Before all the updates, the AI was great and fun to use. Now, the free AI is so stupid. A hot mess to be completely honest. The AI is so restrictive and random. You have to keep reminding it because it will not remember events. It acts so slow. Like what?! Not to mention the new user interface is a mess, and all the good features are locked behind a paywall. I can tell the devs have gotten really greedy for cash. Microtransactions for the win! Really miss the old version of this game.

I downloaded this a few years ago and enjoyed it. It was alittle rough around the edges but i had hope. Though it only got worse, to the point i got fed up with having to write the entire story because the AI can no longer think for itself. Even when it could come up with something it was something off the wall or a way people do not actually talk or do things. So I had to uninstall it,I gave it a second chance today but same problems diffrent skin. If I could give it zero stars i would.

I have to keep changing my review, as more and more things decide to break. Extremely frustrating to pay for an app that doesn't work half the time. Many different errors that don't allow me to continue the story. The AI repeats CONSTANTLY. AI quality will randomly go downhill. I pay for the $10 subscription for the better AI that doesn't do anything at all, and I can't even see an "energy" level like they say there is for Dragon. So disappointing that it just keeps going downhill.

Took the better part of a year to fix some major screw ups. Totally unacceptable! It's decently playable again, but how long will that last? Explore is back, a shadow of its former self, renamed Search. If you want any scenarios outside of generic curated picks, you have to select Show All every time. They buried content tagged NSFW behind yet another setting you gotta always toggle, 'Safe Search'. No return of the comments section yet. Or DMs? Be cautious playing this. Don't get attached to it.

The game is neat, but it ask for your email for an account, with no option to say no. Then they have to approve you(They are looking if you have money). If they approve you then you will get micro transactions shoved down your throat. Then they limit how many times you can play so you can pay. This is bad. The worst part. It is kind of fun with out all this trash. Cange your rules Devs. They probably don't care so this is a waste of time. 4/5 for game play. 0/10 for everything else.

It has genuinely given me such a painful sense of loss to see this game lose so much of what it had. I only wish I had access to the earlier versions. In the end, this AI is still undeniably impressive, its amazing and has so much potential. Its no surprise new players often give it a high review, and older players have lowered their reviews. The AI still has a lot to offer, its one of a kind, but- the makers have done so much to lose trust, its almost comical that theyre now asking for more $$

This app is so much fun. It's a wonderfully creative idea that lets you form any story you can coax the A.I. to understand. It's shakey sometimes, though that has a lot to do with how picky I am about the continuity. This is certianly something you'll be addicted to for a day or two at a time, and I've used it as an entertaining roleplay generator forever now.

You honestly should have just continued what you were doing before, why would you listen to the vocal minority, the media, or anyone who wasn't your player base, the people who actually cared and enjoyed your creation. Unfortunately the game has become unplayable for free. The base model you have access to is "griffin" and the responses to anything you now type is gibberish and rarely makes sense. Subscriptions are the worst business models, I'd gladly pay a one-time-fee of 20-40 dollars.

I remember the glory days of AI Dungeon where plenty of talented creators would upload there content daily and I would always love to read their scenarios. Sadly awhile back AI Dungeon removed the explore feature and invaded the content creators privacy by reading their private scenarios if it didn't follow their new guidelines, Ai Dungeon just wasn't fun anymore and many creators left. After months of being away from this game I'm glad to see it's getting better now, but it could improve a bit.

Edit: I recently checked back on AI Dungeon after months of waiting to see if things improve and it looks like Latitude is actually trying to do right here. Read about their "The Walls Approach" in a nutshell, they're not snooping our single player games anymore. I changed my review from 1 to 3 stars for now, thank you Latitude. Original Review: Monitoring people's single player games? No thanks Seriously, y'all were sitting on a gold mine and you ruined it for yourselves and your fanbase.
