Reviews From google play store

Very nicely put together. 2 issues that prevent it reaching 5 stars: when buying, taking, dropping you cannot give the number of item, it's one by one. When you need to by literally buy over 1200 item....it's a lot of clicking just to buy something. Second issue is on the map movement. Sometimes it seems you bump into something invisible and can't move forward. It makes moving around really unpleasant and ruins the experience.

I'll bump up the star gauge once my transactions come through. It's been a week or so in time since I purchased gems... its maddening when the gaming company takes the money yet doesn't give the player what they paid for. Get yourselves together and fix this issue. I've paid 2.99 TWICE. Granted it's not much but thank goodness I didnt purchase anything steeper. Looking forward to being refunded or receiving the already paid for gems.

I wish you could get missions from the villagers to find something or defeat something. Also farms, why are there no farms. Also would be neat if you could make tools for the villagers so they could be more productive. But all in all a great game totally love it

Its a great game the only thing i wish was added is to be able to buy items in bulk so i dont need to hold my finger in one place for like 5 min straght just to gain a large amount of stuff to buy something else expensive like sulfer or something like that. Oh yea i like the battle system... Yea i dont have alot of good things to point out

This is an amazing kind of interactive text style game!! It's engaging, even when it's a grind, and you SEE the advancing! It's truly amazing and I love playing it!

A very innovative and addictive game! It can best be described as a mix between an RPG and a management game. You build and manage a small community of people in order to generate resources to be used for exploratory RPG-style expeditions.

Game is good but after some time it is either grind like crazy 15 hours to get a rifle or watch 100 ads or spend real money. Too greedy devs!

Increasing cost of upgrading huts and traps are ridiculous. Traps gets broken often that it's not worth it to have more than 10 upgrades.

Its good, its got something good going for it tho i dont like that if you buy meat after running out while on an expidition it still acts like your dead

Not much of a tutorial, but I think that adds to the enjoyment of the game!

I think its very good it would be better if i would be getting materials while in not on the game and if it said whete i can get the code bc it expects me to just know

An excellent game of strategy and skill.

Have to ads in a premium game.

Bad. you cant get iron unless you have iron. When exploring you can just die without any rime or reason.

Its pretty addicting I've been playing for the last 5 hours a cant really stop

Fun intuitive game

It's a good game, but lacks information. There are lots of items you can craft. The problem is there is no description of what you use the item for. I made 20 spears thinking hunters would use them. Not the case, weapons are used once the exploration tab is unlocked. I like the look of the game as well as the fitting music. The user interface is great. I got discouraged trying to acquire iron and coal for the next structure.

While I really enjoyed playing this game, both for the interesting art style, as well as the challenge. Sadly I won't be continuing to play since it seems that I cannot produce coal or iron on my own and having to loot them in small increments or buy then outright is an onerous grind that is totally unnecessary. So thank you for the interesting experience, perhaps if you update to include more manufacturing and production options I'll come back and check it out.

love the game but there are a few things that needs major improvement (1) there is not information about the items or buildings, about what they do or help in. (2) some events just don't make sense for example when the trap is broken and you go to the jungle nothing happens. if nothing is supposed to happen then why is it there? Other then that it's an amazing game.

the game is okay. It is decently fun, but you have to buy stuff in game it wants you to build a steelworks, and you need iron and coal to do so. The only way to get those is to spend money (only like $3) or to watch 120 ads to get enough gems (12 total) to buy iron and coal. If it wasn't for having to spend even more money in game, then i would give it a higher rating

It's a decent at your own pace kind of game. The art style is well done, and it's game play is smooth so far no lagging or long loading screens. I just do not like how it's more a pay to play type game sure you can watch ads but who wants to watch hundreds of ads for materials at 1x each..some materials are hard to get until you reach some new villages. There should be more quantity of the material if you have to watch the ads....

