I've been a Premium user for 4-5 years. I especially love the masked email addresses. When I had a working computer I also loved the Accounts feature. Unfortunately the phone app limits the number of characters in a password to 12. A woman at Blur told me they've been working on increasing it for a long time, and that it will probably launch in 2022.

Overlay functionality is very poor. Auto fill menus never persist for more than a couple seconds, making it difficult to auto fill passwords. Auto-fill overlay is way more trouble than it's worth to use. Tech support just tells me it's in beta and that yes, it doesn't work very well. It has been in beta since I've been using the service - around 2 years, with no obvious changes in functionality.

Love the idea, longtime user of other services but the generated card billing/type in the app vs the website doesn't match! It was telling me a card was a discover card and got me banned from a store for too many failed checkout attempt (suspected fraud) only to jump on the computer and see the info was completely incorrect... This happened twice before I realized what the issue was

Way better than privacy dot com! Their customer service is fantastic and responsive! With privacy dot com somehow they allowed a transaction on one of my cards I created and allowed a transaction to go through that was over the amount on the card and then billed ME for the balance! Unreal! Never had any problems with Blur. Thanks guys!

I only installed this so I can leave a review. I read about your service in PC magazine. I came here to see what your customers had to say about your service and this app. You have a 3.8 out of five stars with a lot of clearly cogent comments, and yet your app has not been updated for 14 months. That definitively tells me that you do not have your heads together. So I'm going to uninstall now and pass on your services to my disappointment. Still looking for solutions...

Fantastic privacy suite. EDIT: Unfortunately over time my experience with this app has proven to be rather painful. The app is pretty good on iPhone but on Android, this app leaves a lot to be desired. The auto-fill overlay, even properly configured with accessibility permissions, is unreliable at best. On top of that, there is no option to check my Blur Email Inbox or set up custom named emails like I can on the desktop website. Missing key features. Still a good privacy suite; app needs work.

I've used blur since it was mask me, over the years I've been very happy with it. As with anything where personal information is stored on someone else's server I don't use the autofill for credit cards. There are some glitches with Android, not recognizing a website to offer the autofill feature for password and username. Desktop seems to work flawlessly. With Android it helps to make sure that you're not using a browser-based autofill for emails or usernames.

No way to get support after purchasing premium following errors decrypting mail plus they don't tell you you must pay additionally for masked calls!. Then after adding my debit card to get a masked one, they flagged it without a way to contact support! I don't know where masked emails go after 4 hours, either. Overall, I threw money away for nothing.

Blur has been a piece of S... since this company took it over! In the beginning this was a great app. But not anymore. It is pure Trash. It was quite some years ago that they acquired it. They did not have the courtesy to allow you to integarate the old app to their garbage. Caused quite a bit of confusion.
