    Honestly this company does not work well with their techs at all. When a customer is unsatisfied, especially due to their own negligence, they blame it on the tech and then give a bad review. It should never be a representation of the tech. So I went from having numerous five star reviews to numerous one-star reviews. And now I am suspended. It's not worth being a member of this company.

    Update 3: It's been a few months and I'm trying this again. At the end of my workday, I set my account to unavailable but, could not stop 6ya from sending me calls. UPDATE 2: My friend did 6ya while unemployed and was able to cover all of his bills. I'm also trying this while unemployed. UPDATE 1: I have a real job, now, and don't need this, any more. Due to the customer service, I'd be willing try again if I'm ever unemployed! I, however, I couldn't stop the calls from coming in 24/7. Eventually, the 6ya media team reached out to me. INITIAL REVIEW: After uninstalling the app last night, I've received 41 calls (I'll keep updating this number as it goes up). I've since blocked the 6ya number so that I could get sleep.

    Needed some help with a boiler (actually just a confirmation of the solution since i had an idea of what to do). So i used this app and choose to have a video conference. The technican was great!! Walked me through all the steps I had already done and confirmed how to get the boiler going again. Was really happy i had this app as a reference guide.     I installed this app after I was told by email that I have it and was charged $95. I was told to install it do I can cancel it. I never installed this app, I don't know who u r, u stole enough money for me to eat for a week, I'm only on SSI and ,again, I just now installed this solely for the reason to cancel it! U R thieves and if u don't return my money and cancel this I will have a police report made and then bring u to the federal authorities as consumer fraud! Return my money now!

    Davaughn W: Terrible do not use them! They deactivated my account because of a 1 star customer who got upset after nicely explaining to her you must have internet in order to stream with roku. Htf is telling the customer the truth rates me 1 star??? The other 1 star was after explaining to a customer I cant get them a refund with uber because i dont have that account information access. Now i gave them a bad rate based on truth lets see them shut 6ya down. BTW I have 4 reviews 2 5 and 2 1. They need to remove the review system it's hurting the economy.

They offer a reasonably good service, but underlying that is their agenda to hook people into on-going monthly payment.     Their services were ineffective and expensive. I got disconnected after they performed a service that I didn't even ask for. I was in the process of trying to explain what I actually needed, and I was told thank you and disconnected. You cannot talk to actual people so I found, and I don't like discussing business with text. I won't use them again. They were not customer oriented, in my case.

    Not worth the subscription. "Experts" are very good at saying "since I'm not there and can't see it..." Obviously, and that's not the point. If you can't troubleshoot remotely, don't be a tech on this service. Also, follow-up when you say you will. Don't ghost the customer.

    absolutely amazing best 9 bucks ever spent!! i highly recommend our tech was absolutely flipping amazing!! saved us a fortune and in minutes got our furnace going and explained so wonderfully and not condescending etc i saw so many bad reviews but was desperate and im so so so glad i did!!!! try it 9 bucks was totally worth it!!! and love being able to add a tip if i coukd have tipped more i would have!!

    Your expert knew what he was doing but when we tried them they didn't work. A couple small things were fixed but when it came to the bigger problems we spent a good long time on them and he agreed with me to call my carrier. He and I felt they coild help both problems as well as address another small problems. I haven't contacted my carrier as yet.

    I am not sure what is the purpose of this app when it lacks several features. First amd the foremost is that it does not support my phone number. What sort of the error is that? I can use the same phone number on the online account of 6ya and get connected to experts but not through this app. I would rather use thumbtack, home advisor, you tube etc than this stupid start-up which lacks vision and use to the consumer. Complete waste of money.....

    Love to be apart of such a great idea! I'm a tech and I genuinely get excited when a call is sent to me. The reaction from customers when you solve their issue is priceless.. Fixing things is my life- my passion, I get to help others who I normally wouldn't have been able to. I don't do it for the money but that is definitely a perk of the program. Im so glad that I was able to get involved with this in the beginning So I can watch as it transforms into a multi million dollar business.

    My rating used to be a 5, but I've encountered a number of bugs that have made me stop using the app. I enjoy being an expert and fixing things, but strange bugs are making my missed call percentage drop badly. Sometimes support answers my emails and sometimes they don't. It's become more stressful than beneficial.

    I am really thankful for this app and service! I have saved tons of time and money using this! I've just used this app to fix why my car won't start. -A lot of people leaving bad reviews on here seems to be user error. At first I wasn't receiving the calls. That's because my phone auto blocks certain numbers. I had to manually enter in to allow their number they call from. - people check whether you're choosing yearly or monthly subscription! - try more than 1 expert if needed.