Great graphics. Straightforward mechanics, but processes take way too long. There should be some way to produce Iorn and Coal. The trade process makes sense at the beginning of the game, but there should be a simpler process later on after you have the steel works building.

Phenominal. The experience was great and the survival mechanics(the consumption of water and food) wrre well done. However, the trading sustem for coal, iron, scales, and teeth seems a little too unbalanced for me. Asides from that, everything was great.

Pretty good game the big thing is that IRON and COAL are hard to acquire, for example 100 iron costs 500 SCALES (or 3500 FUR if my math is correct) then another 3500 FUR (again if my math is correct) to make things worse it takes 10 ads to get a single CRYSTAL. .. and you need multiple to buy IRON, COAL, STEEL, etc...

very fun game, little bit grindy, but the grinding isnt too long and I havent really any complaints other than there is no hint on where to find ores like iron or coal. i had to look it up to find out what to do

As many others have stated, this is more or less a direct copy of A Dark Room. Only this one is MUCH slower and harder to do much, in order to encourage people to buy stuff. In other words, a freemium game that will end up costing much, much more than buying ADR. The art is nice, but not worth that. Just play ADR or A Dark Night, which is another very similar game but free. They both have their pros and cons, both individually and compared to each other, but both are far better than this PTW trash.

Not great at first. but as it expands it gets better. Especially once you get to the embark portion. But there is a lot of guessing in this game. Basically no direction at all. And when merchants pop up to sell you things, I wish I could go into my inventory and see what I need. Or look at the shop to see what I need to buy in order to trade it. The secret merchants pop up randomly and I'm never prepared for it. And once you send them away you may never see them again.

There needs to be more of a tutorial on the game. I took me for ever to realize that in the overworld I needed to find and explore iron and coal mines to be able to get those materials. There is also a huge unnecessary reliance on the fur material to the point of needing to farm it for hours to gear up by trading it for scales and teeth. Then there is no sale feature at all. I can buy stuff using my gathetered materials but I can not sell any of them to get more needed mats. I have like 700,000 meat. I will never use that. There needs to be a currency that can be gained rather than a bunch of mata you exchange for other mats.

its not even a hard game, i really like it. The only thing is, is that you have to grind for wood and fur, actaually everything.

This game is an strait copy clone of the award winning game "A Dark Room". The only thing new is the art style.I I wouldn't mind a game inspired by another but every thing is a direct copy of the other game. Every action. The names of the goods, even the dialog pop ups during events are word for word copies of A Dark Room. To make matters worse this game added micro transactions to milk money out of you instead of charging a flat fee. Do youself a favor and a favor for the integrity of the original artists and don't play this.

no tutorial for anything you will have to find guides online and there isn't much that you cant figure out for yourself in those guides. Also needlessly money grubby when it isn't even fun enough to attract your attention for more than 10 minutes at a time

the game us interesting. i like the concept. just wish yoy had a better explanation for the explorations. also wish there was an off line gaining. cant wait to see if ypu expand it.

game is nice. so far im loving it. challenging but still fun. once you learn how to play that is. kind of confusing at first.

Amazingly slow. Amazed you have the high rating. The game ratios are off on what the people gather. Limit of 10 carts. Should be one per household. If traps are destroyed they can take half my limit. A hut is a hut and the same with traps. the cost should be the same on each build. What, no coal mine, one of the most abundant elements on planet Earth and I have to trade teeth and scales for it? Without my town people being able to mine coal what good is the steel mill. You should have the option for people checking for traps instead of me pounding that slow moving circle. The graphics are ok but game play could be better. Instead of trading for 1 let me trade for 10 or even 100 at a time. After reading reviews, same game as A Dark Room but different name. Lazy programmers.

ehh its really hard. i guess its good output for a base of real life games but the exploring, thats too hrash

