencies, associated businesses. IFR and VFR airport plates are freely available in US (FAA charts), all Europe, and numerous other countries. A powerful Plate Manager allows to download in advance all airport plates in a country, they could be easily printed and viewed. Airmate brings social features to the community. Would like to start by saying what a fantastic app! I'm using it for MSFS 2020 instead of the in game VFR map, which I'm convinced is the culprit for all the CTD's I'm experiencing (Xbox). Thanks again for an excellent "FREE!?!?!" app!

I'm using it on android and ios. I'm experiencing some random restarts of the app. Apart from that it's a fine app. It will probably need a bit of polish on ios version.

Nice effort to make a reasonable VFR moving map solution. A lot of things are not that well implemented. 1: Navigation information top bar is way to small to be uses properly in-flight. A smartphone is large...and there is room for more. I would like a much larger top and bottom bar solution with large squares and large print. Top bar could be standard nav info bottom could be navigations buttons for below options. 2: some Simple Navigations aids are missing. I would like: A: A direction gyro for free flight. Just to keep a heading!!! With track point and everting. B: HSI when flying towards a wpt. to avoid blowing off the track due xwind. 3: Easy DIRECT TO WPT selector. Not everting is happing inside a full flight plan. May flights invent themself when you are flying around for fun in smaller sports planes TMG etc. 4: Aircraft selector list with standard planes. C172 etc. For Denmark the most used VFR points around Roskilde Borup and Valby are missing I hope my feedback will be well received. Its well intended.

A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ App...Used it as a real pilot during a transcontinental ferry flight recently! It worked superbly fine...all GPS flight data matched actual aircraft instruments reading @100%. Thanks to the developing team for making such a great app. I would only recommend that flight tracking feature as a surplus add-on 😎👌🏽

Getting told I am entering invalid credentials when I am using exactly the same as on Ipad.. Use a password manager so it's not a copy paste issue. Moved to android bcos tracking was not working on ipad.

Great App I just downloaded this app yesterday and I love it, it has everything I was looking for maps and you can create a flight plan with the maps you need, I am a SIM PILOT and I can use this for my flights, right now I use Real Flight Simulator. There two issues that in having with this app, the first is when you click on a certain feature it crashes the second problem is when you type in your aircraft information, it keeps on giving you the same image with a different aircraft.

Edit: AirMate support contacted me and has provided me with quick and thorough support. Almost everything has been resolved, with the help provided I have the result I was hoping for. The free maps are there, most functionality works as designed, the airac data is a glitch that will be fixed soon. Keep up the good work, this shows a lot of potential.

Nice app with a huge bug that makes it barely usable: When connected to a sim (FS2020 with XmapsyV3 over SIMCONNECT) in the map through "Start flying now" every time the location updates all dialogs are closed and the map recenters to the plane, mabing it is impossible to use the layers dialog or scroll on the map. I was unable to find a bug tracker or forum to report this an had to resort to Google Play Reviews to report this bug. Ugh.

Great app. In flight mode it's unstable, stops showing the plane or just stops flight mode and I have to restart it. I'm based at an airfield without metar, would be great to show weather info of nearby airports. Could also show NOTAMs. Could also have weight and balance and fuel planning. Good job!!

Easy to use, smooth learning curve. Better than other famous apps., especially for ultralight + VFR, where you don't need lots of details. There is room for improvements but *please* do not overcomplicate it :) LE: lots of iOS features don't not work on Android. Notable the flight recording function.