    Edit: I am using wifi with 400mbps speed. I had a really good experience talking to experts. In my case i spoke with electricians when rewiring light switches around the house. Thats where the 3 stars come from. The app on the other hand is terrible. Its almost impossible to use the video call. The only way i can use the service is through a phone call. thankfully i know enough terminology for a smooth transaction.

    I used it to try to resolve a billing problem with Uber and not only didnt even get a proper web address to resolve it. Never knowing this service was not part of Uber but a seperate pay sevice. So instead of getting my 74.97 back I lost another 14.99!!!

    they dont unsubscribe people or refund their money. they charged me for six months. they told me i could go online and unsubscribe so i checked and there is still NO way to UNSUBSCRIBE!!! **update** still no way to unsubscribe they're trying to cover their own rears by telling that they have reached out to me I have reached out to them and they still refuse to refund what's left of my money and still has not unsubscribe me just cancelled my further payments so i dont get charged for 6 months.

    Useless people and waste your money and time. I hired hvac guy and solved the issue in 5 minutes. Just changed the fuse. I spoke to 6ya 20 minutes and even I told fuse is the problem. He couldn't help wasted money. Don't try if you have luck might get solved by fluke. Pray God.

    I talked with a technician who was not familiar with my (very common) home security system. He was obviously guessing in trying to help me with the debug. When he suggested that I ground my DC circuits on the AC circuit, I told him that I wanted to speak to someone with experience with my system. He said that would be no problem and that I would not be charged a second time when I spoke to a second technician. When I spoke to the second technician, I asked him upfront if he had experience with my system. He said he did not. So as not to waste either of our time, I said we should close the call. He agreed. So not only did I waste my time and not get any help at all, I soon discovered that I had indeed authorized a DOUBLE CHARGED for the non-service. How in the world do these guys stay in business??? Finally, I tried to submit a request for help on my phone, but kept getting a CAPTCHA fail. How could that be when I was never given a CAPTCHA to respond to? Very frustrating!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled....I have troubleshooted everything I can think of. Yet I still have not talked to a live human being... I am unsure of the cause or the reason for tnis.. all I can think of is the extended do not disturb caused by the covid-19. But it is what is.. next step is to delete this account and start a new

    6ya is a farce, while trying to contact uber about my account this site somehow took over. While adding my information to uber 6ya managed to get the greedy paws on the info and charged my account. I want my money back because I never wanted to be signed up with you I was trying to speak to uber. Luckily the words I want to say want show, because I have some explicit words I'd like to use.

    Not getting any calls at all! Terrible, immature and not a very professional company. they require you to blast your profile all over the internet in order to get calls. Also, if you give them your honest opinion in your review here they will not allow your expert 6ya profile to be viewed by the public. Don't bother with this app, you can do better using your social media profile and posting flyers around your town and illuminate these clowns!

    This company has no morals as they pick and choose after a lengthy wait period. I answered all of the questions with a great answer. Five days later without even anyone emailing me once , they said I wasn't accepted and couldn't go any further but they would keep my info. I have the background and knowledge of over 20 fields. I also heard this is a scam site and it should be investigated because you don't pay people nor do you help members, or people who want to work for you.

    UPDATE: On 3/5/2020 I got a response here on this format. I never received an email or anything from anyone about my "account". My last review was a complaint. I'm still complaining because it's wrong and you don't do people like that. I wish I never had gotten involved or introduced to this company 😔. I have uninstalled this app and will not pursue this situation any more. I have wasted a lot of energy chasing these people to get them to respond. It's simply not worth it. NO STARS.

    Ok I am a Contractor with 25 years in all trades of residential and commercial building from the ground up. I also am 1 of the people you may speak to when calling 6ya. It Is A good service as well there good expert's. I have read some reviews saying it's a waist of money. well those are likely the people that either dont have the patience to have an expert walk them through a diagnosis. Or they may not want to hear what they get told. Use video chat on the app you can't go wrong.

    I used 6ya-Instant Expert Help one time back in January of 2020...Gave my permission to do an authorization transaction of $14.99 from my bank account....In February I noticed an unauthorized transaction of $14.99 from my bank account...I sent an email on Feb. 8th 2020 requesting my account be canceled...6ya replied back saying.{Thank you for contacting the 6YA Team. Best Regards, The 6YA Team} Never heard anything back in the month of Feb. Than on 03/09/2020 another unauthorized transaction of $14.99 was withdrawn from my bank account..On March 12th sent another email to 6ya's support team requesting my account be cancelled again and also be reimburse $29.98 from both the month of Feb. and March 2020....6ya sent back an email saying {Thank you for contacting the 6YA Team. We have received your inquiry (35651) and will respond as soon as we can, within 1-2 business days. To add additional comments, reply to this email. We appreciate your continued patience.