The game is good(aside from the copy of mechanics of a Dark Room, good that they tried to change the artwork to make it seem more original) but what is the use to this app exactly? It has little differences from the original free version of this game, what, was it to fool people into buying it so more revenue could be gained? To the least you could add more features that you can't get from the original game that makes it more fun. Also I find the fact you have to watch 10 ads for 1 gem (+0.1 points to getting a gem per ad) is ridiculously stupid, people are giving you revenue for the waste of time watching an ad and to the least should be rewarded for it appropriately and not be fooled with such a low excuse to getting in-game benefits.

fun, streamlined experience. UI is ambiguous which can be frustrating. It's hard not to progress.

great game with strategy and critical thinking. an awesome game can't wait to see how the game plays out lots of adventure to be had:)

The game is great although the material needed for crafting and building is off the charts not to mention getting them is hard as well.. please help with this thanks..

decently fun little game! seems a little slow at times but that's just the kind of game it is. little grinder rpg

Idle game that needs constant attention, gets more interesting over time until you unlock everything, then becomes repetitive. Good flavor, lackluster play.

The game is pretty fun, kinda like A Dark Room, but it gets harder. It is a little confusuing at first for a child like me, but i got the hang of it.

It's an alright game. Graphics and the fact i can play this game offline is great. Slow paced to start but entertaining enough to keep me playing. The concept is great, but for a paid game its not that good compared to others. If this was free 5 stars if paid 3.5-4. Still an ok game. Also iron mines are a little hard to find.

No tutorial more or less (the game still guide you to what to do next). Rated it 5 star - Its Awesome time killer game Much like idle games but theres still an Adventure to it as you progress it became harder :D Im still. At stage 3 (finish)out of 20 stages (i think). just looting some medicine (needed) and Teeth (hard to gather in large number) But there is something that making me question something in the game a lot.... Why is Coal much harder to get than Iron? (Early game) no miner. Im curios also How. Do you get the miners. I dont see it in the buildmenu, Do i need the steel work to unlock it if so then Im already at it (still hard to get xoal)-_-

I had fun adding new structures and gathering resources but it didn't take very long to get almost everything. Please add more.

Lots to it: Turns from idle game to map exploration/fights with high focus on inventory management for survival. What it NEEDS.. a way to collect crystals, either as rare late stage item drops, or daily login. By stage 16/20, even with my stats upgraded to lv21 a piece, I can barely make it through 1/5 map before all my bolas/food/ammo runs out. I really hope the game is beatable without crystals... :( Also need a way to buy material (like teeth) in bulk (x10, x100, x1000 options).

I like the take on a PBBG that this game makes seem perfect. Awesome job guys! My only complaint would be the lack of what items you can find automatically, after awhile you'll end up stacking usless material well you struggle to collect the others. At that point, the game lacks and it could be fixed with something simple, like coal and iron miners that require meat and wood. Hope you read this!

Ugly gameplay but pretty graphics. Gameplay: Ripoff of the 'A Dark Room' game and still manages to copy miserably. Becomes difficult if not impossible to beat at some point in the game unless you buy upgrades with real $$$ (which are needed later on). Also, typos are everywhere. Graphics/art: The portrait artwork is inspired. Not necessarily great, but I would say it's a good example. However, the overworld, text font, and other graphics tend to clash, diminishing the overall aesthetic.

It's just a copy of "A Dark Room", pretty fun but also really confusing at the beginning, the events are pretty unforgiving, especially the plague, you need to have all the resources right when it pops up, having a time limit to get them would feel more fair.

This would be a decent game if not for the extremely greedy devs. This is the paid version and if you want to get crystals to speed up getting materials (without having to buy them) then you will be watching 10, TEN ads for ONE crystal. Most free games on the store are way less of a grind than this greedy game. And you can find way better paid games for cheaper.

this game is actually and I am 100% serious, a 99% stolen game from the developers of "A Dark Room". This game uses the EXACT same dialogue, and story but simplyhas a different concept art and layout of the HUD. Worse yet, this game requires microtransactions to not bore your brains out, and you must watch an insane amount of ads to acquire the premium currency (which isn't even half decent) it scales proportionally in the beginning, but does not stay in proportion as you progress and advance.

Enjoyable game, but if they just refined the UI with capitalized letters and maybe some transitional animations it'd be better. Still nice game though

its lots of fun so far! i kind of wish your villagers would continue to gather wood or hunt in your absence but i can see how thatd affect gameplay a bit

could be a few better ways to earn crystals in game but it's intriguing and charming and nifty. unsure if I'd have paid for it, glad it was on sale for free for a bit tho.

This game is incredibly boring and so slow paced. To move the dial at all you have to spend money. Not enough to do. Who wants to waste time by waiting for two cool downs to complete just to start them again. Why build buildings if they open no options to use email? After a week its just blah....

I instantly got hooked and started playing it, build as much hits as you can until you have +40 let them all grab wood only until then and then have 80% people gather fur and dont spend fur until a random lady comes to sell you stuff at a discount and when you got 80% of the people get fur while it's cheaper for other purchases

Great game take a while to progress but you dont need money to do it.

It seemed pretty interesting when i started playing, but then it kept geeting difficult. To build a training camp you need 200 steel, which is not directly available, so i had to start collecting teeth and scales to make steel, but since even they are scarce i had to use up all the fur been collected, to buy teeth n scales and then have buy the steel....pretty tough and time consuming i should say๐Ÿ˜ฅ

A poor clone of "A Dark Room" that is inferior to the original in every aspect. To make matters worse, intrusive IAP interfere in the gaming experience, whereas the original had none. Not recommended, download the original Android port of "A Dark Room" instead.

Excellent work and well implemented, too! For RPG lovers it's a delight! As it stands it's a value for money product, but because I loved it so much I'd wish you put more content and enlarged the game a bit more! Keep up the good work developer!โœŒโœŒ

very repetitive but still fun. its a good mobile mashup of resource gathering and adventuring... would wish the water lasted longer though

I love this game, it's probably one of the best games for mobile. The only problem I have is it's super hard to get any iron or coal at first. The only way to get it is to buy it and you need it for your steel workshop. It's super hard to earn enough bones and scales to trade for coal and iron.

Well it's nice for 90s text adventure lovers, but it gets boring after a while. Doing the same thing again and again is not an adventure game specialty. So I installed again after playing for a few hours , I said enough is enough and removed the game..

great game but the downside is you must purchase the crystal for you to have a better chance of survival in the game, and hoping that the developer will change the settings that the character will only die if its HP is turned to zero (0) and not when the water or cured meat is depleted.

cool game. would rate a five star if I knew how to open any of the mines. other than that it's a lot of fun to play.

Really fun but simple at the same in learning how to play. There is definitely a change here as well. You can get into a routine of gathering and forget that you can build more stuff and what you need to advance. I recommend it.

Game is good. But there is a problem with the battles, the enemy changes during a battle and we are stuck with no enemy and to come out of this place you have to loose all yku got. You lose with no opponent. Please correct this ๐Ÿ›.

This game pretty much sucks. It really doesn't have much too it. Build this to build that to go get killed a little later on the map. Not really much to enjoy it's kind of annoying actually. Unless you just like grindy grind fests for the sake of grinding the grind.

great game but I just got scammed. I purchased a few gems and it worked fine, but when i bought more of them, it didnt give me any, onstead of 32 gems. I now cannot revive due to this and it is extremely dissapointing. please please give me my money or my gems back. please.

It's a great game! It takes a while to really get immersed into, but once you get to that point, there's not coming back! The only thing I ask is that there be a friending system or something of that nature. Other than that, just add in some events to mix it up a bit, and keep up the good work!

No game should ask you to go to Paypal to buy objects. Game sucks anyway. Too much time to gather materials and no point to it at all. Dont bother to download unless you want to be bored to death. Removing it and going back to Scrabble.

this game is basically a ripoff of the game dark room I thought this game was from the same creators but it turns out this is a copy of it, the dialogues are pretty much the same and its like they don't want you to progress. its a dark room but with another name and some images.

Fun, but have problem on purchasing. Purchased but didnt received crystals. Luckily i got a refund from playstore.

I apologize for the 1 star review but the first 5 minutes of the game is rowing a boat and stoking a fire. I didn't feel the need to continue.

Hey, this is a direct copy of A Dark Room. nearly word for word, even. And it attempts to squeeze even more money out of you. I saw it on sale--for free--so I'm glad I didn't pay any money for such a blatant theft and cash grab as this.

complete clone of "A dark room". wording, progression, events, everything. only thing unique is the art and having to pay. go play "A dark night", which is free, if you're at all interested in this.

this is literally a word-for-word copy of A Dark Room, but with art, if you want to play the original game it's free on browser, just search for it on your PC if you have one, just don't give money to this game

great game and background music. needs more guide however, took me three daus to understand hoe to beat the devil's forest

A pleasing variant of the "Dark Room" style games. Decent use of sounds, hand-drawn and unique visuals, and a well-defined overworld map make this particular entry a joy to play, and great at killing time!

A direct copy of A Dark Room. All the text is exactly the same, even down to nothing being caputalized, a very specific trait of A Dark Room. Same mechanics. Only thing different is the title...sort of...and it has art.

it's the exact same as the non payo version, as far as i remember it. only reall differences are the healing thing now has a function, and all the times for villager tasks go by ten seconds, so coordinating them is easier

I like this game, but I'm really lost in several things like what do I need to do in those. Could you please make directions or hints on how to prevent it since my villagers keep on dying or how to get the gold, or even steel.

Pretty Goid time waster over all. I think that the start feels a little grindy just pressing the same button over and over but once you get more options and start making your own choices it gets really enjoyable.

hey! this game is amazing and adictive and I love playing but I'm asking can there be more cut scenes like a strange noise is coming from afar but sounds so close the people (villagers) are getting annoyed of it and threaten to leave if it doesn't stop, in stuff like that?

responsive, and fun. worth the time and effort you put into it

very good survival game. there are some cons: missing tutorial or any help, zooming and moving on map not very good, often make a step when I don;t want to. could be better if resources gather over time when idle. but still worth to play

Not fun at all. You need to play a long time to get item and the online don't even work. Some item are hard to even it that take it hour to get 100 of it. Why it cost more wood to build more hut?

Generally, it is a very good game. The only real problem, is that there is no way to buy large amounts of materials at one time. This is a problem, because buying the right amount of stuff takes a very long time.

Seriously fun survival game. Just enough information to get you going and keep you interested. Overworld map controls could be better, though.

Fun, resource collector with story, mood and being a village major simulator thrown in.

Good For what it is, Lacks consistent interest and activity story-wise

Pretty nice text based game, haven't played it for too long yet so can't evaluate objectively

Intensely boring and slow. Takes forever to gather resources. You're supposed to be able to get and ride a dragon. Never got there. Took too long.

Great game for passing time. Nice mechanics if you wanna leave your phone on idle to. I enjoy it and am looking forward to future updates and hopefully more content.

A copy of A Dark Room, but worse. Everything is set up to force you to spend gems. Each action cost you 5-10 gems and to get 1 gem you have to watch 10 AD. TEN!!!

As a *near exact* copy of A Dark Room, it is good but there's a lack of tutorial, instructions, and so it's pretty confusing at first. The zoom function is also pretty bad.

is a good game but needs improvement. a big one would be being able to buy, craft or build more then 1 item at a time.

Resolution is screwed using an OnePlus7Pro. Probably because of not having a 16:9 aspect ratio

Wasted my time playing this.. As usual, you will be facing a Paywall where you need to buy in order to progress unless your ok with Grinding like forever! At first it was Fun and after some time it became Boring!

I really love the game but it does not fit the screen very well and due to it I can't embark on a journey. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ข Update: I just change my settings and now it fits. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€
